“This restaurant was right next door to my hotel, just outside the side door. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that many of the patrons were still wearing their coats. I was shortly seated and took my coat off, then it became apparent why everyone else still kept their coats on. It was just cold inside the restaurant. I put my coat back on and then ordered a Dragon Roll, some Sushi Rice, Miso Soup and a large Sapporo. Everything was perfect! The Dragon Roll was plated perfectly, the Miso was very hot and the Sushi Rice was delightful! The only downer was the cold room.”
“Food is good. Ordered 5 dishes based on the recommendation on the menu and on the wall. All of them are above expectations. If the dish size could be a bit larger, the 5-star is well deserved”
“I recently visited HanSang with my coworkers after a business trip, and we were all thoroughly impressed! The food quality was outstanding—everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The service was equally excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!”

“Great food and service. My wife said it was the best spaghetti she ever had.”

“Taco food truck.
They were friendly in their treatment and explained our questions about the menu. It is very economical and the price quantity is great!
We made a combo of tacos and a churro. Both the al pastor tacos and the chicken ones... they are all delicious.
The only bad thing is that there is nowhere nearby to take them, although they have a couple of chairs to wait for your order.
I recommend it!
Parking: There is something super in front and people park to order and pick up.”

“This restaurant is close to the Milbrae Caltrain and Bart stations and the San Francisco International airport. It's an excellent choice for having food when dropping or waiting to pick up someone at the airport. The food is fresh and delicious There are good vegetarian choices.”
“The seats in the restaurant are comfortable, the place is clean, and the waiters are attentive. It has a Hong Kong-style teahouse style, and the food is of average quality. The company's sandwich menu has a Hong Kong feel, including garlic fried chicken wings, baked pork chop rice, and stir-fried beef river. I think the milk tea doesn't have enough flavor, there is room for improvement. This is a restaurant I will visit again.”
“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free). The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁”
“I've been here many times in the past two or three years and it's always delicious! I must order the squirrel fish every time. I also like the lotus root sandwich, pearl meatballs, hot dry noodles and tofu skin. They are also delicious.”

“The name comes from the ability to order small plates of what you want, letting you stitch together the meal you want (and no more / extra). It's not the best quality sashimi, and I wouldn't go here for ambience, but service is quick and you get exactly what's promised. The non-sushi portions are better than I expected”

“The food here is really, really good. I came here to eat out with a friend of mine and ordered the house garlic noodles, Dungeness crab, and imperial rolls. I can't say much about the service since they gave me and my friend lots of time to catch up, so depending on what you expect, it's pretty good. That's why I gave service 4 stars. Good, but not exactly outstanding. The atmosphere is really nice. I would personally sit on a patio if it's offered, but that's completely your choice.”
“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.”
“The food here is awesome. Don't sit around in the place, it's like a fast food restaurant in person: bleak and no one cares what it looks like. All you need to do is pick up the food! The chicken katsu was great and the meat medley/combo dish. Love this!
Parking: There's an in n out right next to it and the line was out of the parking lot (insane). That blocks off spots to park but we parked anyway and people were very accommodating.”
“I really loved the pickled sliced beef noodle with rice noodles in the first few bites. But I made the mistake of asking for some soy sauce and black vinegar, and I didn't realize both sauces were sweetened, which killed all the nice spicy flavors. I need to re try this soup again to properly evaluate.
The biang biang lamb dry noodle was mid.”
“Love this place! Service is excellent, and the food is truly spicy!”
“The pizza is always good there but that's all we ever go for. So I don't know much about the rest. We usually take the pizza with us. We ate there one time and it was okay.”

