The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a rustic decor that's both elegant and comfortable. The menu at Clayton's Bakery and Bistro is a real treat, with a wide selection of delicious baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and more. “We had dinner and brunch the next day. Everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive and was helpful with the menu. We had a great time. I ordered the octopus to share and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked and came with delicious gnocchi. She ordered the steak with blue crab topping. Also perfect! We had to take a bit home. I ordered the turnover for desert to share. I really enjoyed the turnover. The brunch had just about everything you could want (They don't have crab legs).I do miss the old Hotel Del Coronado brunch they used to have. That brunch has been shut down since COVID.“
“It is the first time I was in Coronado. My mom and I were looking for a place to have breakfast. We arrived at this restaurant, we ordered some green enchiladas and they were really delicious, a very generous portion. The service was excellent, all the girls in the restaurant were very friendly and pleasant.I almost don't like bread, obviously I love it. We ordered some Muffins, one chocolate and one almond, both delicious and also a puff pastry bread with chocolate inside, equally delicious.I almost forgot, the coffee was also delicious.“
“The portions are very good,> the delicious al DENTE pasta... I remember when I went to Italy, very original...> The squid is very delicious and the sauce is an excellent combination.> Delicious and fresh tiramisu dessert not too sweet..> Everything delicious and XtraVegetarian options: The variety of salads and soups are very good.Parking: It's very safeKid-friendliness: In the outside area, comfortable seats for themWheelchair accessibility: Spacious“
“Fantastic place to eat. Great service, cozy ambiance. Will definitely come again.Parking wasn't the greatest though so budget arrival time for your reservation accordingly.Parking: At least it's free parking after 1800. Still hard to find a parking spot though.“
“Ciccia Osteria is a gem of authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Barrio Logan. The chefs, Mario and Francesca, use recipes from Northern Italy and pair them with exquisite wines. They even bake their own panettone, a traditional Christmas cake. The restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with food made with love. However, parking can be tricky, so I recommend taking an Uber. They accept walk-ins, but make sure to dress warmly in winter, as they only have patio dining. The menu has a variety of dishes to suit every taste, but my personal favorite is the mushroom flan. It is creamy, savory, and simply delicious. I also enjoyed the milanese veal, which was tender and crispy. The smoky old-fashioned cocktail and the roccotta olive oil spread for the fresh bread were also amazing. And of course, I could not resist their lasagne, which was rich and satisfying.Ciccia Osteria is my new go-to place for Italian food in San Diego. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes. If you are looking for a genuine and delightful Italian experience, you should definitely check it out.Ciccia Osteria has earned a Bib Gourmand designation from the Michelin Guide. This means that it offers good quality and good value cooking, which is rare to find these days.Parking: Take an UberWheelchair accessibility: Ease first floor.“
“My favorite place in all of San Diego. A locally owned restaurant that makes everything (bread, pastries, deli meats, etc) from scratch and does not compromise on flavor and quality. The açaí bowl and egg n’ biscuit sandwich are my favorite dishes along with their scones.“
“Nice fancy place! Surprisingly very fast service, only took a few minutes to get our food. The entire interior has a faint smell of truffles because truffle is an ingredient in some of the dishes, which makes the experience unique. Truffle can be added to ur dishes too. I also completely recommend the polenta“
“These have got to be the best cookies I have ever had! I was visiting SD from out of town and found this place. I ended up making two trips because they were that good. Glad I was able to enjoy some great cookies and support a black owned business! And the portion size matches the price.“
“First time at this location in IB - Wanted to work for a bit and enjoy a good space, coffee and scenery, stopped by. Sebastian was working and was very helpful in helping me decide what drink to try.Picked up a Midnight Vietnamese (hot) + a empanada (bacon and egg) both were delicious! I love the functional lattes. Their drinks aren't loaded with sugar and a bunch of bad stuff!!“
“Good, clean pizza. A few tips.1/ Plenty of street parking2/ The protein crust is a bit dry, so ask for a buffalo sauce. We added some hot sauce on the side3/ Vegetables were fresh and crisp4/ Vegan cheese was indistinguishable from dairy5/ a personal pizza is sufficient for two people.“
“My favorite ever croissants. I’ve brought my entire (non vegan) family here one by one and they are just as obsessed as me.We got a cake once too and it was amazing. And I’m not even a cake girly. Also don’t miss the lemon bar ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“I recently tried TNT Pizza for takeout and was thoroughly impressed! The crust was perfectly crispy yet fluffy, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. The flavor combinations were unique and delicious, leaving me craving more with every bite. Overall, TNT Pizza exceeded my expectations and I'll definitely be ordering from them again soon!“
