“This is my fav place for soup dumplings and honestly most other things. Their soup dumplings and q-bao are just the most amazing! They have changed a few items and I don't like them that much, not sure why they changed-like the green beans now on the minced pork noodles take away from the rest of the dish. Service is quick and good. Highly recommended!“

“A reliably awesome neighborhood joint with a banger happy hour that’s wildly affordable in this crazy world (HH is literally one hour from 4 to 5PM so hustle). Bok choy and spicy papaya salad with shrimp are faves, the drinks are stiff (#bananahammock) and the crew super pro and friendly (shout out to David and Holly in particular but I’m sure everyone is lovely).“

“Noodles, Appetizers, Dumplings, Buns, yum! They give you a little card to check mark what you want to order, Dim Dum Style. The beef pancake roll ($9.95) was awesome. Good amount of protein and flavor (hoisin). Beef Lamian was also wonderful ($15.95) with soft, chewy noodles and a good amount of veggies in a tasty sauce. BF thought it could use more protein. BF also got the bulgogi dumplings ($8.95) and said they weren't that good (I did not try). Busy and bustling on a Saturday evening. Polite Staff.“

“It was my first time at DTF as I was visiting from Canada. I went 20 minutes after they opened so there was no wait. The service was quick and the server was super friendly! I enjoyed the rice cakes A LOT. The soup dumplings were very nicely constructed as none broke when we picked them up. The cucumber salad was as expected. Obviously on the pricier side but was a nice experience“

“The banh mi sandwiches here are very good as are the spring rolls. Those are the two things I order when I come here and I always get it to go, so I can't speak about the service or ambiance. I have not tried the pho here but it always looks good. If you are craving Vietnamese food, this is a good option.“

“Great little shop with tasty noodles and other dishes. I highly recommend the Nine Way Noodles if you enjoy mala flavor (sichuan peppercorn). The dumplings and wontons in oil were also solid. Service was great and prices were cheap. If I had to identify one weakness, I'd say the noodles were oilier than I would have preferred, making the meal feel very heavy. However, it was all flavorful so I still give them 5 stars.“

“Great experience all around. Service was on point - Ben and Yotien (spelling?) were quick and caring. Food came out fast. The papaya salad was fresh and crisp, with a generous amount of shrimp. The Tom Kah had plenty of juicy mushrooms and protein, and it tasted authentic and delicate. The chicken satay was grilled nicely, moist, and paired with a creamy peanut dressing. Purple rice mango dessert was well balanced. They even made us a special dish - Thai basil rice (Thai style) which took me right back to Bangkok. We were impressed with the night and ended up ordering additional takeout for lunch the next day. Will be back to try the recommended noodle boat. Thanks for the wonderful night!“

“This place had been on my list for a long time. Finally was able to try them this past Sunday we were in Madrona and decided to come for lunch. One of the three of is had been. We got here about 11:45 and were the third group in line as they open at noon. The individual letting us in and taking orders was very informative and explained the chef was running a little late. Though I thought the food came out at a timely manner. The two newbies one being me went with the Hotate Wakame our other friend had the Ryuuji's Tokumori. In ordered the beef tataki salad to share, another friend ordered the fresh crab rolland the other friend ordered the sale donburi. I've always been a bigger fan if udon over ramen and being a Japanese American it's always nice to find a place that serves Japanese food that is not ramen or sushi. They start you off with a small portion chawanmushi perfectly cooked. Dashi in the chawanmushi was delicious. Each bowl of udon comes with grated ginger, tsukemono and a light dessert of azuki jelly. I read online that the area the owner is from adds grated ginger to their udon I had never heard of that and it was a nice addition. My friend's sake donbori looked delicious and she enjoyed it immensely. My other friends crab roll came out last but it was so good real crab no mayonnaise with lettuce in rice and nori very refreshing and the lettuce added a nice texture. I thought the beef on my salad would've been a little more rare when I think of tataki I think raw to rare thinly sliced beef. The flavor was still good and we needed some freshness for our meal. Now the udon, the noodles are hand made and had the perfect chew. Looking at the menu each type of udon had a broth that highlighted its ingredients. The Hotate Wakame: Seared Hokkaido scallop and Wakame seaweed with crab egg flower soup, hint of butter. Though it had the butter it was flavorful but not heavy. Really enjoyed the depth of flavor the broth had and the texture from the corn. I ended up eating all my scallops but brought home leftover noodle and broth for lunch the next day it held ip well. Looking forward to returning and trying the yuzu udon next time.“

