“Great service, salad was quick and soup. Didn't have to wait long. Probably because I went at 1030. These other reviewers have to realize it gets busy during lunch and dinner. They kindly took my order and carefully wrapped my soup. Will return ?“
“With its lively atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it's the perfect spot to indulge in delicious tacos and refreshing tequila cocktails. From traditional street tacos to creative fusion dishes, each bite is a burst of flavor that tantalizes the taste buds. The extensive tequila selection adds to the experience, making it the ideal destination for a fun night out with friends or a casual dinner date.“
“Our first stop back in Phoenix! Matt's continues to offer great food and service over many years. This iconic breakfast spot is still packed in the mornings for good reason. The menu is small and so is the restaurant, but they never disappoint!Vegetarian options: Avocado toastParking: Small lot behind the building, but plenty of street parking and paid lots near by.“
“Last time I was here was 2019 and it's just as amazing as I remember so many years later. The ambiance is great- it's set in an old church with beautiful dark wood and stained glass throughout. The drinks and food were great- we went for happy hour. Service was awesome- we sat at the bar and were serviced by bartender Mark who is friendly, attentive and helpful in guiding us to the right menu items. Can't wait to be back!“
“Never been to Phoenix area before and wanted to find a very local authentic restaurant. We found it....Cocina Madrigal was exactly what we were looking for...We actually sat at the bar since there was a short wait for a table. I was here with a college friend who lived out of the state also. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had the combination Taco/Burros/Tamales/Enchiladas...Our gracious bartend/waitress suggested the perfect way they should be prepared. All the employees were very friendly and make you feel incredibly welcomed. Highly recommend and we will return when we are traveling through Phoenix..“
“Wow! Just, WOW! The food was superb: sourdough sandwiches with premium ingredients. The service was amazing as well! Malachi was very friendly and helpful while taking our order. Both he and Glen were effective with their communication before, during, and after our order. So often nowadays you find mediocre service, but not here! My whole family was satisfied and impressed!Kid-friendliness: Numerous options for kids. If you have many mouths to feed, you can order a large sandwich and get it cut into multiple sections.“
“Wife and I walked over from where we are staying around 7pm on a Tuesday. It was a beautiful night and tables were available outside. Our server was great, and the food was probably some of the best we had our visit to Phoenix. We split the artichoke dip and the chicken ranch wrap. Both were delicious. The only thing that upset us was we didn't wander over earlier in our trip!“
“I thought their food was really good some of it seemed a little expensive for what you were getting and some of it seemed like a really good deal. Nice little mom and pop shop definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: The spanakopita and the falafels are a good choice plus there's some nice salads“
“I thought it was a particular day but 3rd time is conformation ? they put way too much ice in the acai bowls to the point they have a water down flavor (if a taste at all), ice pieces in mix, & begins to melt before you really begin to dig in. Please adjust your ratios. ??“
“Hot Daisy has AMAZING pizza. The crust is like biting into the flakiest croissant. HOWEVER. Over the course of this past year, I have tried to order pizza during their normal listed business hours and they will randomly be closed. Just now. I literally went to order a pizza and they were closed. This is the 10th time this has happened! I've even ordered online went to pickup the pizza only to find a note on the door saying that they were...YOU GUESSED IT! CLOSED!!! ? Seems like I staffing issue? Who's to say!? I hope they don't go out of business, because their pizza is THE BEST!!!“
“While we were in Phoenix we told ourselves we had to go here. We've been hearing about how great it was. Well the first day we missed it by a hour. Then the second day it was Easter and they closed early. So today the day we go home we were determined to go. Waited 2 hours but it was so worth it. The Mozzarella salad was amazing, so flavorful and the perfect amount. We couldn't decide which pizza to get so we got 3. The Margherita pizza was so light and simple but done perfectly. My husband's favorite was Sonny Boy, it was so good. Very glad we got to experience it. If you are in the area do it but remember there will be a long wait so don't go hungry“
“What a gem! The sweetest lady sat us. We had hot tea, it was just Lipton, but in a PortMerion mug and saucer! Tasteful Thai decor. Easy parking, edible landscape. We ordered veg egg rolls. Hot and perfect with a sweet/sour dip sauce. We also order ToM YUM SOUP...came in a hot pot. So good! Just what I needed. Also had yum woon sen...silver noodle salad.....best I have ever had! We also had pumpkin curry. Ordered everything mildly spiced and it was. Rice was cooked perfectly. Will be back soon! Saw a lot of dash orders going out.Wheelchair accessibility: My daughter is in a wheelchair and was easily accommodated.“
