“Gillian & Gina run a beautiful business. My favorite thing to do is to make a reservation and bring friends to get the traditional Afternoon Tea Service. They also offer a more casual walk-up menu. This menu includes assorted Tea Sandwiches, Scones served with Clotted Cream and Preserves, Crumpets served with Meyer Lemon Curd, Assorted Sweets and a large variety of Loose-Leaf Teas. Everything is delicious. Also this past year they have been generously hosting Pop Ups for local makers. They also have lots of treasures for sale. Lovey's is a wonderful place.”

“Fun surfer punk dive bar with cheap drinks and outdoor patio, complete with surfboards. Free popcorn and occasional handcrafted wood oven Italian pizza for sale outside. Surprisingly, many big names have played at this tiny beach venue, like The Mummies & Supersuckers! This place continues to create new memories for me each time!”

“My first time ordering door dash for this restaurant and it did not disappoint!! I ordered 6 dishes total and it was only a little over $100 subtotal, wow, can't get this amount of food anywhere else in the bay area!! All the dishes came piping hot (thanks to the door dash driver) and each container was filled to the brim! I felt like this $100 was well spent, I'm so glad I found this little gem. You guys just earned another loyal returning customers :) please stay in business so I don't have to cook as much!”

“I didn’t expect the hot pot place in Pacifica was good but wow~~~
We were looking for some hot food after an hour watching whales by the beach.
We found this place on Google maps and gave it a try.
$40 per person for AYCE hot pot and grill which is great price in Bay Area.
We ordered about 40 items most were good and fresh.
The lady waitress was very friendly giving us suggestions. We definitely will come back!”

“What I appreciate most about this cozy local gem is the delicious honest food, staff and ambiance. It’s just an honest to goodness great place that’s been here for decades and I truly respect that, in an era where most restaurants get too fancy with chaotic music and weird fusion menus for the sake of being “cool.” But not here. This husband and wife team deserve all the patronage, they are hardworking and genuinely friendly folks. Upon entering, the wife came out from back, greeted us right away and offered us to pick any table. We ordered some beer, Tom Yum Koong and Pad Thai. Fairly basic items but there was something special about each of them. The beer was ICE cold and also came with a frosty mug. I don’t know why most restaurants/bars don’t offer the frosty mug anymore but it’s a detail that shows an extra level of thoughtfulness for their customers. Next, the Tom Yum Koong soup, which came out quickly. Note: a medium level heat is still fairly tolerable. The highlight of this soup was a surprising slight sweetness, we couldn’t place where from but it was pleasant and overall delicious. Lastly, the well plated shrimp Pad Thai with generous sauce had excellent depth of flavor. We were so impressed with a tasty affordable dinner, which came out to less than $60. I also appreciated the little tamarind candy that came with the bill. Parking is easy as there’s a small lot in front and street parking. There are so many small details to love at Pacifica Thai. We look forward to returning soon!”

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. We will come back because it was such a nice treat. One of those places that makes me love living in California!”

“Revisited this spot & still so good. Tried the vegan iced Thai tea for the first time and it was delicious!! The alternative is coconut milk fyi. My go to is the pork ban mi but most items I’ve had are good. A perf little spot after spending the day in Pacifica surf or hiking. Ps. Love that they are always blasting the jams in there!

“Sizable menu with many options, including vegetarian options and some less common items, such as the potato and bean burrito (get it with extra fresh veggies, cheese, and salsas - it is much better than it sounds!) Almost everything is very customizable, but the posted menu in the restaurant does not list all of the options, so check the online menu and know what to ask for. Meal plates (chile relleno, enchilada, etc.) are ample and great for a solid meal after a day at the beach or hiking. Ask for the spicy salsa! They are currently expanding for more indoor seating, but many customers get their items to go. Ample parking in the Manor Plaza lot, and very conveniently located to Hwy 1 (Manor exit) if you are visiting Pacifica.”

“This place is wonderful! I've tried almost everything on the menu, standout items are xiaolongbao, fresh cucumber salad, zha-jiang noodles, and spicy wontons. All of the vegetable dishes are good, but the spicy green beans are my favorite. I live in the neighborhood so I go every week, one of the best places in linda mar.”

