“Stopped by on a whim to make sure I tried some Oregon wines while I was visiting Portland. I had a wonderful time and tried some delicious wines. Met the owners who were as nice as could be. I ordered a flight of three wines and also ordered the olives. the wines were very good, and the olives were so good I had to ask what kinds they were. Seems like a great place to enjoy some wine and food. I wish I could've stayed longer and gone back another time. They also have a bottle shop attached so if you find one you really like you can take it home with you.”

“Had Camila’s for the first time today and I tried the Carne Asada burrito and a Al Pastor taco. They were both very good. The asada burrito had a very good amount of meat and was seasoned well. The Al Pastor is the best I’ve had around the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Aloha area! The owners working the truck were very friendly and you could tell they liked what they were doing. Highly recommend!”

Only thing is, the place can get a little noisy when crowded, a booth in the back is best for conversation.”

“We had a wonderful meal at decarli last night for our anniversary. The short ribs truly deserve the hype, we were blown away. The seafood pasta was amazing as well. Cocktails were well balanced with good variety. My partner loves classic cocktails and I love unique ones and they had a selection of both. He was a big fan of the walnut bitters old fashioned. We split a steak tartare appetizer and a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. Our server was very warm and attentive despite the busy restaurant, and our food came out quickly. This was our first time at decarli and we left with a very positive first impression. Great atmosphere, romantic without feeling stuffy. I am confused by some of the reviews- who cares it’s in a strip mall? Parking was easy and it’s not like we’re in NYC, it’s Beaverton we’re talking about. 10 years ago the whole town was basically a strip mall. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.”

The Beav is lucky to have a hip spot serving up fantastic food. I had lunch here with my mom and loved sharing a bunch of stuff.

Shrimp cocktail is unique and delicious. We also enjoyed the broccoli Cobb salad, steam burgers, and garlic fries.

There is a small parking lot and I recommend reservations, although we didn’t need them on the slow November day we visited.”

“I am giving 5 stars because of the amazing service I received from Vickie. She made the best sandwich I have ever had from subway and was so friendly . She was handling the counter by herself ,, I don't know where her co workers were but while she was making my sandwich a party of 6 came in and online orders kept pouring in and she didn't miss a beat. She was fast and efficient and her friendly attitude made my day. Finally subway hired someone that knows how to make a sandwich and under pressure at that. If you want a good sandwich go in when Vickie is working.”

It took awhile to get our order but was worth the wait. They were doing the best they could. Tacos were yummy & cereal donut holes.”

“Whenever I come to Oregon to visit family, I always try to eat here. Honestly one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve gone to, the food was IMMACULATE. So good. You can taste the pure authenticity and flavor in their food. The servers are really sweet and kind, some of the nicest I’ve had. This small family owned store felt so cozy and warm like a blanket, it was nice, and felt like being in Japan again. The only thing that people might not like about this is the long wait, but honestly it’s worth it, and I also personally don’t mind. Great place, should try it sometime :)”

“Very kind and accommodating for my Gluten free needs. Even brought me my own GF soy sauce pot. Beautiful presentation of food and very good food and fresh fish. For GF I did the special on the board of K-skewers chicken no sauce, a veggie roll that they left one thing off that wasn't GF, and a Hawaiian roll. Hubby got a couple other rolls that were great. The wasabi has a pretty good kick to it LOL the ginger is really good.”

I had excellent Enchiladas de Mole along with a very good Cadillac Margarita and finished with excellent freshly made churros for dessert! Also the chips, salsa and guacamole are very good. Chips come out warm after they make them to order with fresh salsa. They have different salsas on request. I will definitely be back!! I forgot to mention the service was prompt and friendly!”

“I was looking for a new coffee from a local place and I stumbled upon thortons. Great little place with a walk up window. I purchased a couple bags of beans and took home to try. This is one of the most amazing roasts I've tried. it's definitely in my rotation now.”

Donut King initially a little apprehensive, but the second you walk into the store you realize yeah this is definitely the king of donuts. At least 30 different varieties of donut. And the fact they are all Displayed in a showcase right in front for the see!!
Are you vegan? Are you gluten-free as my partner happens to be? They have donuts for both and last I checked this is the only donut place in town that has gluten-free donuts and vegan donuts within the west side..

