“Obsessed. Even if you are NOT into cereal flavors, they have what you need! Do you like ice cream? You will LOVE this ice cream. Have some fun and enjoy an unexpected flavor with friendly conversation! Samples abound, additional toppings do not. Not much in the way of seating, but ice cream like this is enjoyed too quickly to worry about it.“

“Once I saw the Strawberry Shortcake flavor on Instagram I knew it was a must try, and it did not disappoint. I got two scoops, one of the Just Chocolate and one of the Strawberry Shortcake, and it was amazing. Definitely the best ice cream I've had in NYC.“

“Seeking last minute ice cream for a toddlers birthday party, I yelped the top places in Brooklyn and dove into the reviews. Arriving at the ice cream parlor I was greeted with smiles and a chill of excitement for the samples... unfortunately you only get three samples so I had to fine tune my decision. I locked in the Beet Ginger, the vegan version, and the Soursop (google it). The beet was subtle and the ginger surprisingly sweet, it was a great unexpected medley of flavor; obviously I left with a pint. The other choice was the Strawberry, the safe but decadent choice for a kids party... who doesn't like strawberries right. The staff were informative, knowledgeable, and were split in the decision of me wearing crocks in March . Service: 5/5 Options/Variety: 5/5 Flavor: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Well worth the trip from Newark.“
“I LOVE Lady Moo Moo, and it's such a great addition to the Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Their tropical flavors especially were SUCH a gamechanger in the killer heat this summer. I really enjoyed their passionfruit and coconut offerings, but there wasn't a single person upset about any of the flavors they were slinging by the scoop. They have the best Lady Moo Moo mural and multi-colored decor surrounding the hole-in-the-wall shop, and they even had a bowl for thirsty doggos. This establishment goes to show that it's always going to be quality over quantity. The staff was lovely, efficient, and explanatory. In terms of parking, it's New York: it's easier to bike or walk.“

“As an offshoot/sequel to the redoubtable Ample Hills, it should be no surprise that the ice cream is superb: thick, rich, inventive, creamy, and perhaps my favorite in New York’s five mighty boroughs. I always go ooey gooey butter cake or peppermint pattie (or both), but there are delights to suit every taste. (Note well: I was so excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a photo until after a few bites. A cone offers more than pictured here.)“

“The food here was AMAZING! And the atmosphere is great. Overall a wonderful place for a bite to eat! We had the Hawaiian torta and the birria burrito and both were absolutely amazing and super filling!!! Plus they had a bunch of Mexican snacks/drinks and it looks like they also have Mexican ice cream. I’m definitely coming back !“

“The staff are always welcoming, willing to provide tastes and informing of new flavors as soon as you walk in unless it is uber busy. The variety in flavors is good enough, and the tastes are awesome. Prices are, of course, higher than your chains, but the uality and vegan options are worth the cost. On warm Sunday afternoon, sitting on the bench outside with your favorite vegan icee in Bed Stizzy is happiness.“

“Absolutely stunning restaurant. So worth the trip to LIC. We had the Diablo pizza which was so flavorful and the dough was so soft and not chewy or tough at all. The burrata and tomato was fresh and light. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and soft, full of flavor. The tortellini was buttery, so creamy and delicious. I’m still thinking of the butter pecan gelato which is made by the owner’s son. The owner herself is so welcoming and effervescent. The wait staff were bright, cheery, helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.“

“This is the top of the ice cream world in Hamilton Heights! Slow churned treats include several dairy and non dairy flavors (on a rotating basis), with just enough flavors to keep your taste buds wanting more. Never have we been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, and there is usually more than enough, even in the smallest sizes, to please your desires. If you have a big appetite (or a hungry partner), the cookie sandwich with freshly baked cookies and a massive helping of ice cream, is a favored order.“

“Get their vegan banana bread and pair it with their Island Coconut ice cream - heaven on earth! I’m not even remotely vegan. Seems they have wide variety of seasonal flavors, so I tried this combo a few months back but forgot to post about it. Returned again today for a pint to go, sorrel rum is one of my favorites here but I decided to try the black cake flavor just because I picked up a slice of black cake from Royal Bakery down the street… ended up pairing very nicely!! Was pleasantly surprised by the generous chunks of black cake in the ice cream… arguably as good or better than Royal Bakery (our little secret!). Never tried a flavor I didn’t like, and they’ll kindly let you try a few before deciding, and give good personalized recommendations. Small counter with a bench and bistro table outside to enjoy on a nice day. Please support these lovely people on Nostrand Ave.“