“Throughout my life I have been blessed to have great leaders and bosses that have done more than just lead me in the workplace. They have been advisors, friends, and even a needed voice of reason in a crisis. Joseph fits this roll as a boss and owner ten folds. He displayed integrity, hard work, and discipline in the workplace that rippled into everyone’s lives to help us better ourselves. He has sacrificed time with his family and is his personal life to be a helping friend in times of need and a leader not only for myself but for the rest of the team at Bowl Of Greens. I am truly sad to see him leave us but I know he will be a blessing to people where ever he goes. He is one of the best men I’ve ever had the opportunity to call my friend and boss. If you have the opportunity to work for this man I would advise not to pass it up!“
“This place is one of the authentic ones! The owners are so personalized and once you get to know them, they become like family. The food and environment is a must take family or friends hang out spot. Can’t go wrong with bomb pizza and wings and the game on tv!“
“The most tasty sandwich with a lot of meet. During the day a lot of people waiting outside to take a sandwich. The absolutely best chipotle chicken sandwich I ever had. Amazing business with very nice and charming staff. Definitely worth a visit - we will come back for sure.“
“This place is so bomb I love all the food here and the employees are super sweet and patient when I'm deciding what to get since it takes me forever because I just love it all so I truly appreciate them being so kind ❤️ ?? Check this place out next time you wont be “
“Holy smokes this place is a proper sandwich shop!!!. Staff is friendly and efficient- a well oiled machine. Product is consistent, great for value and delicious!! Well composed. Not trying to say too too much because I loved the ease of parking ordering and walking out very quickly.“
“I was wondering how any restaurant would be able to successfully take over the space once occupied by Sin Muerte, which was a great establishment. Hugo's does a great job at it, and boy did they change the theme. We've gone from the somber morgue theme to a very lively, bright pink cantina, and it is so fun! Love all the funky art and the colors. Food is delicious, and I appreciate that it does not cost an arm and a leg. The menu may not look very vegetarian-friendly, but they can make just about any of the menu items vegetarian upon request. The bar area with its emerald green walls is very neat too. Drinks are colorful and fun. Metered parking outside - it's downtown Phoenix and that means parking can be a pain. Fast service with a smile. I'd go back, and would 100% recommend it.“
“Great sandwiches fast service and a genuine smile as they greet you as you come up to order. I need to start taking pictures of my journeys around town so that I can share them and maybe capture alittle if what I try to describe.Parking: I don't know what's going on but parking is available just not to close. So be ready to walk alittle unless you get very lucky and you find something across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Low tables, and enough space to use a wheel chair or walker comfortably.“
“Best subs ever. I've been coming here for almost 25 yrs. plus. The only complaint I have is. Now that I live in west phx, they need to move the shop near me. I was so spoiled when I only lived 3 minutes away. I'll always travel as far as I need toParking: Parking can be hard to find at their busy time“
“I had the jalapeño burger ? topped with a fried half jalapeño! The patti was cooked just the way I asked medium rare! Veggies were fresh and crisp. Cheese was melted just right. 2 things that I wish would be changed the burgers are priced what you would expect, but they don't come with frys. You have to pay extra for frys or any side. That makes your plate way to much compared to other similar places. The other thing would be to have the sauce on the burger have a little more flavor. The burger was kind of a little more plain than I would expect from a jalapeño burger. No spice to it at all. No heat! Other than that the burger was a 6.5 out of 10. Oh yeah almost forgot loved ? that they toasted the buns! Wish all places did that. Over all I give the place 5 out of 5 stars.Parking: Small parking lot. Side street parking on a busy night I could imagine you might have to park down the street.“
“Joshua waited on us and we had the best experience. He is so friendly and helpful and that's rare. He is a treasure. The food was great too. My coworker hadn't been here before and she's looking forward to coming back. She had the loaded nachos with chicken and I had fish tacos!“
