“It was a tasty and lovely experience. Great local joint with good service. Solid selection of Italian/Greek lunch and dinner options. They're also a favorite of my wife's family, so I look forward to coming back here when I'm in town!EDIT: Went back the next day, and the specials were to die for. I'd go a third day if we were still in town ?Vegetarian options: Cheesy goodness available, as well as a pretty good veggie sandwich. Fries are delicious here!“
“We recently went to Pianta in Providence Rhode Island, one of our favorite plant-based restaurants and a very special gathering place for Missy and I. A huge shout-out to Chef Michelle, you made our night genuinely fulfilling with your exquisite yet simple plant-based goodness. Thank you for the good work you do in our world and for proving that you can eat joyfully and plant-based simultaneously!! You are soooo worth the 90 minute drive to visit with you. We appreciate you! Kate Forest and Missy Doe“
“Dined here recently . First time eating here and to say we were happy is an understatement . Food was good but the service was second to none . Our waiter Jason was one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Vert knowledgeable and personable . Seemed to have a great feel and timing for the flow of the restaurant . Dessert we had the mocha cheesecake which was just alright . Will definitely be back“
“went in for the first time and definitely will be going a lot more the chicken tenders are huge and their salads are so good and quality and flavors ect is definitely worth the money first place I’ve been to that matches quality and amounts and prices exactly definitely will be trying again“
“I was impressed by service of this restaurant, we were sitting on the bar and Harold was so attentive and helpful, the food was so good, wine and the cocktail “purple rain” was my favorite, I definitely recommend to visit this amazing place “
“I recently hosted my sister's baby shower at Maria's Cucina, and it was such an excellent experience! Chris, the owner, scheduled several phone calls with me to ensure we had everything planned to perfection prior to the day, which was especially appreciated as I was planning from out of state. Chris was always kind and professional on our calls, and had great menu recommendations - especially considering our group had unique dietary needs (vegetarian and gluten free). The day of the shower, the staff was also extremely kind, professional, warm, accommodating, and so helpful. The food was delicious (we had an antipast platter and salads to start; our entrees were gluten free carbonara, eggplant parm with pasta, and a chicken parm sandwich with french fries; dessert options were creme brulee (DELICIOUS), tiramisu, lemon cake, and cannolis) , and highly complimented by everyone in attendance. I would host an event here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to Chris, and all of the staff!“
“We popped in here for an app and drink prior to another reservation, and never wanted to leave! Michael at the bar was so wonderful -- he was kind, knowledgable, and had the perfect service timing. The restaurant seemed great, but Michael is what took it over the top. Thanks for your service, Mike!!!“
“We had Easter dinner and the food was fabulous. For appetizers my wife had the artichoke franchise and I had the shrimp franchise, both were out of this world. Entree’s included The Veal Saltimbucca, Baked Stuffed Shrimp, again both excellent along with two of the signature cocktails. You have to try the smoked old fashion, incredibly smooth and unique. I have eaten here a number of times and always find the experience rewarding. Will be back!“
“If you haven’t stopped into the Italian Corner, make a point of it! We were only 8 minutes from our hotel but after getting FOUR sandwiches for the 2 of us on Sunday 4/7; I’d drive farther!! This place was featured on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dive’s and I can see why it was recommended for the show. The team that works here is hardworking and incredibly helpful. I’d like to bottle up their kindness and spread it around. Good Job Team!! The owner – a pure delight!! We did eat one there, as recommended to not wait; good night, it was off the chart, de-li-cious! The Mortadella on Focaccia (#1), I think we need to go back to get a few for the plane ride home. The focaccia is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The Mortadella is some of the best I have had. Major flavor and balance throughout. Monday, we ate one on the way to our next adventure – the Brasato (#25) (which was featured on triple D) and the owner’s go to when he’s hungry. Instead of using the salsa verde dressing it’s the salsa rossa dressing which is the verde plus sundried tomato’s and I can see why people as for that substitution on other sandwiches. Pares beautifully with the beef, fresh lettuce and house made sub buns. My only question, why did we get the small (ha). The (#16), Combo, is a beautiful blend of Ham, Salami, Capicola hot (but not too hot) provolone, fresh lettuce, and tomato. The provolone is not too overpowering. Our least fav, can we say least fav if we ate the whole thing? Lol. Still incredible was the Bresaola (#19), Cured beef tenderloin, truffle oil, arugula, shaved parmigiano. Next time in Providence this will definitely be a place we stop! It’s worth a trip back. Check them out! #ProvidenceRI #GoodFood #ItalianFood #ItalianSubs“