“Very good ice cream with very good prices ($6 for 2 scoops), generous portions, decent number of classical options (10 with 3 vegan). They allow sampling and also have soft serve, sundaes, shakes, egg cream, brownies etc.Our favorite was the chocolate lovers (chocolate ice cream with brownies and fudge) which was exceptional with great texture and richness. They also have some limited space inside.“

“was lured into @tipsyscoop by the pretty boozy cocktail photos, but ended up with the flight because I couldn't decide...what a great idea! I ended up choosing the Clausmopolitan, chocolate-mint martini, mango margarita, vanilla bourbon. I don't usually go for the cosmos but that turned out to be my favorite flavor! The vanilla ice cream was the least boozy but still a great dessert! Anyone prderjng thr sundaes can keep the glass and they have pints ready for takeaway as well!“
“We stopped at the ice cream window tonight. As we walked up at 7:55 pm, the A-frame read: last day. The music inside got louder as we approached the window; they were playing Lorde’s ‘Supercut’. We were the last customers of the day, the last customers of the season. The two people still working asked if we’d like to try anything, so we did—the ‘Linden’ was all gone, but they told us it was named after the Linden tree, which grows on the streets of Ridgewood beyond the Window. They harvest the flowers in June and use it to make ice cream during the months that follow. Another woman who worked there came up and joined our conversation—she said the Linden tree grew natively in her homeland, Poland, and the smell reminded her of childhood. We ended up trying the Brown butter, Waldmeister, Guava and Passionfruit. Everything was decadent. Ice cream window 4ever“

“Glace by Noglu is the internet viral hot chocolate in NY. My friend had tagged me in one of their posts shortly before my trip, so I made a point to visit when I was in NY a couple of months ago. They open at 11am, and my cousin and I were there right when they opened, and there was already a long line. We waited about 20 minutes to get through the doors. The hot chocolate is upwards of $10 each. I got the peppermint hot chocolate $12.50 and it was good, it tastes like a regular peppermint hot cocoa to me. I guess what sets it apart from other places is the torched marshmallow fluff. Cute place to grab hot chocolate!“

“I hosted my daughter's 7th Birthday here and it was simply amazing. The staff was wonderful at ensuring everything and I mean literally everything was taken care of. The staff all went above and beyond in making this such a stress free party. We had the whole backyard to ourselves and all the kids and adults fit so comfortably under the canopies back there. The kids got pizza and of course ice cream and they couldn't have been happier. My daughter said it was the best party ever. We frequently stop in for ice cream since it is local and we are never disappointed.“

“came for a quick scoop, and thank god I had cash. they don't accept card for anything under $10! they apparently have a lot of flavors in the back, but I quickly chose the coffee oreo on display, which felt more like coffee chocolate chip than anything. a kids scoop with a sugar cone was $5 flat, which is a pretty decent price for the area and the size of the scoop wasn't bad. would come back to try the other flavors as long as I have cash. they're also nice abt samples!“
“Super friendly and patient staff! My kids were so indecisive but the staff offered a tasting to help my kids decide! We finally ended with rainbow ice, mango and coconut and vanilla flavors! There is a Sandy backyard and a lot of fun for kids!“

“Absolutely the best ice cream I've had in Brooklyn. So far, we've tried grape nut, guava, and Irish moss. All amazing. Are the staff going to gush over you? Maybe not, but they will give you excellent homemade ice cream at a very reasonable price and in a decent size. The guava tastes like fresh guava, and the Irish moss tastes like Christmas: so good.“

“Love that they opened one here in Astoria! I used to live down the block from them in Lido Beach and it was the place to get ice cream. Having one here in Astoria is awesome because I walk here with my dog all the time to grab a cone and continue our walk. Beats other ice cream places that are not dog-friendly.“
“"All the flavors are great. Cookie dough is the greatest." That's a quote from the 6 year old I was watching. She loves this place. I wish there was a vegan option, but I get that it's just a no frills regular ice cream joint and I respect that.“