“Cafe Zupas is the best! There are nights when we don't want to cook, but maybe because we're budgeting we don't want to go out to a restaurant. And maybe also since we're trying to eat healthier we prefer soup and salad. Cafe Zupas checks all those boxes and doesn't sacrifice flavor. The soups are delicious, their sandwiches are tasty, and they have a great variety of salads, even for those "lettuce is for rabbits" type of people. The cherry on top, no pun intended is their desserts. They're all so amazing!! So if you're craving something healthier or maybe you just don't want to cook and don't want to go out and spend a lot, please try Cafe Zupas. They're in the same category as Panera or Kneaders, but in my book, they're definitely ranked #1!!3/19/24 Update - I don't know who the male is working the sandwich/salad line around 5:30pm, but he was so polite, so kind and so welcoming. Not everyone seemed happy to be at work, which I understand, but when you work the front of the house it's kinda needed. Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't get his name but you're amazing and exactly who every business needs!!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options and atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs with upfront parking.“
“A good, friendly, classic diner. You know what to expect and they're consistent every time. The family that owns it adds their own Mexican flair, and I noticed that the dishes with that influence stands above the classic American dishes.Parking: Parking up front is limited. Large parking lot behind the building, and the back door is open (not wheel-chair accessible)“
“Had the teriyaki burger with pineapple (Amazing)...Fries are on point ..Their condiment bar has plenty to choose from ...To top it off they have a pepper ?️?️ bar YUMParking: Wheelchair access ...curbside pickup..free front parking and extended parking lotKid-friendliness: All AgesWheelchair accessibility: Yes...in front of establishment“
“Great lunch place. The best lunch option in downtown for good food, great atmosphere and friendly service. The views don't hurt either. Only downside is that some selfish people bring their dogs and pretend they are service dogs to the detriment of people with real service animals.“
“I’ve come to this specific Rubios for many years and the staff has always been excellent, especially the manager. He always greets us with a smile & positive attitude. Food is always on point, whether you dine in, or get it delivered. I love this place!“
“Potbelly offers delicious sandwiches that are made quickly, perfect for those on-the-go. While the sandwiches are tasty, they're on the smaller side for the price. Conveniently located downtown for easy access by foot, but parking can be a hassle due to the very busy downtown area. Overall, a solid choice for a quick bite if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Everything is clearly labeled and they have tons of vegan and vegetarian options.Parking: Street parking only, you will have to walk to the shop which is a hassle.“
“Took my son and daughter. Michael D. our server and host was awesome! The food was delish. Thank youParking: South of 7th Ave/Roosevelt. East side of 7th Ave, Phoenix Arizona ♥️Kid-friendliness: My son loved the choice of sauces. My daughter ❤️ the bottle of sauce for home.“
“It's fast food, but a salad.Honestly, if we want a quick salad, it isn't bad at all. The ingredients are fresh, the salad is made quickly, and the prices are fair. The downside is that there aren't any variations for the base. I think the options are mixed greens or Romain. No lettuce, arugula, or micro greens. You can add or remove ingredients, but it's not really BYOS (build your own salad) style. Sure, you can, but you would have to try and relay that to someone over a drive through speaker. It's fine, if you want a basic salad.“
“The staff was wonderful with. Ig smiles and very friendly- a lot of seating for big and small groups and the food was wonderful. Thank you Panera ??Vegetarian options: Salads and Bread mix optionsParking: Parking on north and west side of buildingKid-friendliness: Lots of seating for children and they have highchairs for young childrenWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs to enter“
“Love this place! ...I feel like this place is my own little secret place that not a whole of people have really discovered yet. :)Instead of just automatically "defaulting" to the Chipotle right next door, give this place a try! ...Change is Good! .....Their salads ROCK!! ✅??“
“This is by far my new favorite burger from the Phoenix area, I just adore the taste of the meat, the juiciness, the smoked flavors, the fresh ingredients, all this only made me want some more, I had the Bacon burger and the Tuna sandwich, everything was delicious, the customer service was good too, talking about the prices, they are cheap, I mean everything is excellent, so the price is perfect, nothing to do with the other chain restaurants, better by far. (Sorry about the pics, they don't compare in the way it looks on the way it taste).“
“Solid overall for a burger joint not hyper focused to drive thru speed. Image contains vegan burger, mandarin orange organic drink & sweet potato fries. Meal #2, mushroom Swiss grilled chicken with Brussel sprouts & the double cheese bacon monstrosity. I forgot the “
