“Fast, fresh, friendly and fantastic family owned find❣️. You might find Mama talking your order or chatty Erik or more fam. Food is excellent. Limited menu, but that’s good. And there are currently sweet EMPANADAS!! They’re small, delicate and delectable.I love the pineapple and Nutella is an option. My uncle loved the cocoa flan. 😍 I think my fave taco place is now a contender for an espresso stop with, did I mention, EMPANADAS!?!“

“Have never had a bad meal here. The servings are large even at lunch time. The service is great and the people are warm and friendly. The prices are the same as every other restaurant in the area. We drive over the mountain passes for a day drive so we can eat at El Porton's, takes us 2 1/2 hours. We make at least three trips a year and would be more if it wasn't for the winter weather. Can't wait for the next trip for lunch.

The server gave a recommendation that hit the spot! We didn't know whether to feel safer or worry about our safety when the security guard showed up but overall we had a great time with great food.“

The public eating area looks like the inside of a garage, and the smaller space next to the kitchen is far from cozy.The food though, is great! I suggest getting drive thru and avoid the noon lunch hour rush because it gets busy and wait times can get long.“

It’s in a big white school bus, parked by a permanent wooden awning and park benches, you can’t miss it.
