“I had the omakase. and was disappointed with the fact there was a heavily fried dish of shrimp and corn that came out mid point of the experience. The sashimi was pretty good but, not too much thought was put into it. Other than the two kind of misteps my overall experience was amazing! the staff was helpful and the flavors were fun! I highly recommend the sesame mousse for dessert and the sea bass melted in your mouth and the soba noodles with the various dipping sauces were to die for ♡“

“We went to Mabo for their Omakase dinner. The attention to detail is what elevates this restaurant’s dining experience. Upon entering into small dining room, guests enjoy an intimate dining area limited to 8-9 guests per seating. Guests experience is at the root of everything Mabo offers. Chef has curated an amazing menu that allows guests through an amazing culinary experience. Each of the courses is prepared and presented with instructions of how each dish is intended to be enjoyed. Both serve and chef were attentive, professional, and ensured guests had an excellent experience. 10/10 would recommend for those looking for Dallas’ Best Omakase dinner, or a special celebratory dinner.“

We got a mixture of 5 specialty rolls. The Burning your stomach and the Threesome Special were two of my favorites. We also got the Franky & Boom Boom Nipple Roll both delicious. Literally every one of the rolls were heavenly! I didn’t realize how big the rolls were though! The Japanese egg roll wonderful as well!!“

Some of the dishes were excellent, while others were a bit too salty for our taste. The venue is beautifully decorated and located inside the hotel, adding to the overall ambiance.“

There's 2-3 booth tables, regular, and high tables for seating. No patio. A small menu but delivers on flavor and fresh sushi. Also love having the tic-tac-toe while waiting in between orders.“

No actually it was a really nice and fancy place but not too fancy to make you not want to move or you might hit something valuable and breakable. They had music that made you want to dance but not to much to get on the ground and break and hip or something just nice Forrest Frank and Jonas brothers. The food was out of this world but not to much out of this world just enough to make you eat a lot more than usual. The service was great the guy didn’t have an accent which I was hopeful for and he really cared about us but not to much bc that would just be weird. But I loved the door and the second story and all the decorations but not to much bc then I would want to buy them I would definitely come out of that place with absolutely no money if I bought those decorations. But yeah it was a great place. Would definitely want to come back.“

“Absolutely incredible omakase experience! Yujo is a hidden gem in Dallas offering beautifully crafted sushi with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. Every course in the omakase was unique and well-balanced — you can really tell the chefs put a lot of care into their work.

The atmosphere is intimate and elegant without being stuffy, and the staff was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole evening feel special. If you're looking for an upscale sushi night that doesn't feel overly pretentious, this is it.

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“
