“Quick good pizza by the slice with several varieties. The employee at the counter was friendly, and helpful as it was our first visit. The bathrooms were ok- they were stocked and fairly clean. Overall, it is a comfy, family friendly, casual environment. An added bonus is that it is relatively inexpensive. I would come here again for a return visit!“

“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.“

“Ultimate comfort food for a typical rainy Seattle afternoon. Although there was limited seating, it felt more like a take-out joint. However, the staff went above and beyond letting me enjoy my meal comfortably in my car when I couldn't find a spot.“

“We ordered a dish that we wanted to have a bit more sauce. Everything is made to order and would have taken a minute. Another order was placed for Tikki Masala and they made extra for us. Little things make a business shine. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner.“

“Definitely the BEST traditional brunch spot I've had in Seattle - they deserve their spot on the top 100 brunch spots of Yelp! Super cute, small cafe with 7 tables indoors and 2 outdoors and full tables even on a Thursday at noon. Definitely come on a weekday with a reservation if you can! The Alla Boscaiola was delicious and cheesy; the Eggs Benedict with Pancetta was the best benedict I've had in Seattle! Highly recommend their smashed potatoes as well. Service was friendly and gratuity of 20% is automatically added. Check their special board on the wall - they had a crab benedict up today that I didn't notice until too late. It's in a neighborhood where you'll need to find residential street parking, which I would assume to be difficult on the weekends.“

“Tasty food, amazing beers and ciders, and incredibly friendly staff! One of them bought me and my date a round of drinks for doing them a solid and moving to the bar from a table, so a larger group could sit down. Legit zakuski as well, the fish platter appetizer went hard! Definitely coming back to this place. ??“

“We came at 6:45 PM on a Saturday night as a party of 2, and waited a half hour for a table. While we waited, we enjoyed a cocktail at Barnacle! Once we were seated at The Walrus & The Carpenter, we ordered some sparkling water, and enjoyed the following items in this order: We started with their bread and whipped butter-the bread that they served was wonderful, and they had two styles of bread. We ordered 4 oysters to split. We like that you can get as many or as few oysters as you wish. We chose the "Sapphire" oysters, and had our waiter pick one, the "Blue Pool". Both were fresh, and served with a champagne vinaigrette. Everyone's preference in an oyster is subjective-we liked the contrast of these two. I ended up preferring the "Blue Pool", but there is no such thing as a wrong choice of oyster. They were of the best quality they could be. The Albacore crudo (crudo=raw/undercooked) came next-this was light, and brightly flavored. This was so fresh and creamy, and the vinaigrette this came with tied all the elements of this dish together. We tried this on some of our bread. We can never resist calamari. Their poached calamari had the right amount of breading, and the black garlic aioli was wonderful. Another thing we dipped our bread into. We enjoyed the chicken liver mousse, which was very robust in flavor. The texture of the mousse is perfect, we are glad that we waited to enjoy this towards the end of our dining experience though-the mousse has a strong flavor that would have . We ended with the lemon posset, which was tart and sweet. We ordered the 24-carrot magic, a cocktail that was Moroccan inspired, with coconut and carrot. The Moroccan spices with the mezcal was heavenly. This is a very unique cocktail, and apparently a newer addition to their menu. We loved their decor-they have a cool chandelier, and their interior is cozy. They are a splurge, but it was well worth our time and money.“

“Looking for Asian food in Seattle. Found this gem. You know it's authentic when you struggle to order because of the language barrier. No matter, I'm working through it and so are they. Food was pretty dang good. M said the drunken noodle was good but not great and I liked my Generals chicken. Going to try them again and other items in the menu like my fav, baby birds nest combination.“

“Seattle’s own “Real Fisherman’s Wharf.” Good service, great food, not fussy or pretentious. The price is reasonable and the quality is consistent. When I have guests in town, Chinook’s is always on the list of places to go. In a single word “Seattle.”“

“Stopped in for some food and it was decent, just your average bar food. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. Plenty of dogs walking around enjoying themselves and saying hi to everyone. Ambiance was pretty dive bar esk but nice. Would stop in for a beer again but maybe pass on the food.“
“Craig and the rest of the Rooftop Brewing crew run a warm and welcoming experience. While most of the seating is outside it is still cozy with a very easy going atmosphere. A few TVs to catch the game but not too distracting like a bar only focused on sports. Just the right balance. There are heaters to keep you at a good temperature even when mother nature decides to challenge you.Bonus is a food truck only feet away to keep you nourished as you sip your tasty brew.“
“Always great beer creations and friendly staff.“

“First time visit to Sloop and the vibe took me back to my fave bar in SF, House of Shields (with an extra hundred years history) I will return to check out the bar scene Tried the fish and chips and hamburger and both were delicious The fish was fresh and the tempura batter was crusty My pooch loved the halibut The chips were plentiful and unsalted which I very much appreciated The hamburger had grilled onions which lent a wonderful sweetness The potato salad was superb and an incredibly generous portion The bartender was friendly and efficient Will return“

“Copine was an incredible experience. To be clear, it was one of the best, if not the best restaurant we have ever tried- New York, LA, Copenhagen, Seattle. Truly, we dont know how it is not booked out for months. It was WAY BETTER than Canlis- and an of the other high end Seattle restaurants. Every dish was a delight- unique flavors, genius combinations, unbelievably thoughtful wine AND non alcoholic pairings, with perfectly sized portions. The service was amazing. Staff knew every dish, despite it being changed every Thursday. They told stories about the food and were deeply responsive to our preferences. PLEASE COME HERE.“

“WOW! We have been local Ballardites for years and have walked past this place so many times and never tried it. A friend had told us about their kid’s playroom, so we visited tonight and had the best experience!! First of all, the place is huge and spacious with lovely jazz music playing and a nice, quiet atmosphere. Second, the staff is the FRIENDLIEST in all of Ballard!!! They care so much about their patron’s experience and it shows. They are also SO friendly towards kids, leading to the most important feature for parents - a GIANT high ceiling, light-filled beautiful room just for kids and families! It’s such a haven!!! Super clean and ceiling to floor windows looking out towards a peaceful garden. What a hidden gem! Complete with every toy a child could ask for. You can even eat at select tables inside the room (there are just a handful of them), but you can also sit on the long table just outside and keep an eye on your kiddo. The food was good, I love the fried potato patties with corn and the spicy tuna roll.We will be back frequently and have already told ALL our friends about it!!Thank you to the wonderful staff for spreading such a loving energy to Ballard. ❤️❤️“

“This is our go to neighborhood cafe. The staff is great. The baked goods and coffee are top notch. They also sell and make drinks with Lighthouse Coffee which is my favorite Seattle roaster. If you live or are visiting do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup.“

“Went for the first time yesterday and so happy I did. Great food, music and service. I had the Turkey Club sandwich which was the best Club I've had in quite some time. The quality and prep of the ingredients is what made it shine- fresh, ripe tomatoes, crispy lettuce, lean and real (not pressed) turkey, and toasted sourdough (seemed homemade). Coffee was fantastic too. I live close by and can't believe I hadn't found this place. It'll be my new go to diner in the hood.“

“Walked in here with our two kids under 2yo after leaving the cafe across the street because it didn’t meet our needs. The food here was amazing and priced significantly more reasonable. Julia is an absolute artist on the panini press! She then played peekaboo with our toddler, giving us a moment to enjoy our food. She is an absolute saint and we can’t recommend this place any more highly!“
