“Our server Paige was AWESOME! Very friendly, attentive, and professional/experienced! We enjoyed the food very much, and had a great end to end dinning experience. The hostess was also very friendly and professional! We love Wooden City and will definitely recommend it and return when we are back to the area!“
“This restaurant has great food, wonderful coattails and friendly service. We have been so disappointed in many restaurants serving “cheap versions” of authentic food but the food here was original and well prepared. My trout was perfectly cooked, my husband’s chicken pharm sandwich was delicious and the cauliflower gratin was to die for! Definitely worth checking out.“
“We are from out of town and wanted to try a good but non expensive bbq place for it being our first time in town. This place is amazing! For 5 people cost us $55! Servers are really nice and has play houses for little kids! 10/10 recommend!Kid-friendliness: It has some play houses for the kids to play on while getting food!“
“Amazing! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere reminiscent of a steak house I loved called Starks in Northern California. You smell the smokey wood fire smell with none of the downside. Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. And it was topped with fresh whipped cream not from a can.hand whipped. Yummy. We will be back. So satisfied. Definitely fine dining but not snobby and dress as you like.“
“My husband had a service dog (with best and signage), and we were greeted with sorry, no dogs. We educated the hostess and gave her an opportunity to check with her manager. Aside from that negative encounter, the service was amazing, and the good was simply put as creative, great taste and presentation. The atmosphere was great indoor and out. Must go!“
“My first time here. I was passing thru on my way to Ohio. I loved it! I had the Salmon and it was delicious! My waiter, Jonathan M. was so kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant and will stop on my way back to Florida next week!“
“If you told me that a diner attached to a 2 star hotel was this kind of boondiggity I would have thought you were special. First off, they got something for everyone; tex mex, Greek, standard diner fare, they got it. Whoever wrote the menu has carpal tunnel in the wrist. Food was on point, fresh, hot, fast. Service was timely and engaged and the atmosphere was a lot better than I would have ever thought of a place attached to a 2star hotel. Now let's talk about your desire for diabetes.....they got whatever variety of diabetes you desire. Cakes, cheese cakes, canole, baklava....etc. bring ya metformin.Kid-friendliness: High chairs galore and something for the picky eaters“
“This was our first time. We went to the location at Cherokee Blvd. LOVED the French toast and Farm Stand tacos. But we were placed right between two other families and felt like I was at their table. It was really loud and I struggled to talk to my husband for hearing the conversation within elbows reach of me.“
“I was in the area in 11/5/2023 and was looking for a place to eat. Doc Holiday’s came up in the search. After reading the reviews, which I’m skeptical of, I decided to give Doc’s a try. Zack was behind the bar (Zack. If you’re reading this, I’m the guy wearing the orange shirt). Zack ROCKED!!! It’s place we’re everyone is accepted. Like they say, a “Five star dive bar.” Zack introduced himself. The place had a real Mello feel to it. Food was good. I even walked out with some merch for the family. Truly a Five Star Dive Bar.“
“Growing up in Red Bank, I always thought this place was unique. Great decor, fantastic fresh food. A sandwich here isn’t like anywhere else. The service is great and quick! The owner/cook checked in with me a few times. This is somewhere traditions are made :) don’t forget a scoop of ice cream! I’m“
“The food and service was great. My daughter and I ordered flap jacks for the younger kid which came with bacon and eggs. The teens ordered waffles and bacon and potatoes. My daughter had steak eggs and potatoes. I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was friend to perfection. I really enjoyed the food and I will definitely go back and the pineapple mimosas was everything. ?Nice experience make sure y'all try it out ???“
“Love this place. The food is consistent every time and the service is friendly. My wife and I love the wings with the house sauce. I love the fried Buffalo chicken sandwich, it’s huge! The fried pickles are the bomb too! The beer is always cold and the prices are more than fair.Catch them on the weekdays around 2 pm to avoid the crowds and enjoy the outside patio.“
“Beautiful brunch. Excellent food. Having the whole coffee kettle on the table even though I’m the only one to order coffee - YOU GET IT!! I’m coming back for that alone.Having the waitresses even joking with us and laughing (or Oscar-worthy pretending to) at some Dad jokes…icing on the cake.ps get the avocado toast…my 2 cents“
“We had the most delicious meal tonight. Tayla was amazing and so helpful on choosing what to eat. Chicken Parm was the BEST we’ve ever had.The Pork Chops were also so good! The hot fudge cake was so good too. We highly recommended eating here.“
“OMG! I have a confession to make. I have never made fried chicken! But...I have eaten the most moist, flavorful fried chicken and that was at Home Folks Family Restaurant! I took a bite and knew I would be having more! You can have as much of any item you want including desserts. We were visiting friends of ours and this restaurant was their recommendation. It fills up quickly but worth the wait if there happens to be one. There aren't prices on the menu and our friends treated us so I don't know prices but it's basically like a buffet. You pay one price and eat all you want. The only difference is they bring all the food to you instead of you going up to a buffet. Enjoy!“