“Outstanding restaurant! We had the Chicken Portofino, the roasted carrot soup, and the limoncello tiramisu for desert. Our server Shannon recommended the entre and all was absolutely amazing. Tremendous menu that I am certain would not disappoint no matter what the dish. This place is a bit difficult to find. It does not look like the culinary gem that it is from the outside, but absolutely worth the search! *********+++++++“
“Ordered a take out order for my girlfriend and I. I ended up messing up the order and went to the restaurant and ordered what I was supposed to. I talked to Jordyn and told them I messed up my pregnant girlfriend’s order. They put a rush on the 2nd order and they took great care of us. Food was delicious, we got the gluten free chicken Alfredo and gluten free chicken parm. Will 100% be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta and breaded chicken was fantastic.“
“Finally got around to trying out the new Barrington location and it was nothing short of amazing! We got there on a rainy Sat night - called ahead to see if they took reservations but were told no and that there should be no wait. We got there shortly after and were promptly seated and serviced. The new spot is def a few steps up from the old spot - updated, modern and airy. Meaghan was our waitress and was wonderful - as was all the staff. It was outstanding friendly service and efficient all at the same time. We started with the loaded tater tots and the octopus special. The octopus was cooked wonderfully and the tots were a fun appetizer to share - reminds me of my elementary school lunch if I was Richie Rich. But the spotlight goes to our entrees - I got the chicken parm with fresh rigatoni and the pink vodka sauce and he ordered veal parm with fresh bucatini and pink vodka sauce (how unoriginal ). Both were delicious! I love me a good vodka sauce and fresh pasta - my rigatoni was maybe 20 seconds short of being al dente but I'd prefer a tad harder vs soggy floppy pasta. The bucatini however was perfecto! The mister said it was one of the best veal parms he's ever had and that's a tall order to fill! All drinks were creative and tasty! And with how delicious dinner was, we had to get some dessert and they didn't disappoint! We were way too full and took the rest of dessert to go. With the nightmare that is the Washington Bridge debacle - this is a great place to support more locally, you won't be disappointed! No need to go to the Hill for some good Italian (they do serve up Portuguese fare as well) when we've got a great spot in our backyard! With apps, drinks, dinner and dessert - tax + tip was close to $200 but well worth every penny!“
“Hands down the best chicken parm ever; my go to!! I caved and tried the lasagna because it looked so good-- covered in a pink vodka bolognese sauce with chunks of meat. Yum!! My bf said the veal parm was the best he'd ever had. Even the bread and aioli was awesome. A sweet hostess and multiple servers meant we wanted for nothing throughout our amazing dining experience. We were surprised how good the prices were in this economy too. Can't wait to come back! Free valet, so if you're worried about parking, don't!“
“We were seated comfortably away from other diners as we were dining early and there was available seating, we very much appreciated that. Billy was our server and a top notch one he was. Pleasantly took care of the necessary questions then followed thru with all required checking and providing and all with a friendly demeanor which we also like. It was our 36th wedding anniversary and we had celebrated at the old Mr. Marcos on the wedding night which is today the Meritage. Upon patiently listening to our story Billy kindly offered a cake "on the house". As nice as the offer was we were both very full having thoroughly enjoyed our baked cod (simple but superb) and a perfectly cooked filet mignon. I am thrilled that the area has a consistently excellent restaurant with affordable prices. There is a nicely varied, eclectic menu which would suit most tastes.“
