“This is the third time my girlfriend, and I have been here, and all I can say is, YOU don't have to drive over the stupid Washington Bridge to go to Federal Hill, or Cranston, to get excellent Italian food. I don't mean to disrespect, but Spaghetti Lane does it right. Every dish I have tried has been flavorful, and great portions. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. She had the chicken/eggplant parm, and J had the veal parm. I do suggest making a reservation, because seating is very limited in this establishment, which I think is fine. It's more quaint, and not noisy, which I like. Overall, I highly recommend the Carbonara, and Parmigiana.“

“We recently went to Pianta in Providence Rhode Island, one of our favorite plant-based restaurants and a very special gathering place for Missy and I. A huge shout-out to Chef Michelle, you made our night genuinely fulfilling with your exquisite yet simple plant-based goodness. Thank you for the good work you do in our world and for proving that you can eat joyfully and plant-based simultaneously!! You are soooo worth the 90 minute drive to visit with you. We appreciate you! Kate Forest and Missy Doe“

“I recently hosted my sister's baby shower at Maria's Cucina, and it was such an excellent experience! Chris, the owner, scheduled several phone calls with me to ensure we had everything planned to perfection prior to the day, which was especially appreciated as I was planning from out of state. Chris was always kind and professional on our calls, and had great menu recommendations - especially considering our group had unique dietary needs (vegetarian and gluten free). The day of the shower, the staff was also extremely kind, professional, warm, accommodating, and so helpful. The food was delicious (we had an antipast platter and salads to start; our entrees were gluten free carbonara, eggplant parm with pasta, and a chicken parm sandwich with french fries; dessert options were creme brulee (DELICIOUS), tiramisu, lemon cake, and cannolis) , and highly complimented by everyone in attendance. I would host an event here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to Chris, and all of the staff!“

“We popped in here for an app and drink prior to another reservation, and never wanted to leave! Michael at the bar was so wonderful -- he was kind, knowledgable, and had the perfect service timing. The restaurant seemed great, but Michael is what took it over the top. Thanks for your service, Mike!!!“

“We had Easter dinner and the food was fabulous. For appetizers my wife had the artichoke franchise and I had the shrimp franchise, both were out of this world. Entree’s included The Veal Saltimbucca, Baked Stuffed Shrimp, again both excellent along with two of the signature cocktails. You have to try the smoked old fashion, incredibly smooth and unique. I have eaten here a number of times and always find the experience rewarding. Will be back!“

“If you haven’t stopped into the Italian Corner, make a point of it! We were only 8 minutes from our hotel but after getting FOUR sandwiches for the 2 of us on Sunday 4/7; I’d drive farther!! This place was featured on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dive’s and I can see why it was recommended for the show. The team that works here is hardworking and incredibly helpful. I’d like to bottle up their kindness and spread it around. Good Job Team!! The owner – a pure delight!! We did eat one there, as recommended to not wait; good night, it was off the chart, de-li-cious! The Mortadella on Focaccia (#1), I think we need to go back to get a few for the plane ride home. The focaccia is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The Mortadella is some of the best I have had. Major flavor and balance throughout. Monday, we ate one on the way to our next adventure – the Brasato (#25) (which was featured on triple D) and the owner’s go to when he’s hungry. Instead of using the salsa verde dressing it’s the salsa rossa dressing which is the verde plus sundried tomato’s and I can see why people as for that substitution on other sandwiches. Pares beautifully with the beef, fresh lettuce and house made sub buns. My only question, why did we get the small (ha). The (#16), Combo, is a beautiful blend of Ham, Salami, Capicola hot (but not too hot) provolone, fresh lettuce, and tomato. The provolone is not too overpowering. Our least fav, can we say least fav if we ate the whole thing? Lol. Still incredible was the Bresaola (#19), Cured beef tenderloin, truffle oil, arugula, shaved parmigiano. Next time in Providence this will definitely be a place we stop! It’s worth a trip back. Check them out! #ProvidenceRI #GoodFood #ItalianFood #ItalianSubs“

“Outstanding restaurant! We had the Chicken Portofino, the roasted carrot soup, and the limoncello tiramisu for desert. Our server Shannon recommended the entre and all was absolutely amazing. Tremendous menu that I am certain would not disappoint no matter what the dish. This place is a bit difficult to find. It does not look like the culinary gem that it is from the outside, but absolutely worth the search! *********+++++++“

“Ordered a take out order for my girlfriend and I. I ended up messing up the order and went to the restaurant and ordered what I was supposed to. I talked to Jordyn and told them I messed up my pregnant girlfriend’s order. They put a rush on the 2nd order and they took great care of us. Food was delicious, we got the gluten free chicken Alfredo and gluten free chicken parm. Will 100% be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta and breaded chicken was fantastic.“

“Hands down the best chicken parm ever; my go to!! I caved and tried the lasagna because it looked so good-- covered in a pink vodka bolognese sauce with chunks of meat. Yum!! My bf said the veal parm was the best he'd ever had. Even the bread and aioli was awesome. A sweet hostess and multiple servers meant we wanted for nothing throughout our amazing dining experience. We were surprised how good the prices were in this economy too. Can't wait to come back! Free valet, so if you're worried about parking, don't!“

“Amazing food and experience. Their menu is fluid and every option is unique - made it tough to pick given how appealing everything sounded. Wife and I enjoyed the Mac Daddy burger, Odeum chicken sandwich, and a King Street Steak Tip sandwich because it was too tempting. Our sever Nicole was amazing, and manager John was incredibly nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back here.“
“1st time eating here. Service was very good. Food was good, large portions. My swordfish was slightly overcooked, but not bad. The rest of my party enjoyed their dinners. My biggest complaint was the strange seating. We had a party of six, they had a bench seat for 3 of us and chairs for the other 3. The strange part was the table for 2 set right on top of us. 1 person on the bench, 1 in a chair. Just felt very crowded. Overall a very pleasant dinner.“

