“Came for happy hour (4-6) for dollar oysters, dollar off drinks and fried green tomatoes. We had oysters, shrimp, fried tomatoes, the crab and corn chowder, gumbo, and the pulled pork sandwich. I might still be in a food coma. everything was exceptional. our bartender Sam was great! He helped me design two martinis I loved. definitely will be back!! i'd recommend coming as close to 4 as possible as it does fill up quickly!!“
“The 4 patty build-yer-own Angus burger with American cheese slices in the middle of each patty was unbelievably amazing. Very juicy with just the perfect amount of grease oozing. It was so good, I ordered another one 20 min later.Kaitlan, our server, did a fantastic job with our party of 4.Milwaukee water was clear and refreshing. We got done eating and went straight to Saz's circle bar and had a few more rounds.Looking forward to another visit to Saz's State House“
“Where do I even begin?!? My partner and I made the drive from Madison first thing in the morning on a Saturday - he didn't know where we were going, but I had called ahead the day before to place an order. We arrived right when Lucky Bakery & BBQ opened, and there were others waiting outside and in the lobby (a great sign!). My partner was thrilled that the surprise was Chinese BBQ, and we picked up the order of roast ruck and pork with crispy skin. While we were there, we chose some bakery items as well (an egg tart and a red bean cake). Then, we started to drive home, snagging a piece of pork to nibble on the drive back to Madison. HOLY COW. I pulled the car over SO FAST - this pork deserves all of your attention! You cannot do it justice while driving, you need to sit and savor it! We literally bought a drink at a Panera so we could sit outside and eat this pork. I will dream about this pork every night until we can make another trip to West Allis. My life as been changed by this pork. The duck and the bakery items were also flawlessly outstanding, but I truly cannot get over the pork. We ate the entire pound of it that Saturday, and will be telling everyone we meet!“
“The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus.The staff was awesome! They're very friendly & attentive even when it was busy.I will be returning very soon to give their ribs a taste. I'll keep you posted on that.“
“Man, I've been to 48 states and ate at thousands of bbq joints and ain't nothing touch the slaw here hands down the best! And the ribs man I had to sit back in my chair and catch my breath whooo!!! Man get down here and see these people and eat this food !!! I'll be back !Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly“
“I’ve been ordering from Chicken Man/Gianelli’s for over 30 years. My parents got it when I was a kid and I have been ordering since for my family! Great food for a reasonable price, which is not easy to find as much! But definitely great food and service!“
“Stopped in for lunch on a Monday and was surprised to see so many people here. It turns out a big tour group was here taking up two or three large tables. This place is plenty big so that was not an issue. Our waitress was super friendly. The menu is pretty typical for a place that caters to motorcycle fans - lots of barbecue and burgers. I ordered their special Guinness wings which were very good but very pricey (actually everything on the menu seemed pricey but that is apparently the case at many restaurants these days). My dad got the beef brisket sandwich which he like a lot. It was so big he took half home for dinner! Overall a good place with lunch near downtown that is easy to get to with lots of free parking. A good option even if not visiting the very good museum.“
“Wow, I can't stop raving about this place! The moment I took a bite of their perfectly smoked brisket sandwich and cheesy, creamy mac and cheese, my taste buds exploded with joy. I'm still dreaming about that incredible combination of flavors. This place is a must-try for any foodie out there!“
“Decent BBQ for the Midwest. Ribs were not very tender and lacked distinct flavor. Smoked chicken was good. BBQ sauce options were no better than Sonny's. Service and atmosphere were good. We had no issues getting a table despite a large convention happening next door at the Baird Center.“
“We went to Carson's last night (Friday) before catching a show at the Riverside. We had reservations for 4:00, but it didn't start getting busy until 5:00/5:30.I ordered the steak kebab, because I thought the portion would be smaller than the cuts of meat that were $20+ more. Well, I still ended up with a lot leftovers. Portions are generous, and everything tasted great. The coleslaw that comes with the meal was really good; finely chopped and creamy. Our server was kind and attentive.Total bill for 3 with full entrees and 2 drinks each was $315. They do automatically add a 18% gratuity onto the check, but do a good job of making sure you know it.Everything was great! We'll be back.“
“I like this little place! We stopped in prior to a show at The Rave. It was surprisingly good! I got the smoked brisket and it was SO good! I really wasn't expecting such great BBQ from a little place in Milwaukee, but that was a truly pleasant surprise! My husband got the meatloaf and it was good too. Enjoyed the cheese curds and the onion rings as well. Next time we are in the area, good chance we stop in to this little place. Bartender was really friendly, crackin' jokes and having a good time behind the bar.“
“This is the best food me and my family has had since ive be in this city by far!!! Alot of places have tryed to be #1 but trust me not even close. Thanks to the cooks in their hospitality may God bless you and your family. Come check em out u wont be disappointed!!! Memphis“
“Delicious!! Four of us shared two apps. Favorite was cauliflower. All dinners were great. Mine was vegetarian. Rice bowl with different veggies and tofu on top. Ssooooo good. Cooked in a cast iron skillet. Rice caramelized on bottom. Fantastic flavors with the right amount of heat.Vegetarian options: Selected the Bibimbap with tofu. It comes with an egg on top so I requested without that. Listed as vegan option so was a little surprised when ordering with tofu that they didn’t ask if I wanted with egg or not. Veg and vegan items labeled. GF listed clearly too. Tofu was fried. Prefer tofu not fried but it was a yummy and fun change of pace.“
“I'm VERY picky about my BBQ. I don't mess with Famous Dave's, Dickey's, etc. This is probably the best BBQ I've ever had. Genuinely can't recall a spot that is definitively better than Smokin' Jack's. I'm also not a big online review leaver. I'll word-of-mouth it all day...but actually remember to leave a review? And then take the time to actually write one? Nah. So that's saying a lot. Anyway, I can't eat BBQ TOO much because it is some pretty heavy stuff, but when I get a craving again, BEST BELIEVE I'm pullin' up for a two-meat combo DOUBLE BEANS.“
“Omg some of the best food in the world their Rib Tips are off the chain. The guy said I will be back and he never lie about that. I’m running back to them. Those Rib Tips are chopped up season delicious and so tender I cannot wait to try his other food his greens taste like they’re from down south which I love his mac & cheese. Taste real creamy and cheesy. I love his food is absolutely delicious and I know I met him on Facebook he the one who invited me? Definitely highly recommend this place to eat don’t miss out yummy ?“
“Loved the outdoor eating area. It is a hole in the wall restaurant that feels like old authentic Milwaukee. This last time, we sat inside. It's a rustic atmosphere. The Sunday brunch brisket sandwich is great!Parking: Free street parking on Sundays. We took a long walk for it.“
“Had the brisket dinner with greens and Mac. It did not disappoint. The brisket was tender and moist with just enough sauce. Everything was cooked just right as far as flavor and texture goes. I would definitely return!Dietary restrictions: Greens are cooked with turkey instead of pork!!!!!“

“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. It was the sweetest and kindest gesture. I can’t wait to come back!“
