“Our first experience here, popping in on a rainy Saturday evening. Despite the warm, welcoming interior, the first thing we noticed was how loud the restaurant was. Full capacity with a crowded bar does not need loud music playing! It was exceedingly difficult having a conversation with my partner, we actually gave up and people watched.Food was great! We enjoyed our bacon wrapped figs and goat cheese appetizers. The Tips & Shrimp and short rib pasta entrees were great as were the house-made beignets.The awesome hostess was as doing quadruple duty as Villanova students are one Spring break. She didn’t miss a beat taking our drink and food orders, filling our water and making sure we were enjoying our meal.“

“I love the place in general and the fact that they organize all sorts of events and that they have LIVE JAZZ on some days of the week. Unfortunately, the food is only good not great (hence the 4 stars). Also, the waiting staff could be a little more attentive, although everyone is super friendly.“

“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.“

“Who knew there was a place like this in Ridley park?!? The food was exquisite and rivaled any of the top Philly and nyc restaurants. We had the charred broccoli, beet starter, scallops, salmon, chocolate mousse and pistachio cake. Each dish was perfect! The portions are just right so you don’t leave over stuffed (and you really do need room for dessert!). Great bar cocktails and mocktails. Pricing was just right considering the high level of the cuisine. Delicious and beautiful presentation. Our server Joey was just the right mix of attentive and friendly without being annoying. Love this place!!! Great for date night, special occasions, or just dinner with friends. I’ll be back!“

“Really great, inventive haute cuisine real Mexican; well executed thoughtfully prepared. Might have slipped a bit since my initial visit, but that could just be me being super impressed first go-around. Quite noisy on the weekends, be prepared to wait for your cocktails.“

“Great place to enjoy a lovely meal. It can get busy on weekends so, reservations are recommended. The outside tables are nice but can be too close to each other. Drinks are nice, reasonably priced and the food is delicious for the most part. We enjoyed everything but thought the sauteed calamari were a bit overrated. Will go back for brunch.“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“Awesome mexican restaurant in Fairmount! The restaurant looks small from the front but stretches back into really fun dining room. There is a patio option that would be great on a sunny day. The staff was very friendly and personable. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did make a reservation beforehand. Our waitress made the recommendation for the Baja tacos and they did not disappoint (9/10) The carnitas tacos were excellent (9/10). We also started with the guacamole sampler, which comes with house chips and salsa. The plain guac was just average, but both the street corn and the spicy tuna guacamole were amazing. My friend and I split a margarita pitcher and they were great! A little sweet but perfectly strong. Easily 4 drinks in a pitcher. Overall this place is great for a first date, catching up with friends, or just some amazing food. Cantina Feliz will definitely be added into my regular rotation.“

“I have been going here since they opened. I really do love the food, drinks, and the fun interior. The service however always leaves something to be desired. The people are friendly but absent. I often have to wait to even be asked if I want a drink let alone food to start. I am not sure if it is a problem with not enough staff or inexperienced staff. Overall, the staff needs to be more attentive to customers. The music choices are completely fine but please, please turn it down. I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 bc there really is so much potential here. Bottom line, increase attentiveness and decrease the music volume and we got a phenomenal restaurant!“

“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“

“We reserved 333 Belrose for a funeral luncheon for 30 people. From the first contact, Steve was extremely accommodating. The food was excellent, prepared to order & the service was impeccable. We could not have asked for anything more. We can't wait to go back!“

“A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. They also allow guests to bring food, so you can cozy up with a drink and some bites and hang out late into the night (which we have done many times!)Vegetarian options: Almost all drinks are vegetarian, and vegan milk alternatives are available upon request.“

“A fantastic spot for a drink and a bite. Easy to settle in and have conversation with great music and wonderful service. The drinks were AMAZING. I highly recommend the Spiced and Spicy - a beautifully warm, ginger tasting cocktail. My girlfriend had the Espresso Martini and said it was fantastic. A must stop spot if you're in Ambler.“

“SCK hosted a big group of us for a book club and everything went so smoothly! They were supper friendly, accommodating, got us in and out easily without rushing us, were super organized, and the food and drinks were amazing!!! I hope we can host every book club meeting here! 10/10“

“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“

The team there from the top and throughout are pleasant, accommodating and help to create a relaxed environment. The patrons are the same. “This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:Awesome cheesy garlic flatbread; very good half bbq chicken; best French dip ever; awesome fries; very good burgers; excellent sweet potato tots with marshmallow sauce; very good pizza; very good Caesar (get extra dressing); awesome Cherry Coke ribs; excellent pulled pork; great chips (get side of bbq); amazing toffee dessert.The staff is amazing. “The staff and owner are nice folks. Prices are fair and reasonable in this current economy. Food was solid, the French Onion Soup Dumplings were solid. Steak was solid. The cocktails were generally not my style, I prefer mezcals/bourbons/whiskey bases, but the flavor profile was solid; the Drunk Text was the winner. It’s a nice addition to the neighborhood. I’ll be interested to see how they grow in the near future.It would be nice to see a Point Breeze cocktail bar crawl between Dock Street, El Mezcal, Insatiable, Madira and other spots … the local spots could benefit from something like a city-wide competition (shot + beer + app). I would like to see more collaboration between our neighborhood’s restaurants“

“My husband and I had such a fun time here! We stopped in for drinks before our dinner reservation. The guys behind the bar were so much fun, and really helpful. I described what type of drinks I like, and they came up with recommendations for me. This place is a great addition to Lancaster Ave! “A fun event. Good food on sale. Good drink variety on sale. The garden was lovely and tucked under a rail line. Parking wasn't terrible (for Manayunk). The event was well run: lots of give aways, activities and all in a cute location.“

“I am the traveler. The Black Horse is a local watering hole. Clientele is very diverse and changes through the day. Very busy for sport games and very good pool players, which is perfect if you want a respectable game. The food is very good and cooked to order. And you the pricing is great. The bathroom is clean. The food was amazing and delicious, well presented and cooked perfectly. We had oysters, the Roka beet salad, langoustines, lamb chops and greek cheesecake. It was an incredible meal. It is a beautiful place, however the high level of noise made it difficult initially to have a conversation. Our reservation was for 7:15. By 8:15, several tables had finished their meal and left making it much more enjoyable to have a conversation. We will be back!“

“We've always enjoyed coming here with the whole family. We came looking to make a reservation for an upcoming event. Manager Zee, Michael-owner, the chef, and all staff were all fantastic. The place has really been revamped since our last visit. The ambience is beautiful, the lounge is cozy, the bar looks very well set up, including the fireplace. The food was really tasty, just right portions and priced just right..complements to the chef! Looking forward to having a fab night again soon!“