“We stayed nearby Sunnyboy boy during our visit to San Diego and decided to give the place a try one day. Wish we came sooner because the food is delicious! The biscuits and gravy were good but I’d definitely get the fried chicken and biscuits! It does get busy around lunch time but it’s worth the quick wait. The staff is also very nice which is a huge plus!“
“Excellent service. Fun, eclectic interior. Extensive, thoughtful, innovative and well-executed menu. This place is all over it.?My breakfast tacos were packed with lusciousness and were accented beautifully with fresh salsa and a great serrano hot sauce the server provided. I also tried the orange cinnamon roll pancake special; the base pancake batter was just ok, and I didn’t get much orange flavor, but with the great crunchy topping, and the cinnamon both in the butter and swirled nicely into the cake, it was an overall success.?I’ll def hit this place up again the next time I have the opportunity.“
“My son and I come to Phatties weekly and we love it here. The atmosphere is super cute, always a friendly welcome and their pastries and coffees are phenomenal. The best gluten free and vegan options in San Diego. And there’s always a great selection.“
“What we enjoyed the most was the excellent and friendly service from Grant who not only gave us great food suggestions but also some tips on where to go out on town. We are visiting so we very much appreciated his friendliness! The venue is unique and the vibe is happy and fun!“
“Hadn’t been to this location in years but stopped in yesterday for dessert. There was an issue with the computer system which held up the line for a bit, but the gentleman manning the register did a really great job managing everyone’s expectations and getting things moving again.Seems like management needs to invest in better IT/POS systems but other than that minor inconvenience this place never misses. One thing I particularly love about this business is they clearly use A+ ingredients in everything they make. That goes a long way these days when many businesses are cutting corners.“
“Love this place and the flavor, best Ethiopian Food in San Diego County. Order black injera for gluten free people so you can get 100% teff injera. I have been going here for years and every time I bring friends everyone is so pleased. Grateful for this gem! Their store is amazing as well! You can buy injera and other herbs/spices as well! Cant wait to go here again!“
“This is the oldest vegetarian spot in San Diego, adding a cool historical vibe to your dining experience. The star of the show, besides the delicious food, is Olivia – a charming and ever-helpful person. Her positivity is contagious, making every visit feel like a delightful reunion. Knowing there's such a warm and welcoming person like Olivia working there is the cherry on top, making you want to keep coming back for more wholesome goodness.“
“WHAT A TREAT!! This ice cream, cookie sandwich-situation is out of this world! The ice cream was decadent and creamy and full of flavor! The cookies were warm and perfectly baked!! The service was so nice & the shop itself was just the cutest - with its very laid back feel! 10/10 !! I highly recommend! Cheers!!“
“This place was very unassuming but the sandwiches were great! Literally a hole in the wall with great food which are our favorite places to stop for lunch. As I was standing there I noticed the smell of freshly cooked bacon which made me more hungry. They had creative choices and a lot of them. The deli meats and toppings tasted fresh and the sandwiches were nicely crafted. All our sandwiches were spot on. To top it all off the service was very friendly. If you are looking for a quick lunch for the family check this place out!“
“Indulge in the best and most delicious Creole cuisine in town, offering a wide variety of choices at seasonal prices compared to other Creole restaurants in San Diego. Located in a safe area with plenty of parking space, the service has been consistently attentive during all three of our visits, even during peak times. It's the perfect spot to enjoy an exceptional meal with friends after a long workweek.Don't miss their 'caviar'—it's a satisfying meal on its own. Their creamy and flavorful crayfish étouffée never disappoints, and the blackened catfish is fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor, making it a highly recommended option for a healthier yet comforting meal. The pasta jambalaya offers a unique twist on the classic dish. Overall, it's a truly great place to savor the mouthwatering flavors of Creole cuisine.“
“Good breakfast food but sub par service. The hostess got my cell phone number wrong and after 40 mins of waiting I went back in to check on the status only to be told our table had been given away. Once sat, the waitress was very attentive at the beginning but then was nowhere to be found for 30 full minutes at the end. The food itself is good and is comparable to The Broken Yolk, and came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The atmosphere is quaint and eclectic with most of the seating outdoors. If this was within walking distance of my place, I would probably come here on weekends, but wouldn’t make the drive to eat here again.“
“I got their Tofu Pad See Ew and it was extremely flavorful. Their mild spice level added some great flavor without being too spicy.I like how this location has outdoor seating and can accommodate a larger group (10 people), compared to their original location. The staff made our meals in a relatively quick time period but still maintained it's great quality.“
“What a great French bakery in Little Italy! They have so many pastries and lunch options available here, as well as coffees and teas. I loved their Croifeuille (the flattened croissant with pastry cream between)! Inside is beautifully decorated. They only have a couple seats and it gets pretty busy so I recommend coming early if you can!“
