“The fish and chips were very good. I was disappointed the soup of the day was not ready at lunchtime. Atmosphere was casual, I sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze off the water and the overhead heaters. Service was friendly and welcoming.“

“If I were going to suggest anything, it would be to put a sign or something outside! It's tucked inside a minimall near a half dozen other eateries and a movie theater. Once we found it . . . True hospitality and wonderful food. I had cioppino and my husband the lamb ragu. Both were terrific. Highly recommend.“
“Beautiful area to have an event and the staff is lovely. Just want future people to know that residents are able to hear all toasts and speeches and music. The entire community knows your business. If full names, places are used the community can hear it. If you do not want this I would set noise limit with your wedding planner or whomever is in-charge of that.“

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at. Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails. The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom. Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!“

“Seattle’s own “Real Fisherman’s Wharf.” Good service, great food, not fussy or pretentious. The price is reasonable and the quality is consistent. When I have guests in town, Chinook’s is always on the list of places to go. In a single word “Seattle.”“

“I never leave reviews but the dinner and service at The Garrison is outstanding! They have a newly expanded menu that was hard to choose from. Everything looked amazing… and it was! We got to eat in the newly remodeled back room that is absolutely stunning! The other noteworthy mention is the presentation of all of our dishes were thoughtful and very beautifully put together. Overall, love this addition to our Ballard neighborhood. Can’t wait to try brunch!“

“2/12/25 My family and I were trying to go to a different restaurant in the same area that apparently had just closed down ruining our dinner plans. So we stumbled into this place unaware that they technically just closed (hours were wrong on maps). Our order was taken and we were planning on sitting down to eat, we were extremely politely told that they actually closed 5 minutes ago. He just wanted to let us know, but they would still allow us to eat inside. I was horrified since I had worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I would never walk into a place 30 minutes ago before closing, let alone 5 minutes after closing. Both of the gentlemen behind the counter insisted it was ok, but I requested it to go instead because I refused to make them stay late. The food was fantastic and the two employees went above and beyond to get my family fed. Thank you!!!“

“Wonderful, crispy fresh halibut and some of the best clam chowder I have had in a long time….The owners are from Greece (one of the best places I have ever lived!) and definitely know how to cook!
This clean, counter service spot is right across from Alki beach…sit inside, outside on their patio or take your food down to the waterfront like we did.
Highly recommend!“

“Love coming here great Filipino food.“
“There's a beautiful mural on the outside of the building. The company owns commercial fishing ships that fish the waters of Alaska for much of the year. Fish payload is offloaded in Alaska and the ships do not return until winter. This allows the docks to also be used for loading passengers on cruise ships. Otherwise, the area is not open to the public.“

“My husband and I dined at The Boat Shed last night for the first time. We almost left because we couldn’t find a parking space. I’m so glad we didn’t. We were seated by the sweetest hostess and taken to our table right by the water. We were quickly greeted by our server, Jerri. She couldn’t have been more helpful and personable. She explained the specials and gave us her recommendations. We ordered the Parmesan baked mushrooms-yum! We shared the crab cobb and scallops which were both delicious! For dessert we shared the blackberry crisp. Each bite was excellent and we were so pleased with our dinner. Regardless of the great food and restaurant, our server, Jerri, made our experience exceptional! What a special treat! We will return and ask for her. Thank you Jerri!“

“I just waited an hour to find out that my server forgot about me and never put in my order. I'm a party of one person in an uncrowded section. At the very least the guy apologized but come on.“

“Ordered the crab stuffed shrimp with a side of asparagus. The shrimp were overcooked to the point of being rubber. The crab was like nothing I've had before. No taste all. The whole meal was like warm at best. Asparagus was not warm enough to melt butter. Spouse had Filllet Mignon and it was fine but only like warm. Service was great.“

“I get my Sullys To Go because I don’t like people. The food is amazing every single time! it’s like you were sitting there, but without all the people to bother you. The food is great and the portions are large. This is just a hidden gem so don’t tell too many of your friends.“

“I came in right as they opened today and was welcomed right away. I ordered a Raspberry Jalisco Mule and Tortilla Soup with shredded chicken. I have to say the soup was one of the best tortilla soups I have had in a long time. you were even able to choose your flavors and spice level because a plate was brought out with tortillas, limes, onions, cilantro, chili crisp, avocado, jalapeno, and I don't remember the other seasoning but it was phenomenal. I can't wait to try more of the menu and continue to support local! Diablo's is definitely a place that should be on everyone's list to at least try and then frequent.“

“I’ve been here many times, but most recently this past weekend, and was served by the lovely Anna. Service here can sometimes feel a little impersonal and rushed, but, Anna took excellent care of our small party and made us feel welcome. Thank you! And watch out for Chads everywhere ;)“

“Best pho I’ve had since moving here from the city, where I was spoiled for choice. Broth is key in my book, and they do it well. They are also one of the few locations that my partner can get vegetarian broth (that isn't bland, either). Service is excellent, clean and inviting atmosphere. Very happy to have this spot in town! Plus: bubble tea!
Vegetarian options: Veggie pho that is actually vegetarian. A lot of places in this area seem to use chicken broth as the base for their “vegetarian” pho.“

“They don't have any Quiznos where I live anymore. I thought they went out of business till I saw they were up here in Washington. I had my large traditional and thought I died and went to heaven! I have no clue why they went out of business in Oregon. The Rosemary bread is the best bread you can have on any sandwich and really missed it“

“Delicious food but disappointing on their hours. I wanted to purchase foccaia bread and tried email and phone and never received an answer. We came by boat and had a delicious late lunch. We live in Bonney Lake and I was coming back to get bread but no contact and I tried several times. They should open for at least lunch, missing a lot of guests. I was going to take my kids there when we drove back for a meeting but closed for lunch on a Thursday.“

“First, ignore the comments about the menu. They have plenty of authentic dishes and options for those who want variety. We had a burrito esencia and it was delicious. It had more flavor than most of the Mexican restaurants in the area. The burrito sauce was very good and their homemade chips were excellent, super crunchy, fresh and hot. We chose beef and it was a high quality ground beef, flavorful and not the cheap stuff so many use. The veggies were fresh and the guacamole had good flavor. I hope they work on their outside lighting and atmosphere, but honestly the food was great and that’s what really matters. The burrito was so large, my wife and I split it and still took home enough for another meal.“

“Quietly one of the best restaurants in the area. La Rustica gave us a wonderful experience. We got the wild boar special and the risotto with fillet mignon and both were incredible dishes. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and the care for the craft they have for authentic and delicious Italian food is amazing. We will be back for more.“

“A truly delightful and unique culinary experience! Every dish, from the cocktails to the appetizers and main course, was perfectly prepared, featuring a creative mix of ingredients I had never tried before.
I highly recommend starting with the crab toast and chicory salad—both beautifully balanced in flavor and texture. For the main course, the lingcod was exceptional, cooked to perfection with fresh, unexpected ingredients that elevated the dish. The cocktails were fresh, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of alcohol to complement the meal. Don’t forget dessert, the panna cotta was to die for!
Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If you appreciate meals crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a touch of the unexpected, this spot is a must-visit!“