“You have to try it. The place is great, the service is very good but the food is amazingly good. Healthy oriental food and self cooking on a spicy-based soup hot pot (or not spicy) with unlimited entrees and appetizers. For dessert, tey the mango sherbet. The Pacifica view right off highway 1 is amazing 👏”

“Dark and bright. Loudly peaceful. Old but hip. The best Old Fashioned in town. Surf Lounge is the only of its kind in Pacifica, and one of the few dive bars that celebrates its dive barness. No bands, no pool. Just a bar.

“Here on vacation, saw the reviews of this place, and so glad we stopped by to try. It's take out only, owned and operated by a nice couple. Family of 4 was only $58. The food was hot, tasty, and enough of a portion size to fill you up. We will definately come back next time we are in town.”

“Our first time here. Wanted to try a different Japanese restaurant vs our usual. Parking was convenient. They have a small parking lot on the back. We ordered to share: caterpillar sushi roll, chicken karage ( not twice fried)and vegetable tempura. (Thicker battered). But not bad. We each ordered: Tonkatsu Don, bento box salmon and chicken teriyaki , bento box tonkatsu and sesame chicken chicken udon, and nabeyaki udon. Drinks: Sapporo beer. Overall, food was good and they came super fast. While eating, I noticed they had a lot of orders Togo. Quite busy with take outs. We definitely will come back.”

“One of the few fast food options with real vegetables available and all at a reasonable price. The new app brings some much appreciated discounts for repeat customers. This particular location can be fairly generous with portions but once in a while you will get one of the smaller servers who also thinks smaller portions of food is acceptable but I would disagree. Service is fast and almost never out of any of the main dishes or available mostly fresh in a few minutes of ordering. Thank you to all staff for providing good service at one of the few options for health concerned people.”

“These sisters treat us like family when we come by for our weekend coffee fix! Not only are they incredibly kind, they're also very conscious of the ingredients they use in their foods. I recommend trying anything with their house granola; it's got whole cashews and pumpkin seeds that add a great crunch to their organic acai bowls. Oh! And their baba ganoush is the best in town ?
They're far enough from the beach that you can escape the hustle and bustle of the weekend crowd, but still within walking distance.”

“They might close before 9? Walked in Friday night at 7:20pm and most of the lights were out (but their door was open). Asked if they were open and a older gentleman gestured for us to sit. (Update: Tried to go at 7:40pm another night and they were already shut down tighter than a drum. It's like they're allergic to money.)
Food was good but service was odd. Like if you didn't grow up with a surly, emotionally distant Asian mom like I did, you may feel uncomfortable. For instance, the first thing out of her mouth was not "welcome" or simply "hi," but "no more buffet." Not sure if they meant "today" or "*ever*," but I didn't ask...?
I think the woman was the chef and not only the waitress because she walked between the kitchen and the fridge (just out in the dining room) a lot as well as served us, while the man mostly just sat there.
Garlic chicken, mo hinga (fish soup), and pork curry were great. The mo hinga was not fishy and was topped with delicious fried lentils that were like a crunchier version of tempura flakes. The pork curry included hunks of soft, gelatinous tendon (not fat but you might get confused) and came with rice. The rice noodles were a bit thin and on the cusp of becoming too soft.
Tea leaf salad was good too but not as good as at Rangoon Ruby. You have to mix it a lot or the clumps of tea will be too salty.
I feel a little snubbed that another reviewer got homemade chili sauce but we got a bottle of Huy Fong sriracha, lol.
Portions and prices are reasonable. Two of us polished off 4 dishes.
Shan noodles are apparently the dish to get at Burmese, according to Eater San Francisco, but I didn't notice they had it until later.
The menu has no prices and the bill apparently includes tax and doesn't charge any B.S. fees. We tipped well and paid cash because I couldn't trust Maps saying they take card and communication was a bit difficult.”

“This small cafe is a local family owned and operated business. During busy days, you can tell they keep providing the best service possible. Nancy is kind and friendly, usually the only waittress. It's a nice small place and they do rearrange a couple of tables for bigger parties. We've tried various plates from here, but the following 2 are top favorites (there was a 3rd but forgot to take a picture). The following is the Maya Burger ( added bacon and egg) highly recommended and is available after 11 AM. The other is a banana French toast that was superior in taste compared to many other places in the Bay Area. Lastly, the Dollar size pancakes are ones that you should try. During all of our visits, here have always been a 5 out of 5 for the food and service, even during busy hours, and we understand that is extremely difficult for a small business to do every day. Yes, they open every day, and the shopping center has various places to check out after a nice meal.”