“A must visit place for noodle lovers. Been there several times with friends. The dishes that we normally order are the hand pulled noodles with beef slices and broth, fries noodles 🍜 and a few skewers of shish kebabs.”
“I got a Mongolian beef combo for takeout. Easily one of the best asian dishes I have had especially for that price. The rice was also excellent. The soup was not great but not a big deal for me.
The beef was excellent in quality and the flavor was amazing. I don’t know whether this is authentic or not. The dish was spicy but not unappetizing spicy.
Will certainly go there if I come back”
“What a treat! We ordered the Coconut Chicken, Green Beans (Spicy), Smoked Pork Fried Rice, and steamed egg. All the dishes were so delicious. The coconut chicken was prepared right at our table in a kind of “Melting Pot” sort of way which made for some exciting anticipation. Definitely worth a repeat trip.”
“Great Hong Kong style breakfast, we enjoyed our breakfast choice of HK milk tea plus noodles plus mini sandwiches. The fried donut, the spicy noodles are very nicely done too. We recommend it to diners who would like to experience the Hong Kong style breakfast and ambience.”
“Still my favorite HK cafe in the peninsula. Been a customer since the VIP days. Carol, Jesse and Ling are some of the nicest people I’ve met. Feels like neighbors. I love their baked items with red sauce, their curry dishes, and their beef chow fen. And hands down most authentic milk tea!”

“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in California, it literally won an award for that. I myself am Chinese and this was so GOOD. We ordered the fish in chili oil/sauce and it was perfectly cooked and the flavor was so good. We also ordered beef soup noodles, my kids ate it all and also some dumplings that my daughter ate all of.?Overall very good place. I approve.”

“Love their juices. I strongly recommend that you stop by and try anything from their menu.”
“Dombe noodles were delicious, the broth was rich but not super oily, pork was very tender. Tables, seats and floors were clean. Service was quick and friendly. They also have kpop videos playing on the tv in the back too which is fun
Parking: Depends on the day but on most weekdays you can probably park at one of the spots right in front of the restaurant.”

“Detailed review of Ponyo:
If you're in Millbrae, make sure to put Ponyo on your to go-list! Ponyo has an amazing selection of Asian foods. From masubi, ramen, coconut pudding, probiotic drinks, sparkling waters, crackers, seafood snacks, chips, desserts, samplers (at the counter), and to the best part, trending snacks you would see all over social media!! One of the trending snacks are Melo Melo, but the newest item I've seen today (date of this review) at Ponyo, is the trending Tao Qi Peach ice cream (photo).
Though, one suggestion I would make for customers, is to bring your own bag, since the bags provided are cheaply made and have paper cut-like handles. My friends and passerby's also complained that the bag handles were too sharp and thought, oh, it's not just me. To the boss of Ponyo, as good service, please provide better bags for your customers. In addition, the place is a little cramped and warm, so strollers or wheelchairs would not fit well.
Overall, the snacks that Ponyo provides are good for people who are fans of something (e.g. Hello Kitty), have dietary restrictions like vegans (e.g. Melo Melo), and great when on dates. Come check it out!! ?
Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free and Vegan options available (e.g. coconut pudding, drinks, etc.)
Kid-friendliness: A variety of foods for children to snack on.
Wheelchair accessibility: Too cramped for wheelchairs.”

“I discovered this small bakery on Broadway Street in Millbrae, and it's become my go-to spot for fresh bread and buns. Every day, the bread is incredibly fresh, with that perfect balance of softness and crispness. The buns take me back to my childhood—so soft, fluffy, and flavorful, just the way I remember them. It’s rare to find a bakery that feels this authentic, with such delicious, homemade-quality baked goods. If you love fresh bread and want a taste of nostalgia, this is the place to go!”
“Very cute to-go place. Perfect for a quick lunch pick up especially if you work in South City. I got the unagi with egg (savory with a hint of sweetness) and takoyaki which were both hot and fresh! I want to try the fruit sando and pork sando next time.I purchased it at the Kei Sushi location.”
“The owner was very nice and the food are all tasty and very good, good portioning for all the orders. For sure will go back feels like being in Thailand already. See ewe TOm kha Papaya salad with salted crab duck friend rice Fried chicken Sticky rice duck curry . Everyting was tasty and satisfying 🤤🤤🤤”

