Get it by the pound to take home with the freshly made street tortillas right behind you in one direction, and freshly made guacamole (3 spice levels!) in the other direction. Salsas? 3-4 acres of options. Want it right now? Have it there with rice and beans (con manteca?), in nachos, tacos… maybe tortas? I can’t remember. Lots of seating all around. Just go get the pig!“

“Located inside the Northgate mall. Very good tamales, with many flavors and styles to choose from, most at $3 each. I've been here twice - the first time was at dinner time and they were out of all the meat tamales and just had corn and other sweet varieties. Don't know if this is the norm, but for the second visit I went at lunchtime and they had a full selection. Flavor of the pork tamales was very good, but there was very little meat. The mall itself is packed with shoppers and diners, both at lunchtime and at dinnertime, and the parking lot can be a zoo. Recommend parking farther out and walking to the mall.
