“A small hole-in-the-wall juicery/smoothie bar on Orange. The have a fairly broad menu with a lot of options. The store is little but they do make some pretty tasty stuff. It’s slightly pricey (though it’s expected due to location) and I think the smoothie (at least the pink crush) is perhaps a bit too sweet. The employees seemed just a bit lackadaisical, but they were all right for the most part. 4/5 for this juicery.“
“Great customer service at this location! Jenna helped us out and was very welcoming and kind. We got the Blue Lagoon and Coco Love with the Mango Coconut water and it was amazing. Will definitely be coming back, the location was also very clean.“
“Literally so incredible. We are not from San Diego but found this place on our last trip 2 years ago and loved it. I’ve been thinking that açaí bowl ever since and so for our trip this past week we purposely stayed somewhere close to here? we got bowls 4 times in the week we were in San Diego, if that tells you anything. The owner is so nice as well. Highly highly recommend!!“
“Favorite ice cream spot in San Diego! The ice cream tastes amazing and the portions are huge. Their cream texture is special. I love their chocolate flavors so I usually get their Gooey Fudge Brownie and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie.“
“A long overdue review for one of my favorite smoothie spots in San Diego. Smoothies and açaí bowls are fresh, delicious, and well-balanced. The team is always so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and has great recommendations if you ask. My go-to smoothie spot in the downtown area!“
“First time customer here. I had a kale smoothie and a breakfast burrito. Both were delicious, fresh, and a good portion size. Price is noticeably more affordable than other breakfast spots. Service and vibes were great and I’ll definitely be back“
“Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. It is a bit hidden so go to the end of the little mall by the tattoo parlor. The smoothies rock - the best fruit combos and very filling sandwiches!Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot right in front“
“We came for 2 coffees to go and were very excited about the idea of combining a flower shop and a coffee shop. It seems very harmonious and lively! Both coffees were extremely good and very balanced. The Chaga Bullet was a perfect combination, the Honey-Lavender Latte was a bit sweet for my personal taste but still very interesting. We'll definitely be back!“
“This place is delicious! Been a few times and the staff is always friendly, food comes out timely, and all the food is delicious. Most of it feels very healthy as well. The lattes are very good, in addition to the breakfast burritos, garden avocado toast, smoothie bowls, and more! Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options but also options to add eggs!“
“This place is the best! Stopped in after a long drive. I wanted something refreshing and nourishing, and received just that! Chloe helped me— was very helpful and kind. Will definitely be back during my stay here in OB. Thank you, Viol’s and Chloe!! ? Deeply grateful.“
“Stopped by here one evening a few minutes after 9pm when they close. Saw they were still open so we popped in hoping to get some ice cream. The girl working was being very patient with an indecisive customer in front of us and then extended the same patience to help us next. I truly appreciated her willingness to serve us "after hours" technically speaking. You don't see that very often these days. Now to the ice cream... they have a great mix of both unique and classic flavors. Something for everyone. The flavors are rich, but not overpowering. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. If you're a cone person. I'd highly recommend the waffle cone too.“
“Was looking for vegan food and found this place. Great mixed green salad minus the feta. The hummus veggie bagel on a great sourdough multi grain bread, because the bagel ingredients were unknown, was delicious. The very friendly employees were willing to make substitutions for me.Vegetarian options: Willing to modify most items on the menu“
“They are absolutely amazing!?Smoothies! Wraps! Bowls! Juices! ❤️ Looking for a quick pick me up, stop here. They even have nitro coffee and immunity shots here, along with all the vintage arcade games you can think of. Free of cost! We travel for a living so this is a great place to visit and put on your itinerary! They promote a free 16 oz smoothie with a purchase of a smoothie if you leave a google review too! Gotta try it! ???“
“Sooo delicious. Been coming here for 15 years +. I don't live in the neighborhood but I still visit for the watermelon ice cream drink and the ham tortas. Hands down the best smoothie and torta in San Diego. They also have their fruiteria next door where you can pick up fresh produce. Highly recommend trying senor mangos.“
“This place was a perfect spot for breakfast near a marina hotel. It’s got a great vibe, plenty of choice for breakfast and staff who were attentive and able to help.Note- the menu has changed in the last 6 months and they no longer do their cereal options. They’ll kindly do granola with fruit though! :) Attached is their new menu.“
“The best sugar cane juice!!First time trying it and really impressed with the natural, sweet and yummy flavor!! Our orders were taken quick and watching the sugar cane machine to make the juice was really cool to see. Will definitely come back for some yummy juice“