“Excellent quality - both Italian ice and ice cream - so many flavors to choose from. Probably the best ice on the island. In my personal opinion most flavors beat Ralph’s Italian ice by a mile. Fresher fruit flavors, creamier and more flavorful. Five stars for them from me!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“On the warmest day in forever, the store decided to staff just ONE person to serve what seemed like all of LIC and its kids. “Decent Taiyaki. The interior was a rather unpleasant so I would recommend taking these to-go and eating your taiyaki while exploring williamsburg. The taiyaki itself is fresh and quite good but the soft serve is fairly disappointing. If you're ordering taiyaki and soft serve expect the soft serve to arrive way before the taiyaki is ready.“

“I called this morning and spoke with Maryann about my food allergies. I decided to try 3 Towns Cafe for the first time. It was less than a 20-minute walk from my house. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dessert dates. Soup of The Day *Ask for a sample* Beef Barley Soup + Oyster Crackers: I loosened the tight lid slowly to avoid spilling the soup. The beef barley soup was hearty. Health Shots Hot Shot: The hot shot (2oz) was spicy because of the cayenne and the black pepper. It gave me a good kick. Crêpe or Croffle Ham & Cheese Croffle: The ham & cheese croffle was flaky and yummy. Bakehouse I bought these nut-free baked goods below. Apple Turnover: The apple turnover was flaky and yummy. The apple filling was sweet. Fudge Brownie: The fudge brownie was chocolaty and yummy. Gelato "Last Drop" Gelato Special (Pumpkin Spice) + mini sugar cone: The gelato tasted like a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. This was my favorite. One word: Scrumptious Maryann, thank you for providing excellent customer service! FYI, I downloaded the Clover app to earn rewards! Bookmark this spot to try!“

“This is one of the most aesthetic dessert places I've been to. Great for friends and family to gather, have a chat and get some yummy dessert. I visited in winter so some of the items I.e. durian was served frozen. Most of the items were pretty good, only item I would pass is the mango sticky rice because the rice wasn't sweetened and the sauce on the side did not absorb when poured over.“

“A delicious gelato shop in Williamsburg serving a variety of flavors that rotate.Besides the delicious taste (highly recommend the dark chocolate and melon ~ not necessarily together but individually some of the best flavors), what I really enjoyed was all the allergy information regarding each flavor posted before one reaches the counter.Dietary restrictions: They have a whole board discussing the type of allergies that would be in the food.“

“This is a Gravesend staple, a longstanding once cream store with a friendly staff and delicious products. I’ve been a customer here most of my days and I’ve never had a disappointing experience. There are some vegan flavors, which is nice, but I would call ahead and ask what’s in stock first. There’s a medium sized parking lot and metered parking in the street and the store is large enough to accommodate a few customers that are ordering for take out.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegan (dairy-free) flavors available, but give the store a call to see what’s in stock or if the soft serve machines are functioning. These flavors may rotate seasonally.Dietary restrictions: There are a number of vegan (dairy-free) flavors available, but give the store a call to see what’s in stock or if the soft serve machines are functioning. These flavors may rotate seasonally.Parking: There is a private parking lot behind the store and street parking that is paid/metered.Kid-friendliness: There are always many families present at this location buying ice cream together, and there is beautiful artwork surrounding the building if you look at it from the outside. There are kids birthday cakes and fun toppings/toppers available as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs in this establishment and a single walkway/aisle where you can browse the menu or look into the freezers to see what’s in stock. The only limitation to a wheelchair is reaching out to the top of the counter which would be slightly above the waist-high freezers beneath them. There is a parking lot in the back.“

“After having Anita Gelato, I had to try this place.I waited in a line not nearly as long as AG, and got a large with Tiramisu, Green Pistachio From Bronte, and Caramel Pannacotta.I did take note of their cups and cones encrusted with chocolate and nuts, but did not give that a try.I thought the Tiramisu was probably the best flavor of the three, but I think I chose well. I wish they had seating like AG has, rather than just a giant sales floor. As I'm sure most would be wanting to know how it stands up to AG, I do think I prefer the more imaginative and varied flavors from AG than Venchi, but this is a solid spot for Gelato if you don't want to wait in the kind of line that AG brings.I'll have to discover how well they do Chocolate another time.“
