“We were looking for a new, decent sushi place between SFO and home and this one popped up. Checked the menu and decided to give them a try. We were happy with everything we tried, especially enjoyed the oysters on the half shell and the Bachamichi roll. We'll be back. Prices were reasonable and sushi was fresh 😋”
“Highly recommend coming for the Dungeness crab without having to venture out to San Francisco
We tried the peppercorn crab. The batter was perfect, it was white (meaning the oil is new). Again, I don’t like using my fingers to eat, but PPQ makes it easy. They give you a bib, sanitizing wipes, and napkins to keep your fingers clean. We will be back to try the salted egg and curry options 😊
We also enjoyed their beef papaya salad prior to the crab. It was refreshing and delicious. In addition, the garlic noodles are highly recommended too. To finish it off, we ordered a bowl of white jasmine rice to eat with the crab seasoning.
There is also a parking lot, but look for parking further away if none is available instead of circling around. It’s a pleasant walk around the nice neighborhood.”
“This is a classic Hong Kong style cafe or “tea restaurant” (茶餐廳), a relative unique style of Chinese cuisine invented in Hong Kong by fusing western cafe and Chinese style cooking. If you ever want to find such an eatery in the San Francisco Bay Area without flying 8000 miles to Hong Kong, this is your place. The food, and especially the service are absolutely top notch. Perhaps even more precious is the community vibe the restaurant staff manage to create. From the moment you step into the restaurant to the moment you leave you will meet authentically courteous, efficient and caring service from Selena, Sunny, and others. The combination of a family restaurant and high quality cooking plus pleasant ambience will likely make this restaurant a highly desirable gathering place going forward for local residents, as well as visitors from afar, for the unique east-meet-west Hong Kong tea restaurant experience. A remarkable place for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.”

“Locally owned old-school diner. Prompt service, lovely staff, perfect food. Not fancy, but who wants that when you want an American diner. Background music (radio), kitchen sounds, and patrons make a nice sound space where nothing is too glaring.”

“Food was really good. I went in expecting typical Mediterranean wraps kind of food. But they really took it to the next level. Had a beef kabob wrap that was terrific. The wrap was moist and a bit chewy like a great burrito. The meat was very juicy and soft. Even the veggies inside the wrap were notably yummy. Hummus was fantastic too. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Great food and service. My wife said it was the best spaghetti she ever had.”

“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.”
“There is no shortage of Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay Area. This is the only one to which I have paid three visits in one month.
The spanakopita has sesame seeds on it. This is new and delightful for me.
And oh my goodness, do you get a lot of food for your price point.
I couldn’t even wait to take photos for my review, I just started eating this thing as soon as I got home.”
“I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff and waiters were very helpful and welcoming. Initially, I wasn’t willing to really enter the place since it kind of looked as if it was a basement on the side of the road. However, as I entered the place, I noticed that it had a surprisingly cozy atmosphere. The place was an International Pizza Challenge winner twice, in 2017 and 2018.
However, we did not order pizza and decided to order pasta instead. Their portion sizes were quite large compared to some other restaurants. I noticed two things though: the selections of their beers were limited, and some seating areas were uncomfortably warm. This doesn’t affect my review, however.
The pasta was amazing overall. It was quite the hearty meal we were looking for after a long day. Overall, I think it is a great place to eat.”
“We walked in a little after 6 without realizing they had already closed — total facepalm moment. The owner was counting the register and clearly wrapping up for the night, and we felt awful. But instead of turning us away, he kindly took our order and made us feel completely welcome.
You could tell he was ready to go home, yet he still treated us with so much warmth and patience. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. We’ll definitely be back — and next time, we promise to check the hours first.”
“A California staple and better alternative than Buckstars. Coffee just as good with slightly better prices.
This little shop in Millbrae is quaint, with the typical modern coffee shop look and vibe.
So, if you're looking for a quick coffee or similar from a more established chain that isn't green and white, definitely stop in.”
“I have been here in person once to dine in and I have ordered from here to have it delivered to me many many times. The interior of this place is pretty compact, but seating is available. At times of the day they can be extremely busy, but they are pretty quick and your orders comes out in a reasonable time where it is hot and fresh. Just like any other L&L location they offer combination plates, variety of musubi, chicken plates, beef plates, pork dishes, seafood items, bowls for a snack, saimin (noodle soup), sides, drinks, sweets and much more to choose from. Everything here is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained, professional and understanding where all my experience here was a satisfying and issue free one. They accept both cash and cards for the payment. You have the option to dine in, place an order over the phone for pick up, place a mobile order for pick up, order for to go in person or have it delivered to you through a food delivery app. I highly recommend this place to all Hawaiian food enthusiasts, if you are in need of a quick bite, to anyone willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.”
“The ube rice yogurt was extraordinarily blissful especially when you add some crystal boba as an add on, which has a pineapple flavor which gives a nice contrast in the your taste buds spectrum
That's why this is a hidden jewel in this hidden gem yogurt cafe”
“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free). The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁”
“This was my first time being here at Hubei Restaurant. I was kind of struggling to find a Chinese Restaurant with great reviews and I stumbled upon this place with my parents that I persuaded them to try this place out. We've ordered a lot in this place to see if it was worth coming back, and to say the least it was worth it for my first time being here. It reminded me of a childhood memory I had in the Philippines and it was the closest thing I ever had that hits home-run for me. I guaranteed I will come back here if I ever feel like craving for Chinese cuisine that reminds me of the childhood days. The ambiance over there was very nice and their service is absolutely superb, worth it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
PS: I really got emotional being there. 🥹👍💯”

