“An excellent dining experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Beautiful decor, stylish but comfortable seating, and just good vibes all round.

All of the food was amazing and so creative, especially the beet tartare which had this vegan egg yolk that looked and tasted like a real egg yolk! The mocktails were really fun too.

Only downside is that it’s pricey for the amount of food you get, but if you’re looking for a more refined dining experience with great atmosphere and delicious food you should definitely consider this place.”

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. From taking time to make even a simple breakfast of a sausage McGriddle and hash browns look aesthetically pleasing, to ensuring that my iced coffee was properly mixed right with enough cream to have a perfect balance of taste to indulgent coffee. Wish my locations in Florida were THIS on point. Thank you, Rosslyn Mickey D’s for taking care of us each morning. We can’t wait to return to Rosslyn!”

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! “Such a cute spot! It was pretty busy when I arrived, but the vibe was still great. I ordered a vanilla latte, which was smooth and delicious. I also tried the avocado toast on their homemade focaccia. Really tasty, though I think a touch of salt or more flavorful pickled onions could have taken it up a notch. I had my eye on the strawberry matcha, but they were out of matcha that day. Still, it was a lovely experience overall and I’d definitely come back!”

“Went for dinner at opening time and there was no wait and restaurant was basically empty which I like. Immediately greeted and sat and provided menus. The service was outstanding, maybe due to how busy the establishment was at the time, but nonetheless outstanding!! Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and pleasant. The food was all soooooo good. Started with the soft shell crab which when delivered to the table had a small flame in the middle;great presentation!!! The fish was very fresh , and you could see the chefs making all the sushi to order which is great. Toll sizes were normal size about 8 pieces and all were delivered at once which I like. The restaurant is a little smaller with about 15 ish tables so I'm sure it can fill up quickly when busy. Desert was also great ❤️. Loved the presentation again as the flatware was very cute as you can see in the photos. Best sushi I have had in Virginia so far ❤️❤️❤️. Prices were reasonable for the amount of shushi and sake that we ordered and would def go back. Must try

We wanted a low key, chill wedding, and decided on stations and the pasta bar with a plethora of appetizers and the execution was a 10/10. We loved having the whole bar and restaurant to ourselves in Ballston and welcoming guests from across the country and being in the Commentary’s/Westin’s care. They took really great care of us and we couldn’t be more grateful for the most beautiful day of our lives.”

I completely forgot. everything was great. halal BBQ is a little different but it blew me away. I'll def revisit when I'm in Arlington again.”

“We got beyond lucky with MATTHEW’s Nationwide Movers as our moving company for our out of state move. They are extremely professional, yet very respectful and friendly company. Alex was the main guy. From the moment they showed up at the door, they made the process smooth and fast. They were 4 men including Alex. Very respectful to each other also. I cant speak enough how blessed we got with them. Not one broken piece, not one lost box. On top of that, they moved not only our belongings, they also put one of our cars on the truck. Kept in touch with us thru out the 3 day drive. Showed up at our new place, our car was already parked in the driveway. They covered the floors and walls for protection. Put every box and furniture in designated rooms. I know many families with so many scary stories and experiences. Lost, stolen and broken pieces and family heirlooms. Thank you Alex and crew! “I rarely write reviews, but my family and I had such a wonderful experience that I wanted to share it. We reserved a table for 6 for a birthday dinner for my brother and his family. The Waiter was superb, filling glasses each time they became even a bit low and promptly attending to us throughout our visit. He was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and had a fun sense of humor as well. The food was delicious. From the Bruschetta appetizer to our entrees, which ranged from Spaghetti and Meatballs to more sophisticated fare, each of us loved our food. The portions are generous and present a great value. Desert was tasty as well. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly as well. If you want high quality Italian food with excellent service at a fair price, then I highly recommend this restaurant.”

My son and I ordered our food to go since the place was crowded but we ended up eating the food in the car because it smelled so good. We both ordered the OKC burger with the combo. At first I was complaining about the extra $5 for the combo given that you receive a can soda. But once my food was ready I stopped immediately. They give you so many freshly cut fries it’s worth the extra $5 for sure. The burger was fresh, seasoned well and the sauce was everything! We woke up the next day thinking we should drive back which was around 45 minutes from where we live. I would definitely return. Sorry no pictures this review. We ate in the car so I didn’t have any free hands to take a pic. You should definitely try this though. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

“Glad Westville decided to open up a location in Virginia, and what better than Clarendon! Similar to the New York locations, everything tastes healthy-ish and homemade, but maybe better than most city dwellers could do at home. Also an easy venue if you’re dining in a big group with pick eaters - lots of protein and veggie options, and super friendly to allergies and dietary restrictions.

Personal favorite was the fish sandwich. Veggie sides are all good and taste healthy (no heavy feeling that I get sometimes from veggie sides at restaurants - maybe they use a healthier oil or fewer additives). Carrot cake was flavorful and had a great texture, and love that it looked homemade as well.

Interior feels like an old school diner, and is super clean. Outdoor patio looks like a great place to enjoy an aperol spritz during the summer.”

“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!”
