“We walked around trying to find a breakfast with indoor seating, and after a few locations, we found the gem of Seattle! We were met with kindness, love, and treated like family! You know, the ones you really love to see and look forward to seeing! Those family members! We literally stayed because the hostess (one of owners daughters), was so inviting and welcoming! But let me tell you, the portions are amazing, the food is authentic Filipino with American Diner flare and the conversations Greg (The Owner) was just as fulfilling. Greg's story is one of triumph, soro, and rebirth! If you get a chance to speak with him, be prepared to be enlightened and ready to pay it forward! The Silog Combo is a must try! Greg and his family are absolutely amazing, and we look forward to returning!“
“I have a soft spot for this place as it was the place of my first date with my now fiancé, the service is always top tiered and I love the throwback music that's playing that gives me a sense of nostalgia. If I'm being honest, the food there is very good but it is astronomically over priced and they don't even give you a large amount for the price you pay which is why I don't really come here often. I've been to other restaurants who give bigger entrees, more variety and reasonably priced that have had better food. I ordered the corn guacamole to start, for two it's a small helping but it was very good. As my entree I ordered the ravioli bianco and my fiancé ordered a burger, they were both very good but the amount was pretty scant, especially given my dish cost around $34. Not a bad place to eat at all but you are going to be paying some pretty steep prices dining here.“
“My favorite brunch place in Seattle. I absolutely LOVE their Dutch pancakes, they are perfect. My husband loves their classic breakfast plate and says it's simple but perfect. And we're both fiends for their special house made ketchup... so much so that I asked if I could have a side to take home.. haha. Also love their service, the waitresses are super warm and nice which elevated the experience. I would come here every week if I could.“
“Our favorite Seattle restaurant. We visit at least once a month. The menu is always creative with seasonal additions and with the finest quality ingredients. Service is always top-tier! The bar and bartenders are excellent at their craft and the cocktail selections pair so perfectly with the menu - FlintCreek knows what they are doing!Make a reservation and celebrate a special event, this experience will exceed your expectations!Parking: Parking lot just south of the venue, lots of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry at street.Mention you need accommodation when making your reservations and they will seat you downstairs. They are great about this!“
“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! Overall will be back, the prices, the community vibe, and how much you can tell the owners care about their patrons shows. This place tends to be busy with regulars for a reason!“
“Very charming neighborhood restaurant in Cap Hill. Food was great and ambiance 10/10. However, our server wasn’t very friendly /borderline rude which we looked past. I was also a bit disappointed in the quality of their craft cocktails featured for Cocktail week.“
“DANIEL IS THE BEST! we had such a wonderful experience thanks to our waiter, Daniel. he was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to ensure our drinks were full and our needs were met. his friendly demeanor and quick service really enhanced our evening. 100/10“
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!“
“As a huge fan of barrel aged spirits & smoked meats this is THE place to visit in the market.Smoked & deep fried chicken thighs & a house barrel aging program make this cozy joint a must spot on any decadent tour of Downtown.Staff & service is always friendly, informative & on point.“
“If you appreciate authenticity and being at the top of your game, in terms of food, drinks and staff, Life on Mars is for you. They are good people caring for their little corner of Capitol Hill, and damn that's a tough thing to do sometimes, yet still they persevere. So grateful this place exists.“
“5 Spot is my favorite diner in Seattle! My friend visited from out of town and we had a delicious breakfast in the bar. Nicky was amazing! So sweet and friendly - really added to an overall positive experience.Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan and love all of the options!“
“Best corned beef hash, French toast and biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! Made with care, fresh and unusual ingredients, and served in a lovely, comfortable and unpretentious space by people who are excited to be there.Great coffee too, with free refills!“
“This place is absolutely adorable and has the best vibe! The decor makes you feel like you’re in a safe place, and the service backs that feeling up. The food is fantastic too! Highly recommend attending Drag Brunch on Sunday, the queens are insanely talented and the atmosphere is electric! JT behind the bar is amazing, and the drinks are delicious and creative! Highly recommend the Buzz Bunny. Food-wise, Chicken and Beignets gives a wonderful twist on the classic chicken and waffles, complete with soft serve! You read that correctly. You really can’t go wrong with a visit to Kamp Social House, where you’ll be treated to an amazing meal by gorgeous and considerate humans!“