“Was traveling in the area for work, so I was dining solo.Everyone, from the hosts to the bus boy, were wonderful. Greeted promptly. Seated quickly.I preferred one of the breads out of the selection in the bread basket, but it’s the best I’ve experienced in the area. The wine list is good and the prices are responsible. Enjoyed my Pinot GrigioThe bolognese is authentic. Am impressed that they haven’t capitulated to “American tastes” and dumbed it down. The garden salad has a nice variety with olives, tomatoes, onions, cheese, etc. Good portion.“
“Iannucilli Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! My meal was amazing and I'm not joking. I was apprehensive about getting the veal chop Parmigiana, but I'm telling you it's the best thing on the menu. We were a party of 4 at 730pm Saturday night. There was a chicken special, gnocchi, linguine and clams(white clam sauce) and my veal parm with capellini. My dinner was absolutely the best on the table. While the other meals looked great the linguine and clams was a bit dry- while at the other table right next to us, there was an vat of white clam sauce dripping over the side of the plate.I'm basing my review of Iannucilli on my meal only. Get this meal. You won't be disappointed. In fact our appetizer- cannellini beans, broccoli rabe and sausage was awesome too- but I think there could've been a little sauce to accompany this. I'd go so far as saying that I'd order that as an entree if it had 2x the beans, sausage and rabe. <-Nicky that should be an entree, the app was delicious! Our desserts were great too but I asked for an afogato- espresso with vanilla gelato. Simply put it was the best ending to a great meal.“
“Very friendly staff, not too busy got in right before the lunch rush. Had the meatball & cheese. The bread is amazing.Parking: Very big open lot. Shared with multiple businesses, but ample parking up front.Kid-friendliness: Not a huge venue but enough tables to spread around.“
“Love the Monday night specials...no reduced portions...a real dinner with wine, well proportioned salad and very good Italian bread. Can't say enough about the waiter, Ryan, who is upbeat, efficient and personable. Have had him twice. Nice to see a young man hustle and enjoy what he's doing.“
“Please, PLEASE stay open later???? Mangiamo has THE best sandwiches around! Bread is so fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, the meats and ingredients fresh and TOP-NOTCH! SO filling~! Excellent prices, too. Don't forget to try their pizza strips... the best tasting strips I've had in the state. Desserts are incredible, but sadly,m they're only open until 3 pm... We order at least once a week...“
“Amazing food and experience. Their menu is fluid and every option is unique - made it tough to pick given how appealing everything sounded. Wife and I enjoyed the Mac Daddy burger, Odeum chicken sandwich, and a King Street Steak Tip sandwich because it was too tempting. Our sever Nicole was amazing, and manager John was incredibly nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back here.“
“1st time eating here. Service was very good. Food was good, large portions. My swordfish was slightly overcooked, but not bad. The rest of my party enjoyed their dinners. My biggest complaint was the strange seating. We had a party of six, they had a bench seat for 3 of us and chairs for the other 3. The strange part was the table for 2 set right on top of us. 1 person on the bench, 1 in a chair. Just felt very crowded. Overall a very pleasant dinner.“
“Went for the first time on NY Eve. The atmosphere was pleasant and elegant, food was absolutely delicious with perfect portion size. Our waitress Ashley was very nice, knowledgeable, and attentive, made us feel welcome. Definitely will come back!!“
“Came in during college visits with my son and we were so happy to have such an incredible meal start to finish!!! Great atmosphere with river views. Might be in my top 3 all-time meal experiences! We started with calamari, the bread and olive oil were perfect, my son had the Bolognese with just a perfect hint of fennel, and my ricotta cavatelli was superb, not too creamy and pasta was perfection… we finished our meal with the apple tart with crispy crust, and just the perfect amount of sweetness with the crèm anglaise! 1 million thanks for a perfect evening!!“
“This is a 5 star for us all the way! You can’t get more authentic Italian food than this. It’s one of those hole in the wall places that simply blow your mind. The owner and chef stands about 4’8” and he is an absolute sweetheart. The food is cooked perfectly and tastes amazing. You must try the sizzling sirloin! Abbondanza folks! ❤️“
“Best pizza place around!! Always excellent service and food! The salad dressing is outstanding... it is the nectar of the gods lolVegetarian options: Excellent salads and pizzasParking: Parking lot is behind the buildingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair enteance in back parking log“
