We returned, but the food and service were not as good this time. The ribeye, ordered well done, was still rare in the middle. After it was sent back, some parts were still not well done, but most was edible. It was also not as flavorful or tender as it had been on our previous visit. We were not asked if we enjoyed our meal, and we didn't have a chance to inquire about the rewards program until after we had paid. Overall, the service was not as good and the meal did not feel worth the price.

Tried this place for the first time on Saturday end it was great.
We walked in, and were greeted by Andrew, he was very helpful and gave us different recommendations for our meal. Everything that we got had great flavor. We ordered the Barbacoa donuts, the marinated ribeye, Butternut squash, sautéed mushrooms, and the beignets for dessert. Definitely a great place for a date night.”

“Wonderful atmosphere! We had a private event earlier this week, and Provecho y Salud was the perfect choice. The owner was super responsive when working out the details, making it very easy to ultimately decide upon this location for the event. The banquet turned out amazingly, with so many compliments being received - from the location, setup, decor (we were able to bring some in), the food, and the service. The fajitas buffet was delicious, and the team and guests were very pleased with it. Additionally, the staff and service was top notch! Highly recommend this establishment, for individual and/or family meals but especially for events/banquets. ❤️”

About having our gathering there and if there was any restrictions on decorations or having a cake . Everything was great the staff , food , and the environment . “I visited 15 before 9pm on a Saturday. We were seated and handed menus then owner/ manager comes to tell us the kitchen was "closed because they hadn't had anyone in over an hour, and bar was closed"(even though there was a bartender there). I told her we were from out of town after she told us to "come back another day". I was disappointed she didn't offer quick prep menu items or let us at least enjoy a glass of wine. Needless to say, I will never visit this establishment again. If you want to close earlier at least change your operation hours to reflect that and lock your doors at closing time.”

“Heading back from South Padre we decided to give this place a shot. It's a simple restaurant with a small menu. The food was amazing! I ordered chilaquiles and a picadillo with cheese taco on the side. When the food came out, WOW! The taco was huge! It was at least 12 inches long and nice and full. The chilaquiles and picadillo was so good. I highly recommend giving this place a shot for breakfast.”

Ughh so delicious, creamy, caramely, and non watery!!! Even with the ice melted to small squares the coffee never watwred down, like I have experienced before in other coffee places. It just makes you feel all warm and cozy, while certainly filling up the belly. My family and I love to order from here and we try to as often as we can. We love to support our local hidden gems and this restaurant is a GEM.I was compelled to write this review, because of a post on Facebook. Someone complaining of the prices of a fajita taco and they can get a better deal at Stripes. Psshh…..I DON”T THINK SO!! You cannot compare a homemade taco to a stripes taco, no way. Prices for food have skyrocketed to an unimaginable high. Gas is ridiculous! Adjustments have to be made and therefore prices must go up. They have families that depend on them. Have I ordered a fajita taco from Panchito’s…yes I have. It was the best and freshest fajita taco that I have ever had, at any local restaurant. Though I must say, the carne guisada on the large 16 inch tortilla, with rice, beans, lettuce and tomato, is my absolute favorite. The 16 inch carne guisada taco, on the menu is $18.99 and the 9 inch is $10.99. Is that too much for a taco? Not really. Is it worth it? 100% YES!! Will I order it again? ABSOLUTELY!!You pay for the quality of the food, the heart that goes into the cooking, the smile and warm greeting when it’s brought out to you. I will come back over and over again. In fact, I had Panchito’s for lunch today. I had their lunch special of Calabaza con Pollo and it was THE BEST! I may sound like I am over exaggerating but my taste buds don’t lie….and neither does my belly.With that said, Jeanie, THANK YOU. The service was attentive and prompt, and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I had their famous chicken salad sandwich, paired with a nutty salad—both comforting and delicious. What made the experience even more special was the owner personally greeting us, making us feel truly welcome, and tempting us with the dessert menu—a weakness of mine!
