“Agave Kitchen has firmly established itself as one of my favored dining destinations in Hudson, distinguished by its array of flavorful dishes. The ambiance it provides is suitably versatile, accommodating both professional dinner meetings and casual outings with friends and family. This adaptability, combined with its culinary excellence, underscores the establishment's commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for a diverse clientele.“
“What a cute place! Lots of things to look at and Wow, the tea selection is huge! I met my sisters for breakfast and we had speedy and friendly service. Portobelo mushroom and bacon waffle got good reviews. Very tasty. The jalepeno and spicy sausage quiche got excellent reviews. Had a good kick! The scrambled eggs looked great and tasted good. Just a tiny bit on the dry side. The fresh fruit that came with our orders included orange and pineapple slices as well as a few green grapes. All were appropriately juicy and were refreshing. I had the masala chai tea (black) and that was good too. I would definitely come back and try items off lunch menu.“
“Finally made it across the river to Nova today. My visit left me in the state of "how many times were you told to get here... & kept saying...mehh... I will? Well today did not disappoint! I loved the small brunch cocktail menu, not overwhelming and some great options, the bloody with dill pickle ice was very tempting! I opted for the Knob Creek Colab Sour, it was delicious & not too sweet so I sucked it down in two sips! It paired perfectly w hanging out w buddies on the patio! I like that he patio had options of small square tables, round tables and picnic tables w umbrellas! There's a small parking lot, that if it's full you can easily park along the Coulee curb. Boomin Barbecue has residency and w the Libations for Everyone podcast recording today I opted for the Knob Creek burger, "Smoked & Seared Burger, American Cheese, Smoked Pork Belly, Bourbon Braised Onions, Pickles, Knob Creek Aioli on a Sesame Potato Bun". I'm sorry, correction: the DELICIOUS Knob Creek burger!!! The bar was comfortable and spacious, read: you weren't touching legs w the chair next to you. You can see the two bathrooms from the bar, they're not tucked away in some corner. I like that there is a garage door open to the spacious patio. I was able to have a few words w the friendly owner. I may have drug my feet to have my inaugural visit, but I am positive there will be no delay on my next visit. Thanks Nova for such a fun, comfortable and delicious afternoon, cheers!“
“I wanted to get ham and potatoes and gravy to go today for Easter. I called ahead and the chef said he would have it all ready. I was on my way to the airport to pick someone up and stopped into Post to pick up. Not only did someone go around the buffet and fill a to go container for me but while they were waiting for their computer to restart, the chef came out and said there was no charge!!! I’ve always loved this place and their wonderful food and service but this was just amazingly sweet and so appreciated!! Thank you and Happy Easter! It was delicious. Terri O“
“I ordered a Spotted Cow, as soon as the gal had time. I get annoyed when the bartender is messing with anything but serving food, booze or money transactions. I have no idea what she was doing to have taken so long to ask for the beer and a menu. I was famished. I ordered from a young man and asked which he recommended, the steak sandwich or burgers, he said burger. I ordered the $17.00 Forager Smash with onion rings. The sauce was funky tasting “mayonnaise truffle” and the burger a little too well done and dried out for my taste. I asked for medium rare and expected a juicy burger. Ya, for $17 bucks I want what I ask for! When I am famished almost anything tastes good, but not this. I am no expert on truffle mayo, so maybe that threw me off. If it was made wrong or spoiled, I wouldn’t know the difference, but I won’t order that again. One man band was pretty good playing his guitar and singing. If I had money to lose, I may have gambled or bought some pull tabs.I will go back for a weekend eve with my adult kids, and think they’ll like the vibe. The bar area appears mostly clean, but I didn’t walk around to see everything or use the restroom. There are two levels and I had a view of the St Croix River, the one man band, and everyone coming in and going out. I liked my seat at the bar choice a lot!The bill came and I added a 23% tip, but only the meal portion appeared to be deducted from my bank account. Not sure what happened there, but will definitely be back and make up for that soon.I’m gonna try the steak sandwich next time! Sit in the same spot! Appreciate the atmosphere and local hospitality! All good for going in too hungry 4*s all day long and hoping to give them 5* on my next experience ?️?“
“I have been critical in the past, of certain things. But only to make it better. This is getting to be our favorite dining place. The Woman that runs the place, goes up and beyond. If you can find better French Onion Soup, or Walleye, OR service then Stefanie, let me know!“
“If you’re looking for a place that is affordable but has awesome food and drink, you need to try Bennett’s in Hudson. Also great place to have a private party! They go out of their way to accommodate everyone! Btw their salmon is out of this world“
“We parked at one end of Hudson and walked the main strip looking for a new place to eat. We stumbled on Black Rooster ?, and it called to us. There's a steep flight of stairs leading you into the cool cave like atmosphere of the place. We had wine ? and smoked old fashioneds (yum) to start. We had the pan-roasted chicken breast ? and seared sea scallops, which were both amazing. The menu rotates, so who knows what we'll get next time (and there will be a next time).Parking: There are pay parking lots all along the main strip (pay only during specific hours).“
