“Such a beautiful spot in Coronado, with a large front patio great for people watching and enjoying our perfect SD weather. We come specifically for the Korean prime skirt steak - it is so good!!! Great and attentive service, modern and light ambiance, beautiful location and excellent food and drinks.“
“One of my favorite gelato store in San Diego, Nado Gelato offers a wide selection of gelato flavors ranging from chocolate to tart flavors like berry & lemon. I personally love all the italian flavors (panna cotta, amaretto and stracciatella) but my personal favorite is the opera (which taste like nutella milk ice cream with bits of hazelnut!) Parking can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends but I like to walk around Coronado before treating myself to a small/kid size gelato at Nado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always friendly & quick. Parking: Street parking Price: $ Recommendation: Opera & Amaretto They do offer coffee but I personally haven't tried it so this review is solely based on their delicious, creamy gelato!“
“We love brunch here - dinner is a different level of service. We were handed a happy hour menu and later told by the server it was not being honored because it's Easter Sunday. Not Michelin Star service to not have a manager address it. Further, our escargot is normally fantastic - but they all had dirt in them this time. We did not report this to service because it seemed like a forgivable anomaly at the time. We'll be back - but probably stick to brunch.“
“Many have enjoyed the pasta, pizza and salad at Buona Forchetta. My review is on their brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. It’s not well known that they are offering one of the best brunches in Coronado. We had the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever had. The homemade English muffin and all of the ingredients were top notch. The restaurant was empty on a Friday morning so I think it’s time that the word got out that just a short walk from Orange Avenue, there is an outstanding brunch with a varied innovative menu! We very much enjoyed it!“
“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well! The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“

“Clayton's Bakery and Bistro is a charming little spot that's perfect for a cozy breakfast, lunch, or brunch with friends or family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a rustic decor that's both elegant and comfortable. The menu at Clayton's Bakery and Bistro is a real treat, with a wide selection of delicious baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and more. The bakery is especially noteworthy, with a variety of fresh breads, pastries, and cakes that are all made in-house. Whether you're in the mood for a savory quiche or a sweet croissant, you're sure to find something that will make your taste buds sing. But the real star of the show at Clayton's Bakery and Bistro is the service. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, you're sure to leave feeling satisfied and happy.“
“If you’re in Coronado don’t even bother going anywhere else for breakfast until you’ve stopped here.Strong quick service, delicious high quality food. Giant portions, come hungry. This was takeout so I imagine sit down is even better.“
“Wow!! Incredible. The best lobster roll I’ve ever had, the lobster was excellently seasoned and the roll melted in your mouth. I love the beans and coleslaw as well. Good pairing! The server Seth was so kind and made the experience so great. Also, love the lobster bisque and clam chowder.“
“Located on the strip. Cute spot with a diner feel. It was perfect after being on the beach with the kids. They had a variety of ice cream, soda pop, and treats like cookies and donuts. I got the sundae with 3 flavors, brownie batter, coffee and banana Nutella. It was covered with fudge, nuts, whip cream and 3 cherries. It was perfect! The service was great, the made sure the line got down quick by helping each other with customer. We had a large order and they on it! I recommend this spot!“
“It is a hole in the wall that delivers the best tacos and burritos. We tried their street tacos with shrimp, veg burritos, and chicken burritos. The tacos and veg burritos had us come back second time. You have tables outside for a quick bite. Definitely give it a try and you will like it. The places has a good traffic all the time and service is fast.“
“Awesome breakfast spot - and unlike other places, it was not super busy on a Saturday! We were seated right away & service was great! We sat outside (by choice) and it was nice! They had a full breakfast menu with a Spanish flare! It was all good food. I especially loved the potatoes, they were crispy on the outside!Drinks - we got the mimosa flight to share, chai tea, iced coffees and the fresh orange juice! It was all great!! Bonus they have milk alternatives for your coffee!“
“Cool brewery. The beer is very good. 5/5 Beer.Overall the experience was decent. The food was pretty good but nothing mind blowing. The service was lack luster. We had a very inattentive waiter that took an extremely long time to check in on us. Another waiter actually had to help us because they were so slow.“
“A small kiosk by Coronado Beach, which always has a long line of customers waiting to order. There are usually two very young ladies, super efficient and friendly, despite the heavy workload, always very warm and welcoming. And the coffee, it is just delicious. It is impossible I go to Coronado Beach and not try their coffee. Freshly brewed and is served at just the right temperature. Highly recommend trying their coffee but make sure not to get addicted like me lol“
“Our go-to place in San Diego- yes, I know it's in Coronado...but in the area :-) Gaslamp is expensive and just overall NOT pleasant when you're over 35. The Little Club has a total mix of ages, stages, couples, groups, friends. It's our go-to. Very neighborhood feel. Good prices. Highly recommend!!“
