They’re still able to get around but it takes some time so we asked what they’d like to do for lunch, they raved about this local cafe they always go to. As soon as we walked in the waitress recognized them and we talked for a few minutes before ordering. The food was delicious, service was excellent but most importantly all of the staff were extremely friendly and gracious throughout. Comfortable warm atmosphere, highly recommend.”

“We recently moved to Campbell Rive on Sept 1st and my sister ordered food for all of us working unloading the truck. The food was absolutely delicious! It was a lot of things I'd never had...the homemade dumplings were huge and flavourful and the glass noodle dish was so yummy. There was a savoury chicken dish and spicy scrumptious beef dish. Plus creamy delicious cheesecakes...a variety, plus some refreshing flavoured drinks. It was just what we needed! Everyone had so much more energy to finish the job and the drinks were so refreshing as it was such a hot day. I think the owner is the one that delivered it all and he was very friendly and polite. We'll definitely be going here again soon!”

“The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a casino. A slightly different restaurant atmosphere, but good. Nice attentive service. Food came quickly and warm. Tasted excellent. Was one of the best after 10 days BC! Gladly again when we are there.”

“We did the hotpot experience at Beijing House and it was delicious! You need to reserve in advance but it was well worth it. Cooking food at the table was a cool experience. The service was quick and the prices more than fair. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.”

Second time was the Cioppino and tiramisu.
Pizza was excellent.
Cioppino was excellent and I loved the flavor background.

“Went for a late lunch today had a backwards meal dessert first, the black forest cheesecake was excellent! We had Levi serve us he is a great treat himself perfect server (good service is hard to come by you rock!). We followed up the dessert with delicious Ramen. Trusted our server to pair our meal with drinks, wine and beer were a great match. We have been here many times food and drinks are always great.”

“Service excellent and friendly. Array of flavours was wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection. Prices very reasonable, portions generous. Waitress described butter sauce dip and raita dishes as “small” but they were deep and definitely more than enough for two of us. We’ll be back often. Two appetizers, two main dishes, and two desserts left us with plenty to take home for breakfast too.”

“We are from Port Hardy and today was the first time we tried the Canton restaurant. We don’t often get to try new Chinese restaurants but the Canton restaurant had great reviews so we gave it a try and we’re so happy we did .
We picked up five dishes and the portions were really great and not oily! I also ordered the War Wonton which didn’t disappoint! It was really good.
The quality of the ginger beef and the quality of the Almond chicken was the best we’ve ever had in the 52 years I have been on this planet. Many restaurants we’ve been to in the past serve the “fake chicken” certainly not here.
There was no delivery but picking it up was all worth it!
Oh yeah, the chicken chow mein was awesome with lots of bean sprouts and not too oily.
We give this restaurant five stars all day long!”

“Food was very tasty, but make sure you get everything you ordered....there's no screen or bill given. A lady was adding up what I ordered on a calculator then passed me the debit machine. I paid, left & realized something was missing from my order. I phoned and it was deny deny deny. I added up what we had from the menu on their website & I was charged $10 too much.”

“I'm not a big fan of franchise fast food restaurants and yet here I am. Busy or not Tims is generally not clean, half the tables are not wiped down, garbage on the floor and staff that make excuses like this is a high school cafeteria. However... When I asked a staff member about this he did go out and not just wipe my table but wiped all the tables and swept out the floor. His name is Dhillon, he works at the Discovery Place location in Campbell River, he did a good job and he was pleasant. Keep him and give him a raise!”

I guess our server decided it was more important to gender us than to provide good service. And I shouldn’t have to tell the server that I’m not a woman, I shouldn’t have to put myself in public where someone could overhear and I put myself in danger. #2: I asked for fries with my sandwich. I had to find my server and ask where they were. I also asked for no lemon and my water came with lemon. My friend also had requests missing and decided not to say anything because she is not confrontational.”

“We stopped here on our way down the island for coffee and a quick bite. It’s been said by others, but their Apple fritters really are the best! Great taste, plenty of apple, and the dough is just right. They are wonderful.
We had two fritters and two coffees and the price was under $10.00. ($9.77 actually). Amazing!!”
