“I think actual price of menu was a bit higher than what was online/on the table but not a huge issue. Food was decent and good enough for the price, service was super attentive for certain tables and generally good overall. Great for a date where you’re not tryna spend an insane amount of money”
“The peppercorn deep fried Dungeness crab was delicious. It was cooked just right. Meat was fresh, tender and tasty esp with the chopped garlic and peppercorns. The lightly breaded deep fried shell was perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Definitely will come again!”

“Amazing Turkish restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. The kebabs were juicy, the bread was fresh, and everything was well presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine. I will definitely come back again”
“Unexpectedly good. Excellent nigiri. Hand rolls just right. Balance of fish and flavor. They have the basics and I’d love to see them venture to other kinds of fish like mackerel and sardine. If I lived locally I’d come here again and again. Nice Japanese music. Easy atmosphere. Enjoyable for a long meal.”
“Came for a dinner. Surprisingly this new one was much better than the old one. Foods were delicious, close to Hong Kong taste. Portions not small. Prices were a bit expensive compared with other cafes. Nice environment. Spacious. Clean. High ceiling. Friendly service. Definitely will be come back to try another foods.”
“Got the super tacos and the Ramen. The beef taco was just insane. The flavor of the beef was unmatched. The soup was just as incredible. I dumped my remaining sauce from the super tacos into it and it just melted in my mouth with that fall apart beef. BEST damn Ramen I've ever had.”

“Amazing sushi! Easily one of the best we’ve had in a while — everything was so fresh and flavorful. I love the idea of half rolls; it’s such a great way to try more kinds of sushi. The staff were super attentive and efficient. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.”
“Noodleosophy is local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes, and this location in particular can be found in Millbrae's Social Eatery food hall. As part of Social Eatery, patrons can take a seat within the food hall, place their orders on the provided tablet, and a staff member will bring the food an beverages straight to your table.
We decided to get their beef tendon noodle soup and selected the biang biang noodles (you're able to customize the dish to your liking with whatever noodle option you prefer). We also got a side of their pork and shrimp dumplings, because who doesn't love dumplings?
The beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole.
If you're ever in the Millbrae area and want a one-stop shop for all your dining and beverage needs, then Social Eatery is definitely the place to go and be sure to enjoy some delicious hand-pulled noodles from Noodleosophy while you're at it!”
“We walked in a little after 6 without realizing they had already closed — total facepalm moment. The owner was counting the register and clearly wrapping up for the night, and we felt awful. But instead of turning us away, he kindly took our order and made us feel completely welcome.
You could tell he was ready to go home, yet he still treated us with so much warmth and patience. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. We’ll definitely be back — and next time, we promise to check the hours first.”
“I usually get the kalbi and chicken katsu half and half, and it is consistently solid every time. The portions are filling, the kalbi is flavorful, and the katsu is crispy and reliable. It is one of those comfort meals where I know exactly what to expect.
Parking can be somewhat difficult since the lot is shared with In-N-Out, which gets busy quickly, especially during peak hours. I almost always order ahead, so the wait time is reasonable and pickup is smooth.
The ambiance is just okay. It is casual and functional, nothing special. The cashiers are fine, not overly friendly but not rude, and service is straightforward.
I keep coming back because it is consistent, filling, and a good value for the price. It is not a destination spot, but it is a dependable go-to when I am craving kalbi, katsu, or classic Hawaiian comfort food.”
“Forgot to take a picture of my falafel plate but it was delicious, healthy and was cooked pretty quickly! Staff was super friendly! Would definitely come again when I’m back in the area”
“This place is my go-to whenever I’m craving some light soup or galbijim. Their soups are simple but delicious, comforting and perfect for a cold day. Beyond that, their galbijim is on par with the popular Daeho, making it an excellent choice for groups. It’s super flavorful, tender, and filling, so it’s great for sharing and enjoying a hearty meal with friends or family. The combination of comforting soups and standout galbijim keeps me coming back again and again.”

“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free). The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁”
“Enjoyed the lunch there. Ordered some beef noodle soup, two lamb dishes, one cold salad , dumpling bao, pan fried green beans. All tasted excellent. Of course the stars are noodles and lamb. The damage is under 100 for 3 with some left over.”
“Charming Chinese restaurant in Millbrae that focuses on the Sichuan cuisine. The Mapo tofu was delicious, and the cold spicy noodles were superb. Beef noodle soup was surprisingly good as well. Fast and efficient service. Interior is small, so not ideal for large parties. Parking can be challenging, as the free parking lot fills up fast and is shared with several other local businesses.”
“If you are looking for that HK style but can't afford the airplane tixs or don't want to travel just to get it. This is the place for you. Came here on Sunday about 30 minutes after opening and 75% of the tables were full.
Their HK Milk tea is very strong and authentic. Not watered down at all. Comes with condensed milk already added. Just need to stir it.
We went for the beef stew noodle soup, Russian Borsch soup and baked pork chop over spaghetti.
Beef stew noodle soup - extremely tender and flavorful. The noodle had the right kind of snap and soup was very good.
Russian Borsch soup - was exactly how we remembered it. Excellent choice.
Baked pork chop over spaghetti- pork chop was meaty, tender, no fatty like a few other place. Great quality meat.
This is a definite place to save as a favorite to get your HK food and HK milk tea fix on.”
“One of my favorite breakfast places in the Bay. Pricing is great and love the set meals. If Cantonese style breakfast is not your thing, they have other small plate options.
One thing to note, congee comes with sliced ginger. If you don’t like ginger, ask the to take it out.”
“This place deserves better reviews. The roasted duck is absolutely tasty and food was all very delicious. The price is so fair for such a big portion. Keep in mind this is Chinese restaurant so it’s totally okay to just raise your hand to tell them what you want. Don’t let the service stop you from trying the food here!”

