“The food was incredible - there is no denying that. It could have been better with improved atmosphere, more lively music, happier energy. Stormy our server was a total redemptive aspect to that. She was kind, helpful, funny, and real. We enjoyed her very much. The food was phenomenal, but I just love a happy chef whose work makes him proud, not arrogant and it seems a little stuffy and without the personality we were hoping for. Will return either way!“
“Brought me the wrong food, so my area on the table ended up covered in water from the condensation of the crawfish platter. However, when my correct order arrived, the Cajun crawfish and shrimp tacos none of that mattered anymore. They were very good.“
“Drinks weren't mixed well & slow to arrive. Food was way under seasoned... like no salt. Our food was pretty much cold when it arrived on the table. No steam coming from the fajita plate kind of cold- cheese melted into a goop onto the tacos. Was not good.We waited over 30 min for our table. Expected better for that kind of wait.Kid-friendliness: Gave free ice cream to my kids.“
“Me and a friend went to brio for the first time on 4/13, they were busy so I’m glad I made a reservation online. It did not take long to be seated. I have to say that the food was good and tasty, but for the amount you pay, my friends portion was small and they are very skimpy with the lobster. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta, there was definitely more shrimp than lobster in it. I had a margarita that was very strong, almost too strong to drink. We spent $108 on two entrées, one appetizer, one drink, and a dessert. I will visit them again.“
“We loved, having, Ally take care of us. She was engaging, and explained all of it to us.She answered all of our questions! We also, asked Jacob Settle, about some of the places, we were interested in!Great young man! Thanks, we will be backPatricia SVegetarian options: Great choices !“
“Went for my girlfriends birthday on a Saturday and it was great! Was able to get same day reservations and the restaurant itself was busy but not packed. My girlfriend and I were able to hear each other and our server clearly every time. Also the cake is to die for! Thank you to the host who also played an amazing role just with overall amazing service and great conversation. Definitely coming back here!“
“Highest level of Texas Steak in a traditional full bar service with black tie services. Most friendly waitresses and bartenders! Must try the Delmonico steak! Every time we are in town, we will reserve an evening at Texas! Even though the price is not the cheapest, but the experience is definitely the highest! Even compared with some other newer, higher hyped establishments, Texas is the one we will pick and recommend every time!“
“Went here for a date night and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. We let our waiter recommend drinks and food and everything was delicious. We sat inside but would love to try the patio next time. I would have liked to see a bigger wine selection..probably my only critique. We really did like that the manager(?) recommended one of the wines to us because he knew the owner of the vineyard. We’ll be back soon!“
“My fiancé and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Plano location. The manager, Allison, provided us with catering options for our group of 20 plus weeks in advance. Brian was our server and took amazing care of us! He went above and beyond for us by setting up the entire area with floral arrangements and pictures of the happy couple! I’m so happy we chose to celebrate at this beautiful restaurant and were treated so special for our big weekend! Thank you so much for the excellent service and we can’t recommend this restaurant enough “
“This spot is CUTE! Definitely good for a girls get together or a date night. The tacos were very filling even for 2 tacos! I recommend the Carne Asada taco for sure, and the spicy chicken taco. Both meats were marinated overnight and it tasted like it was marinated for a week! Juicy, tasty and filling, that’s all I ask for in a taco haha. Our waiter was awesome and I would recommend this place to anyone“
“Customer Service: Great customer service and very dope vibe!!!! Beautiful patio!!!!! They do allow dogs in the patio area, but with strict rules. I was hoping not to have to address any of the pet owners, and it was actually a pleasant visit! IMO dogs should not be allowed at restaurants, but the strict rules are what gave me ease.I got the vegan burger, and it was so freakin' good!!!!! I could only eat half. The house made chips are entirely too salty, but both the regular and sweet potato fries were phenomenal!!!!! That homemade ranch, OMGosh!!!! Fire!!!! ???The donut balls were doughy, so had to send 'em back.I don't eat chocolate cake, but theirs tasted more like a brownie sundae, so was ok.“
“We finally tried Creekside Fine Grill on 544 in Wylie. We made a reservation as a party of six and were walked right to our table when we arrived. We were treated to a circular booth which is always great for conversation. Almost everyone ordered something different off the menu. The Chicken Parmesan was massive with two pieces of chicken over shell pasta. I selected off of the "Pick 3" menu and chose 3 seafood items which were all good. The service was great with lots of attention to drink refills and anything we needed. The decor is "Fine" but there were several patrons in casual attire. The average price of the meals we ordered were $16 to $23 but they do offer some sandwiches and burgers for less. We recommend Creekside Fine Dining if you have been wanting to give it a try.“
