“Our favorite neighborhood place. Pizza is delicious and fun. Everything on the menu is good. Really good. Smash burger night? Still good. And don't get me started on those morning bagels. Wow. Both cannoli and olive oil cake are great... Listen, this place is great, ok?My recommendation is to come early, grab a beer and a pizza, and then head on to a movie at the Balboa. What a fantastic combo.“

“Took a while to get a table and there’s not much seating inside, but we got the coziest little table by the kitchen. The spicy tomato pizza is insanely good! The rosemary pizza was solid but I felt that it needed more salt. Staff and vibe are great. Highly recommend“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.“

“Pinsa Rossa is absolutely amazing! Their appetizers, salads, and, of course, the pinsas with their crunchy, flavorful crusts are all top-notch. Ken and his team have done an incredible job creating a dining experience that’s simply outstanding!Dietary restrictions: My daughter, a brand new lactating mom who can’t consume lactose products, asked for a pinsa with vegan cheese, and we couldn’t tell the difference, it was great!Parking: There’s parking available half a block away from the place.“

“Holy Cow!! What a great place! Wonderful old school ambience. Great food. Great drinks! Great service from the wonderful Rowan! Up here from LA to visit my son who's in grad school and wanted some great Italian. Did some research and ended up here. Started with drinks - a great Manhattan and then some good wine. Great Anti-pasta dish and then a massive cast iron baked Old Chicago pizza. Unbelievably great! In a city of great Italian restaurants Capo's stands out!!“

“All I could think about was a hot bowl of tortellini soup, a simple salad with right out of the oven french bread, and Flour + Water was the spot! Old Greener Gage, Basker Hobbins and I took the Pilot House 70 miles out to the Cordell Bank and another 30 or so all the way to the Gumdrop lookin for Blue Fin Tuna. Left civilization about 2am and hit the temp brake in blue water about sun up. We musta pulled every plug in the box with no takers, had grilled cheeseburgers for lunch and even shot some clay targets...but no fish! Pulled into Battleship Row, tied her up tight, cleaned up some and headed straight to Flour + Water, and I got that Tortellini soup I was thinking about all day. It was Amazing!5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“I recently hosted a 14-person dinner at Del Popolo. The experience was seamless from initial communication to the actual event. All of the attendees were impressed by the atmosphere, food, and service. I typically don't write reviews but it should be noted that this is a wonderful venue for casual (yet nice) group dinners. Thank you team!“

“i came here on a friday evening with a friend around 5:45 pm. there was no line so we were seated immediately. when we left an hour later, there was a line. we came during restaurant week and they were doing a $45/person dinner menu, but i opted to just order from the regular menu since i wasn't a big fan of the appetizer options and really wanted to try the bucatini, which wasn't on the restaurant week menu. when our food arrived, the portions seemed slightly on the smaller side so in retrospect i felt like it would've been nice to get an appetizer to share, but none of the appetizer options were that appealing to me. i like burrata but it came with mushrooms and i don't like mushrooms (this is just a personal preference, though). even though the portions were small, i wasn't hungry but i also wasn't full, which left plenty of room for dessert. we ordered the nutella sundae - it felt a bit much for 2 people (3 is probably a better number), and there was a LOT of syrup. as for the ambiance, the biggest impression i got was that the music was pretty loud. this made the atmosphere not conducive to intimate conversations, so i would mostly go here if i wanted a fast dinner at an early time. otherwise, i feel that the atmosphere is not worth the wait.“

“Amazing baked goods and really good prices too! I love that they have a $2 cup of drip coffee. The sourdough pizza slices are really tasty and are a generous portion. Also the their cookies are tasty and massive! There is a nice selection of beer and wine for purchase too - all very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return and support this local business!“

Their salads are vibrant & fresh! Their specialty is “Pide” (Turkish pizza). They are baked to order straight out if the oven. Great food, great service from a proud family. Need I say more?“

“Perfect Italian authentic restaurant when enjoying North Beach neighborhood. zor my friends birthday I got us tickets to dear San Francisco, which is a wonderful show at Club Fugazi just 3 blocks away from this great restaurant! Paolo took wonderful care of us. His wine, suggestions and appetizer and entrée tips were the best! The pasta is homemade and very delicious and special. We tried the gnocchi with pesto, as well as a delicious braised meat, red sauce over fresh linguine. We also enjoyed the grilled (not fried) octopus. The tiramisu for dessert was perfect! I’ve been here before, and I will go back again and again for the service and authentic delicious Italian cuisine.“

