“Visit 03/10/24. As before with my post a week ago, the place was very clean from floors to tables and chairs. In South Hill, that is refreshing when I have visited. Other fast food restaurants in town over visits to South Hill tolerable but not as clean as Hardee's inside. The staff at Hardee's continues to show a friendly position and provide good service along with good food.Hardee's has stepped up with changes to their hamburger patty and fries recently. All the burgers are Angus Beef, according to staff. It is somewhat thin and pre-pressed, average in flavor and still large enough to fill the bun. The burger I selected, the Famous Star, sits on top of the chilled lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on a mayonnaise spread on a dependable bun that recently has been upgraded to hold its form better while eating. The French fries are no longer the string version, changed to the crinkle/wavy version, a little more potatoes and seasoning flavor. Good when fresh. Ketchup optional.Let us not forget about a nice apple pie turnover Hardee's offers to finish off the meal. Quite good, tasty and warm,for the offering.Hardee's has a good variety on the menu. I have had their chicken sandwich some time ago and was not impressed with the chicken patty. What was pictured on their food menu board was not what was provided. Hopefully Hardee's will eventually reconsider an alternative patty, a better patty for their chicken sandwich. That of course is my preference, but may be satisfactory to others. Their chicken strips and chick are good.Hardee's restrooms are usually clean. I have not used it anytime recently, but in the past, they have been adequately clean, again, better than some other fastfood restrooms. Lighting could stand an upgrade for better vision and comfort.Parking: free parking available. Wide lanes for cars to pass each other in the parking area. Handicapped parking alongside the building for access to the closest door entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: I assume the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair. The handicap parking area provides proper access to the sidewalk to the door. Couple of tables are available, if not occupied for wheelchair patrons.“
“My first time trying a whole vegan meal and it was delightful. Everything was about the same ingredients but I really enjoyed the Cheesesteak egg roll. My lunch companion also got the apple pie egg rolls which were delicious. The service was pleasant and quick and the portions were plentiful. Those hand squeezed juices are the bomb. I will recommend this to my other vegan and vegetarian friends.“
“Food was excellent. Would give 5 stars if the prices were more transparent. I ordered the deluxe on the menu that was $11, it says it comes with bacon and the owner confirmed it comes with fries. I got the check for $17, 2 dollars for tax and the rest was add-ons, which was apparently the fries and bacon according to the owner.I don't mind the price, but I do mind being tricked into paying it.“

“Went here for the first time today, looking for a good smash burger, and this place did NOT disappoint! I had the Weef burger (inspired by the owners wife) and my fiancé had the classic Cobra burger. Everything was amazing! Adam, the owner, helped us make great choices while engaging with us casually at the bar. I would absolutely come back! The fries, cobra style with the fry sauce ? I usually have leftovers when I leave an establishment..I ate everything with a smile! 10/10 highly recommend“

“No stranger to subs and sandwiches, but today I tried Potbelly for the first time at this location. I ordered the Italian in Original on White and had the most drool-worthy experience. The two staff people who assisted me were so helpful and kind. I got the savory broccoli cheddar soup in a cup, and a decadent smores cookie. Parking was a breeze too!“
“I heard that they had gluten free bread and was looking forward to trying it. I went in and asked for the gluten free bread. The server changed his gloves after he had any contact with any other bread after this. The next server was informed of this and changed his gloves as well. The original server got a knife out of the back that was cleaned appropriately and the knife was used for the rest of my service there with no contamination of any gluten products! I really appreciated this and I will forever recommend this restaurant!!! Also, the sandwich was absolutely delicious! Thank you!“

“It's clear not all Zaxby's are created equal. Been to several others near me and the chicken was barely tossed and tasted old. Not to mention them getting my order wrong. However, this particular Zaxby's on Mechanicsville was really good. The food was hot, chicken was tossed well and the customer service was great. This will be my preferred location when I go.“
“Order want correct the cashier put my order in again and still was wrong. Was suppose to have gotten 10 shrimps he gave me 6 again the cashier told him that I was missing 4 shrimps and holes give her a refund. But what takes the cake is when I called and talked to the manager about this problem he said what you want me to do.? The shrimps were super hard“
“Food is always prepared correctly. I mostly get delivery from here and the food is consistently correct and neatly made (I can't say so for another one in the area lol). They normally even label sandwiches which is great when you are getting several. Kudos to the team here“

I loved the friendliness respect I was shown but attention to detail was quite lacking.Dietary restrictions: I am on a low-carb diet and askwd for some conies with no bun. Their menu is not diet friendly, customers have to be creative about their own diets when ordering.“

“I had the country wrap at Kenn-Tico Wraps and it was absolutely delicious. The wrap was filled with tender slices of turkey breast, country ham, and chicken salad. All topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo. But the best part was their new habanero and ghost pepper hot sauce that I added to the wrap. It was so tasty and spicy, it got me sweating. It was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. If you love spicy food, you have to try this hot sauce. Kenn-Tico Wraps is my favorite food cart in Richmond. They have fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a great variety of wraps to choose from. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch.“
“This location has some of the best employees, each time we come in. They are always nice and friendly. If there is a mess up they are quick to fix the issue without any problems. You may wait a little bit for the food but it comes out hot and fresh. We made to sure to tell Hugo how well we liked the service. Sean is also a delight each time we go through the drive thru. “I was excited to see the Canes on Arthur Ashe Blvd.. Definitely a different type of fast food in the area. I just went through the drive thru and my order was taken swiftly. The young woman who took my order was friendly. The ambiance of pulling into the drive thru was a little cramped. It is understandable though because of the location. I wish it had more than one entrance and exit. As you try and exit you block those coming in. The combo I got was good. I live the cane sauce it really set off the chicken. Good experience I'll return and go inside to eat .“

“I spoke with two staff, both were very pleasant. What’s my beef? I’m a vegetarian and I order the veggie sub. I guess there are standard alottments per item, right? People who don’t eat meats get really hungry also. The sub is basically sandwhich toppings on a roll; I not sure I’d call it a salad w bread. I didn’t even request cheese. When the staff member completed the sub, I was asked if I wanted anything else. I looked at it and saw right off that the lettuce didn’t even go from end to end. This is a common event at sub shops. The content of the sandwhich needs to be fairly equal along the length of the sub. Who wants to finish a sub with clean hands holding a nub of dry bread?! I requested a bit more lettuce. For a sub that has no protein, please pile on the lettuce for substance eventhough it’s mostly water. Anyone should feel satiated after a 12” sub. This thing was an appetizer! For an $8 sandwhich which is mostly lettuce and then precise amounts of toppings- what can that cost? Maybe $2. I know about overhead and $8 isn’t too much these days for a 12” sub. Make it a thing a person would come back for. It was supposed to be my lunch and dinner bc I expected to be full afterward. I ate that an hour ago and I’m wishing I had something for dinner. My bad?Maybe. Sub sandwhiches should be overflowing and a mess. I got a tea sandwhich to sit with the ghost of the Queen. Next!“
“One of my fav go to spots to grab something quick and cooked. Its mainly carryout and the parking in the area can be a little scarce at times. The food is tasty & portion size reasonable. Only complaint is the salmon size, as its sliced very thin.“