“Love their juices. I strongly recommend that you stop by and try anything from their menu.”
“Korean place with good vegan options. Items are labelled vegetarian on the menu, some items need to be modified to be made vegan. Clarify that the banchans are vegan (they have fish cake sometimes). Like greens, bean sprouts, and fried tofu banchan they have. Bathroom was nice and clean.
Love the mushroom tofu soup, really flavorful and they are generous with the mushrooms. Also got the hot stone tofu bibimbap, make sure to ask for no egg to make it vegan. Good option to go to if going with a group of omnis, can also accomodate larger groups as well but would consider making a reservation if the party is 6+.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The tea here is good compared to other tea shops in the area. The milk and sugar doesn't overwhelm the tea. The shop is decorated with anime figures but there's no seating in the shop. Ordering is through just 1 kiosk, but our tea order of 4 was prepared in a timely manner. Parking was not a problem on a Tuesday afternoon.”

“First time trying this place and wow so good! Ordered thur doordash, it was about 20 minutes and the drinks taste delicious! I am satisfied that I had my boba cravings. We got 3 drinks, classic black milk tea with boba, taro & milk, grapefruit green tea with lime. It was all bombing. Will try others soon, free delivery over $15 promotion. Finished pretty quick so no pictures:)”
“Today was my first time trying Chef Wang’s and the food was amazing! My mom usually prefers halal options, so she ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp chow mein, and sesame shrimp. Recently one of her patients brought food from here to her office, and she loved it so much that she asked where it was from so that’s how we discovered this place.
When we called to place our takeout order, the man on the phone was incredibly kind. The prices were very reasonable, and when I went to pick up the order the woman working there was so sweet. She even added egg rolls on the house, which was such a thoughtful surprise.
The restaurant looked very clean and the tables were set up nicely. It was a little quiet when I went in, which made me a bit sad because it seems like it’s run by a small family. It’s slightly tucked away on the street, but their food truly deserves more attention.
Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food, but every dish was delicious. I especially appreciate that they use shrimp instead of giant prawns, shrimp has so much more flavor and better texture in my opinion.
I’m really glad we found this place and I look forward to coming back and continuing to support this local small business!”
“Everything was incredible !
Was welcomed and helped by a very kind lady who spoke Spanish!
Food was off the charts from the beef noodle soup to the dumplings and chicken nuggets !

And we can’t wait to come back ! We stayed a long time just relaxing and playing games
Thank you all for a great experience 😌😊”
“The owner was very nice and the food are all tasty and very good, good portioning for all the orders. For sure will go back feels like being in Thailand already. See ewe TOm kha Papaya salad with salted crab duck friend rice Fried chicken Sticky rice duck curry . Everyting was tasty and satisfying 🤤🤤🤤”

“We were disappointed with our previous favorite Sichuan restaurant on our second visit there. We found this Michelin recommended restaurant as a replacement. We were very impressed. The quality was on par with the best restaurants in Asia, which is a rarity in the US. The beautifully photographed menu made item selection easy. The veggies even turned out better than the picture in the menu. They truly deserve all those awards on their wall. We will make it our regular chinese restaurant from now on.
My wife's干煸肥肠was the best she had ever had.”