“Small Family style atmosphere restaurant.BYOBEach dish is prepared ? ?If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this is not the place as this place is usually full of cheer laughter family and friends being themselves.Reservations are highly recommended .Always a great experience for us as well as our Family and FriendsParking: It is common to block those who you dine with in so that it frees up space for others.“
“If you're not eating at Tomaselli's, where are you eating? The staff, food and bar chairs are where it is at! They have daily specials and great deals. There is something for everyone on the menu. If you want Italian, look no further then your own local favorites at Tomaselli's at Rosario! Great for a small dinner or a large function. Call and reserve a spot today!“
“I had the pleasure of eating here at Dimitri's. i have to say the pasta and meatballs i highly recommend! it was so ta's these is yummy another meatballs are so much better here. My friend had meat ball grinder it was big and he loved it. Too he agreed we will make this our favorite place to eat it's lovely. Clean. The owner was so.friendly ! very cool family oriented. Place! You will love it ! Try it! Ameerah. 10 stars!!“
“What’s NOT to love about Anglelo’s? It’s a Federal Hill institution for a reason - great food and family atmosphere, warm and welcoming servers, and now with big beautiful windows overlooking Atwells Ave for that indoor-outdoor experience. And while it may be “old-school,” it continues to innovate - any restaurant that caters to gluten-free diners always goes to the tops of my list!“
“This place is excellent. The place is small but the food is delicious. The server was pleasant. Pizza is the best I've ever had. I like the fact that they put plenty of sauce on the pasta. Other restaurants don't. You always have to ask for more. The eggplant and chicken Parm was amazing. We will be going back.“
“Cameron, the barback is one of the greatest young men, I have met in a long time. Hard-working, engaging, polite and never on his phone! He's going places and is a true tribute to your restaurant as is Kristen. We own a restaurant and were so impressed. Fantastic everything, but the staff is exceptional. Kudos!“
“Had some lunch here with my family ordered a big papi and a roasted vegetable pizza we all loved the pizza the service was great, pizza came out super fast I want to give a special thank you to our server Nikki she was great!I would definitely come back.“
“My family and I had dinner here and it was just as close as you’re going to get to dining in Italy. The food is imported from Italy and they have an amazing wine menu, all coming from small vineyards in Italy. There’s no other authentic Italian wine bar on federal hill, and it’s perfect for wine tasting and trying all their amazing Italian small plates. They also have a market next door where you can buy the wines and food you ate! Luigi the manager was also excellent and gave great menu recommendations. Will definitely be back it’s truly an underrated spot on the hill.“
“The chicken parmesan was delicious. It came with a very generous serving of spaghetti and auntie's salad was delicious. The baked Ziti was very good, But next time I would only order if I was Dining in. It cooled off and just wasn't the same.“
“I’m giving Piemontes 5 stars because their pizza is fantastic. BUT….Piemonte’s…. Cmon… I ordered a gluten free pizza (margarita) and you put this HORRIBLE looking basil in my box, you didn’t even put it in my pizza, which also came cold as ice. Do better next time with Gluten free pizza.“
“Nice place. Small bar but the place really isn't that big inside. I ordered a garden salad which was a decent size and fresh. No black lettuce to be found. Lots of cucs and olives. I also ordered a small cheese and meatball pizza which was done nice. The only thing I wish I ordered was a little extra sauce on pizza. Other than that, it was really enjoyable and would definitely return.“
“We order at least once a week, every week, from Cowesett Pizza! My family loves the way they make pizza to order. We also love the sandwiches and appetizers. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The staff is always friendly and the drivers are our favorites. We have tried many pizza places and Cowesett Pizza is the best!“
“Pleasant atmosphere, courteous workers tending to your taste and owner more than accommodating to their customers. It’s just more than pleasant it’s like eating with family and friends like your home. Exquisite prepped delicious meals. I enjoyed my every visit. It’s like the return to the classic days of yesteryear with a modern flair. Thank you Bacco Vino & Contorni it is truly a pleasure dining with you.“
