“For several years, Salvatores has been my 1st or 2nd favorite pizza ever... this last weekend i had it again for the first time in several months. They've changed something about they make a basic tomato pie - how it's put together or the cheese or both. It's just not the same and it is more like pizza you get at any other place. The signature swirl of tomato sauce was barely there. It's still a regular good pizza but when you are expecting great, your favorite, it was a let down.“

“We had a terrible experience. We went to celebrate my husband birthday. Although we made reservations, we had to wait for a table. The appetizer (Arancini) was bland and didn't taste like risotto. Main dishes were fine. We also order ceasar side salad and a house side salad. For desserts we order cannoli and lava cake. I had better cannoli in other area restaurants, but the lava cake was cold and dry. There was no lava or moisture on the cake. When we got the check, the ceasar salad price was $12.00 and the house salad was $8.00. According to the menu a side salad was $3.50 with the main dish. When we complained about the salad prices, we were told that we didn't order the house salad at the same time the waitress took the order, and they dont have a side ceasar salad. When they noticed our disappointment and frustration they offer to fix the ticket but It was too late for us, we just wanted to get out of the restaurant.“

“Been here twice now and it is some of the best Chinese food we've ever had. We live about 15-20 mins away but this will be our go to Chinese spot! Haven't tried too many menu items because the orange chicken has so much flavor with a bit of spice, I have a hard time wanting to try something else ?.Portions are great, you can easily get two meals out of an entree. The owners are so friendly and always make you feel welcome which is hard to come by in the service industry these days. So glad we found this little gem!“

“Fabulous birthday supper For my 64th birthday I was treated to a delicious steak dinner. French onion soup was delicious. Wedge salad perfect with the crudités. Fresh bread. Ginger mock tail was perfect. Then the New York strip steak with baked potato. All done perfectly. Ended the meal with a huge piece of chocolate cake with whipped cream. Our server John was very attentive and didn't miss a beat. I give 5 stars.“

“Miko Poke SATISFIES all my pregnancy cravings. I’ve always enjoyed their spicy tuna, but since getting pregnant, I’ve felt limited when eating out. This place gives me everything I crave and need. When sticking to a healthy meal, my go to is the poached salmon bowl with avocado and veggies. The veggies are fresh, and the salmon and avocado are lightly seasoned with citrus. Recommendation: add yuzu sauce for extra citrus flavor. Now when I’m really craving, the chicken bowl with any and all crispy toppings is DELICIOUS. Unagi glaze and spicy aioli is a great combination, which adds sweet and spicy flavors to the bowl. Plus they just added artichokes and they go GREAT in this bowl.Pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The toppings are always freshly prepared, and when I was eating tuna it was the best quality of fish I’ve had in the Madison area. The small is a good size for me and my husband goes for the regular. This place isn’t just your standard poke place, they have options for everyone. Plus the staff is SUPER friendly.“

“We recently came here for dinner. As previous fans of Brasserie V, we were happy to see that they largely kept the layout intact. That said, it's a bit more austere and sleek now. The walls are a little bare. And the new chairs and stools are very heavy, awkward and uncomfortable. That said, we made a reservation but didn't need one, which was surprising on a Saturday night. The host was very unfriendly and seemed almost angry. The menu is very heavy with meat. I had to ask if I could have the risotto without "bacon butter" and the server didn't know. She went to ask and apparently was told that they could do it, but that it wouldn't be the same taste. I couldn't tell if they were trying to discourage me. I did it anyway and it was fine. I will say what everyone else has said about the portions ( extremely small- three scallops on the scallop risotto) and also overpriced (this is the most I have ever paid for a half dozen oysters and we live in Chicago). They don't have bread service at all, so there's nothing to nibble on. A person in our party is a big meat eater, so they loved the menu and the beef tartare. The drinks were excellent. Desserts were good, although the selection of homemade ice creams were dismal. Again, even dessert is overpriced for the portion size. Overall, this was a decent experience. I would come back for drinks, but not sure dinner is worth it.Vegetarian options: They have maybe one vegetarian dish but you really need to read the menu carefully and ask questions.“

“We have been looking for a classic supper club style restaurant for Friday fish fry. This was hands down the best we’ve ever had since living in the Madison area for 14 years. The service was fast and friendly and the beer battered cod was crispy and fresh! If you haven’t been here, you need to! Can’t wait to come back and try other things.“
