“We ordered takeout on Christmas (no table service this evening). The menu was large and had a good amount of variety. Food was ready in under 20 minutes. We liked the mooshu pork, though I wish there had been more pancakes. We also liked the pepper pork, which had a little kick. Fried rice, scallion pancakes, and pork dumplings were standard and solid. There's also a sushi menu, including a cute part of the restaurant with a small communal table with a view of the sushi counter. I'd love to try it sometime.“

“Best KBBQ in New York. The owner is super friendly and often comes to cook the meat at the table himself. The rest of the staff is also pretty attentive. Their Galbi and Jowl is my favorite in all of NY. The Bonchon is always fresh and they are not stingy in what they give. The meat is better than 100% of the KBBQ spots in Ktown and Flushing (I've tried A LOT). It's a little pricier than some of the other spots nearby, and obviously pricier than the AYCE spots - but, for the price it's amazing. My favorite restaurant in all of NYC, KBBQ or otherwise.“

We ordered the sampler for two as advised by the owner Elvis who came around personally to meet everyone and then to ensure everything was going smoothly. I really appreciated the attention and he asked for feedback which further proved they care a lot about customer service! Service stood out to me because everyone was very nice and attentive and I feel that it's hard to find a restaurant who genuinely cares about people enjoying their time. The food was delicious. I'm glad we went with his recommendation because we got to try everything and the portions were perfect for two people- we even took some home! It's also pretty romantic place and has live music which is lovely to enjoy while at dinner. The meal comes with a free wine bottle but he told us we could substitute for anything else we would like such as different drinks or dessert. I would definitely come back multiple times and bring friends! He said it's a family business and everything is freshly made in the back which you could tell because it was magnificent!“

Cheli is a Chinese Restaurant (specifically Shanghainese) located in East Village (Manhattan) and Flushing (Queens). My friend, his girlfriend, and I went to the Flushing Location. According to their website, Che Li presents a distinctive dining experience, weaving together the rich tapestry of Song Dynasty banquet culture with the authentic and sophisticated flavors of Shanghai cuisine. Their culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in the heritage of Jiangnan--a region known for its delicate beauty, culinary finesse, and the origin of Shanghai's gastronomic excellence. Characterized by its subtle yet profound flavors, meticulous preparation, and elegant presentation, their cuisine pays tribute to this heritage while celebrating the refined communal spirit of Song Dynasty feasts. We were all super excited to try! Between the 3 of us, we tried the following: - Wine Soaked Chicken - Crab Meat and Pork Soup Dumplings - Sweet and Sour Crispy Eel - Nine Spiced Rabbit - Hot Stone Braised Rice (mushroom) - Sauteed Water Spinach - Black Sesame Sticky Rice Balls - Rose Lemonade Super fun and feels like an authentic experience. My friend had to order in Chinese - and I obviously pointed to the menu to order since my Chinese skills are limited. Never been to China but I would imagine the decor is pretty representative. “I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. “I visited here during NY restaurant week in January. I chose the set menu for $30 and it was worth it.- Sweet potato coconut soup: delicious, warm & hearty bowl of soup. It was a sweeter kind of soup and super creamy.- Corn bread: deliciousssss! I had to fight with my kid for it. It was fluffy, soft, and so tasty!- Yardbird fried chicken: very crispy chicken that my kid fight me for the crunchy skins! The meat was juicy and flavorful. The mashed potato was good: flavorful & smooth. The collard greens were tasty.I wish that the service would have been better. Our server didn’t check on us and it took a long time for the entree to come after I finished my appetizer. However, I would come back for all the items I tried above!“

“I come here at least once a week and I wouldn't go no where else! The food is always amazing, the servers know how to do their job and even go above and beyond. My favorite part is that no matter how much I eat I never feel sick afterwards. I've dined at plenty of BBQ spots and no matter what the meat makes me feel bloated but not here. “This is my first time at this restaurant. My friend found it for us and he specifically picked it because he heard it had good cocktails. we ordered four different cocktails. All of them were pretty good. I wish I remembered the names of them but the blue cup with the pink outside was one that was my favorite. By far the ceviche was bomb. The guac a little bit of flavor for me, but mixing it with the ceviche made that even pretty darn good. Really enjoyed the fish taco over the other two pictured. we got the Maduros which were fresh and yuka fries. we also got the octopus which I thoroughly enjoyed. The chipotle, shrimp in the pineapple was honestly not my favorite. My friend really enjoyed it as he enjoyed sweet dishes, but it was too sweet for me. Overall, I definitely recommend a place. Definitely get the ceviche and the octopus! And I'm not even a big seafood person to say that. The service was great, and while we were there, the waiter even gave us a shot on the house. “The food is good, even slightly creative. It's a pretty diverse menu, so there's something for everyone. I have two issues, one is a constant: they make a bad drink, I know things are expensive right now, but make me a good non metered drink, it's not like you're not charging me a lot for it. The other was hopefully a one off, the waiter didn't speak English well and my friend asked him a question which he said yes to and when he was served it was completely different, when my friend was like "what's up" the guy mumbled and politely shrugged. That being said I do like this place.“