“We went to check this hole in the wall authentic pho location and were not disappointed! The ambiance isn't much to look at but the food was phenomenal! The owner told us that everything is slowly made in house from scratch, and you can taste it! I like the self serve complimentary tea and water. Food came fast and went down fast too! We ordered the rare steak pho and 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were huge and delicious. Pho was perfectly seasoned and came with all the fixings. I can't wait to go back. Perfect meal on a cold day or when you are not feeling well. You go there for the food for sure! It was packed when we got there which also shows how good it really was!“

“Absolutely lives up to the name. The fried chicken is truly delicious and delightfully crispy. I’ve also had the fried chicken and curry combo, the lamb rice, and the garlic pork—it’s all very tasty and authentically Chinese. The drinks and desserts are also really great. The service has always been prompt and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the Bellevue area, you could easily get a good dinner for $15-20.Parking: Very abundant parking. There’s street parking right out front, a parking lot to the side, and you could also easily park at Crossroads and walk over.Kid-friendliness: Very comfortable environment for families“

“Yummy food and generous portions! We came to this place around noon on a Sunday. We ordered claypot spicy beef rice noodle, wonton Sui-Kau Noodle soup, and Salt Pepper fried chicken. All tatses pretty good and homey! I'd recommend trying the claypot noodle if you want to try something more flavorful beyond the general canton dishes. It comes in different soup options: spicy, tomato, golden hot and sour etc. and it has loads of toppings including fish balls, beef balls, corns, ham, greens, etc. The service is very nice.“

“Absolutely beautiful experience. Everyone was warm, welcoming, incredibly accommodating of my partner's dietary needs (vegan+gf), and it felt like we were visiting someone's home. There are thoughtful touches throughout, like family photos and dried wreaths. The food was some of the best I have ever had the gift of enjoying! I loved learning about the important Filipino members of the Seattle community. I cannot wait to come back. Special thanks to Olli, Carlena, and Aaron (I apologize for the spelling). ?Dietary restrictions: The team was incredibly accommodating of my partner's needs- vegan and gluten free.“

“Nice place with good service other than the server assuming we didn’t want the homemade noodles. It says to ask for the regular noodles if not familiar with the homemade type, but the wrong assumption was made for us. I would listen to the other reviews about the broth. It’s pretty bland and even after adding everything it didn’t change much for me. Other than that it was a nice experience.“

“Simply the most authentic Xi'an cuisine in greater Seattle area. As someone grew up in Shaan'xi, I approve their food. Recommended dishes: Roujiamo, beef stir-fried pulled strips, Qishan Saozi Mozi, braised sesame seeds, stir-fried/ Beef steamed buns, cold skin, grilled lamb skewers. I always keep a bottle of their chili oil at home cuz it's the best. Everything is a bit pricy but it's sadly how Chinese food is in WA.“

“I learned that every family's BBH has its own profile. This BBH is made with quality ingredients and a good heart with a lighter flavor profile IMO. I don't have a MSG effect after having the soup. The service is fast and friendly. If I'm in the area, I will definitely come back for more. Pricing is friendly compared to other pho restaurants around CID and not to mention in the Eastside. Parking and another entrance is in the back from the Safeway parking direction.“

“Modern Vietnamese restaurants have really increased in popularity in the recent years and it's easy to see why. With a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients and bold, flavorful dishes, these restaurants offer a dining experience that is satisfying, healthy and delicious.Ba Bar is a Vietnamese restaurants that has an innovative takes on traditional recipes. You can find classic dishes like pho, Bún bowls / vermicelli noodles & Sài Gòn Chicken Wings on the menu. On Mondays & Tuesdays they have Wing specials - 10 Wings for $9, but you have to order a drink. The wings are sauced up with nước chấm (fish sauce) so very flavorful!Service was pretty good here, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to make recommendations or accommodate any dietary restrictions. The atmosphere here is welcoming and decorated nicely, we were sat in the back of the restaurant so it was quieter. It was the perfect place to relax, catch up and enjoy a meal with my cousins.I ordered the combo vermicelli noodles for $19. The portion was decent, the noodles were chewy and perfect texture, the chicken thigh was cooked nicely and not dry, but I wasn't a super fan of the house made beef & pork sausage.Overall, a fun, trendy place to go and get Vietnamese food, but priced a bit higher than your typical Vietnamese restaurants.“