It was our first time in and it was busy, but it seemed unexpected because the staff was a bit overwhelmed, so I don't know what a regular Tuesday afternoon looks like! Staff was kind and helpful, and our broccoli quiches and sweet chai lattes were delicious. We didn't wait long, even with a big line. We were cozy on their love seats, and had lots of other seating options to choose from. They also have outdoor seating for nice days. “When I visit Portland, I make a point of dining at the so‑called must‑try restaurants, but most of them end up being disappointing. However, this place—located on the second floor of a Korean market—is very simple yet surprisingly delicious. Whenever I go to G Mart to pick up sale items, I usually stop here for a meal.
The food here is much better than at Jeju, Hanok, or other Korean restaurants. Another advantage is that after finishing your meal, you can conveniently do your grocery shopping right downstairs. The prices are reasonable, and most of the menu items taste excellent. This is definitely a place I recommend.”

It’s close to home, they have indoor and outdoor seating, the people there are really nice (especially Amy, who always tries to have a stout or 2 on tap), and my dog feels so relaxed here (sitting outside of course). It’s just a cozy local hangout, and they have cool events all the time. A lot of my favorite bars and restaurants have closed since the start of Covid, so I really hope people help support this place so they’re able to stick around a long time.”

“Excellent mexican food. Got #9 Birria plate and a #10 QuesaBirria Taco (3) plate. Lots of food provided in each of the plates! The Birria plate had at least 1/2-3/4 pounds of chuck roast, along with servings of mexican rice and pinto beans, radish slices, lime wedges and 4 good sized flour tortillas. The QuesaBirria Tacos were comprised of 3 regular sized tacos with a large pint of birria consome and radish slices and lime wedges. The taco tortillas had been dunked in birria sauce properly. The birria meat and t
was tender, the consome flavorful and nothing overly salty. Food definitely scratch made and not processed or frozen premade. Food staid hot for the 20 minutes it took for me to get to a spot where I could get a cold one to drink with it. Then, I was too hungry to take photos of the food before digging in. Definitely a very good spot for Mexican food, especially birria.”

We were originally seated on the restaurant side and when we asked about the happy hour menu we were moved to the bar area. There were no tables available but we were told we could sit at the bar until a table became available. A table freed up, so we moved to it. No sooner did we sit down when a woman (the bar hostess?) approached us and said we couldn’t sit there that it was for another group. We explained that we were told to wait at the bar for a table to free up, and she said we needed to tell her. We didn’t know about her, so why would we tell her? Even the bartender didn’t know we needed to go through her to sit at a table. It just felt to me like nobody knew what the procedures were except this one woman. She was rude and I will think twice about going there again. On a positive note, all other staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly and the food was wonderful. They have a really good happy hour menu at really good prices.”

“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.”

“This was our first time at this location, but from the moment we arrived, The host Lali greeted us with genuine excitement and warmth.

She immediately made us feel welcomed and through our visit took the time to let us know about their current gift card promotion where we could receive an extra $25 in bonus bucks with our purchase. Since we visit Red Robin often, the offer was perfect for us, and we really appreciated that she took the initiative to share it as it was the first we heard of it although this was our 3rd time at RR this week. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and helpfulness set a great tone for our visit and this is why i gave this location 5 stars.”

“I'm a very picky boba consumer, but this place is top notch. I come here all the time!! The foams are wonderful, especially banana and ube.
I have two suggestions for improvement:
1: Please get decaf coffee!! If you had decaf I would have to start direct depositing part of my paycheck to you cause I would come so often. I want those awesome coffee drinks in the afternoon!
2: Recently you switched to pebble ice. Please switch back to regular! The ice peices are so small that they get sucked up my boba straw, which is not pleasant and makes it really hard to drink foam or finish my drink without getting mouthfuls of ice. I think there's a reason I've never been to another boba place that has pebble ice.”

“Stopped in for the first time, partly drawn in by the outdoor patio. Got the Teriyaki Titan sandwich and was not disappointed. The chicken itself had a great flavor and complimented the rest of the sandwich very well. The egg rolls were fantastic. The filled with great, and they were very crispy. The tots had a great flavor, especially with the sweet chili garlic sauce on top (shout out Luke for the fantastic suggestion!). Everything was prepared fresh and came out hot.

The place itself is really nice. The patio has a nice fire pit and is kept nice and clean. There are a few pinball machines that can be played inside, as well as a variety of art supplies and a few board/card games. Very chill spot, great food, fantastic service.”