“I recently dined at The Super Burrito in Millbrae and was thoroughly impressed. While I didn't try the burritos, I highly recommend their fajita tacos. The steak and chicken were both incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also sampled the 'Super Taco,' and it was a feast for the senses! It was generously filled with delicious ingredients and was surprisingly light for its size. The restaurant itself has a lively and casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back to try their famous burritos next time”
“Found this little gem while on a layover at SFO and the food was amazing! I had the Curry Sliced Beef Ramen and it was probably the best I’ve had. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. I only gave the service 2 stars because it is an online order and someone just deeply it off at the table. Would definitely recommend though.”
“Great portion of food. Delicious and comforting. The items on menu themselves are not on the cheap side but given its large portion, it has good value for sure.
Chef’s specials are all pretty good. I am not Northeastern China local but I have tried six different dishes so far and it never missed. Very satisfying.
They also sell frozen premade food. It is also great! Dumplings and Baos are yummy.”
“Very friendly cashier. I wish the fries were hot instead of barely warm. The main purpose of the visit was to take my kid for the root beer float. Good experience, so I will return with my other kid for the root bear float and some other food on our next visit.Update: Different cashier today. Very nice lady with a 49ers #10 white jersey was very friendly and pleasant. As stated last Sunday that I would bring my other kids, I did, and they were very happy dining here. Ordered the same meal from last week, the wrap combo- honey bbq and spicy Mac and cheese, and three chicken pot pies.”
“Great sushi 😋😋🤤🤤. Feel like mom and pa places in Japan. Cozy feel!! Really like and enjoy.”
“The fried beef river is very good and the seasonal vegetables in the soup are good. The portion is large.
The only drawback was that we were sitting near the fish pond, and while the chef was catching the fish, the fish flopped a few times and splashed water onto us who were eating. .”

