“Was traveling and stopped in New Kent and did a search for best rated restaurants. Although a bit of a drive from where we were, absolutely worth it. My wife and I ate and had drinks at the bar. Excellent service, especially for bar seating for a meal. Bartender was friendly and talented at his craft. Food was among the very best restaurants I have eaten at across the country.“

“As always, Cochon was absolutely perfect, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the service and the price. It is by far our favorite restaurant in Virginia and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an absolutely wonderful dining experience.“

“I ended up here because a place down the street was closed, boy did I luck into a great restaurant. The atmosphere is very casual and the overall noise level made it possible to have a conversation without raising your voice in the bar area. The food was prepared well and the Gouda grit cake was an unexpected treat.Would definitely go back when I'm in the area!“

“Great little Italian restaurant. Have been here twice and got the flounder lemoncello both times. Delicious! 4 of us for Mothers day/birthday and we all enjoyed our meals. Not too noisy. Waiter was good. Helpful but not overbearing. Nice salad and garlic knots served family style before the meal.“

“This is a busy spot. We had great food and fabulous service. Wish we had gotten the young lady's name because she was truly awesome. We had to add a guest at the last minute and the host was not as accommodating as I might have hoped. The restaurant wasn't too busy at an early lunchtime so not sure why he had to make an ugly face. The gazpacho and shrimp salad made up for the strange welcome and the freshly baked berry cobbler was an extraordinary way to finish.“

“Good food and friendly service. The pancakes were really good. We ordered the country fried steak plate (special on the front blackboard, not on regular menu), chocolate chip pancakes, 2-2-2 plate and the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was very small, like for kids, so don't expect big portions. It tasted good though.“

“An excellent diner in throwback fashion with Southern hospitality and tremendous food. Jackie our waitress was warm, charming and attentive. Great food, great ambience and friendly service. From a NJ native where diners abound, this one is a gem.“

“The food was wonderful. I ordered the Cheesesteak fries They were good, but I was sorry I didn't get a traditional sandwich. Hubby got the Pizza Steak and I preferred his. The amount of food is phenomenal. We could have split a large sandwich and fries easily BUT hubby managed to eat the 10" all by himself lol. The fries were too much for me. Prices were not ridiculous and the service was friendly. Restaurant was super clean and welcoming.“

“One of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to, in the whole United States! More than 20 dinners entrees on the menu plus 5-6 specials, to choose from. I ordered the scallops dinner (second to none!) and my friend tried the triggerfish from the specials list. Our appetizer (tuna bites- recommend!! ) was brought 3-4 min after we placed the order, while the dinner itself arrived within 6-7 minutes(!!! ?) and it was cooked to perfection! The decor is impressive (I loved the colorful jelly fish over the bar ) and the attention from the waiters will please the most demanding clients. Wonderful restaurant for any occasion!“

“On Sept 9 2022 my friends visited Carrabba in Williamsburg during our excusion. The server, Laura, was more of a treat than what we could have imagined. She was friendly, acompandating to us, the seasoned ladies. She knew what to say and how to interpret facial expressions. She didn't get upset when a dish had to be sent back. The manager was gracious also. But Laura, is the consummate server and needs to train others on how to be kind to others whether you want to or not. Give her a Raise!!! We will be back.“

“After a late night at Busch gardens, our family of 6 cruised by and was very pleasantly surprised by how DELICIOUS the food was.At first, the service was slow to start, but their amazing mozzarella sticks were impressive to say the least. The generous Prosecco pour was greatly appreciated followed by the from scratch Italian wedding soup which was out of this world. The family enjoyed bruschetta, meatball parm subs, cheesesteak subs, a buffalo chicken pizza, and kids tenders and cheese ravioli which was all absolutely spectacular.I honestly can’t wait to go back to Busch gardens so we can eat here again! Definitely recommend!“

“Excellent food and service as always. We have never had a bad meal here, so thought it time to share. The raw oysters and the fried oyster toast were amazing. The Bibb lettuce with pickled asparagus, strawberries and goat cheese salad is 10/10. Their house burger didn't disappoint either. All the cocktails were excellent. Our server Bryan was friendly and did a great job as well, had perfect timing.“

“It was alright, our waitress took our order and brought us our food and we didn't see her until we finished, another waitress passing helped us with SOME of our needs ( refills, syrup, coffee, water, etc...(, my pancakes were huge but heavy and dry, the atmosphere was probably ok, but I went thirsty for most of my meal...“

