“We stopped in for lunch and ordered chopped steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was good, the hamburger was medium and the mashed potatoes were great. We also ordered a burger, that was good with French fries. We also ordered the triple decker sandwich and tater tots all was good. The best was the milk shake. Vanilla with Oreos, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Prices were great and if we are in the area again we will stop by! Thank you!“
“This was my first time eating there, and now I'm a fan. I've tried a lot of different restaurant biscuits and gravy over the years, and I believe theirs is probably the best. I'm not a local (anymore), but all of my family members are. When I asked where I should get breakfast, they automatically said, "we'll meet you at Mammie's, you'll like it". They were right, I did like it! The waitress was also very friendly and attentive (to all of her customers there).Parking: Gravel parking lot, pharmacy next door may allow for extra parking space if needed, but I'm not sure.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp beside of the steps.“

“Nice place with pleasant and attentive service. There is an option of patio (enclosed/heated for the winter) or indoor. We had the hushpuppies, burger and the chicken & shrimp pasta and all three were very good. Stop by and check them out if you are in the area. Parking is also plentiful in the area.“
“We stopped in this weekend and we sure were glad we did. The pulled pork was so tender, slaw and baked beans were great also. Everyone was so nice from the staff to customers. “Outside patio area very nice and shady. The waitress excellent. I grew up in Wisconsin where Swiss Cheese on Rye a staple. I was suprised to find grilled on the menu and it was very good. My husband had the Pastrami on rye and said excellent. We will return!“
“Food was amazing. So was the service! We ate there today, on a Sunday, it was beyond busy, to say the least. I’m not sure our servers name, but my son and I were taken well care of. She was a younger server. Food was great. Happy about all, as usual.“

“Just had fried pickles and a smash cheeseburger with onion rings here in Spruce Pine for the first time. Everything reminded me of good old country food from yesteryear. The food was very fresh, and the pickles and onions were hot and crispy. Just like I like them!“
“Happened upon Bubba's coming back from the Glenn & Carol Arthur Planetarium and stopped with the family to eat. Great food and atmosphere. Even met local celebrity Mike Holt who is 81 years young and has his own table with a picture of him and a plaque. He eats here every day so that ought to tell you something. It's that kind of place. Everyone loved the food from my chili dog to the BBQ and chicken tenders. Great folks. Check 'em out Y'all-Parking: Parking lot around building. Shared area.