“I still have dreams about this dinner. We found this restaurant closed to our hotel so we gave it a shot. It was AMAZINGLY good! We loved everything we ordered, but the dessert. Yes, if I really have to say something is about the dessert, we didn’t like it at all! The puff pastry was a bit undercooked, so it tasted weird on my mouth. But the rest was superb!“
“Recommend for a refreshing stop for a pastry and drink. Good amount of seating available, including outside. Friendly staff!Ordered Orange Sugar bun & iced honey lavender oat milk latte. The flavor did sit at bottom of cup (no straws). The bun has such great flavor and texture. Would stop by again for a snack or breakfast. Does have bathroom.“
“Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen continues to impress with their terrific pizzas, pastas, salads, and paninis. I've returned several times since 2021 and have had several different items, including a most recent Pistachio Burrata Pizza with imported prosciutto and a garnish of chopped pistachios and arugula. The pizza's crust is fantastic and offers great texture and flavor. The milky mozzarella cheese with the prosciutto is bliss. I liked that they were not heavy-handed on the balsamic but drizzled just enough to bring the pizza together nicely. On a previous date, I had the gnocchi Verona with pesto, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. If you like gnocchi and pesto, this one is a winner. New on their menu for spring is the vegetable calzone filled with fresh crisp vegetables and harvest pear salad. They are both wonderful.A while back, I had the Prime Steak Panini with a delicious and juicy prime flat iron steak. The panini comes with "Prime steak, pesto, banana peppers, provolone cheese, pickled cucumber and arugula" (Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen, 2024). This panini is a must if you like steak and paninis. It's a winner! One thing I love about Pesto Craft Kitchen is that every time I return, they seem to be elevated their food to new heights.“
“This place is a true blast from the past, like stepping into a time machine. The service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely amazing! You can't go wrong with their cabbage roll and Reuben sandwich—they're a must-try! And be sure not to miss out on visiting the bakery too.“
“We were in OB for a long weekend and luckily this gem was just down the street! I think we ended up stopping in for multiple things every night. Everything was delicious but the cinnamon rolls were amazing!!!! You must stop in there for one Sunday morning. They are truly something special!“
“Our quest for a quality cake within our tight budget was arduous until we discovered Frost Me. Prior to finding them, we had tried numerous cakes from different vendors, each failing to meet our expectations either in taste, ability to deliver, or affordability. With just six weeks left until our wedding, we were losing hope until we discovered Frost Me.We were immediately impressed by the taste and quality of Frost Me's cakes. The frosting was perfectly balanced in consistency, texture, taste and mouthfeel, while the cake itself was a delightful combination of moistness and fluffiness. The cake was not only delicious but also had a fresh and light flavor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the unique churro flavor, and even my discerning husband, who fancies himself a cake connoisseur, was thoroughly impressed.Having a three-tiered, elegantly designed, and delicious cake was crucial to fulfilling my our vision and ensuring our guests had a memorable experience. Additionally, Frost Me accommodated our gluten-free needs flawlessly, providing a gluten-free version that tasted just as amazing as the main cake.Audrey, the talent behind Frost Me, was not only professional and knowledgeable but also artistic in her approach. We were incredibly grateful that she was able to take on our wedding on such short notice. The simple yet elegant design they crafted perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of our celebration. We wholeheartedly recommend Frost Me to anyone in search of a top-notch wedding cake that exceeds expectations in taste, quality, and design.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Wedding Cake“
“This place is delicious! There was no wait time, which was surprising because it was Sunday noon. The place was very nice, the atmosphere and the vibes were great! The plates are individually designed, but you can definitely share them with your +1. I ordered the short ribs omelet, turkey Benedict, and Dutch pancake. And to drink a pitcher of Sandia Margarita. Everything was exquisite! 10 out of 10!!Oh! And the waiters... LOVED them!!!“
“Informal place to eat delicious pizzas, I recommend the normal cheese one and the chicken one. Good prices for the area. Fast service although the place was quite dirty, there is no staff cleaning the tables or collecting the waste that users leave on them.“
“Love this place! I had the zen breakfast and found it delicious and filling. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was busy but well managed. Will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Zen breakfast came with egg whites and salsa, deliciously cooked tofu, grilled vegetables, and brown rice. Very tasty and would order again!“
“This pizza had no business being this good!!! I actually can't remember the last time I had pizza that made me stop mid bite and rethink my choices in the best way! Lol. Woodstock's passed every check on my list. I'm already planning my next trip back. I ordered the personal pan pepperoni pizza. I'm a simple gal, and this surely hit the spot. Located in the heart of PB, nice music, TVs with sports playing, pool and games if you so wish, outside seating with fire pits. The ambiance was cool and laid back. 10/10, highly recommend.“