“Was trying to do the survey on line, but it kept telling me it was down, so I'm just going to write a review. Went to Mellow Mushroom for the first time on April 12th and our server was Autumn. She was the best! She had the best personality, very knowledgeable with the menu and very attentive. We loved it so much we returned on April 14th and was very happy to have Autumn again. Thank you Autumn for making my first time a very positive experience. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely go back and hope to have Autumn again.“
“We had the best time. We love this place. If you are ever in Williamsburg, The Silverhand Meadery is a must stop. Learning about the history of how the honey frome the bees along with fruit and the different spices used to make the meads and honey is amazing. Moondance, ALL Blues, Heat Waves are some of the meads available for tasting. This place is also a great place for you to get to get together with the girls and have a blast.“

“We loved this truly authentic Italian restaurant. I ordered the carbonara, which I am used to the "americanized" version. I was very pleasantly surprised to see it served with bucatinni! My husband ordered the NY strip dish, which had a beautiful crust and great flavor trapped inside. They have a large wine and drink menu, and available bar for those who prefer that seating. Our server was great and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the atmosphere and vibes inside this gem. I would absolutely come back and recommend others to enjoy food here as well.“

“Exquisite local Italian food. Ingredients were so fresh. Had a great and lively environment. Our server, Chip, was amazing. Our drinks never went empty, our table was cleared promptly, and he was very pleasant. We ordered the mozzarella sticks to start, which we thought were just okay. We would have liked more seasoning on the breadcrumbs. The bread was cold. Salads were average. However, the entrees did not disappoint. The lemon butter chicken pasta was divine. Has just the right amount of lemon taste. The 4 cheese tortellini was delicious as well. The sauce was what made the dish so delicious. However, the chicken parm was the star of the show. Everything about it was perfection. Overall, we would come again. Portions were large enough to split and we were still stuffed. We will have to come back for dessert.“

“Simply spectacular! The queen and I visited Casa Pearl over the weekend for a birthday dinner and we're already looking for another reason to visit.Low key, casual dining, with an incredibly upscale service and menu offering. We went with the hush puppies, golden salad with fried oysters, baked clams and fish tacos. We aren't normally raw oyster people, but the server talked us into trying them and we weren't disappointed! We got 6 on the half shell - 2 from each variety - and wanted more! Great flavor in every dish. Perfect size for sharing between us, with just enough room left over for the key lime triffleThis is full on Zeppelin-level rock and roll - come and enjoy the wonderful selection, I guarantee ? you won't be disappointed.“

“Book with anticipation, I booked with almost 3 months and I was close not to get a reservation. I had a great time. I went for my anniversary and they gifted me a nice card and the musician played us a song that George Washington played for his wife. The food was really good. The menu will give you references from the actual recipes. My husband had Tomas Jefferson champagne and it was really good. We had for dessert Egg Clouds and it was delicious! I highly recommended. The service was excellent and you'll go back in time with the restaurant vibes.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at Opus 9. We were celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary in Williamsburg and decided to splurge a little with a fun night at a higher end steakhouse. We started with an order of the calamari, which was cooked to perfection. The salad with blue cheese dressing was just right. My wife enjoyed a wonderful 8oz filet and I went with an aged New York strip cooked to a perfect medium rare. Dessert was wonderful and a perfect finish to a great dining experience. Our waiter, Fredo, was incredible. He brought the whole evening together for us with outstanding service worthy of a top end steakhouse. He made the evening perfect for us with his excellent attentive service. The experience and ambiance of the evening as a whole was wonderful and I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great evening out.“

I had the Caesar salad, it was well seasoned and it was more than plenty. I personally think you can't go wrong with any off their dishes. I can't wait to go back.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level.“

“To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have never found a restaurant to rival my local mexican place however, now I found one to surpass it and it is 4.5 hours away!! All jokes aside, my husband and I both ordered the Nachos Texanos. Both were made to our requests and were absolutely delicious. We ordered takeout from their online menu and it was super easy. The portions were enough that we were full after about half so we had leftovers. The meat was cooked very well. The meal had shrimp on it and they were full sized shrimp which is usually hard to get with nachos. It had a nice spice to it but wasn't too overpowering. We spent about $45 for 2 of us which included the meals, cheese and tip. But we got 4 meals out of it so was well worth the price.I may need to plan a trip back to Williamsburg just to be able to get some more food from here!“
“Such a cool and interesting local distillery that focuses on preserving American spirits techniques, specifically what was being made in the Jamestown/Williamsburg area during the colonial period. Check out the tour and then sample some drinks in the tap room!“

“A small, brewery in Williamsburg with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a mix of beers available on tap and in can. Most of their experimental beers are in a can, so you do need to buy one to taste it. My husband, brother and I decided to share a flight and a smoothie sour. The beer is pretty darn good. I loved the kolch and California common. It was clean, crisp, and had great flavor. The smoothie sour was more sour than smoothie in my opinion. They also have snacks and sometimes a hotdog stand outside.“

