“The Galley Cafe is a local old school diner that's been around for longer than I have! It's been family-owned since 1957 and it's only open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 This is a gem of a classic breakfast & lunch spot that has about 30 tables as well as counter seating that serves solid & no frills food. I love the breakfast burrito with pico de gallo. Expect a waiting list on the weekends, but it always hits the spot. It's right next to the marina and the service is prompt and friendly. Friendly regulars and neighborhood vibes! I love the Galley Cafe!“
“this place is a low-key and hidden gem. I've always gotten their sandwiches (great on sourdough or the "rustic roll," which is their pizza dough) but recently got a pizza for my 2 year old and DAMN it was good! bubbly chewy crust, simple quality toppings, tasty ranch on the side, grab a bottle of vino and chill on the patio... perfect place to grab a bite with kids, no snooty vibes, and a variety of options. we have definitely become regulars here.“
“I always liked this cafe for their breakfast and lunch menu. So I thought I'd take my granddaughter here for a breakfast, she really likes this place too. She ordered the pancake special with a side of hash browns and extra egg. So much food she took some home. I had the the veggie skillet, so delicious, with a side of one pancake. Oh my goodness, that one pancake was eight dollars! The tab for our breakfast for was over $70 and damm that a lot. I know prices have gone up, but it's gonna be a while before I go back.“
“Ordered an Americano/ 3 shot and a Lox on Jalepeno Cheese Bagel. Awesome. Was going to take it to go but because I was there early, the tables alongside the street seemed inviting. So I enjoyed my morning breakfast soaking up some rays. My Galley started to get busy around 9a“
“We arrived at 830 on a friday, there were only 2 tables of couples, by 930 it was packed with people waiting outside. The food was amazing, honestly the freshest and most delicious conchas I've had in a long time! The food was amazing. Every bite was filled with flavor and balanced perfectly. The bandit iced latte was so good, it was juat sweet enough. I love that the menu isnt overwhelming with a ton of options, it has the right amount of options. The cafe was very clean and vibrant. I will say the music was a bit loud for me, loved what was playing but the volume was just a little too high for my liking. Im honestly in love with this place and cant wait to try more things on the menu!“
“My name is Tyler & I'm with a local fencing company down the street. This place has been my GO TO SPOT FOR YEARS. I've been going here since I can remember, I go at least once a week to fill my craving of a ham n scram burrito. I even have their stickers all over my work truck. It's my Sunday routine You get the point about ham n scram, they are my favorite breakfast burrito spot around. Not only do they makes great burritos, they also have a great staff. Everyone is super friendly and always making sure everyone is getting there food. They are a small shop but they do crank out burritos on the fly. You can always call in which is super nice , so you don't have to wait incase there is a line. Average time for a burrito is roughly 10min , which is in my option is top notch services considering how many people they are serving& they are cooking everything FRESH! You can taste how fresh everything is, never had a day when I got a bad burrito. That's why I love this place, I know what quality I'm getting every time I order. If you like ham , then go give this place a try because you won't be disappointed. They have been my favorite spot & will always be favorite spot as long as they keep providing those killer burritos HAM N SCRAM ON WESTMINSTER BLVD“
“Our waitress was Sandra, she was very friendly, attentive, explained some dishes from the menu, and took our order in a timely manner. Our food was very delicious and warm when it got to our table, food took about 10-15 min to arrive, which I find ok because it was busy, but my shake did take longer than expected. Overall, I will be coming back. Service, atmosphere, and food were very good.“
“We’ve been coming to Side Street Cafe for 20+ years, and it never disappoints. It’s fun to see how many regulars they have. We got the stuffed French toast and an egg scramble with toast, and it was as good as always. Staff is super friendly! It’s always hopping busy, so plan your time accordingly!Parking: There’s a small parking lot right in front and more free parking at the city park just across the street“
“Breakfast Republic is my favorite breakfast place in Orange County! The café de olla and protein lover scrambler is my go to order. The only downside is that they’re always super busy on weekend afternoons, I recommend going earlier in the day than later (the parking lot is small so it gets tricky finding a spot).“
“Upbeat and loud, Snooze, A.M. Eatery is the perfect place to refuel to face a new day. It’s also a great place to catch up with family and friends, get to know strangers while seated at the counter, and enjoy some really good food and drink! The staff are friendly and efficient and are ready with an answer to any of your questions about the menu. The menu is just right, with classic breakfast fare as well as clever twists on familiar items you just have to try!“

“Super adorable, old school, cash only diner. After a quick search for a breakfast spot, my husband solely chose Cafe Cup because it had a kids menu-what a great & concerned dad. But unbeknownst to him, any menu can be a kids menu- LOL. Since I was driving & we were a family of 6, I decided to just go with his decision. Cafe Cup is about 10 minutes away from the Cruise Ship Terminal-so a quick stop for some hearty breakfast after our cruise vacation. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant, we parked by the neighborhood- a quick 2 minute walk. We stopped on a Tuesday morning, approximately 9 AM, and we were seated right away. Kids menu entrees were $6; very well priced and sufficient food! Our party ordered the huevos rancheros, an ABC omelette and their French toast (with cream cheese). Food was good- very filling. There were also lots of salsas to choose from. Coffee was overflowing and never did we see the bottom of our mug. They had regular drip coffee and French vanilla drip-loved the options. They even offered us coffee to go! Amazing. Best of all, I enjoyed the service from this restaurant. . Great service, super attentive and quick. If we are ever in the area, we will def stop by! Thank you Cafe Cup!“
