“My wife and I went for a date night. The atmosphere was great, the decor was amazing. We got there early and sat on one of the couches. The hostess was pleasant and accommodating. We were sat at a table by the window. Our server Sierra was very nice and welcoming. We ordered the poutine for an appetizer. It was amazing, so delicious. There was enough for 4 people. I ordered the pork chop, it was so tender and full of flavor. My wife ordered the Tanglewood chicken. That was amazing. The crispy fried chicken skin and collard greens were so good. The chicken was tender and juicy my wife said. We did not get dessert, I cannot eat too much due to having gastric bypass. We do not drink alcohol so no reviews on their drinks. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful date night.“

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“We had a wonderful dinner on a Thursday evening. We were early so the restaurant was quiet. We loved everything we ate starting with the scotch and wine, the tinned fish appetizer, then the halibut and the steak frites, followed by the lemon raspberry cake and the chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was superbly cooked and beautifully plated. Excellent service. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family.“

“We enjoyed Mother's Day Brunch at Redfield's this morning and it was excellent. They offered a lovely spread of breakfast and lunch items, including an omelette station, french toast bake, fruit, salads, chicken, and incredible freshly baked desserts (truffles, cream pies, bars). Terri, our waitress, was attentive and pleasant and the manager watched over the whole operation carefully. We have gone to other brunches and nothing compares. Other places are crowded and just not very special. We will return to next year.“

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.“

Lots of choices for food and the pizza oven has a variety of tasty pizzas to choose from. Kim DeStefano was the best bartender, quick, efficient and exceptionally friendly. The event room was everything I wanted & could have imagined to celebrate my dad’s 80th. Highly recommend with working with Marie for any parties in the future. “Great place! I was kindly greeted by the sweet girls when I walked in, and they were very accommodating to me and my kids needs. The waitress we had was great and so friendly! She was very helpful and did an amazing job providing us service. The food was delicious as always. “I love this place and I make sure to visit every time I’m in Syracuse. The portions are generous, and the place is extremely satisfying if you’re looking for a sports bar atmosphere. But for now, I’ll stick with the burgers, wings and fries. I tried the “Tipp Dip” Wednesday special recently and although the price was great, I found it very stringy and hard to chew through certain portions. Also, I’m there to watch sports, so I really hope they turn off the news. The situation in our government today is too overcharged and polarized. Many people are very angry, so politics should be avoided in a fun sports bar, IMHO. I come there to ESCAPE politics… to lose myself in live, or even pre-recorded sports action. Other than that, these guys do a fantastic job, and considering how much food they have to prepare so quickly, it’s awe inspiring to watch them in the kitchen!“

“We stopped in for late afternoon drinks on Christmas Eve. We passed so many establishments that were closed we were happy to find an open door with many patrons inside! They are sporting a vast selection of Beers, plus full bar. We enjoyed a variety amongst the four of us between a beer, rose wine for me, martini, and whiskey sours. Was a nice place chat and catch up pre dinner, reminiscent of earlier years at the former PJ Dorsey’s. Friendly enough service with a touch of rye. We had just visited Clayton recently, I’ve included a couple of snap shots of Hop Spot currently closed for season. Someone is peeking out the third story! Love to visit the Clayton location in season, great architecture!“