“Went here for a birthday dinner with a group of 14. The service was excellent and I have never had better Italian food. Our entire party raved about their delicious meals. We had margarita pinse, arugula salad, penne arrabbiata, gnocchi, lobster ravioli, and pesto pasta to name a few of the fresh and flavorful dishes we enjoyed. Every dish exceeded expectations. Piccolo Forno is our new go-to restaurant whenever we visit San Francisco. HIGHLY recommend!“

“How did this packed and quaint Italian pizza place manage to land next to one of the most derelict corners in San Francisco? We were drawn in by the warm glow coming out if this niche in the alley. It felt like we were dropped into a 1940's Roman movie set. Rustic and authentic feeling. Like we were perhaps Italian locals just dropping in. Reservations for indoor tables are strongly recommended. And based on my opening sentence you should know that outdoor dining should not be considered. The pizzas had perfect thin yet flaky crusts and were large enough to satisfy two people. However, we found the wine to be strange — or at least better with food. And while the server was sweet, it seemed like he was the only one for the whole place. And I was a little surprised that he did not know the ingredients in flourless chocolate cake, or that he seemed to feel that panacotta should not be consumed after dinner. And after that, he was surprised when I did not want to hear his recommendations for a dessert pick. Still, I recommend this incredibly atmospheric dining room and I look forward to sampling more pizzas and a different wine.“

“Angie’s is amazing — probably the best thin crust pizza in the city! Wood fired with organic dough is the way. My girlfriend and I have tried almost all the pies on the menu and every one is great. The date + margarita with pesto drizzle are so good. Simple yet delicious apps including mixed greens salad and meatballs are also delicious.“

“Food: we ordered the happy hour eats, $10 each: Fava Bruschetta, Meatballs, Pizzetta Margherita, and Pizzetta Prosciutto The meatballs in spicy tomato sauce did not taste spicy at all. The sauce was still delicious though, and the meatballs were seasoned well, juicy, and tender. I would absolutely get it again. The Fava Bruschetta is made with fava beans, mascarpone, mint, oregano, lemon, & pecorino. The balance between the creamy spread, zesty citrus, and fresh with mint, paired very well with the meatballs. This was an unexpected favorite of mine. My one critique is that it was so difficult to cut, we had to enlist the strongest in our group to help the rest of us cut it into shareable pieces. The Pizzetta Margherita is made with marinara & basil, a classic. Nice balance between sweet and savory. The Pizzetta Prosciutto is made with panna, mozzarella, arugula, parmesan. I really enjoyed the flavor of the prosciutto. I would order both of these pizzettas again. For drinks, I ordered an Aperol Spritz and a Sbagliato. The aperol spritz was perfectly balanced between sweet and dry. Very light and crisp. Props to the bartender! The Sbagliato hit a bit on the drier side, although it was still pleasant and paired well with the food. Service: excellent service, there was never a time where we had to search & wait for our server. Possibly one of the best service I have received during happy hour. Our servers were all very attentive and would take a plate as soon as it was empty. Ambiance: My group and I went at the beginning of happy hour and while it started off relatively empty, it filled up fast! Plenty of seating for smaller groups, the staff kindly accommodated our group of 5 by placing smaller tables for 2 together. By 6pm it was pretty much full. There was a very positive energy I was picking up from the staff. Overall, a great vibe for happy hour! Would definitely return.“

“First time. Waiter was very friendly and tentative. Drinks and food came out in a timely manner and it was yummy! All of it was really good but my favorite was the beet salad, the spaghetti pasta, As for the pizza, I think we tried 4-5 different ones. My favorite was the pepperoni and the mushroom. Dessert... we did try all 3 and they were all my favorite. Was a great experience.“

“About a week ago my family and I decided to try Presidio Pizza located on Divisadero St and we all loved it! There were so many options on the menu and it was hard to choose since it all looked so good but we ended up getting the grandma style pizza. The pesto drizzle was a nice touch and the pizza was so soft and warm and definitely satisfied my pizza craving! All the ingredients were fresh and evenly distributed on every serving. I would recommend this place for people to try definitely!“

“I recently ordered a medium cheese pizza on. Friday night after work. This pizza shop is near my house so its very convenient. I have read all of the bad reviews but decided to try it regardless. I have to say that the pizza was great, The crust was very light and the sauce had a great flavor and the amount of cheese was perfect. Above all the price was very reasonable and the order was ready right as I walked in. The staff were very friendly and I will be back for sure. I would recommend this place to friends and I am happy that there is a good pizza spot near my home.“