“Hidden gem. After arriving in San Diego very late the night before and needing a good cup of coffee the next morning I looked at yelp to see what my coffee options were. Luckily this place was just down the same road my hotel is. Tucked out of the way in an office complex at the end of a dead end road is this hidden gem. Great selection of great coffee.“
“I am from Phoenix and come to OB about 4 times a year. This was my first time at We Be OB. We were on the way back from the dog park and decided we were hungry, but we had no wallet, only phones. We decided to stop and see if they had Apple Pay and they did. They are the home of the panini dog but since it was 9:30 am we thought the breakfast special was in order. Half sausage and egg panini and coffee for $7. We also got the 1/2 Linguica sausage and egg panini and in all honestly was the best breakfast sammy I have ever had. The sausage is a Portuguese smoked pork seasoned with garlic and paprika. YOU HAVE GOT TO HAVE ONE! The half was a perfect size. You will not be disappointed.“
“We highly recommend FuelTHYCells we order all the way from St George Utah. Product is always very well packed. You feel the difference in your body not tired not lagging and of course this is a kids favorite my 6 year will take his seamoss and elderberry like nothing but not his vitamins he fights me. You won’t be disappointed buy from the best in SD“
“Full disclosure: the owner and his tiny right hand man are friends of mine. Even so, there is nothing else bad that can be said about them.Jp (owner) is second gen vegan and a skilled chef. His food is great and produced with care and sustainability in mind. His mini me TJ (effeminate pretty boy) is...um...well, JP likes him. He follows direction well, comes when called, is house broken, and he learned how to spell his name...T. J. Last month. If you are vegan, and even if you're not, this place is definitely worth the trip.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, raw, and organicWheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“I LOVE acai bowls and was pleasantly surprised by Northside Shack's variety of toppings. The bowls are expensive, as many are these days, but the large ($17) was great to share between two people. You can have as many bases (acai, pitaya, or coconut) as you'd like with unlimited toppings. There are some additional toppings available for a cost, and adding peanut butter for $2 was very worthwhile. Peanut butter complements the fruit so well and there was plenty in the bowl. There was a bit of a wait as the bases may be blended fresh and it was busy on a weekend around noon. There aren't any tables but a few benches and chairs outside the shop. The North Park Mini Park is a couple blocks away if you're looking for a picnic table. They gave us a plate with our to-go packaged bowl which really helped catch the many toppings piled on top of the large bowl.“
“This is an ideal place to have around when you are guilt ridden. They have the largest menu of juices and licuados. I ordered this delicious pineapple carrot and orange juice combination that tasted so fresh and amazing. We also ordered an acai bowl topped with strawberry, banana, and acai that filled the craving even if it was not the most legit bowl. The prices are reasonable and the options feel limitless.“
“Best sandwich shop in SD!!! The food is fantastic(the chipotle chicken sammich is my fav) the salads are tasty and fresh. The smoothies are refreshing and it's so clean for its location. Right next to the trolly makes it convenient to get to the only surprise is its never “
“When work brings me to the San Diego Convention Center, one of my favorite perks is getting to swing by Achilles Coffee in the Gaslamp District. This spot has quickly become my go-to for breakfast and a much-needed caffeine fix to kickstart the day. In fact, I just stopped by today and got The Warrior Breakfast, which comes with fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with cheese, a stack of three mini pancakes drizzled with a syrup that's absolutely delicious, creamy smashed avocado, and a choice between bacon or cranberry sausage. The perfect fuel for a busy day I had ahead, complemented of course by a beautifully crafted latte. I'm already looking forward to my visit tomorrow to try their breakfast burrito. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“
“My favorite bahn mi place in the Chula Vista/National City area. Run by a sweet family and their bahn mi always hit the spot especially for the price. You can even see them make your sandwich as the kitchen is easily seen from the front. My favorites are the crispy pork belly (heo quay) and the grilled pork (thit nuong). Much love to this place and I hope they continue to serve our community with fresh bahn mi :)))“
“This little cafe made my day! I was tagging along with my boyfriend to his physical therapy appointment in case he needed my help, and upon seeing the cafe sign, I knew I was in for a treat...but after the appointment. I love me an iced mocha and I love trying new coffee places. The owner was super nice and super cool to chat with. Great personality. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our coffee drinks very much (he had a caramel macchiato), and we each had a yummy chocolate almond croissant. The place was neat and clean with a great vibe along with limited indoor counter seating looking out the window. We took our order home, but I'm sure we'll get to stay and enjoy our coffee and snacks there another time.“
