“What an awesome, cozy, little restaurant in Rescue, VA. The staff were inviting as we walked in and our server was knowledgeable of the menu. This was our first time here and we brought our twin God Daughters with us. The food was amazing! We had the crab dip which unlike most places, had more than enough dip to go with the pita slices. The calamari was also delicious. Both apps were well seasoned. I had the Admirals Feast for my main and she had the Captains. The coleslaw could have used more dressing but that's my only gripe with the meal. The twins had the Key Lime pie and Brownie Sundae for dessert. The whole experience was just great and well worth the 20 minute drive. Will be returning here again in the future! This place is a hidden gem.“

“First time visiting Si Senor in Carrolton! We were very impressed. The service was very fast, and our waiters were attentive and friendly. I had the taco salad which is a great choice for lunch if you want a healthier option; they don't skimp on veggies. Everything was so fresh! But the most important part...they do NOT play with their margaritas. They are delicious and perfectly strong. Fantastic happy hour! Definitely give this place a try if you want amazing margaritas and a quick Mexican lunch. Authentic and warm decor and music too!“

“Harpoon Larry’s is a fun bar! Erin was our bartender and she is EXCELLENT!! She kept us supplied with oyster shots and beverages, spent a few minutes talking to us, all while managing the bar that day. The seafood is great, the atmosphere was friendly, and we had a great time!“
“Amazing place for seafood lovers!! We both got platters with 4 options and everything was amazing. I got the fried stuff (flounder, shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari), very lightly battered, fried perfectly and juicy. The grilled stuff (flounder, oysters, shrimp, crab cake also) was also juicy and perfectly cooked. Fries, okra, sweet potato fries were delicious as well.Small snafu with my order was taken care of very quickly and with a smile. This was a dinner worth every penny and when I am back in the area I will be back for more!“

“Overall great food and service. I’ve visited twice now and both times I had a consistent experience for lunch. The first time I had the soft shell crab poboy and this time the seafood boil bowl with shrimp and sausage. The poboy was a very good size that won’t leave you hungry. The taste was great as well, I just needed a lil hot sauce which is just personal preference. The seafood boil bowl was a healthy serving size as well. I got the spicy level of heat which had me sweating the whole time but was still flavorful. I’ll likely lower down to mild next time though. The service was fast and my waiter was very enthusiastic.“
“Wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so we went on a Thrusday evening... made a reservation which was upheld and were promptly seated. Dinner was exceptional... again it was a weekday and not too busy. Our waiter was quick and attentive. The ambiance was awesome with the lights dim and soft music in the background. “I have tried nearly every Mexican restaurant in the area, in hopes of finding a good, crunchy Chimichanga ... this place is the winner for best Chimichanga! I also love the Tomatillo sauce for dipping ... fantastic! However, having said that my last experience was not so pleasant. Our server was not attentive at all .... AGAIN!. And were not offered free refills after returning with our checks. We were not even asked how the food was. The place was not crowded, so this should not have been an issue. I'm very disappointed in the customer service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian offerings!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is convenient and maneuverability is good.“

One thing I’m not used to, the waiter giving new utensils for every plate! I was like “oooo this is fancy!The service was awesome! I cannot say anything bad about the service. The food… was either hit or miss, let me explain.Course 1- Tuna Tartare, it was so good! The sriracha ice cream was great with it.Course 2- Shrimp and grits, it’s was … pretty sweet. I didn’t think it was bad, I enjoyed it. My husband said it tasted like pancake syrup ? so he wasn’t a big fan.Course 3- Crab cake, damn was this good! If I was to go back, I would order the crab cakes.Course 4- Grilled Octopus, no ??♀️ not a fan. It was pretty chewy, and the black beans it came with were so hard, we were confused on if they cooked the beans or not. I just moved them to the side and didn’t eat them.Course 5- Scallops, not bad. I’m not a big fan of scallops, but both tasting menus had them so I couldn’t avoid them.Course 6- Australian Wagyu Ribeye Cap, this was very good! The steaks was cooked perfectly, just yes.Course 7- Chocolate cake with cherry ice cream, SUCH A GOOD ENDING! I’ve never had cherry ice cream but I loved it!Overall I’m glad we got the 7 course, and not the 5. “Oh my! Loved this place! Me and my husband went for lunch today and EVERYTHING was AMAZING! Brittany was our server and she was an delight. It was our first time dining there and the atmosphere was great, food was FRESH and Brittany was very helpful with ordering! She also makes delish fudge! We had the white chocolate red velvet(I think that’s the name of it) it was my first time having gumbo and I must say I think that’s what gumbo should taste like! And that Grilled cheese…. Oh my! Laid back marina with upscale tastings. 360 views and little gift shops surrounding the restaurant to walk off them calories ?. --- I have not stayed at the hotel, but if it's anything like the rest of the property, you will feel right at home with a friendly staff and a calming atmosphere. I 10/10 recommend Smithfield Station Restaurant and Accommodations.“

“My food was delicious and plentiful. The only issue is as most reviews suggest the lady at the counter is definitely sassy or indeed rude. Interpretation depends on you. I thought she was sassy. She's there by herself taking orders and cooking. Be prepared to wait and BRING CASH!“

“We had a skrimp po boy which tasted fantastic with a nice kick plus a side of hushpuppies which were also great; we ordered everything as takeout and sadly by the time we got home the po boy was all but disintegrated however that did not take away from the quality at all, the portion of shrimp was pretty generous. We tried the gizzards too which seemed to be a new menu addition and while the portion was also decent they were not as good, fine but not great but then again it is a seafood place and not a chicken place mainly. The prices are alright and theres a lot of sitting space inside.“
