If you're not afraid to try different things, I highly recommend it. The burger was cooked with a little crunch as well as the sausage. The fries were nicely seasoned.“

The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. “On the ground floor there is fast food of all kinds, a lot of variety, which I liked. Going up the stairs on the roof you have a viewpoint that is very pleasant especially when it is not so sunny because otherwise you will get burned. I will definitely return.“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos by far! There isn't a lot of room inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat but you can eat in the car LOL. Expect long lines when you go to eat at brother's tacos. But it's only because their food is delicious!Parking: Parking is very limited and most people end up parking on the side of the street. However, the last time I was there was about a week ago. Ok my last visit I did notice a city worker putting fines on windshields of cars that were parked on the side of the curb in the street. Previously I had never seen this.“

The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. Because after far too long, I finally made it here, and it was worth the wait. --- --- --- I discovered Crumbville over a year ago and it just never worked out for me to stop in and visit. Despite it not being super close by where we at lunch, I made it a point that it finally had to happen. And why did I wait so long?? When we first walked in, there was a line of people waiting to pay for what they'd picked out. But, the owner, despite being busy with all of these people, still greeted us and was going over all of the different options in the store, while she was ringing up people in line. When we made it to the front of the line, she could not have possibly been a friendlier human. It's no wonder the reviews here are so amazing, because even if you don't absolutely love the goodies, you can't help but enjoy coming in here. As for what we bought: Mayniac Munch = 4.5 stars. Red velvet, chocolate chip pecan cookie dough & oreos. This was solid when we snacked on a couple bites in the car, but so amazing when we got home and heated it up a little bit. Best of Both Worlds = 4.5 stars. Fudge brownie topped with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough and cream cheese. This was my wife's choice and something I wasn't super excited about. But I took one bite and next thing I knew, I had eaten half of it! Butter ThickHER Thana Snicker = 5 stars. Moist Butter cake with our Signature ThickHER Thana Snicker cookie (rich chocolate dough filled with peanuts, chocolate, Caramel, nougats & popcorn) baked inside. This was absolutely stupid good. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. How about 15? The icing was amazing too. And the best part was that I didn't feel awful after eating it. I don't know what she puts in this stuff to not give me an immediate stomach ache full of regret afterward, like most baked goods, but it's heaven. I will not wait 14 months to make my next visit, I promise you that.“

“As one of Houston's older establishments, Stanton's City Bites managed to morph from what was once a convenience store to one of the city's beloved burger destinations. A lot has changed in the First World over the last half century, but Stanton's has remained one of the city's most popular businesses. For me, it's become one of my favorite places to enjoy an American classic and is a beloved Asian-owned business. The place is easy to miss for a lot of first timers, since the building looks more like a house than it does a restaurant. The beautiful mural on the outside is what usually gets my attention but it's literally on the corner of Houston Ave and Edwards Street. Parking can be a challenge at times, but the steady flow of customers in and out means the wait to find a space won't be long. The interior reminds me of a renovated retro diner. I love the vintage decor pieces adorned on the wall and it didn't dawn on me that the place had Asian management until I saw the urns and Chinese characters behind the counter. It was a surprise but I'm all for it. (#1) The staff was extremely kind and current owner Theresa Fong and her adult children were doing a masterful job at running the show, cooking the food, and greeting every customer. Every time I've gotten a burger here, it's been great. The 1/2 Ib beef patties are a welcome departure from the smashburger trend that has been sweeping the city the past few years, and the heartiness of their stacked burgers is my usual preference. Truth be told, I haven't really had a bad burger here yet, thus I tend to get something different here each time. The Miss Piggie (ground bacon + beef patty + house candied bacon + hashbrown + cheddar + lettuce + tomato) is an easy go-to, as it combines a lot of sweet and savory textures. I do feel their turkey burger is highly underrated, and the holy cow (5 different cheeses) is cheesy in the best way. The blue moon (crumbled bleu cheese) is my pseudo guilty pleasure, but the monster burger (1 Ib of meat, 1/4 bacon, 4 slices of American cheese, with all the fixins) is the one item I can expect a nice food coma. Combine this with their tator tots, french fries, onion rings or pickle chips. There are also many burger alternatives, from veggie options to other sandwiches. Their club sandwiches are stacked (literally) and the tuna salad as well as the BLT, or smoked turkey sandwiches sound fabulous. I've heard good things about their chicken caesar. The prices aren't back breaking and the takeout is so popular here that I'd recommend calling ahead of time. They are a friend bunch and whenever I'm in the area I'm always debating on making a stop to enjoy a good, casual, and delicious burger. ___________ (#1) Is this not the most Houston thing ever?“

I knew when I saw the parking lot nearly full at 11 AM on a Monday that it was going to be good. Old school diner with huge portions and good prices. I had meatloaf with gravy, spinach, and cornbread. More than I could finish. $10. Getting waited on took a little while, but from there, all great. They have daily specials and serve breakfast all day. I suggest getting there early for lunch. Great place.Vegetarian options: Veggie plate or salad.Parking: Full at noon. Pho Barr is nothing on the outside, standard windows, small but inside there is some magic going on... The smell hits you as soon as you open the door... Umami, garlic, teriyaki, beef... Your mouth is watering for one or all of the ingredients... I went straight to the pho options and picked my favorite... Spicy Tonkatsu with Black Garlic... It had pieces of chashu (large) on the top with plenty of fresh veggies... The noodles tasted fresh with the perfect chew... The broth was delicious!!! Give them try for your next pho fix!!“