“Really great all natural fresh smoothies and fruit bowls! Very popular with the locals, I will definitely seek out a location next time I'm in SoCal.No inside seating though. Walk-up window or order ahead. They were making online orders even before their window opening time.Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian. Some things with milk and milk alternatives“
“I've tried Dori Boba's drinks twice, and overall, it's been a decent experience. Taro Milk Tea: It was good, a bit sweet for my liking without modifications. The texture, typical of taro milk tea, was slightly grainy but not overwhelming. Boba: Unfortunately, the boba was inconsistent with varying textures--some too chewy, some hard. Seemed like a mix of undercooked, overcooked, and just right. Vietnamese Coffee: Not my favorite; less sweet and a bit bitter compared to what I expected from Vietnamese Coffee. Service has been good, and the cashier is friendly. They offer a 5% cash discount. Despite not being my top choice for boba or Vietnamese coffee, it's conveniently close to work, and I might give it a few more tries. Oh and the interior does have a room for a few people to sit, but I can see how the seating could be uncomfortable if it is really busy.“
“One of the very few places to get breakfast in Old Town. Outdoor seating and only 4 tables indoor. Limited breakfast menu. The service was fast and friendly . We had the egg croissant and Pitaya bowl. Very good. Lots of fresh fruit. The pitaya was more like an icy slush that would be refreshing on a hot day but not a cold morning. At 9:30 in the morning there were lots of people.“
“Excellent, so good, we need this everywhere and they cater for big events. Coffee? It is so much more, specialty teas, bobas and deserts and easy parking in Ralphs. Grandma, granddaughter and son all loved it and that is rare we can all agree. This place made us happy.Kid-friendliness: Great for picky, variety and options, and customWheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramps“
“first time here & WOW there turkey avocado sandwich on chibatta bread was so fresh & there signature sauce spicy was DELICIOUS ! Me & my gf both got drinks she got the slimmer juice & it was healthy & fresh also I got the very berry & it was perfect as well 100% recommend this amazing spot“
“I got a mushroom mocha type of drink, I can't remember exactly what it was called but it was delicious and clean. It's a cool little spot with outlets & a flower wall that's good to get a little work done or reading. Everyone there was chill & helpful, definitely pay them a visit“
“Starting my day in the Mission Valley area and found this nice coffee shop. It’s in a business area that you’d never really think about going to. Free one hour parking through a ticketed gate. The caramel and salt cold brew is YUM. Highly recommended. Also had the egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich. Hit the spot. They have some different drink options such as super smoothies and cold brew cocktails. Definitely recommended if you’re near the area. Very close to Dave and Busters also.“
“The food is so good that I can't stop thinking about Allthe things that are so good and the fish is amazing the Patatachap is so good with rice your smoothies are great and clean floors amazing customer service backround is nice how you cook is amazing the gyro is so good thanks nana Fofo Waseem mark martin James for all the things that you make you guys are so helpful five star of course“
“Nice little coffee ☕️ spot. It's a little place with big O.B. personality. Nestled on the corner of an alley, but aspirations of a big-time bistro. Personable service with a smile and charm from the staff. Thanks for the great coffee.“
“My wife and I both ordered the 3 day juice cleanse. I am NOT a beet fan (one of the juices was made with beets) but it was soooo good! The 6th juice of the day was my favorite- kind of like a dessert at the end of the day. We loved the juices so much, we ordered the cleanse again (allow them at least 5 hours to make before pick up). We both feel great and it was an excellent kick start to our new healthier lifestyle! On another note: their acai bowls are delicious!!! Wish this place had some type of a rewards program - apparently they used to. We will be going back as this has become our new favorite spot for juices and acai bowls!“
“Visited for the first time today and ordered a Reese’s frozen yogurt and it was absolutely DIVINE!!! Amazing customer service as well, our cashier was very friendly and offered great advice when choosing a flavor. Will be coming back 100%. Very rarely do i feel the need to write a review as soon as I leave a location but this place deserves the attention!“
“Updating to 5 stars based on my second visit. It's pretty good and service is amazing! Place is cool. People are very nice. The large froyo is a great deal, $10 and it's really big! This amount at Pinkberry would probably be $20. I liked the original tart with strawberries and mochi. All the Dole stuff is really good. I actually caught the Dole ship at the harbor, the Dole Caribbean and all the Dole containers and trucks! It was just a short walk from here! I liked the pineapple products the most. Service is actually really amazing. They opened a new mochi pack because the one I had before was a little stale. And the girl working here (I think her name is Mia, according to my receipt) remembered me from yesterday! A little embarrassing perhaps, considering I ordered so much multiple times in the span of a couple days, but very nice and made me feel welcome :) I liked the mango madness smoothie and peaches peaches shake more than the strawberry banana or San Diego Squeeze smoothies, which surprised me because my default is strawberry banana! If you're at the convention center or a nearby hotel it's worth checking out! I wish I could come back!“