“Parking is very easy on weekdays (except Friday), especially after 9 pm but it can get packed during weekends. Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.“
“One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!“
“I have been here twice now and the food is great. I typically go for their BLT . They serve it with biscuits, poached eggs, collard greens , bacon, tomato jam, sweet chilies and mayo.My husband likes their fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. I really like their biscuits and I find myself going here when I miss wandering goose or the biscuit and bean. I really do wish they would serve mushroom gravy. Service is good.“
“Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.“
“A must try! One of my favorite joints in the NATION. Burger was amazing, wings were to for die for, but the homemade sourdough pasta topped with brisket was the game changer. Every visit has been 10/10. Great food, tasty drinks, nostalgic music, and friendly service.“
“What a lovely gem!Came here with mother and wife on a Saturday for lunch and were really impressed by the food. The fried oyster po boy was something out of this world! I never knew you could have such good po boy outside of Louisiana ?Wife ordered the lamb gnocchi which was also very delicious! ? We also ordered a warm beet salad and a cannoli which we liked as well.Their lunch menu is quite reasonable. And their proximity to Green Lake makes this place an ideal fueling station after your run or biking tour. ?“
“Easily some of the best pasta and flatbread pizza around Seattle. Yet to find a friend who hasn’t completely fallen in love with their food.Drinks are pretty okay, not the biggest fan of their flavors. But they got some really good ones hidden among more meh ones“
“I had a FABULOUS nonalcoholic cocktail, the name escapes me, but it was definitely the best NA I've ever had. The mouthfeel resembled real alcohol. Very impressive. My butternut squash soup was very flavorful, but for my tastes was a bit too thick. My date's cauliflower steak was not tender, but otherwise tasty. The management did not end up charging him for it, which was commendable.I would definitely return to try their steaks and more cocktails!“
“Amazing dinner experience! The chef has exquisite taste, his Foie gras is so perfectly cooked, best in Seattle 100% Last time we had it in Maximillien and it was complete disgrace to both product and french cuisine Great choice if wines for very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend Omakase experience.“
“Taylor was pretty amazing, she attended all of our drinks, and services. It was amazing to talk to her and know where she’s from because it’s an area where I’d like to visit. She’s was friendly and had a good amount of recommendations. Thank you Taylor. ?“
“My team and I had the most wonderful dinner at the Whale Wins (and I felt like I ate like a winning whale.) From the moment we sat down and were greeted by the smiling faces of our servers to the last drop of wine at the end of the night, it was perfect. We all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had in years. Each of us had a favorite - mine was the black cod and the Matiz sardines on toast. The servers were attentive, super kind, and made sure we left happy, with a delicious slice of the zucchini bread with creme fraiche and sea salt.I look forward to going back and experiencing the rest of the menu!“
“Beautiful spot for a dinner date! We went here to celebrate a birthday and the entire experience was wonderful. Food tasted fresh, the two wine options went great with the meals and the dessert was simple but tasty. Will definitely be coming back (maybe during the day the next time since the space is so pretty).Parking is a bit tricky but there is an alley right next to the restaurant where you can find additional parking spots.“
“Great ambience for sure. And amazing cocktails menu. Though we just had mimosas but I really wanted to try the cocktails. Definitely going back there for this. The food is great too for sure. The staff is very cute & friendly.Be on time for your reservation it is a busy place & they don’t hold the table/reservation for 15 mins. We lost our table cuz we were late but we waited there for 10-15 mins and got the table cuz then we listed ourselves on the waitlist. This prolly might not be the case on I guess we got lucky lol.All in all, a great place for brunch. Definitely going back there. :))Cheers!!“
“We went to Nicks’s for dinner Saturday night. Food, service, ambiance all great. You can tell they really care about doing things well. We had so much fun. And everyone was so nice. Highly recommend going here. We plan to go back many times.“
“It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Had a seat where I could watch the meals being prepped, which was fun. The service was amazing. They were very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was off the charts good. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten-free meals. The server was very knowledgeable.“
“Superb experience! Delectable meals (Trout, Sturgeon, Pork Loin, Lamb Chop, plus desserts); delicious cocktails; personable service. Nell's is wonderfully quiet – no background music – which allows great conversations without going hoarse yelling above the din. We have been a number of times over several years, and like to take out-of-town guests – a place visitors to Seattle would never hear about or find on their own. Thank you, Nell's, for another outstanding evening!“
