Always great food and love how Hong and her staff are always warm and welcoming. They recognize customer loyalty by remembering their patrons.”

We always make time to stop in when we're in town, it's worth it. The tap room itself is very chill and a pleasant spot to hang out in.”

“I was so amazed at the quality of the food and the service. I had the pumpkin ravioli, some Calimari and Balsamic Brussel Sprouts which were all wonderful. I highly recommend. A little pricy but for the quality, ambiance and a special occasion, it's perfect!”

“The food was great. We had less than stellar service, our server was nice but I ordered a wine flight to pair with my 3 courses plus a sparkling wine to start. The wines didn't come until after the first course was done. They never brought the second course or any bread so I ended up having 4 glasses of wine for my main course which was ok, but not what I had planned on . I'm sure the recommended pairings are great with the food as Ive heard others recommend doing that; hopefully next time I'll be able to enjoy them together! The medallion trio was great as was the buratta sausage flat bread!”

“An unprofessional, rude General Manager, who offered no apology for a mistake made by his employee/company on a carry out of pies and pi t shirts. Instead accused us of wanting something for free, when in actuality they never put the item in the carryout bag. The waitress I'm sure may have remembered, but they never asked. I tried calling to let them know of the error, one missing t shirt, but the mailbox was full, so had to drive 30 min back, why would I want to do that? It was so unprofessional, I won't return.”

“Amazing! I typically get a no flavored oat latte. Flavor is always consistent! Grace recommended that next time I try the pumpkin oat milk. Not often that somebody engages with a customer like she did and I really appreciate it. It was very much needed on this rough day. Eighteen heart emojis.

Vegetarian options: Leaving a review was more difficult than working with Grace at Moka. I'm vegan, not vegetarian - so these optoins are obsolete. Grace was very kind, engaging and enthusiastic. I will be going back. Give her a raise $$$”

“Never had any issues with this store, others have been disappointing. Always friendly and always complete.UPDATE- 11/26. OK tried the cheese stuffed crust with my favorite cowboy, well not the best choice. Sorry to say the crust was dry and the cheese didn't melt all the way. The middle of the pizza was soggy and yes I follow the instructions. Will stick with my cowboy the original way. Maybe if you pinch the crust a little more and give room for the middle might help. Just saying.”

“An awesome traditional american breakfast spot. It’s great when you walk in and everyone is a local. They had a great selection of just about anything you could think of, omelette, pancakes, scrambles, skillets, etc. My boyfriend said they were some of the best pancakes he’d ever had. My omelette was good, wasn’t out of this world but it was cheesy and had a nice balance of every ingredient. I would loved a little more ham. Very good for a quick bite, they are fast and efficient! Definitely will come again, looking forward to trying more of the menu.”

“The owner of this bar isn't great, but fortunately, he's never there when I go. John is who I usually deal with, and he is everything a bartender should be. He's accommodating and friendly. He remembers my name and my order. He makes this place what it is!
The dry rub here is amazing and I recommend you get the wings with dry rub every time!”

“5 star Chinese food? No, but they’re super fast and the food is consistent. The shrimp dishes are actually better than average for a cheap, fast, Americanized Chinese restaurant (the shrimp are big and properly cooked!). My wife likes it better than Taigu (I disagree) but happy wife = happy life so this is our go-to when “Let’s get Chinese” is the answer to “What’s for dinner”.”

“if you google "dive bars" they won't help you. let me help you. Connie's is the almost-perfecr dive bar. Simple, clean, rustic, friendly place to have a beer and shake some dice. So glad I found this place on my travels.”

“This was a nice change of pace to eat at on our road trip Around Lake Michigan. The food was tasty, but the Gluten Free Mandarin Orange (with chicken) did not taste very citrusy. Decent portions, and I took the rest back to our hotel to eat for breakfast the next day. The rest of my gluten-eating party enjoyed their meals.

“We are really happy that we chose Capital for our wedding reception. Dawn and colleagues were very accommodating and helpful, and the bartenders on the night were fantastic. We had the two indoors rooms and access to the biergarten, and (despite my best efforts with a killer wedding playlist) by the end of the night everyone was out in the biergarten listening to the great live band. Great venue, great people, great beer. Thank you!”

“This is one of my favorite Costco stores. The only thing I wish Costco would change is please let me order a birthday cake online for pickup in the store. I live over an hour away, so just swinging in to order one and then pick up isn’t really an option. It would also be nice to order for family members in different states.”

“The manager was one of the nicest people I met while in Middleton, visiting the area for a high school hockey championship. I was immediately greeted, treated courteously and respectfully, and was overall very impressed! I know he was the manager as another individual came in to ask for a manager and he introduced himself as such. Plus, my sandwich was very good!”

“First time eating their food today, ordered from the truck while they were at the Boneyard in Madison. Ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were fabulous. For the price both quantity and quality was beyond “food truck” expectations. Authentic flavors and incredibly nice people too. I will definitely find them again to try everything they offer.”

“My first time in Wisconsin for a conference and I decided to Grub Hub Barriques. What I ordered was amazing, however even though I asked for cutlery, didn't receive any.

The second night I decided to order again, but used Door Dash. I ordered something different, plus a cookie. Again, I asked for cutlery and when it was delivered, didn't receive the cookie or cutlery.

Barriques has amazing food but would not recommend having food delivered.”

Service is usually good, though at our most recent visit we were brought the wrong drink, which we pointed out and was corrected but our bill then had the mistake drink on it. The atmosphere is decent, though not cozy. There is often a wait but they thankfully do take reservations.”

We decided to try a video-chat dinner & the Takara staff was enormously helpful. They gave me a nice quiet corner table, let me set up my ringlight/phone, and everyone was just all-around lovely.