“Local typical is about the only thing humble here. This place was terrific. The service was very attentive, the selection was very good and diverse and the good was terrific. The smoke chicken fry was hands down one of the best with the firm buttery mashed potatoes. The Hamilton Burger was an absolute hit! I cannot wait to come back for dessert! Bring your appetite!“
“Karaoke on Kentucky and the garage every other Thursday night is the BEST!!! Kristie is the MC and Kevin the DJ. Kevin’s a true musician and knows how to bring a great time to all. Chauvon at the garage knows how to take care of you while you have a great time listening to Karaoke on Kentucky. Come on out and enjoy! You’ll have the best and memorable times.Russell“
“The difference in dining these days is summed up in one word: service. In DFW, there are a multitude of good restaurants. Places with good food and a solid selection of wines with enough variety and quality to solve most dining requirements. Last night, we were in downtown for Morton's for example. Great name and very good dinner.....Tonight, we visited Nelson's. Dollar for dollar; dish for dish; service for service... we prefer Nelson's.Bryan and his team, although running short-handed, made it a perfect evening. His selection of Scotch is, for my taste, perfect! The wine list, though short, is full of tremendous options. (We are fond of Washington wines and thus were tickled to see the 9 Hats as on option!) Since they were running bit short staffed, we took time at the bar for a wine before getting seated. Well laid out and fun. When we were seated, Anna took care of us in every way imaginable. He knowledge of the menu was impeccable as were her suggestions for dinner. The deviled eggs are a great mixture of sweet and savory. The bacon wrapped shrimp are flavorful and dynamic. The crab cakes were cooked to crusty perfection. The 44 Farms ribeye exceeded my expectations and the spring mix salad was FANTASTIC! The serrano vinaigrette is worth the trip. My wife's red snapper was superlative.Quit overthinking it. Go. Eat. Enjoy.“
“We love Jhonny's food! Usually the service is also topnotch but the woman serving us was distracted talking to the other employees and seemed fairly uninterested in serving us. Of course it's run down but that's part of what's to love!Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“Some of the best burgers I've had in so long. Also were very accommodating to modifications. Huge size of sides. The waitress did amazing keeping up on drinks and checking in on us. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town.Vegetarian options: They have very clear options for vegetarian alternatives. They include the ingredients in their veggie patty. They also have a couple salads as well.“
“Visited Brass Tap in Prosper, TX and was thoroughly impressed! The beer selection is extensive and diverse, catering to all tastes. The atmosphere is welcoming and ideal for a casual hangout. Food offerings are delicious and go well with the drinks. Janai was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening out or to catch up with friends. A definite go-to spot in Prosper for beer lovers and foodies alike!“
“Thought they may be closed on a Saturday night when we arrived, then we heard the music. We were the only two diners and it it felt like a high end private dinner. Everything was excellent from the chips (warmed) and salsa, sangria to the Americano plate and steak quesadillas. It’s a CRIME that this establishment isn’t flush with business! Service, atmosphere and the FOOD is unmatched. Please try it, people!“
“Amazing Place for Food and Coffee!I drove past it for a while thinking it was just Coffee shop but actually it's a fantastic restaurant that serves coffee shop level coffee!Patio, bar, or dining room it's been a great experience each way.“
“Sunday night 9pmish still had a good amount of people out on dates, eating with family, and more. Chill indoor outdoor place, upbeat funky jams, lively outdoor terrace space. Great for pups, and small to larger groups. $5-$7 for 16oz Cold Draft Beer!!The outdoor place is fun with different leveled areas. Love love the design of the outdoor space! The many aged trees within the patio space really makes the outdoor vibe. Theres lots of heat lamps around, and shade from either umbrellas or trees.Beer cups are plastic. Must mean this place can get pretty crowded and rowdy? Fun place. It is less about a mile/22min stroll from Hutchin's BBQ. We ate bbq, and strolled off our food to Historic Downtown McKinney...full of a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Almost everything was closed on a Sunday 9pmish though. They seem to have weekly events too like Tuesday Bingo Music night.“
“I was so excited to try this spot. I ordered gumbo, bisque, and the fried catfish platter! That platter had so much fish, 2-3 ppl could have eaten from it, the gumbo was really good, and the bisque was about the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!!!“
“Whenever I’m in Texas and craving Japanese food, I always visit this place. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the yakitori and agedashi tofu, which offer a taste just like back in Japan. Additionally, they have a happy hour where beers are priced attractively.“