“Best foo best deals ..i are there today for the first time and it was awesome .hot food flavorful food .. best n friendliest server's ..thank u for the best 1st experience..will definitely return...thank y'all for being y'all..y'all are awesome n amazing ????“
“Such a cute spot! My favorites: Mint iced tea, poppyseed chicken, chicken & broccoli, carrot raisin muffins. The casseroles are great for dine in, carry out, or take and bake. It’s a great meal if you need to take dinner to someone or for an easy “homemade” meal that you didn’t have to make yourself. They also have a full spread of treats. The kids love picking something off the counter. Great outdoor dining.“
“The food was really good. I got the merv burger and fries. The portions were plenty big to fill me up, especially the side of fries. The service was okay. The waitress was nice, but it was extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes to get our food, which was 4 burgers and fries. It was seat yourself, so I highly recommend sitting away from the door because there's not much weather-proofing. It was very cold near the door when I went and it was only 40ish degrees outside.“
“A fantastic and unique dining experience! You don't see German restaurants that often, so, especially considering the high food standards in Chattanooga, my wife and I had to try this one. I wound up having a sampling of much of their menu in their spätzle plate: two brats over spätzle, kraut, and potato cakes. It was delicious! My wife, who wasn't sure what to expect (having never eaten German food before) had their pimento cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was not too crowded or overwhelming (surprising, as it was a Friday night). Definitely give it a try if you're in Chattanooga and looking for something different.“
“I never would have found this place if I hadn’t made a wrong turn going down Shallowford Rd, but I’m so glad I did! The burger tastes better than Five Guys and you can tell the ingredients and meat are fresh. I wish they had dinner time hours since it’s close to my house, but it’s all good for lunch.“
“This is one of the first BBQ joints I visited when I moved to the area and I have been craving it ever since. I live further away now, but was in the area last night and decided to stop in again. Fat Boy's is very unique and is a must try in the greater Chattanooga area (Ooltewah). From the outside and inside of the diner to the awesome food, you don't want to miss this place! The number one item I have been craving since I first ate here was their Mac & Cheese ! It is AMAZING and exactly what you are asking for when you think of ultimate comfort food. YUM!!!! I also want to mention for my Vegan and Vegetarian friends they have an extensive menu. Last night I had a cheeseburger and onion rings - Both were perfect! I loved the bun they used that stayed together even with my extra pickles. And the onion rings were still crispy and delicious despite my 20 min commute home! Now I know why I couldn't stop thinking about this place. Next time I won't wait a year to go there again!“
“my first time here and it was to celebrate my brothers birthday. the energy is nice, the staff is generally friendly.i did not like having to wait hours for a pool table but if you arent there to play, and simply hang out.then head on over.“
“Great beer, some very interesting and different styles along with the normal ones as well, something for everyone. The beer names are hilarious too! My wife and I shared a pretzel with the beer cheese and it was fantastic! highly recommend this brewery!“
“The breakfast is excellent! You definitely get your money's worth. I decided to give lunch a try & it was mediocre but the service wasn't the best as they were training a new hire which is understandable. I would give it another try on the lunch in the future but will remain a valued customer for breakfast.“
“The prices and quality were good, no complaints there. However, the live entertainment should cut the volume in half. My wife and I could not talk during dinner because it was too loud. Granted, the guy was talented. Nevertheless, we agreed to return.“
“Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. The food was delicious, we had the filet mignon, mahi mahi, Philly cheesesteak sliders, and veggie salad. Everyone enjoyed their food. I will say the kid plates are fairly large. The server was very attentive. It was a great family experience.“
“Family favorite!! ..updating my post years later.. we are from this town, and when we have any guest come visit, this is where we take them... everything. It's a no Brainerd. If you are in town, go here. Everything on the menu is good, and plenty of different choices. The line can get long at dinner time, but that's because it is worth the wait. There are plenty of other places to choose from, but this is always the go to for sure.“
“Ok this place is delicious!! Burger is still one of the best and portions are great. The biscuit is great also, makes the south proud. Would have gave 5 stars but the hours are so crazy. I do respect the replies from the owner and commend u for prioritizing your family. Still being next to Chester frost at least being open on Saturdays would make sense“