“Love coming here on an evening after work. A great place to have a killer cocktail or glass of wine. The place is so classy and when it is packed on a weekend brunch it is lively and fun! I’m always helped by Roberto the manager who is here to make sure the evening is smooth and comfortable. I came for dinner once with my partner during restaurant week and the food was gorgeous. I recommend!“
“We came for the first time in 2015, eclair was very delicious. My sister and I decided to have breakfast at Partfait yesterday. Egg benedict was a little salty but delicious. It was lighter and more delicious when made with a croissant. My favorite this time was Nutella Cruffin. If you like Nutella, you should definitely try it. Of course, I will go again at the first opportunity.“
“A little bit of Portland, OR (pre COVID) in the heart of San Diego Beach country. My wife and I tried OB last night and we were not disappointed. So far this is the best restaurant we have enjoyed in the San Diego area and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good fried rice dish. The setting is a half bar and half restaurant but even with two kids we didn't feel out of place nor did we feel like we were in an adult only place. I highly recommend OBs if you want a good meal near Mission Bay.“
“It is delicious and you can tell it is popular as there is always a line to get in. Their specialty, as their name suggests, are pancakes, and although there are normal ones, the best are the German ones, which are a giant crepe type filled with caramelized apple or vegetables with cheese. A little expensive but worth it“
“I recently tried The Trails Eatery for breakfast in San Diego, CA, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, especially the pancakes and omelets. The portions were generous and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to start the day.“
“Had an INCREDIBLE experience at Muzita. Came for a girls night dinner and none of us had tried Eritrean/Ethiopian food before, so we asked our server to surprise us and I’m not kidding that every single thing we ate was phenomenal! We sat outside and the ambiance was so homey and cozy, with fresh air as the sun was setting and a super warm heat lamp when it got chilly. Can’t wait to go back! Follow me on IG @Maddieeeats for more SD food stuff :)“
“I've been with The Lean Machine for four years and I've never been disappointed. My order has always been on time, there are never any meals missing, and it's very tasty. The menu is diverse and the seasoning is just right. Five stars!!“
“Finally... a place to "treat yourself" without the regrets. Picked up a Tiramisu cake for Easter and it was a hit. Who doesn't over do it on holiday meals and forces the desert because you've already over indulged? But this was SO DELICIOUS and did not leave you with a sugar hangover. You also will feel very welcome and appreciated when you are there. Take my money!“
“The pizza is good, the staff is really kind and chill just how you would expect in a pizza port at OBI always get the chronic pale ale beer I highly recommend itThey have a couple of arcade games, this place is good for a large party or to come with the family“
“Hungry lu's is so good! I've been looking for good Italian sandwiches around San Diego for quite a while now. I'm so glad that I found this Italian sandwich shop. I've had their pastrami sandwich here and it was quite delicious. It had a lot of flavor and seemed like it was brined really well. Next time around I tried their Italian sandwich since it was an Italian sandwich bakery store. They did not disappoint. It was fantastic, there was a lot of meat in the sandwich which I appreciate and the bread was nice and toasted. These two are some of my favorite sandwiches in San Diego. Hungry lu's uses a lot of fresh ingredients in their sandwiches and it shows. They gave me such a cool old school Italian sandwich shop vibe and I absolutely love it. I've gotten sandwiches for a lot of friends and family and they all enjoyed it. My boyfriend says hungry lu's every time I ask someone kind of sandwich she wants. I don't blame him“
“We love eating here. Carla the cashier is super friendly, very attentive and gave us information on how to earn points towards our food since we eat here all the time. She was very helpful and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the tofu dishes!“
“Truly an experience with self. This magiackal majestic space allows me to reflect in my existence. Connect to the Rolodex of experiences and emotions. To put away and release what no longer makes sense and bring forth what is ready to be birth into this experience. A space of immense community and epic humans making a difference in the world coming from their creative heart spacesVegetarian options: Delicious afDietary restrictions: State them they got you covered!Parking: Plenty although as we know in ca, the journey of driving in circles, if attending an event come earlierKid-friendliness: Playful playgroundWheelchair accessibility: Safe and welcoming“
“Gluten free, dairy free, protein-packed donuts. They are not just good, they are killer! I randomly walked into this place with a friend, not expecting to get anything but his usual coffee order, and saw their amazing looking baked goods. I never can get anything fun at coffee shops with all of my food allergies, but when we asked, the barista let us know that not only are most of their treats GF, but also dairy free!!! The lemon lavender donut blew my mind, it was so amazing. Might even be one of the best donuts I have ever had, even before my allergies hit. I cannot wait for another excuse to be in Coronado so I can get another one.“