“Came in during college visits with my son and we were so happy to have such an incredible meal start to finish!!! Great atmosphere with river views. Might be in my top 3 all-time meal experiences! We started with calamari, the bread and olive oil were perfect, my son had the Bolognese with just a perfect hint of fennel, and my ricotta cavatelli was superb, not too creamy and pasta was perfection… we finished our meal with the apple tart with crispy crust, and just the perfect amount of sweetness with the crèm anglaise! 1 million thanks for a perfect evening!!“

“What’s NOT to love about Anglelo’s? It’s a Federal Hill institution for a reason - great food and family atmosphere, warm and welcoming servers, and now with big beautiful windows overlooking Atwells Ave for that indoor-outdoor experience. And while it may be “old-school,” it continues to innovate - any restaurant that caters to gluten-free diners always goes to the tops of my list!“
“My family and I had dinner here and it was just as close as you’re going to get to dining in Italy. The food is imported from Italy and they have an amazing wine menu, all coming from small vineyards in Italy. There’s no other authentic Italian wine bar on federal hill, and it’s perfect for wine tasting and trying all their amazing Italian small plates. They also have a market next door where you can buy the wines and food you ate! Luigi the manager was also excellent and gave great menu recommendations. Will definitely be back it’s truly an underrated spot on the hill.“

I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. “Very solid spot for dinner if you're in the area. Not mind blowing but good! Had the Greek style salad that was good but a bit overdressed and a bit heavy on vinegar for my taste. Pasta was cooked well (had the bolognese). Portions quite sizeable! Easy to make a reservation and service was prompt and the right level of attentiveness.“

“What a find! Was looking for a good restaurant for lunch in Bristol and found Brick, which it seems only recently started opening for lunch. The smell from the road of brick oven pizza lured me in:). The atmosphere is awesome, a big roomy old industrial building that feels almost like a tap room - while it was lunch, I didn't get a chance to dig into the beer list but they have a huge and well appointed bar. Our server, Haley, was friendly, personable, and shared that all the ingredients are local. She even gave us the tip to warm left over pizza up in an air fryer to keep it crisp! Had the pizza of the day, Fig & Prosciutto, and the Shroom pizzas and total amazing-fest. Delicious, thin crispy crust with a sophisticated taste. Without question will be back and happy to recommend Brick to anyone in the area or passing through - try them for lunch as was a light crowd, fast service, and selfishly I want them to stay open for lunch forever!“
“Located in the heart of Garden City which is always a fun place to visit with family and friends, my spouse and I went into Avivo with no expectations. On a Friday evening, the restaurant was busy but there wasn't any wait. We got a spot at the bar, and our bartender was really friendly and attentive. We ordered a few drinks and dinner. I had an espresso martini which was delicious. They had a great selection of wine and the bartender found one my wife really enjoyed. The food was great, I had a chicken caesar salad and the Mrs had a wrap that I did not try but she thought it had great taste and was very fresh. Would love to come back and try more food soon. Definitely found this to be a great place for a night out.“

“A hidden gem! Twin Oaks offers what many restaurants no longer do. The minute you walk in, you are met by a well-dressed, friendly host. The wait for seating is never too long, as they have plenty of it. The waitstaff is also dressed quite professional, allowing the atmosphere to be as fancy or as laid back as you need it to be. The menu has much to choose from, and anything I've ever ordered from here has been delicious. The portions are quite big, and they even offer half orders of many items. I recently got a steak that was cooked to perfection. The side offerings are always delicious, and they even had beets, which my husband and daughter both happen to love. My sons got half orders. One had the chicken parm, and the other had the spaghetti and meatball. They were both delicious, and they still had leftovers! For all of this, including wonderful service, the prices are still very reasonable. This place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, brings me back to when restaurants were run by families for families, and dining out was made to feel like a special occasion. Twin Oaks is a dying breed, and I hope they never change!“

There is also ample seating in the dining area to enjoy the yum yums on site! Pastry counter offers a solid selection of treats, which will pair wonderfully with the perfect espresso! “Finally got around to trying out the new Barrington location and it was nothing short of amazing! We got there on a rainy Sat night - called ahead to see if they took reservations but were told no and that there should be no wait. We got there shortly after and were promptly seated and serviced. The new spot is def a few steps up from the old spot - updated, modern and airy. Meaghan was our waitress and was wonderful - as was all the staff. It was outstanding friendly service and efficient all at the same time. We started with the loaded tater tots and the octopus special. The octopus was cooked wonderfully and the tots were a fun appetizer to share - reminds me of my elementary school lunch if I was Richie Rich. But the spotlight goes to our entrees - I got the chicken parm with fresh rigatoni and the pink vodka sauce and he ordered veal parm with fresh bucatini and pink vodka sauce (how unoriginal ). Both were delicious! I love me a good vodka sauce and fresh pasta - my rigatoni was maybe 20 seconds short of being al dente but I'd prefer a tad harder vs soggy floppy pasta. The bucatini however was perfecto! The mister said it was one of the best veal parms he's ever had and that's a tall order to fill! All drinks were creative and tasty! And with how delicious dinner was, we had to get some dessert and they didn't disappoint! We were way too full and took the rest of dessert to go. With the nightmare that is the Washington Bridge debacle - this is a great place to support more locally, you won't be disappointed! No need to go to the Hill for some good Italian (they do serve up Portuguese fare as well) when we've got a great spot in our backyard! With apps, drinks, dinner and dessert - tax + tip was close to $200 but well worth every penny!“