“Needed a quick breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe, it was just what I needed. Cool vibe, friendly staff and quick service.I got the basic breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, rye toast and sausage. The texture of some eggs can throw me off, but these were perfect.“
“The tasting menu is the way to go! Perfect place to celebrate our first anniversary! The whole staff was so kind and knowledgeable. I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail that would fit the tasting menu and she completely nailed it! The food was all delicious and so experimental and fun! We plan to go back at least quarterly to see what else they come up with!“
“The waiter had photographic memory and was very pleasant, he kept our water glasses full and checked on us many times throughout our meal experience. The atmosphere is very favorable. I’ll definitely dine there again. My Mini Pizza was DELICIOUS!“
“Good Impeccable Chicken Sandwich food truck. Bumped into them at a brewery in Snoqualmie and we ordered their chili crisp chicken (not spicy) and their traditional impeccable chicken sandwich. Your oder of sandwich comes with 1 side and a dip. We ordered their sweet potato tots and fries and it was delicious. Loved the chicken inside the sandwich - perfectly cooked and crunchy. Amazing. Overall loved the flavors in my chicken sandwich.“
“Perfect food, perfect atmosphere, perfect service. Everything was wonderful! We were thrilled to find fresh Shigoku oysters on the menu, and the spinach salad, steak frites, and mushroom pesto pasta were delicious. Naturally, the PB chocolate cake was a winner, too. The chef, staff, and owners know what they're doing and they've created a friendly and welcoming space to enjoy their craft. Can't wait to return!“
“The knowledgeable sommelier guided us through a delightful wine selection, both white and red. Our table was graced with an exquisite spread: eggs Benedict, apple fritters, classic breakfast, and caviar with chips. However, coffee aficionados might find the options limited—just French press with half-and-half creamer. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend Le Coin for a memorable brunch experience. Can't wait to explore their lunch and dinner offerings!“
“One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a while. The hotel is lovely, the room we had (queen bed suite) was spacious and clean, and the overall atmosphere was so inviting. We initially booked here because the were willing to accept my 2 adventure cats (not all pet friendly hotels take cats). We did not need to bring the cats this time, but will for sure on our next trip down. The hotel was walking distance to many of the things we were there to see, which was a huge bonus. A massive shout out to some exceptional “everything” people. Bonnie and Chandra at the front desk, so personable and inviting every time we walked through the doors. To Chloe the barista at Pineapple Express who always appreciated our willingness to arrive at 715 in our PJs and fancy robe lol. And Darryl at the bar who made our last evenings stay funny and memorable. We will be back 100%.“
“A dimly lit, great vibes restaurant with some of the best food in Seattle! Up there with Spinasse, Six Seven, Matt’s… Canlis? Some drop your socks duck, steak, and amazing apps like burrata and roasted carrots. The burrata was probably the best I’ve had (and I’ve been to Italy. Don’t tell the Italians I said that).“
“First time here after all passing by this place my entire life. All I can say is, the nostalgia this place brings the moment I walked in really took me back to my childhood days. The retro-themed decor, the hustle and bustle of the wait staff serving the customers, and the fantastic food at an affordably reasonable price makes this place a hidden gem - just don't expect to have any private, intimate seating...it's all one shared open space. Highly recommend the German Pancakes!“
“Loved that they had gluten-free bread and the waitress was knowledgeable on what could be made gluten-free. The chimichurri was spot on and really good.Dietary restrictions: Hollandaise sauce is made gluten-freeThey have gluten-free bread options too.“
“One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. A must if you’re in the area. The perfect mix of establishment, incredible food and old school service without the feeling by of being dated. I cannot speak higher of the place. Sean is a great waiter and Paul is a brilliant host.“
“as this was my first time trying gumbo, I'm not sure I'm fully qualified to judge this, but I'll give it a shot anywaynormally, I don't like soups, because they're mostly liquidhowever, this was less of a soup and more of a dish with a ton of sauce - due to how much stuff is in hereI loved that this bowl was completely packed with solid ingredients - so each spoonful got you a variety of different thingsthe most important thing in a soup is getting the broth right - and I have to say they pretty much nailed itthe liquid has some spice to it - which very much pleasantly surprised me, and in addition, it has great depth of flavorI found it to be probably the best part of the bowlnone of the toppings are particularly noteworthy - they're all pretty solid additionsas mentioned earlier, the amount of meat in here was pretty fantastic.I noticed chicken and sausage as being especially present throughout, and both were pretty goodthe bread was decent - I thought it could've used more toasting/crispiness and more butter - as it became a bit too softwhen dipped in the gumbothe fries were also ok - i would've loved if they were seasoned with some sort of cajun seasoning - but the sauce was goodthe price wasn't too expensive, around 15 dollars, but the portion size wasn't huge either - so it's about a wash thereOverall, good flavor with a ton of different ingredients. 8/10“