“The appetizer course alone was worth the visit — miso-marinated grilled fish, crispy fried river shrimp, and inari sushi filled with hijiki rice. We also added sashimi and it was excellent too. Delicate, but with real depth of flavor. After that you choose from three mains; I went with the duck served over a soba-based salad, which was perfectly summery — cool, light, and refreshing. I am originally from Japan, and this genuinely felt like sitting in a ryotei back home. This was lunch, so I’m curious to come back for dinner next time!”

“Got a skinny hand-pulled noodle, a wide hand-pulled noodle, and a beef roll. The noodles were well made with great texture, and the soup/sauce had good flavor. Even ordering the highest spice level wasn't overly hot.
The beef roll was just okay. I'd come back!
A staff member was making hand-pulled noodles in the kitchen area so check it out.”
“Charming Chinese restaurant in Millbrae that focuses on the Sichuan cuisine. The Mapo tofu was delicious, and the cold spicy noodles were superb. Beef noodle soup was surprisingly good as well. Fast and efficient service. Interior is small, so not ideal for large parties. Parking can be challenging, as the free parking lot fills up fast and is shared with several other local businesses.”
“The BBQ pork wonton soup was a lot bigger than expected; they give you twice the amount of noodles than a regular place. The broth was not that good, but the wontons were big and meaty. The BBQ pork had more fat than I would prefer and comes in a separate plate. Service is typical (crude) Chinese. Not bad.”

“Lovely dinner experience at Han Sang. I noticed it got quite busy with a line, so try to get a reservation in ahead of time. The food also came out super fast given how big the portions were and how long it takes to prepare some of these dishes. We were really impressed and hungry, and definitely ate too fast because we had a lot of leftovers.
My favorite was the jokbal bossam. They gave a plethora of banchan and sauces for the bossam. The galbjjim came out piping hot. Definitely try to eat this while fresh and hot. I noticed the stone pot dehydrates this dish over time. The samgyetang also tasted very good, healthy, hearty, and ginseng forward. Yukhwe was tasty, and I’m not usually the type to order beef tartare. The leek pancake was okay, but could pass on.”

“Authentic korean food! Very happy to find this restaurant as I visit SFO for work quite often. Nothing fancy but the food here tastes just like homemade mom's food. The portion was very generous with a variety of side dishes. The staffs were very kind, attentive and courteous. I can't wait for my next visit already.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Binka Bites Bakery is an absolute gem! The ube cupcake was incredible—perfectly moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The beautiful purple color made it even more fun to enjoy. I paired it with their chai tea, which was warm, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The combination was delicious!
The employee at the register was amazing, kind & patient!”
“I have not yet made a visit in person yet, but have ordered from here and got it delivered via DoorDash multiple times. I usually order from here when I am craving for a quality refreshing drink, since the ingredients they use here are premium and authentic. I believe everything here is made or order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. I highly recommend this place to all boba enthusiasts, if you need a refreshing drink, to anyone willing to try something new, make a visit here when it is hot outside or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will make a visit in person one day and to continue ordering from here.”

“Love this place. I have been coming here for over 20 years. the salt and pepper chicken wings/pork chops are awesome. the spicy seafood with fresh hand pull noodles are the best. The family also love the scrambled eggs and shrimp. Everything is really good, the only thing I don't like from them is the fried salt and pepper fish. That could use some work, but I would recommend everything else. The service can be a little slower when they are busy with take out orders. It's kinda of typical hole in the wall chinese restaurant. Its is dated, so don't expect anything fancy. The other thing that always keeps me coming back is the kimchi!! It's fresh made in house. It's not sour or to vinegary. They don't sell it though, it's just a free appetizer. Oh which reminds me, the kimchi fried rice is excellent as well.”
“The owner was very nice and the food are all tasty and very good, good portioning for all the orders. For sure will go back feels like being in Thailand already. See ewe TOm kha Papaya salad with salted crab duck friend rice Fried chicken Sticky rice duck curry . Everyting was tasty and satisfying 🤤🤤🤤”
“Tried Grapeholic and it’s a nice change from typical boba spots. Their grape drinks are super refreshing with real fruit flavor, and the cheese foam pairs surprisingly well.
The presentation is great and the vibe is modern, but prices are a bit high and drinks can be on the sweeter side.
Overall, worth trying if you want something different. 4/5 👍”
“We were disappointed with our previous favorite Sichuan restaurant on our second visit there. We found this Michelin recommended restaurant as a replacement. We were very impressed. The quality was on par with the best restaurants in Asia, which is a rarity in the US. The beautifully photographed menu made item selection easy. The veggies even turned out better than the picture in the menu. They truly deserve all those awards on their wall. We will make it our regular chinese restaurant from now on.
My wife's干煸肥肠was the best she had ever had.”
“Food is really good. And also good value. It’s usually not busy but tonight between the walk in to go orders, third party app and walk ins they were slammed. A good neighborhood spot that can also do banquet style cuisine. I recommend this place especially when the weather turns and you need hot food that tastes great!”
“My family and relatives came to this restaurant. Because we were a big group, we made a RSVP ahead of time and glad we did as this place gets packed quick! The dim sum was great, and the staff was friendly and responsive. I wouldn't mind coming back here in the future.”