“Picked up some tacos and Gordita's couple of days ago and was pleasantly surprised how really good everything was. Elly took care of us and was so hospitable talked to us about all the bands that come and play and recommended some dishes for us to try. Pastor and campechano tacos were really good and it's kind of trouble because it's walking distance from my house“
“Overall, I liked it. Prices were fair, atmosphere was nice, and service was good. The food was good, just not exceptional. I also bit into two kalamata olives that weren't properly pitted and nearly cracked my tooth. On the flopside, the jumbo prawns were amazing. So, it was just a little hit or miss with the menu.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: YesParking: Huge lot shared by the businesses inside the area development.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Super chill space that is kid and pet friendly. The food was tasty and service was great. My son loved the patio and meeting local pups at lunch. I got a grilled chicken salad and my husband got a brisket potato. We had the BBQ deviled eggs.“
“A really nice restaurant; featuring bar style hightop seating and booths. The food was delicious and our waitress was a sweetheart!Definitely more of an adult restaurant/bar than a family restaurant but they do serve kids portions. Some of the menu items have names that I wouldn't deem appropriate for children but this is a moonshine bar so keep that in mind when dining in.My only "complaint" would be that the hightops section is a little difficult to maneuver around and it's difficult to enter and exit around the many tables in that area.“
“Kitchen Master has quickly become a go-to spot for me, having visited twice within a week. Each time, I ordered the same items: Hot and Sour soup, boom boom shrimp, and Chicken Tofu fried rice. I must say, every dish exceeded my expectations. The standout aspect of Kitchen Master is its quick service. Despite the rush, the staff always manages to deliver orders promptly. However, there's a slight inconsistency with the Chicken Tofu fried rice. While it's generally good, I've noticed some variation in taste across visits.Price-wise, Kitchen Master offers reasonable rates for the quality of food and service provided. Despite the minor inconsistency with the fried rice, I'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals. Overall, Kitchen Master is a solid choice for a satisfying meal with quick service and friendly staff.“
“Food is pretty decent - Pizza was really good last week. Burger/Fries average. BUT - when taking may order - I should have been told that the curly fries were an extra $2 and ranch was and extra as well! Made the lunch menu price not so good.“
“Flash back to prohibition at this cute little speakeasy. You're greeted with a challenge and must uncover the nightly passcode to enter. Once past the entrance you're welcomed to a subdued setting. The dimly lit space combined with drawn shades all bring about a very intimate experience. There are an assortment of finger foods to choose from. The drinks were delicious with a large variety. However the star of the show truly is the ambiance.“
“Ocho Taco located in McKinney,TX (Just south of the intersection of Eldorado and Custer) has become my favorite spot to feed my hunger for Mexican and Latin food ? ?. This gem opened in July 2021 and offers specials for “Taco Tuesday”, brunch on the weekends, vegan tacos, and occasional live music with patio dining. If you enjoy a good Margaritas when you dine, then they also offer a variety of adult beverages.BE YE WARNED, if you show up hungry take it 2 tacos ? at a time, because the portions deliciously large and they currently offer house-made chips and salsa. Prices are on point too, offer a great value for amazing food and ambianceWhether you choose to enjoy their Mexican/industrial themed dine in experience or order online “To Go”, Ocho Taco McKinney did not disappoint.Vegetarian options: The Vegan Tacos ? are sooo good ? they made The Dallas Morning News.Parking: Large parking lot in a shopping center makes finding a place simple and convenient.Kid-friendliness: Ocho Taco has a kids menu section with delivers the same outstanding quality and taste, but in smaller portions.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking with ramps easily accessible.“
“We took our family of 5 here today for Easter brunch. Outstanding!! This place is great -- the food, the service and the ambience, make us want to come back next Sunday. Prices are also reasonable. Want to sit on back patio this time if the weather is nice -- the decor is so inviting!! Thank you to Jordan and staff!!“
“We were heading to a different restaurant for a celebration and on the way we saw this place and felt appealing. It was very nice setup inside and looked very welcoming. I was able to taste Azteca Mexican variety and liked it very much. Stuff is very nice and margarita drinks are superb!“
“Heard mixed reviews about this place and we decided to take the leap and try it out. We went there before rush hour and both food & service was on point. They have tofu substitutes for vegan with is uncommon.Definitely recommend them for vegetarians as they have several things to try.“
“Ask for ROBBIE as your waiter. The young man was extremely attentive, professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable of their menu. He has a genuine kind personality. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Victoria 6 ounce filet and my wife ordered the Queensland Chicken and Shrimp.“
