“Went to see Lunch money bullies and it was a lot of fun. Could have been cooler up by the band when we went to dance though. Bartenders were busy however none of them were when I went to get a drink and I stood with my money out for a while until the lady next to me had to yell to get their attention.“

I had the half chicken special- super moist, covered in country gravy (choice of having it on the side) & mashed potatoes (needed salt) but real potatoes and good when salt added. Service was impeccable, we were there for lunch. Wheelchair/walker accessible back door. (would be a long walk). Outdoor space looks amazing- I plan to go back when the weather improves. Service was freaky fast. Bourbon choices galore & bourbon old fashioneds on tap. (I will be trying those next visit too!). Bonus -gambling machines too.“

“First time here and had a pizza. I love pizza and this pizza is legit. Amazing sausage, decent pepperoni, and nice thin and crispy crust. Don't let the fact that the restaurant is connected to a bowling alley fool you. This pizza can stand on it's own. Great service too.“

“My family and I went here today after my father's burial ceremony at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran's cemetery. We had a group of about 17 people. My mom had called ahead to make a reservation, and even though we were a little early, the staff was so kind to us, and very accommodating. Our food was great, the service was phenomenal for a group of our size, and my cappuccino was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I am so thankful to the staff for their patience and kindness. It made a big difference to my family and I on what was a difficult day for us. I definitely recommend them for breakfast/ brunch.“

Once our server, Kayley, noticed that we had been waiting for a long time, she was very very accommodating and very apologetic about the wait. “We dined at Chances on a Saturday night in March 2024. . Lots of local townspeople having a good time in bar area. I am all for that type of atmosphere. However, if your face is not familiar, the bartenders tend to ignore you. There were two mature guys on duty behind the bar and if you did not specifically call out or gesture for a cocktail, they simply stood there. Grumpy as all get out. Two delightful elderly females (not familiar faces) tried to get a bartender's attention to ask about the gambling games in the room, but were very disrespectfully ignored. We'll write this off as both fellas having a bad night. Dining room was about half full. Got seated at a very small table for two against the wall...maybe a former window table, but no window anymore. Very cramped with all the extra stuff already on the table. Didn't want to be a pain in the ***, so we didn't request a nicer table. Good news...ribs and shrimp combo and prime rib special were delicious. Spinach salad and onion strings also very tasty. Extremely busy waitress took care of us skillfully, attentively, and with the most pleasant demeanor. So our occasional date night had a happy ending following a not so great start.“

“This was my third or fourth time going to see China Lights. All the exhibits were new this year and I was blown away by how beautiful they were and how much more was there to enjoy. The animation and lighting was so detailed and there were so many more interactive things for the children to do. I was especially fascinated by the Rock Man who looked like a big boulder and unfolded into a huge transformer who talked and moved. One of the most beautiful moments for me was looking over the area where the path zigzagged back and forth and saw all these delicate lights waving back and forth in the breeze like a fairyland.“

“four and a half stars really... knocking off that half star bc i only give 5 full stars to complete standout/shout from the rooftop places. everything was good here - service, ambiance, food. the menu covers it all - mexican and tex mex plus all the margaritas and cocktails. really no complaints! the food is good, again nothing memorable but good enough to spread the word. our server was extremely attentive and personable and food came out fast. this is definitely not a typical mexican restaurant - it really is a pub with mexican food... with a bit of biker bar feel ;) lots of character!“

“I had the Corn-beef Hash Soup. It blew up my mind. It was so so good! Plenty of potatoes, carrots and corn beef chunks. Yum!! I'll go back for more! Our thin crust Wisconsin style pepperoni pizza was delish as well. Mr. Spanky's, the owner, approached to us to say hi and to check if everything was ok. He told us that they will be opening their new location in May. It will serve them well because it's a popular local place. I hope they keep Corn-Beef Hash in their menu. The bar area was busy. “Love these little old school pubs just sitting there at a 4way stop. Been here since tge 60's. Bartender was spot on, friendly and quick service. One of the locals told me tgat the Prime Rib can't be beat (served on Mondays) and if you order steal tacos on Thursday, they use the left over Prime Rib. Hard to beat that. Very friendly regulars, and even bought me a shot. I will be back to try the food and will update my review.Parking: Small lot with a lot of cars. But you can be creative to make a spot.“

“The food arrived not as warm as I would have liked, BUT, there was only one server. My party arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and quickly became very busy. The server did a great jun but was overwhelmed until help arrived! The food however was very good albeit the temperature was not. The hostess was most gracious in apologizing and I will return in the future.“

The only negative thing I have is, the clam chowder soup could use smaller potatoes and more clams. Other than that the soup is a 5 out of 5 for flavor. The shrimp dinner I got had HUGE breaded shrimp. My husband got the breaded cod, very good. And let's talk about the coleslaw. “Played Saturday mid day. We got there super early due to another course cancelling our tee time on us. Spent 3 hrs in the bar with the owner and bartender. Had a great time. Breakfast was great and the bloody Mary’s was really good. The course was in good shape. Nothing too out of place, but I will say this course is in desperate need of a lot of tree removal/trimming. There are a few landing areas in the fwy where the tree canopy is more narrow than the fwy itself. Hitting a good tee shot on the edge of the fwy is penalized. I understand dog legs and being sure to play the correct side of the fwy but this was on straightforward holes. Nonetheless, the course looked good and it was super fun. I have a few comp passes I plan to use in the near future. Good job Rivermoor.“

“One of My favorite go to restaurants, I love your dinner rolls and the butter you use for it. I made sure to bring home some because I am craving a lot of it. We order so much dinner rolls too when my family have a celebration to do at home and this is just perfect. Tonight, my husband and I had country fried chicken and the pulled pork. All time favorite for us and that cactus blossom. Since my husband loves the cactus blossom , that's what we get. While I go crazy with the rolls and the butter.