“I recommend the Sand Dabs and Trout Amandine for the best value for your money. They are delicious and satisfy a hungry appetite. If you order the cioppino, depending on the day, you may have to order something else or ask for more bread. Overall, great ambience, service and food. Also Jim, the manager, is customer focused and wants to ensure every patron is happy with their experience.“
“My family and I went here for dinner and it was delicious! From the bread, crab cakes, and main entrees, we were all impressed with how everything tasted. The servers were amazing with making this a dining experience we won’t forget as we were on vacation. The next time we come back to this area, we want to come for brunch!“
“First time here, no wait in line. Ribs are fall off the rib, and super yummy. Also grab the Mac and Cheese. Super friendly staff asking how we were when we got there and while we were eating. It’s clean and lots of space to move around. Definitely try it out.“
“Found this by accident. Before heading to airport we all felt like getting some good Coronado pizza. I pulled car over to do a search, and it was right next to us.Excellent freshly made pizza to enjoy relaxing on their sidewalk table side dining. Good selection of fine spirits and more. They even keep the pets in mind with the complementary water bowl. Our kind of place.“
“In case you’d like to take it back to the dark dive bar days this is the spot for you. Cheap drinks, pool table, music from a jukebox (the new kind) and all the memorabilia from the old days of the Navy and Coronado reminds you of a different time.“
“We visited this delightful gem last night. My husband and I asked our waiter, Nico, for his recommendations and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered the meatballs (absolutely delicious, they were soft and cooked to perfection), the Rosemary pizza (also delicious) only minor complaint, I would have preferred a slightly crispier crust), two small side salads (fresh and nicely dressed), and Tiramisu. Fun fact, I’m not a tiramisu fan at all… and was planning to order something else. But, Nico gently persuaded us to order the Tiramisu … and it was really good… creamy, moist, and not too sweet. We’ll definitely return for another visit.“
“We had dinner and brunch the next day. Everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive and was helpful with the menu. We had a great time. I ordered the octopus to share and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked and came with delicious gnocchi. She ordered the steak with blue crab topping. Also perfect! We had to take a bit home. I ordered the turnover for desert to share. I really enjoyed the turnover. The brunch had just about everything you could want (They don't have crab legs).I do miss the old Hotel Del Coronado brunch they used to have. That brunch has been shut down since COVID.“
“The clam chowder was good, as was the gemelli (twisted noodle) seafood pasta in basil cream sauce (a solid 4/5). Maybe it needed a little more fish and sauce on the noodles. The halibut was cooked well, but the Nawlins seasoning was too forced. I was hoping for sea bass, but I didn’t see it on the menu the day we were there. Our server was terrific. Make reservations for 5:15 if you want a guaranteed window seat inside overlooking the boats. Take your time before dinner and enjoy oyster shots or oysters Rockefeller if you prefer them cooked.“
“So let me tell ya something. I was in town hanging oht with my daughter after her return from deployment with the Navy & this little location was on our radar. U will walk right past this location if your not paying attention but oh my goodness is it legit. They make their cones by hand and that little detail I think makes this place a diamond. We ended up stopping here 6 times over the week that I was in town. My favorite was the strawberry cheesecake. My daughter loved the Oreo. Easily the best place we stopped at while I was there in town. AAA+++“
“Saiko is a unique experience in Coronado. Their use of fresh seafood makes a huge impact on the already mouth watering food selection. My friend and I sat on the patio with our dogs which was very nice. You can enjoy a view of the canal a block away. Drinks were fantastic with a fun list of sake flights. They know their stuff and service was great! Definitely coming back.“
“Good value! Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Customer service was very good. We went when it was crowded and the food came out fast and the staff were Friendly and very helpful! They were working hard to keep up with customer demands.“
“Casual spot for pizza and pasta with great views. You choose where you would like to sit and then order via the QR code on the table. They deliver the food to you.We had pizza and garlic knots, and both were tasty! Prices were very reasonable.“
“Nestled on the picturesque Coronado Island, Parakeet Cafe is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the stage for culinary excellence. Let's talk lattes – not only are they impeccably brewed, but they're also adorned with works of art that almost seem too beautiful to sip. Each swirl and design on the foam tells a story of skill and passion, making every latte a masterpiece in its own right. And then there's the Brekkie Croissant breakfast sandwich, a symphony of flavors nestled between layers of buttery perfection. The star of the show? The tangy allure of goat cheese, harmonizing perfectly with the richness of perfectly cooked eggs, all encased within a flaky croissant. One bite, and you'll understand why it's a must-have for breakfast aficionados and food enthusiasts alike. So, whether you're craving a caffeine fix or seeking a culinary adventure, Parakeet Cafe is the destination where every sip and bite is crafted with care and creativity, promising a truly memorable dining experience on Coronado Island.“
“Had a great veggie burger with cheese here - it was served with a delish aioli and the fries were fantastic. Service was good. Typical pub feels inside, brought back memories of the gastropubs we enjoyed while visiting Ireland a few years back.“