“A very solid Chinese restaurant in the area! I really love their lettuce wraps as well as their hand pulled noodle soups! The atmosphere is basic but it gets the job done very well. The tables and cloths are a little worn. Service is very friendly and the waiter can make good recommendations!
Parking: Parking here is extremely difficult as there is not much street parking in front of the business. Do not park in front of the liquor store as well as he can threaten to call the tow truck. Either park out back of the business or find somewhere else and walk.”
“BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN MILLBRAE!!!
the food is good, quality-wise, and service is fast.
I had order from this place multiple food. Today I ordered a hot and sour soup, THE BEST Hot and Sour I had so far!!’ Tangy, sour-y, pungent, hot!!!! It was delicious and only $6 bucks.
And I had their baked sea bass in portugese sauce!!! THE BEST portugese sauce I had so far in my life as well!!!!
The food is high quality, delicious!!!!!! Come check their place.”
“Social Eatery food hall is a gem located in Millbrae offering a variety of Chinese cuisine all in one easy-to-reach location. Social Eatery has a parking lot for patrons, which makes dining in easy. Upon entering the food hall, patrons will be guided to a table, and provided with a tablet on which they can place their orders from a variety of establishments contained within Social Eatery. After the order is placed, a staff member will bring the food and beverages straight to your table! When it's time to check out, you can either do so via their app/online or request a staff member to come and help you close out your bill.
Social Eatery has the following 3 restaurants within: (1) Noodleosophy - a local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes; (2) Rice Monster - specializing in Catonese claypot rice; and (3) Grapeholic - a tea shop with grape-centered drinks to round it out.
We came here on a Saturday afternoon looking for a one-stop shop for our weekend lunch and decided to try something from each one of the establishments - after all, isn't that the beauty of food halls? We got the beef tendon noodle soup and prok and shrimp dumplings from Noodleosophy, the cha siu and steamed egg claypot rice from Rice Monster, and finished up our meal with two drinks from Grapeholic - cotton candy grape slush, and grape and lemon tea.
(1) Noodleosophy - the beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole.
(2) Rice Monster - the cha siu and steamed egg clay pot rice was in a single word - satisfying. The salty-slightly-sweet cha siu paired well with the mild flavors of the egg, and the salty soy sauce you pour over the rice. I will say the rice could have been a little more scorched to provide the accompanying crunch that you expect from this dish; however, if you're really craving claypot rice and are in the area, then Rice Monster will definitely help satisfy that craving for you.
(3) Grapeholic - the cotton candy grape slush was amazing - true to it's name it captured the cotton candy grape flavor in a delicious slush form that was both sweet and refreshing. The grape and lemon tea was also good; however, the lemon flavor was a bit overpowering and made it difficult to truly enjoy the grape that was in the drink. If you want grape to be the star of the show, then I'd recommend getting one of their grape-centered drinks instead.
If you're ever in the Millbrae area and are looking for a great lunch spot, then Social Eatery has to be the next place on your list!”
“I love boba and I love T4. I always come here to get my boba since it is the closest boba place to my house. My favorite one is the pearl milk tea. Their smoothies are also good too. They also have snacks and Korean foods. I highly recommend T4.
Parking: There is street parking in front but it can be difficult to find parking at times because it is on a downtown street.”
“Ordered an Ethiopia Guji Uraga and it was really good. Magnitudes better than anything from Starbucks.
I don't really get the bad reviews talking about bad or tasteless coffee. Maybe most people associate coffee with burnt beans combined with tons of milk and sugar, as served in some coffeehouse chains.
Watching the beans being roasted and transfered between the storage for green beans, roasted beans and the coffee machines via tubes is also quite a show.”
“Our family enjoys eating at Naked Fish in Millbrae. Their sushi rolls and bento boxes are always delicious. There are many options to choose from between the menu and their daily specials. Their food is presented well and amply portioned. Their service is consistently good and the servers are attentive. Whether we eat a late lunch or dinner with family and friends, we always leave this place full and content. My only criticism of this place is the location. Because the gym is directly above it, more specifically, the weight room, you can hear the weights dropping on the floor on certain occasions and it’s distracting. However, because we enjoy eating here more than anything else, we tolerate the noise on the few instances it’s happened. There is ample parking around, both on the street and in the parking lot next to it.Overall, I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood.”
“Great consistently tasty food. Good selection of both seafood and non seafood items. My family loves celebrating birthdays here.”

“A few years ago, I felt like I was in a fairyland because of Salzburg’s classic delicate desserts. I went there again and stayed longer to eat desserts twice a week. Recently, I saw the introduction of your company Soufflé by Little Red Book last month with Mr. I tasted it with the feeling of treasure hunting. It was quite pleasant. Although it added a little more noodles, it lost a little lightness.
Still have a relaxed sense of happiness
Yesterday I couldn't help but taste the soufflé again. I felt that the egg whites had more flour, which made them less fluffy. I also lost the motivation to feel them and the desire to taste them again.
Alas, after all, wonderland is not so easy to construct. There are fewer classic dessert shops like this in Salzburg now.”

“Excellent service, great quality bakery, a relaxing ambiance, and (again) wonderful employees. It was easy to grab what we wanted. We arrived around 12:30PM and most of the bakery was still in stock.
We asked the worker at the register to see if they could toast some of the bakery with meats and they gladly helped! They were jumbling around a few customers as well and they got to help us in a timely manner. huge props to them for the help!
The coffee and drinks were very delicious. The bakery was great and the location of this place is great. We parked at the Safeway parking lot and walked. It was an easy and very accessible.
Overall, an excellent place to get your bakery goods, delicious cakes or sandwiches. Would highly recommend coming here before you trek outside of San Francisco!”

“Absolutely delicious and the presentation is off the charts! Even my French wife was impressed : ) Wonderful service, freshest sushi that I've had in years, incredibly tasty, perfect blends of flavors and textures. Loved the Sake selection presentation by one of the knowledgeable owners (see video). My highest recommendation for this excellent Japanese restaurant in Millbrae to experience the Art of Kaiseki in its truest essence!”