“During my recent visit to Seattle, I had the pleasure of dining at Swel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set a high standard – elegant yet welcoming, perfectly capturing the essence of fine dining with a personal touch. The highlight of my meal was the filet with peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection, it was a flavorful masterpiece that melted in my mouth. Accompanying this was a tequila old-fashioned – a delightful twist on a classic. This drink made me rethink my usual bourbon preference; it was that impressive! But what truly set Swel apart was the owner's involvement. Their passion and dedication were evident in every detail, from the meticulously crafted menu to the attentive service. It was inspiring to see an owner so deeply involved, ensuring each guest's experience was exceptional. In summary, Swel is a must-visit for anyone in Seattle seeking a top-tier dining experience. It's a testament to what happens when exquisite food, innovative drinks, and heartfelt hospitality come together. A true five-star experience! Also, make sure to get the scratch-made bread pudding. You won’t be sorry.“
“Small cafe with friendly, attentive staff and great food. Have been there twice with my sister; both times she had the cobb omelette and raved about it. I had a cubano which was thick and satisfying. Had to take half home. Next visit I had a classic eggs benedict. Also yummy. Place was busy on the second visit but the service was still great. Glad I tried this place. I'll be back!“
“A long-time favorite of mine I used to frequent about 10 years ago. Just returned to the neighborhood to check it out and learned that they did have to close during covid but one of the staff members was able to purchase it. The vibes and look have remained largely the same and the food which was always a highlight for me was still tip notch. A great selection of draft beers was always true but now they have added a short list of quality spirits. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite and a brew!“
“Delightful intimate dinner spot. My burger was cooked to perfection and the bun held till the last bite. The beet goat cheese stack was a treat. Finished with creme brûlée that was very well presented and had excellent flavor. All in all a treat!“
“I have been to Cook Weaver 5 times now and it is amazing every time. They are now a tasting menu and they have a lot of amazing flavors. The vegetarian tasting menu is so savory. This time was the best I have ever had there with lots of mushrooms and nori. The service was so friendly and fun. The murals are gorgeous and the building is a cute little spot. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. The other members of my party raved about the omnivore menu. Pricey but definitely worth every penny. The wine pairing was great too with some really unique choices.“
“Excellent place to celebrate a special occasion. The food was delicious and creative. The chef gave alot of thought in their dishes. The staff was attentive And offered great suggestions and made our night special. Definitely go there again.“
“You always hear about these hole in the wall places that are locally owned and provide amazing food, but it can be pretty hard to find them. Matt's Famous Chili Dogs is one of those places, and you should absolutely check it out! They're on the corner of an intersection, so it's pretty easy to access (despite Google Map's penchant for making illegal turns), and you're greeted with a burger shack that screams homely and locally owned. When you go in, there's a surprisingly modern setup with incredibly friendly service staff waiting to take your order. I got the double bacon with cheese, some fries and fry sauce, and a coke. Overall it was less than $15, and I was served within minutes. The food was delicious. Meaty and fresh, with a taste that felt clean, savory and not oily like many modern fast food joints. It all tasted exactly how a burger should, seasoned and cheesy with a hefty and a bite from the fresh onions.Absolutely worth a stop by if you're in the area. Check them out, you'll be a regular in no time!“
“Their weekend brunch is great! My favorite is shrimp & grits with a prickly pear mimosa. A lot of people come dressed up, looking their best. If you wear jeans and barely brushed your hair it’s still ok, just know it’s kinda fun to spruce up a bit for weekend brunch at Classic Eats.“
“I hesitate to post this glowing review because the Roanoke Inn is a hidden gem. However, the food, adult beverages, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch.There is plenty of seating inside and outside. It’s a solid & tasty menu. The servers are fun and personable.Propane heaters keep you warm when seated outside…along with a couple of shots of whiskey. There are plenty of TVs with sports both inside and outside. The structure itself is now 110 years old!The only downside is when it is packed inside and the beers are flowing it gets very loud. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the person seated across from you. That’s just part of the fun atmosphere.Parking: There is enough parking if people carpool. However, during the good weather parking can be scarce.“
