“Not only was the food tasty but the team at Dish really know their stuff. Everyone from sales to our onsite Captain was a joy to work with. We selected Dish for bartending and food service.It was refreshing to work with a team that took pride in their service. They came, set up, serviced and cleared the space without a single hiccup. People STILL talk about how good the food was and I'm sure they will for years to come. From the tasting 2-3 months before, you are hidden on-site and try everything that couple is having that wedding night. Most of the options we ended up choosing for our own wedding, too! (pro tip- get the beef lo mein station!!!) Having our cocktail hour food set up for us with our signature drinks the moment our ceremony ended was such a blessing. We ate and giggled and we were simply in awe at how perfect it all was just before freshening up and entering our reception.The staff at the LW executed an absolutely perfect evening and timeline. They coordinated dances and dinner with our band, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be and when, and took care of our parents, grandparents, etc. all day long. From the valet and bathroom attendants, to the coordinators and management, and whoever helped gather my belongings at the end of the night - thank you, THANK YOU, thank you. “Deity was the perfect spot for our non-traditional dark, romantic Friday the 13th October queer wedding! So much about the space and the team there really allows you do only the amount of DIY that YOU want to do.The space itself has beautiful character while still leaving plenty of room for your own personal vibe, and even if you brought literally nothing in it would photograph and feel beautiful. We did NOT do that- we had a huge design dream, and Anna and her team worked with us to make it happen and it was so beautiful! (I will say- keep it simpler than we did lol. Loading out that massive install ON the day was the only big bummer!!)In terms of food and bar- I worked in hospitality for a long time, so REALLY appreciated the ability to choose between an open bar or a consumption tab. Those open bar tabs are usually PADDED, and this transparency and choice was great. Our guests were all super impressed with the food- so much better than what you normally get at a catered wedding reception. Do the family style option! And again, they had everything set up to totally handle specialty cocktail menus, or are willing to let you come up with your own.The getting ready suite is an absolute MUST. SO MUCH SPACE, so many photo ops, and a HOT TUB?! Yes please.Anna and Caio are absolute pros and made our whole process really, really fun. I got sad when it was over mostly cause it meant I wasn't gonna see them until I could come up with another excuse to throw a party there!“

“Thank you so much to the chefs and staff of Food Trends for a really delicious luncheon for the staff and faculty at our professional school yesterday, a party of 80+. We did a "themed menu" and the chicken, fish, and vegetables were all delicious. So often the vegetable dishes and sides are afterthoughts but the beans and potatoes were scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they brought cards that identified the food items and indicated if the food was vegan, gluten free, etc. (most caterers haven't done that in my experience). The staff who dropped off the food were prompt and friendly. And Kelly, rep from the catering team who assisted me with the order, was helpful and responsive. All around I had an exceptional experience with Food Trends.“

“TipsyScoop was so much fun! I attended the SundaeMaking class where we made two sundaes: The Tequila Sunrise and the Whiskey Dreams. They provide all of the materials and you get to leave with a tipsy scoop glass! I honestly enjoyed sampling every flavor in the store, just as much as creating the sundaes. Tipsy scoop is known for having the highest alcohol content in their ice cream and this was not a lie. I definitely felt a little buzz when I left but overall it was such a fun experience. I did it as a solo date, but would highly recommend this as something to do with friends or as a couple. Make sure you try every flavor even if it sounds like it's something that you wouldn't like. My favorite flavors were the Coquito Dulce De Leche, Oreo Old Fashioned, Vanilla Bean Bourbon and the Gingerbread Martini. I'm planning to head back for another class in March. 10/10 recommend!“

To start he was very responsive, very accommodating, we set a date and time, we selected our menu and we paid deposit.Day of my wife’s birthday (who just gave birth 3 weeks ago) he showed up on time, walked into the kitchen as if he has been in our home 18 times, found everything he needed to find and got to work asap. We were ready on time and so was he. Everything he cooked in our kitchen was delicious, we enjoyed every dish!Chef David was friendly, approachable accommodating. He brought his own dishes to serve us with which was great. He washed everything he used, he cleaned the kitchen stove and the kitchen counters. I had the chopped liver half sandwich and pastrami on the other half, both on rye. Really tasty although the pastrami tasted slightly less authentic than it was at Ben’s last year. The decor is really nice and definitely a winner in midtown.“

Was it a café? A front? Even better, one of the better burgers I’ve had in NYC, on par with at least 4 Charles. It’s hard to find a lamb burger in the city, let alone a good one. Very fresh ingredients. Very tasty. They do deliver! Ask for chipotle mayo on the side. This is the normcore of food. Unassuming, minimal, no signs out front - but excellent aesthetics and execution for what matters. Even their name—literally “Company” —is hard to search for, perhaps on purpose so this place doesn’t get flooded with crowds...“

I was planning to have Pistache NYC cater my New Year's Eve party since he came so so highly recommended. I spoke to Yvan multiple times with many changes, where he had to draw up new menus which he did without any objection. It turned out I had to cancel due to medical reasons. He was so gracious, not only refunded all the money although I had insisted he keep a portion since I had to cancel, HE ASKED FOR MY ADDRESS AND DROPPED OFF A BOUCHE NOEL!!!!!I am in awe of Pistache NYC and Yvan Bedouet and can not wait to have them cater my next party.Thank you“

“Time for a recent review. Been here several times over the last few year. Always ordered the same: 8 dozen meat kreplach - frozen, to go of course. (lol!). Why 8? Price = $15 per dozen for a total of $120. Anyway, they are totally delicious. We put them in soup or air fry them and serve with duck sauce or chili sauce for a quick snack at home. Note- they are closed on Sundays in the Summer. Call ahead to check hours.“
