“Had take out twice: We have found our perfect onion rings! Giant onion rings lightly battered, so lightly battered that each bite created an earth shattering crunch. Absolutely gorgeous dipped in malt vinegar. The halibut. The dear halibut, so velvety and flaky cradled within the golden batter. A decent trifle, and mushy peas would embrace some seasoning. Disappointingly, the calamari did not meet expectation, as it left quite a fishy aftertaste, as well the chips; I had hoped a chip place would have better chips. The chips were overly cooked, to where the chips were dry. The atmosphere sets the perfect pub like ambiance. The packaging is excellent for take-out where the paper ware lets food stay crisp.“

“We were a large party. I got the brie and avo Benny and my hollandaise sauce was cold.The classic Benny was great. The salad is nice. The home fries were the frozen variety but apparently they are supposed to ask you which potatoes you want. I would have much preferred the potatoes with onion, So my meal was not optimal.The classic breakfast was great.Another peron got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was wayyy overcooked and the portion was too small.“

“My first time trying Amy’s Fish and Chips was on Good Friday, and man were they busy- as expected. Family owned, fair prices, and great portions. The staff here were busy but still provided great customer service. My only feedback would be that the side salads could use larger dressing cups but overall, a great experience.“

“Best fish and chips I've had. Closest by far to proper irish fish and chips and even have curry sauce! The chips in Toronto tend to be a little different than back home but these were on point both texture and flavour wise. Will be back. Get some battered sausages and mushy peas and we will be back every week hahaha.“

First time visitors and we had a great meal and all! Thank you! Just a note if someone orders a Guinness can you please serve them in the appropriate Guinness glass. “Very candidly I’m not sure what so many of these bad reviews are about. My partner and I go here occasionally when we need to go to the metro. We stop in and have late lunch. They have daily deals, which are super well priced. The food comes out quick and the portions are quite large. I have never been able to finish the fish and chips. They give you all the tartar sauce you want. It’s very clean and well maintained. The servers are friendly and try hard. Overall it’s a good place to eat two people $45 all in with tip. It’s pretty decent and considering the alternative like a pub that has fish and chips. This is significantly better.Kid-friendliness: You can definitely bring children here. Plenty of seating and they have a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are wide and there is a ramp. The restaurant is all on one level and there is an ample dining room. The bathroom is very tight though so while not completely accessible this restaurant is almost there.“

Food was delicious, the fish was perfectly cooked. Four other groups of customers came in after us and the service was consistently good. Several were repeat customers who were recognized. We will be back.Parking: There is one spot reserved for customers. We had no trouble finding parking.“
“The food was great. I got a medium rare steak, it was very tender and juicy, and their waffle fry poutine is so savoury and filling. We had Jasmine as our server and she was so sweet! Very accommodating and had such a kind vibe to her. The inside is very cozy and the prices are excellent as well :)“