“We always leave Tartine’s amazed at how they prepare, pair and serve the food so perfectly! This week we had two dinners there - both, from beginning to end, superb. The spotted bass was prepared perfectly- with just the right amount of seasonings to compliment- not overpower. The pairing of seasonal vegetables was perfect - and the preparation was perfect -with hints of lemon and dill but not heavy at all!The chicken dish over risotto was delicious with the risotto not too thick or cream heavy.Green salads and beef barley soup along with the DELICIOUS bread made the meal complete. We too home a fabulous Tiramisu cheesecake. Both servers - Erin and our server last night - were wonderful. The owners always are present and are part of what makes Tartines run so smoothly!! Thank you!!! You serve amazing, healthy, delicious meals with grace!! ❤️ ❤️??“
“I came here with my wife on our honeymoon. It was a beautiful place, our servers were top notch and amazing. Very kind, stayed to talk a little, got us our food, and made the dining experience very pleasant. My only gripe was our main courses were not the best. My fiancée got the lobster risotto, a special they had, but the lobster tail was very over cooked and rubbery. The risotto was tremendous in its own right though! Possibly just a mishap. I got the lasagna, which is bolognese that they make, but the sheets they don’t. A note, they do make their own pasta for the rest of the menu options, but when it comes to the lasagna, as it was a special, the sheets aren’t made in house. The sauce was very bright, too acidic, but the portion was a good size, and the cook was great on it. Just a little too bright for my taste, that being said, very delicious nonetheless.I would 100% come back here, as the staff and the atmosphere really made this a nice evening. Even though the food was slightly lacking, the appetizers were tasty (burrata, bread). The risotto they served could honestly be served without the lobster tail, and it still would’ve been a knock out. Also, ask for freshly ground black pepper. It’s fun.“
“Pretty darn delicious. We ordered four different kinds of burger, nice sized, fresh ingredients - no disappointments. The non-dairy shakes are smooth and tasty. Staff was friendly. Place was super clean.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free dessert? I couldn’t tell. Also, dye-free sugar-sweetened soda. Very nice.“
“I bought coffee daily at Starbucks for years ...for my dear Dad. Vente black hot coffee. My drink is always an iced Americana add shot in a Trenta cup- extra ice and 10 Splenda with a side of non fat milk. 7:30 Dad's coffee arrived, and after every medical Dr's appointment, we picked up another black coffee! The Starbucks team is kind and efficient. Starbucks coffee is yummy. My Dad died Jan 1, 2023. I couldn't go to Starbucks. I couldn't go anywhere except to 8 AM Mass. Days passed, and months and 1 day, I was in line, and I realized I was not going to order his black coffee. I burst into tears. I couldn't get outta line and I ordered my drink and they asked if I wanted the black coffee....I could not answer. I still haven't, and it's cause I feel Dad's spirit in the seat next to me - smelling the coffee. Here's to you, dear Dad. Thanks to all the Statbucks team for being kind and patient. May this come back to you - a lifetimes worth.“
“I loved my experience here. The food was excellent. I had the pineapple fried rice, the wagyo burger, and topped it off with the 7 layer chocolate cake. Emily was amazing, and the bartender made a killer pain killer. I will definitely be back, probably in a few hours lol“
“A small hole-in-the-wall juicery/smoothie bar on Orange. The have a fairly broad menu with a lot of options. The store is little but they do make some pretty tasty stuff. It’s slightly pricey (though it’s expected due to location) and I think the smoothie (at least the pink crush) is perhaps a bit too sweet. The employees seemed just a bit lackadaisical, but they were all right for the most part. 4/5 for this juicery.“
“Nice poke cafe along Coronado's main street. Plenty of options, as well as building your own. Bowls can be filled high enough that mixing becomes a challenge if that's your preference.Ordered the spicy tuna bowl and a Thai iced tea. The poke was good, though the tea did not have enough condensed milk.“
“The portions are very good,> the delicious al DENTE pasta... I remember when I went to Italy, very original...> The squid is very delicious and the sauce is an excellent combination.> Delicious and fresh tiramisu dessert not too sweet..> Everything delicious and XtraVegetarian options: The variety of salads and soups are very good.Parking: It's very safeKid-friendliness: In the outside area, comfortable seats for themWheelchair accessibility: Spacious“
“Loved this ROTTEN place...?.Service was spot-on for our large party of 11. Way to go Tiffany!!! ???? Food was spot on with ROTTEN burger and fries!Beer was outstanding on a Friday afternoon facing Coronado Bay!~Definitely will be back!~Highly recommend!!!“
“My husband and I had a great dinner at Brigantine. Our server, Fernando, was really kind and helpful with recommendations - along with suggestions on places to visit while in San Diego. All of the food that we ordered was great. The jumbo crab cake was our all time favorite! We also had the grilled oysters, the chopped chicken salad, and the blackened swordfish. Everything was fantastic!“
“Gluten free, dairy free, protein-packed donuts. They are not just good, they are killer! I randomly walked into this place with a friend, not expecting to get anything but his usual coffee order, and saw their amazing looking baked goods. I never can get anything fun at coffee shops with all of my food allergies, but when we asked, the barista let us know that not only are most of their treats GF, but also dairy free!!! The lemon lavender donut blew my mind, it was so amazing. Might even be one of the best donuts I have ever had, even before my allergies hit. I cannot wait for another excuse to be in Coronado so I can get another one.“
