“Food was okay last time, but with each cook it varies. You are going to have to be specific if you want low sodium. I would have liked less soy sauce and less sauce on my vegetables. It is a little pricey and one plate of hibachi has a lot of food, so if you wanted to you could share it with someone in my opinion. The soup is always nice and great service. (:”

“Stopped in from out of town for lunch yesterday. I got the parrillada fajitas it was seasoned great and was delicious. Quite pleased with it. My buddy order the flautas and it looked good too. The garden salsa bought out with the chips was good, but our waiter brought us some chilli taqueria style salsa out as well. All 3 were tasty. If im near lufkin Hudson area again I'd go out of my way to stop in for lunch again.”

“Fantastic food, great options!! Most recently, I split a Bon Amí special with my daughter. She had no problem with the easy-peel shrimp and she devoured happily the 2 potatoes that came with the order. I handled most of the crawfish, the corn, and the boiled mushrooms that we opted to get as our side. Everything was piping hot, well-seasoned, mouth-watering delicious! Excellent portions at solid prices and I find the drive-up ordering very convenient, as well!”

“Every time I go to Louisiana to see my family, I always stop here to eat. It’s sort of like a tradition. Some of the workers here know and recognize me when I come in. These select workers also know my order by heart. The food always comes out great, with no problems, and I’ve never had a mistake in my orders from here. They know what they are doing. However, the only thing they need to work on is professionalism with some of their staff. Yesterday, I saw none of the people that knew me, but the ones that were there were rude. They barely acknowledged me, and were cussing left and right loud enough for the dining room to hear. When asked for assistance in ordering, they kind of laughed amongst each other, finished their conversation, and then decided to come let us order. I’ve never had an issue with Raising Canes, being my favorite chicken restaurant, however, it was yesterday where I saw that the management needs to teach their staff professionalism at work. Either way, the food was out fast and it was great.”

“My husband and I ate dinner on a Saturday night at Chick-fil-A. We went inside because we had been traveling in the car all day and wanted to stretch our legs. Everyone in the restaurant welcomed us and were very friendly. We ordered chicken strips and the cobb salad. They were delicious. Also, we wanted to try their peach shake and were so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We wanted to give a shout out to an employee named Melinda, who was very professional and answered all our questions. We certainly enjoyed our time spent talking to her. The food was so flippin good and fresh...I'm just ashamed I hadn't tried this little spot sooner. I chose to eat outside but they do have indoor dining and it's very clean and neat. If you're looking for a little detour from the typical Mexican fare, this is your spot. BONUS: They take card! The salsas must be used in moderation; they are merciless.

Edit: Went back and ate with the wife who's kind of a picky eater; she absolutely loved it! My fellow gringos, be not afraid to try this place. It will not let you down.”

The only complaint was the straight from the can ball park cheese dip. Would definitely eat here again. I visited 3/19/24 ordered chicken fried chicken, fried okra and Mac and cheese. chicken was so thin that it was so tough and all batter. biscuits were so hard could not eat them. Mac n cheese cold. told waitress and said their would be a 20 minute wait on the biscuits. my party was finished and gone by the time the bread was served four more parties experienced the same not a satisfied customer!”