“Even though it was a rainy Sunday, our party of four really enjoyed our brunch. With a view of the vineyard, we lazily dined on the turkey & brie, BLT, shrimp & grits and eggs benedict with Virginia ham which were all outstanding. We also enjoyed the extended wine tour after the brunch, well worth the time and expense.“

“These are, hands down, the best cookies I have ever eaten! Other "specialty" cookie shops rely on high sugar content and flashy flavor profiles that never deliver. Celli's Chocolate Chips focuses on the perfect balance between flavor, texture and sugar content. They are able to keep their prices competitive while using higher quality ingredients than anyone else in the market. I found absolutely no flaw in all the flavors I've tried.“
“Stopped in after a tour of Jamestown Colony and it was just great. The food truck had an excellent selection and was super tasty. The beers everyone had were excellent. Some delicious IPAs, and a real good stout as well. Also being on the water just makes this place a perfect stop for a nice lunch and couple beers following a tour.“

“We found this place while on vacation.. We were looking for some Virginia style cuisine and found a treasure.. Our waitress’s were amazing and kind. “Listened to Emma about the fish n chips as she sat us down. I was there with my friend and we were here for some grub. Victoria (the waitress) (Congrats to her as she graduates from college!) was very knowledgeable about the menu as we'd gotten the seafood nachos. I'd had the fish n chips which was a really good flounder. The chips were good too. My friend got the seafood pot pie that looked really good. All was good....except the water. I like to drink water with a lemon and the lemon had died and sank to the bottom of my glass. Other than that, the place was great. Also, great to know that kettlecorn place was still in the area and got some of that! Yes! You can't come to Williamsburg and not get the kettlecorn.“

“While visiting Williamsburg, Va, my husband and I initially tried going to the Colonial Pancake House. We saw a lot of people waiting outside, so we decided to go to Capitol Pancake House for breakfast. Was easy to find a parking spot close to the entrance. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. We were also immediately sat. I ordered the catfish breakfast and my husband ordered a Grecian omelet with a side of peanut butter pancakes. The portions are big, enough to skip lunch. I have to say the catfish was cooked perfectly, probably the best tasting catfish I ever had. It was very crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was seasoned perfectly just the way I like it. I didn’t have any need to add any tartar or hot sauce. My husband said his meal was delicious. The server we had was friendly and offered additional options. The price is also good for the quality food and service. Only complaint was the large orange juice was $6. Will definitely come back again!“
“We visit Williamsburg from DC 4 to 5 times a year and always make this a stop. Fantastic beer, great atmosphere, lovely staff, games for kids. Food wise they have a great rotation of food trucks otherwise it's just snacks. It's a must go.“

“A gem in Williamsburg! Great breakfast spot with a nice variety, ample parking, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Lots of regulars and they are welcomed warmly. We had the garden omelet, breakfast burrito, oatmeal and corned beef hash. All were piping hot and delicious. The oatmeal came with ample " fixings" which was great. The booths and tables are very diner-like but perfect. We want to return to try other options.“

“Food and service were both top notch. JJ was our server and he made us feel like we were his only customers. He was friendly, quick, thoughtful, and knowledgeable of the menu. He was able to make great recommendations when we were unsure of what to order. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the special barbacoa bowl, lemon ricotta pancakes, breakfast tacos, Belgian waffle, specialty drinks, and eggs and bacon. Everything was made to perfection. Before we left we were already making plans to go back again!“

“This place won an award for best customer service however yesterday they must of stayed up all night because they were not on the spot for great customer service.. the welcome greating was "I'm tired of saying Welcome to Moes (at 230 pm.) then when I asked for grilled oinions and no green pepper you would of thought I asked him to grilled me new without peppers.. but he stabbed at the onions (letting out an audible sigh) throwing the oinions around and pepper ending up in the corn. However, the next couple of preparers were extremely nice and made up for the first guy lack of attention and customer service qualities. I told them congratulations for their award and the cashier was extremely proud that I acknowledge their accomplishment.Vegetarian options: You can just about change all menu items to vegetarian by changing the meat out to beans. I changed the stack to beans.“

“Great dinner at Blue Talon. Our meal was delicious - a number of starters which was perfect after our long day. Service was fine. They did everything right. Just not the hospitality that makes you feel like a welcomed guest. Definitely order the clam chowder, truffle fries, beef tartare, and cake dessert. Skip the oysters, they didn't have much flavor, though the relish/salad they were served with were quite good. Had a nice cocktail and a lovely bubbly rose.“