“We ordered the mango salad which was recommended by the server as a house specialty. I thought it was just ok, nothing special. The mango juliennes were too thick mixed with fried pieces of tofu in their house sauce. We also shared the combo platter which was enough for 2. Overall, all the items we ordered were good. Lunch for 3 was about $60. Service was great.“

“Something is just off here today. This used to be very efficient and consistent. Wait time was abnormally long. Usually we can squeeze in to to a smaller table and we told the manager that would be our preference. But instead, the waitlist kept growing while many empty tables not filled. To the manager’s credit, he recognized the long wait time and gave us a 10% discount. Thought all is good. Then the hot and sour glass noodle came out and it was neither hot nor sour, distinctively different from previous visits. With the ginger now minced without flavor for the XLB and other quality deteriorating, it’s a slippery slope. I hope they do some QC here… otherwise we have to go to another DZ or stop buying those Costco gift cards altogether.“

“Ordered the winter only lamb with Chinese herbal hot pot (羊肉爐) and steam cod with special bean sauce (豆酥鱈魚). The lamb has skin and tender all around. Very nice. Not huge amount but understantable as lamb with skin is quite expensive here. Flavour is correct. Special bean sauce add nice interesting flavour to the steam cod. Not many places has this dish. Overall, pretty good but price is definitely on higher side. Will come back for other food likely although have to order conservatively or else your wallet will be empty lol“

My friend ordered the husky roll I think and also the baos.I'm shocked tea does not come with your meal like water!!! That was the only disappointing thing. “Plenty of seating area. Waiter is quick to seat and take order. I order the Special Kim Phuong Rice Dish with a soup. It came with grilled pork but I switched it out for grilled short ribs, skewered shrimp, shrimp patty, rice, eggs, cucumber and a slice of tomato. The soup usually is with a pho broth but I can taste a very strong taste of cinnamon. That kinda threw me off because of how strong it is.“

“Rice Noodles straight from Yunan 14220 NE 20th St suite a&b, Bellevue, WA*@nannoodle_bellevue is a small business in Bellevue that specializes in rice noodle soups . Their rice noodles are very special because they ship them all the way from Yunan in China to provide a more authentic texture and taste that you can't buy in local stores here. The rice noodles are then paired with different soups and toppings that starts with a soup broth made of pork bones, pork loin, spare ribs and about 30 whole chickens. The broth truly is delicious - hearty yet light, savory and umami. *Here's what we ordered: House Chili Oil Chicken Wontons in Well-Seasoned Chili Sauce (Dry) Traditional Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles Small Pot Rice Noodles w/ an added Egg*Everything was super delicious and reminded Sam of his time eating these dishes with his mom - these styles of noodles are her favorite . The House Chili Oil Chicken reminds more of a sesame chicken but the sauce is super addicting and delicious, we took the rest home and dipped dumplings and mixed noodles with it . We loved the wontons because the filling was nicely flavored and the wrappers were the perfect q texture; not to mention, the dry seasoning on it was so addicting ! Between the two rice noodle pots, our favorite was the Crossing-the-Bridge because of how clean and flavorful the broth was a you can really tell how much love went into the broth and it was so good we drank it even without the noodles .*@nannoodle_bellevue shares a space with @mogetee_seattle so after you get your savory from the noodle soups and appetizers, you can get your sweet from their fruit teas and boba drinks . We definitely will be coming back as it's the perfect place to warm our stomachs during this rainy and cold season! Go check out @nannoodle_bellevue when you're on the east side and are craving something warm and comforting !*#chopsticksnboots“

“The best hidden gem. If you like north style traditional chinese food, this place is as authentic as you can get on east side. They have the best 鱼香肉丝 shredded pork with garlic sauce. Its great with noodle or rice. The #2 on noodle soup menu was also unbeatable. The noodles are fat and chewy. The soup base was also made with healthy ingredients. “My my my what a fantastic pho restaurant in the US. Honestly the best pho I’ve had in the US. From the moment you park your car you can smell the pho as you open the door. Soup was aromatic, good amount of fresh basil and bean sprouts. Downside to their dish is standard US quality rice noodles which has a terrible taste in general. Their use of meat could improve from fattier beef. But still an excellent experience. Very clean inside and was kept throughout the kitchen. Will be visiting again next time I’m in Seattle.“