“This is the third time my girlfriend, and I have been here, and all I can say is, YOU don't have to drive over the stupid Washington Bridge to go to Federal Hill, or Cranston, to get excellent Italian food. I don't mean to disrespect, but Spaghetti Lane does it right. Every dish I have tried has been flavorful, and great portions. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. She had the chicken/eggplant parm, and J had the veal parm. I do suggest making a reservation, because seating is very limited in this establishment, which I think is fine. It's more quaint, and not noisy, which I like. Overall, I highly recommend the Carbonara, and Parmigiana.“
“We were in town for the fishing show we wanted good Italian food and drove around federal hill we spotted your place and the Sicilian flag (I'm Sicilian) and said this must be a good place. the food was outstanding and so good we did the burrata which was amazing the chicken Francese was out of this worlds and my husbands baked stuffed Shrimp was also out of this world we ended the night with with a cannoli and tiramisu and both were fantastic. This will be our new go to spot when we are up in Rhode Island“
“The bottomless mimosas were nothing short of delightful. The quality of the champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice was evident with every sip. The generous pours and prompt refills kept our brunch flowing smoothly. Dianna was always there to check on us, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. What truly stood out was Dianna's genuine hospitality. She took the time to engage with us, recommending her favorite brunch dishes and sharing some insider tips about the menu. Her enthusiasm and passion for her job were contagious, making our dining experience truly memorable. Overall, I can't recommend Terrazas enough for their incredible bottomless mimosas, but what truly sets them apart is their exceptional service, especially from Dianna. She is a true asset to the establishment and made our brunch experience one to remember. We will definitely be returning, thanks to Dianna's outstanding service! Diona, I love you with passion!“
“Ok so who knew Warren, RI had so many AMAZING food spots? I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“
“Always great pizza and good owners, good variety of items to choose from, and a cool place to watch sports while eating. Kid friendly and a kids menu as well. Their Fish and Chips sell out quickly all the time and it's very good, not dripping in grease and a good sized portion.“
“We recently had our wedding here and it was amazing from beginning to end. The food was delicious and the staff was unbelievable. Thank you to Kelly for making this process as pleasant as possible! Everyone is still talking raving about the food weeks later!!! Thank you for everything! Michaela and Michael Rondeau“
“Great place. Great food. Only complaint, the price to value ratio sucks. Chicken parm dinner. Just chicken and pasta, 20 something bucks. It's all restaurants right now, I get it. Inflation blah blah blah. I hope that the prices come down or that the value ratio increases as quickly.“
“Very solid spot for dinner if you're in the area. Not mind blowing but good! Had the Greek style salad that was good but a bit overdressed and a bit heavy on vinegar for my taste. Pasta was cooked well (had the bolognese). Portions quite sizeable! Easy to make a reservation and service was prompt and the right level of attentiveness.“
“I loved the relaxed feeling of the restaurant. It was a beautiful place. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. I had the Shrimp Scampi which was awesome. My friend had the special which was clams over spaghetti. He said it was awesome. We both had Tiramisu for dessert which was awesome. I would highly recommend Roberto's Restaurant to everyone. I will definitely be going back.“

“This is by far one of the most classic restaurants still in Rhode Island that has one of the most original tasting foods. It does not matter what you get on the menu. Here it is always 100% amazing. The portions alone are worth every penny. The desserts absolutely out of this world The staff is always 100% catering to each and every single need that you have. However, it was my birthday last night and the wait staff that we had for my table. A party of 10 was probably one of the best experiences we've ever had in any restaurant we've ever attended Matty and Louis Our hands down the best vibe we have ever, dad. They were so Charis, magic and catering that you couldn't have asked for a better time. It was like they were part of our party. Again, this is our always go to hands down. Favorite restaurant not and it's highly recommended in every way shape or form“