“Delicious ice cream, so many yummy flavors to choose from! I got the moose tracks and peanut butter brownie flavors - perfect combination! The aesthetic is nothing fancy but perfect for a family outing. Only downside was the staff was very unfriendly. Good thing we went for ice cream & not smiles. My husband says the arcade machine was a scam and not worth the $1 he spent.“
“Really delicious home-style southern cooking! I don't care for most catfish, but my wife got it here and it tasted really good. I got the roast chicken and it was well seasoned. Okra was fried well and their white beans were super tasty. They seem to serve a mostly take-out clientele, but the staff were very gracious and served us in the dining room. The dining was clean, although a bit dated and well used.I highly recommend giving Havens a try!Parking: Parking at front doorWheelchair accessibility: Single story, street level entrance, no stairs“
“I've been here twice, and both times have been good experiences. This last time was better than my first, and that's thanks to Blake. Really stayed on top of it this time, and food was great! Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area .“
“Whitebird has potential. Menu is small and curated which I was looking forward to. Dishes were balanced but in need of salt and the restaurant in need of some music outside.Chase, our server, was sweet and accommodating. It was a sleep Sunday in Chattanooga, so it’s safe to say we were pretty confused when it took 15 mins to be greeted at the table. Later on we found out that the kitchen and FOH were being stretched to simultaneously cater a rooftop event for the hotel.“
“This place has changed ownership a few times over the past few years, sometimes for the good, sometimes the bad. However, wife & I ate there the other night about 25 mins prior to closing and we weren't rushed or felt unwanted by the staff whom I am sure were ready to get home. The food was good, hot, and tasty. Hot fries!! Yeah. Service was quick and friendly and we were treated like the first customer of the day rather than the last one prior to closing which we were. Very appreciated, will eat there again and soon.“
“It was the first time I visited Aubrey's, and it was great. On vacation to Chattanooga. My niece suggested to go and it was delicious with attentive service and a vast menu.Vegetarian options: Mac & cheese, vegetarian casserole with zucchini & squash. Tomato bisque soup. Baked potatoes.“
“What can I say it’s Waffle House either you like it or you don’t . Me personally if I go into a Waffle House and don’t see at least 3-4 tables still messy I’m not even staying to eat . This particular Waffle House was pretty good great service even the cook in training was on point with it . Took a little longer the usual but I’d rather wait for good food then rushed food any day . Definitely will be returning to this one . Great job night crew“
“Discovered this gem today! Had the Blue Plate fried chicken meal. Breading on the chicken was tasty and the chicken was juicy. For sides we had black eyed pea salad, blt pasta salad, and potato salad. All of them were delicious. Took a piece of the Texas white cake to go. It was excellent too. Really unique concept with the Blue Plate special every day and all the takeaway meals. If we lived nearby, I would be stopping to pick up dinner on a regular basis. Great experience!“
“Cajun pasta ? with shrimp chicken and sausage was Awesome ? love the atmosphere. First time visiting this restaurant and was with a group of 6 for lunch ? parking around back.Short stroll up along the street to the front door at the intersection of Cherokee Blvd and Manning Street“
“Open early, seating is readily available. Staff are friendly and welcoming the service is prompt. The food is standard Americana breakfast fodder hot and fresh from the grill.Beats the hell out of the chain breakfast experience. Can get a little busy and the food can take a minute, but well worth the wait.“
“This place changed my taco outlook of this city. I ordered 3 different tacos, and a passionfruit margarita. I had a carnita taco, a PIZZA (yes, you read that right) taco, and a spicy brisket taco. All three tacos had their own vibes going HARD. I was told I'd have leftovers. I do not. EAT THESE TACOS, CHATTANOOGA PLEASE. 5 stars.“
“My family and I absolutely love Aretha Frankenstein's! Their pancakes are unmatched, unrivaled, unparalleled, unbeatable, undeniably the best pancakes we've ever had in our lives.Parking: Parking can be a bit awkward since you're in a residential area and you may have to park a block away in front of someone's house just to go to a restaurant. Whatever. It's worth it! Pancakes!“
“Staff is really friendly and customer service is great! We went 2 hours before they closed and food came out fresh and hot. Very flavorful and their Mac and cheese tastes homemade, not cheap. Price came out to about $15 a person which included drinks and a side.“
“Add outdoor lighting and better, more inviting directions to the restaurant and you will be much busier. We almost kept driving because it looked closed. Food was fair for the price, service was FAST! great venue, seems to be lacking something "extra" because we were the only ones there all night which made for an odd, library-like atmosphere.Yes, we came on a Monday night, but with the prices so fair you should have plenty of regular local business especially after 5pm“
“Really good biscuits and gravy!Parking: GravelWheelchair accessibility: As far as getting through the door, you'll be fine. Getting to the door will put you traversing a gravel parking lot. If you make it, once inside, the tables are very close and will need to be moved to accommodate. I can't see anyone there hesitating to help (staff or customers).“