“The staff are the best. They remember my name always and always ask me how I have been, where I've been, etc., makes it feel like I am supporting my friends business. The food is also great but I'm a creature of habit and always get the same thing“
“I was in the area and saw the great reviews so I decided to try it out. I will have to say that this was the most expensive boba drink I've had in SD, but I can't even lie and say how delicious the drink was. The teas go for $6+ and with boba I paid $7.60 which is a lotttt. I got the rose green tea and it was soo fresh and refreshing. I was really impressed. I don't think I would go back unless I was in the area, but I do recommend a try because the tea was sooo good“
“The. Best. Torta de lomo. Ever. The meat is juicy and tender, and it actually has some spice to it because of the jalapeños they add. All of the veggies and avocado is fresh!!! The agua frescas and smoothies that I've tried are delicious as well. The ladies who work there are sweet, thorough and efficient. Not to mention, fast! Only thing I don't so much care for is the space itself. It's very small and usually overcrowded, and no public restroom is available. Also the parking lot is always a mess because there are multiple businesses in the area, but it's all worth it for this food, truuuust!“
“The Italian buffet provided a cozy ambiance and enticing aromas, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The Italian sub sandwich, featuring freshly baked bread, crisp vegetables, and savory meats, perfectly accented with olive oil and vinegar, was a highlight. Complementing the sandwich, the assortment of pizzas offered a delicious variety, ensuring a truly satisfying experience.“
“I had a really good ice cream creation here called the Coffee Coco (coffee ice cream, walnuts, peanut butter, fudge)! The portions were very generous at a medium size with 3 full scoops of ice cream and a whole bunch of walnuts and a wad of peanut butter. The employees were really friendly as well. There were several ice cream creations that really caught my eye, like the caramel banana, apple pie, the other coffee flavor, and some fruity/cheesecake ones as well. The area outside is kind of sketchy though.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kuma Cafe, and I must say, the experience was delightfully satisfying! The highlight of my visit was their Rice with Chicken and Quinoa dish. Not only was it prepared to perfection, but it also offered a healthy twist to my meal, making it a guilt-free indulgence. Great place for a quick bite.“
“Gone here a couple times, both time for a late lunch. It wasn't busy at all. We ordered at the counter and our sandwiches were ready in about 10mins. First of all, these sandwiches are huge. The bread is perfectly toasted, crunchy outside soft inside. The chipotle sauce is soOo yummy with the cool deli meat as well as the warm carne asada. Definitely one of the better tortas I've tried. They also offer juices, salads, tosti-'s, etc. there is small dining area is available, no public restroom. Good for a quick lunch or to grab a meal to go. Small parking lot shared with other businesses. It seems like they make a specific amount of hot meats and can run out later in the day. (We wanted a couple chicken tortas, but they only had enough meat for one sandwich... we got deli ham instead , and it was just as good!)“
“This place is a hidden gem. Everything on the menu is super fresh, and a great value. Their club sandwich is the best I’ve ever had — and the size was huge for the price. They have a large menu and I can’t wait to try more items in the future.“
“This was sooooo delicious!! The atmosphere was super cute and the flight was great choice! I was definitely eager to go back the next day….. even went back—- but they’re closed on Mondays….. THEY HAVE GOOD ICE CREAM!! My flight had 2 servings of Lemon Custard! ?“
“A local mom and pop place in one of the busy plazas of convoy, which I was not surprise. We came here after dinner next door because we wanted something sweet and a dessert to top off our meal. A lot of the ordering was sort of confusing, but we opted to pick their top choices which was advertise on a banner. We got the purple rice yogurt drink and the mango yogurt drink. The dessert comes from Taiwanese culture i believe, but the dessert itself is a blended rice mixture with yogurt based, fruit, and cream. Overall, the drink was decent, but it just missed the mark for me being a dessert after a heavy meal. I was hoping their flavors to be bolder and stand out more, but missed the mark. However; I will still keep this as an option for dessert late night because I love supporting local mom and pop stores.“
“Extremely friendly group of people working there. I have tried almost all the teas and several coffees. All are outstanding. The Iced Tea Sunrise is my personal favorite. Glad to see they are successful enough to expand into the neighboring empty spaces next to them. Highly recommend this fun little business.“
“Awesome breakfast spot - and unlike other places, it was not super busy on a Saturday! We were seated right away & service was great! We sat outside (by choice) and it was nice! They had a full breakfast menu with a Spanish flare! It was all good food. I especially loved the potatoes, they were crispy on the outside!Drinks - we got the mimosa flight to share, chai tea, iced coffees and the fresh orange juice! It was all great!! Bonus they have milk alternatives for your coffee!“
