“I stopped by Heritage Coffee Co. and tried the Salted Englishman, it was DELICIOUS! Rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet and salty. I’m so excited to try more of their creative drink options! What made the visit even better was discovering how family-friendly and fun the space is! They have a cozy play area for kids, a pool table, and even a little library where you can trade books. Plus, there are fun items for light shopping around the shop. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to hang out for a while. I can’t wait to go back again!”

“We were in town for baseball playoffs and just happened to drop in. One of our best all time burgers. Fresh buns, fresh veggies and the meat patties were so good. We added an order of large onions rings. It was the perfect meal before heading to the game. If we lived closer we would definitely be regulars”

“Good food and service. There’s always a manager (Tony) at Lufkin’s location if you have any concerns. Roma’s is very community involved. Always happy to see them at the Downtown Bistro, supporting the school district and receiving awards from Lufkin Daily New, etc. Glad they’re in Lufkin!”

“Okay - first of all the service was so good the entire family commented on it at some point. So energetic. I wish I’d posted the review same day and captured our waitress’ name before I spaced it!! Will update the review at some if I can. Despite how busy they were we still got fast seating, we were checked on regularly, and staff was so energetic and wonderful listeners. Our waitress engaged with and helped the kids make great picks. This might go without saying if you know the area or (get recommendations from others like we do)… this is where you go to get Sushi.

The Sushi is prepared to perfection by dedicated artisans (you can watch through the glass at the bar). Sake Cafe is also very well staffed, clean, comfortable and huge spread of offerings on the menu. Enjoy!”

Super reasonable, ready on time, packaged very well, some of the containers I saved for Meal Prep, and it was way more than enough for 5 people. All the fixings and queso were included, even the super hot boom sauce that we love! 10 out of 10 recommend!”

The garden salsa bought out with the chips was good, but our waiter brought us some chilli taqueria style salsa out as well. All 3 were tasty. If im near lufkin Hudson area again I'd go out of my way to stop in for lunch again.”

“What can I say about this place?! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I was visiting from Alexandria, Louisiana with a friend who grew up in Lufkin and she suggested this place and boy I am so glad she did! The place is very clean and the people are quite friendly. Our order was ready in minutes and the food. OH MY GOSH, THE FOOD!!!!!!!! I have no words. All I can say is IT WAS A BLESSING TO THE SOUL!!!!!!!!! Next time I am in Lufkin, this will be the go-to place.”

“I ordered a 12 oz. New York Strip tonight on New Year's Eve. I ordered it medium, when it came out I asked for it to be cooked a tiny bit more. When they brought it out again, she asked me to cut into it. I tried but the entire steak was hard to cut and beyond even being well done. I didn't eat it. I ate mashed potatoes and the salad, that's all. I was really looking forward to a good steak tonight. 😒”

The food is not worth what you pay for it. I wil be finding another place for my weekend breakfast burritos.”

The food was so flippin good and fresh...I'm just ashamed I hadn't tried this little spot sooner. I chose to eat outside but they do have indoor dining and it's very clean and neat. If you're looking for a little detour from the typical Mexican fare, this is your spot. BONUS: They take card! The salsas must be used in moderation; they are merciless.

Edit: Went back and ate with the wife who's kind of a picky eater; she absolutely loved it! My fellow gringos, be not afraid to try this place. It will not let you down.”

“Prices of drinks are on par to other bars. There are only two pool tables. You're left alone. I didn't like that if you don't have money to put in the juke box, no music will be played at all. Other than that, it's basic and thankfully there is no cover charge.”

“My husband and I ate dinner on a Saturday night at Chick-fil-A. We went inside because we had been traveling in the car all day and wanted to stretch our legs. Everyone in the restaurant welcomed us and were very friendly. We ordered chicken strips and the cobb salad. They were delicious. Also, we wanted to try their peach shake and were so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We wanted to give a shout out to an employee named Melinda, who was very professional and answered all our questions. We certainly enjoyed our time spent talking to her. Whatever you do, don't skip the pinto beans!!! I have been known to drive up and order beans and hush puppies and be a happy country girl!!!! The location is rustic country with solid wood bench seating. Service is always given with a personal touch.”

They really go above and beyond here! 😊”

“I’ve always enjoyed CrackerBarrel shopping and the food. Food use to be good. Last 3 times we have been to Lufkin Cracker Barrel the food was no good not worth the money or my time. This last visit when we finally got some one’s attention to get butter for our now cold food and also under cooked food. The girl brought a hand full of butter with two or three that were already used. I normally take my mother there but I doubt I will go back u til they get better qualiity all the way around.”