“Went out of the way to try this place because of the reviews, but ended up not being to my liking. There was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning in the parking lot. For a group of 5, we were seated right away and got our order taken as soon as we were ready. I love their decor and the sayings they had by the bathroom.Chai latte 5/5: was good. There is nothing to complain about.Churro French toast 2/5: It had a lot of cinnamon, so it was very sweet with the rest of the ingredients.Servings were a decent amount for each dish, and for the sandwiches, the avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce looked so fresh. I would love to try their crunchy French toast.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“One of my best places to have breakfast, very good rather excellent service every time I visit the place the food is very good. And the waiters are very good people, thank you for providing good service to all of us who arrive wanting to be served with a good smile and kindness ?️?️?️?️❤️❤️❤️“
“We ordered takeouts of stewed pork and bbq pork sandwich. The stewed pork’s flavor was okay, but the lean part of the pork was not too tough. The bbq pork sandwich was very good and authentic. So this place averages a 3.5 star.Parking: Spaces are tight here.“
“This is hands down the best place to brunch in Irvine. I had the Shrimp Ricotta & Frittata and it was perfect. they serve a cinnamon coffee that is just wonderful. I highly recommend this Breakfast Republic. By the way, there usually is a wait so be prepared.“
“this is my first time coming here. my friend wanted to eat breakfast before our field trip because we didn't have to go to zero period hurray! she asked if i wanted to eat breakfast but i lowkey didn't but i'm a pushover so i said yes. then she asked breakfast burritos okay? And i thought about sabrosada because that's the only breakfast burrito place i knew and i was like sure. But then she said glee's donuts and burgers and i have never had this place, and i have never supported a donut shop where i didn't know the owner but i still said yes because i should try new things. we met up outside at the parking lot around 7:20am but she was there since 7:00am so i felt bad. then we went in and ordered. She wasn't that hungry and neither was i so we ordered a chicken breakfast burrito and just split it. The food came out relatively quick and we just talked about stuff i don't even remember while we waited. We got the food and she told me to put salsa on. I was scared it was spicy and she assured me it wasn't but it lowkey was but i wasn't going to tell her i thought it was spicy because that is embarrassing so i sucked it up. overall, the burrito was really good and creamy. i loved the chicken and cheese wow. but i lowkey hated the eggs. they tasted like those liquid eggs that come in the carton and i also hate egg yolks. but the salsa helped me forget about the taste of the egg yolks. i ran out of the salsa towards the end, and i was a bit lazy to grab more salsa, so i just ate around the egg yolks towards the end. now, i realize that i could've just ordered egg whites for an extra fee. next time i come back i would probably do that. overall, a great place for breakfast burritos!!! my friend and i just talked about random stuff the entire time but i found out she is poorphobic wow. then we just talked and pushed our luck until it was 7:50am. the bus left at 8:00am and then we finally left. she wanted to pick me up from the church to go to the campus where it was closer but i assured her i would make it in time. i walked over and she was waiting for me with another girl and a boy and i thought the guy was my friend but as i walked closer i realized it was my opp. i turned the other way and walked off without them which must've looked awkward af but i played it off as me going to the trash can wow. we walked to the bus and i found my actual guy friend and then we went to occ. we listened to a real estate agent guy and an engineering dude and wow what a great way to skip school. on the bus ride, i sat by myself and listened to my audiobook but all i could think about was the burrito! AMAZING! 4.5 stars!!!“
“In town visiting for the Disney marathon and this place is super popular but also really good food! Service is great, a bit understaffed tho so wait times can be a bit longer but overall the wait isn’t too bad. Good came out hot and delicious!“
“I stopped by here by chance looking for some coffee and found an amazing bagel place!Very cute cafe. Plenty of seating. There's tables and chairs and even a sofa seating area. There's a great selection of bagels. Garlic, jalapenos, cheese, rainbow, cinnamon, everything bagel, etc. Heavenly Veggies on Garlic bagel: 5/5It was absolutely delicious! The bagel was flavorful and toasted to perfection. They did not skimp on the cream cheese at all. Fresh veggies and creamy avocado. Sooooo good. There's also teas, juices and coffee and boba!I highly recommend this place!“
“Food was great, service was immediate and top notch. Food came out quick. Went outside to have some coffee and water afterwards and enjoy the sun and felt very comfortable despite the speeding cars and traffic zooming by. Great patio space. Recommend for lunchtime with co workers and friends when rushed.“
“This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.“