“Very friendly cashier. I wish the fries were hot instead of barely warm. The main purpose of the visit was to take my kid for the root beer float. Good experience, so I will return with my other kid for the root bear float and some other food on our next visit.Update: Different cashier today. Very nice lady with a 49ers #10 white jersey was very friendly and pleasant. As stated last Sunday that I would bring my other kids, I did, and they were very happy dining here. Ordered the same meal from last week, the wrap combo- honey bbq and spicy Mac and cheese, and three chicken pot pies.”
“Food is really good. And also good value. It’s usually not busy but tonight between the walk in to go orders, third party app and walk ins they were slammed. A good neighborhood spot that can also do banquet style cuisine. I recommend this place especially when the weather turns and you need hot food that tastes great!”
“My son has been raving about the Sweet & Sour Fish at the restaurant. So we went there while we were visiting him and his fiancé. The fish were nicely fried, crunchy, coated with the traditional Chinese restaurant sweet and sour source. I thought if the fish were in smaller pieces, it would be better. We also order a few other dishes and they were decent. We ordered the beef tendon and they gave us like 2 lbs of them. Came to find out that it was charged by the pound. They should have asked us how much do we want. That said, at the end of the day, every thing was good and we would go back.”
“Found this little gem while on a layover at SFO and the food was amazing! I had the Curry Sliced Beef Ramen and it was probably the best I’ve had. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. I only gave the service 2 stars because it is an online order and someone just deeply it off at the table. Would definitely recommend though.”
“I haven't eat here for quite a while. The dimsum is good compared to alot of other nearby Chinese restaurants. It's not busy at all so food come out super fast. Service is great. Waitress keep checking on us every 15 min. Overall I'm happy with the visit and recommend eating here.”

“So nostalgic coming back to t4 as it was childhood memory for people that went to the near by schools like mills or BIS, their food and drinks are still very good.
Ordered snack combo and came back to get their tofu snack, freshly fried soft tofu so it’s piping hot and good with some sauces
Not to mention the employee here are very nice, the lady working the cashier kept offering if there’s anything else I needed when I eat in the store but had to bring some leftover to go with a Togo bag, even opening the bag and tried to bag it for me. That’s beyond boba shop level customer service 😆”
“My favorite dessert spot ever. You will have to see the amount of points in my reward account to understand my love for this store. Whenever I walked in the store, the coconut milk fragrance brought me right back to Vietnam. Chè is my fav dessert, so I am so happy that this store make chè in a pretty authentic way to make me feel less homesick.
This exact Bambu in Milbrae is my fav. I think they make the dessert better than the other location near Stonestown Galleria in SF. My go-to order is number 10 Bambu Special or something like that. The chewy pandan jelly and the red water chestnut jelly in number 10 is the best combo 🤤🤤”
“Our family enjoys eating at Naked Fish in Millbrae. Their sushi rolls and bento boxes are always delicious. There are many options to choose from between the menu and their daily specials. Their food is presented well and amply portioned. Their service is consistently good and the servers are attentive. Whether we eat a late lunch or dinner with family and friends, we always leave this place full and content. My only criticism of this place is the location. Because the gym is directly above it, more specifically, the weight room, you can hear the weights dropping on the floor on certain occasions and it’s distracting. However, because we enjoy eating here more than anything else, we tolerate the noise on the few instances it’s happened. There is ample parking around, both on the street and in the parking lot next to it.Overall, I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood.”
“It's Taco Bell, so you pretty much know what the food is like already. I placed an online order and hit the Drive-Thru for the pickup. Everything was exactly as I ordered it, down to the number and variety of hot sauces. However, the website/app says they'll start making the order when I arrive yet the order was already waiting for me. Normally this isn't a bad thing, but in this case the food was almost cold. Lukewarm at best. Next time I'll skip the app and order when I get there.”
“Can I just say, it was awesome to go here with my family, growing up my parents would always take me and my brother to eat and it has been a staple in my life, San Mateo sort of sucks cause they took it out, but thank goodness Millbrae and mountain view still has it”
“Big shout-out to David, their Art-ista! I was craving a pretty latte and had asked if they can make a thick, creamy one. He enthusiastically said yes and really took the time to fulfill my order. It was perfect!
The coffee beans itself were quite weak but 5 stars for David & his coworker!”
“Great sushi 😋😋🤤🤤. Feel like mom and pa places in Japan. Cozy feel!! Really like and enjoy.”
“Great consistently tasty food. Good selection of both seafood and non seafood items. My family loves celebrating birthdays here.”

“Millbrae's best kept secret-is MQs Restaurant! A mix of NEW American Cuisine with a flair for healthy affordable ingredients. Our go to place when headed to San Francisco International Airport or Bart station . A fusion of flavors that is uncommon and hard to find at this price point in Burningame, Millbrae or San Bruno. We will be back again !”

“I’m surprised Millbrae doesn’t have many handcrafted coffee shops aside from the big corporate chains and boba tea spots, so I’m really glad one finally opened here. Their coffee has a great aroma and a well-balanced flavor. I especially enjoyed their specialty espresso drinks — the Bumble Bee (orange juice with an espresso shot) was refreshing and unique, and the Havana Cappuccino was equally impressive. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood.”
“I visited this location on New Year’s Eve randomly as I was in the area for work. I always order a Carmel ribbon crunch but for a long time not many locations make a good drink. I was truly amazed at how perfectly this location made the frappe. Thank you so much to the staff! 10/10”
“I came in to order breakfast using the gift cards, and Brandon was incredibly kind , patient, and respectful even though I didn't spend any money out of pocket. He brought out my order with a smile and made sure the requested sauces were included in the bag. It was a wonderful way to start the week, and truly appreciate the great customer service at Chick-fil-A.”