“Found this little gem while on a layover at SFO and the food was amazing! I had the Curry Sliced Beef Ramen and it was probably the best I’ve had. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. I only gave the service 2 stars because it is an online order and someone just deeply it off at the table. Would definitely recommend though.”
“Ate up the food so fast, I forgot the pictures! We had the best beef noodle soup here. They make their noodles by hand and their 10-hr soup base is perfection. Not too oily and not overly spicy. They let you tailor it all.
We had the chicken katsu noodle soup which was highly loved by the kids. We also had. The unagi as well as the chicken and mushroom clay pot. So good and flavorful.
Apps - the chicken wings, the cucumber salad - were excellent. The Pure Grape drink and tea were perfect add-ons.
To top it all off, all the games, books and air hockey and foosball tables were so perfect for my elementary, middle school and high school students!
Definitely will be back to try the lamb cumin noodles. They have their own parking lot too!”
“Chicken Pho You is a small hole in the wall restaurant right along Broadway in Millbrae. Super convenient parking, and it was quite busy during the morning hours!
They have a few breakfast sets to choose from, and they're all very reasonably priced. I ended up getting the satay beef noodle, a classic Cantonese dish. There was a good amount of beef, and it delivered flavor wise!”
“Couldn’t ask for more when it comes to airport food. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap which came out to just under $20 after tax and tip - yes that is expensive but we’re at the airport. The woman who took my order was friendly and asked if I wanted a cup of water while I waited. In about 5 minutes my food was ready and it was probably the best chicken wrap I’ve had. The chicken was hot and flavorful and the lettuce was cool and refreshing.”
“Food, service and prices were OK, you can relax with friends over lunch or dinner and not feel like you needed to pay and get out right after meal. There's always tables available (because the place is large) and no need to take a number and wait. Atmosphere is top notch with high ceiling and feel like you step in a 5 star place.”

“So nostalgic coming back to t4 as it was childhood memory for people that went to the near by schools like mills or BIS, their food and drinks are still very good.
Ordered snack combo and came back to get their tofu snack, freshly fried soft tofu so it’s piping hot and good with some sauces
Not to mention the employee here are very nice, the lady working the cashier kept offering if there’s anything else I needed when I eat in the store but had to bring some leftover to go with a Togo bag, even opening the bag and tried to bag it for me. That’s beyond boba shop level customer service 😆”
“My favorite dessert spot ever. You will have to see the amount of points in my reward account to understand my love for this store. Whenever I walked in the store, the coconut milk fragrance brought me right back to Vietnam. Chè is my fav dessert, so I am so happy that this store make chè in a pretty authentic way to make me feel less homesick.
This exact Bambu in Milbrae is my fav. I think they make the dessert better than the other location near Stonestown Galleria in SF. My go-to order is number 10 Bambu Special or something like that. The chewy pandan jelly and the red water chestnut jelly in number 10 is the best combo 🤤🤤”
“Passed inspection. No remedial action required at this time.
Some of the best Mexican food this side of the border. Nice selection of fresh salsas and crema expertly dispensed by good hombres. Really enjoyed the smothered quesachimichirito and the beeria dogs off the secret menu. So tasty and cleans you out better than any laxative. Mas autentico.”

“Honestly, this place deserves more than 5 stars, I’d give it 10 if I could. I had their burger and it’s hands down the best in the area. The truff it out sauce is next level 🔥 and everything was just so good. Plus it’s fully halal. Definitely my new go-to spot.”
“I visited this location on New Year’s Eve randomly as I was in the area for work. I always order a Carmel ribbon crunch but for a long time not many locations make a good drink. I was truly amazed at how perfectly this location made the frappe. Thank you so much to the staff! 10/10”
“At first it looks hard to park until you get there, it’s easy. After entering the structure everyone wants to make a right turn but go straight and you will find plenty of parking and easier to park. It’s a short walk to Panda from there.
Easy way out as well there are signs everywhere”
