“This is my go to sushi spot. Everyone I've taken here "about 10" also thinks its incredible. This place can step up against the highest sushi joints around BUT the price is very modest. A ton of options for everyone in the whole family. Truly a hidden gem in Pacifica.“
“Found the restaurant accidentally when shopping next door at Oceana Market. Never noticed before that there is a Japanese restaurant as the entrance is somehow hidden. But then I spontaneously ate there and I must say: the food and the service people were both excellent. Just the interior was a little bit old fashioned. But that was for me not important as it was clean. I definitely will eat there again. Prize was alright.“
“Incredible flavors and a lovely, cozy dining experience. We felt so well taken care of by Tricia and our sushi chef and they made celebrating our anniversary really memorable. The unique flavor combinations and quality of the fish were so good. Some of our favorites from the oki: the ora king salmon, the sea bream, the otoro and the sashimi salad with the shiso flowers. The chef explained each course and paced our meal so we never felt rushed. The sake selection is awesome as well with really unique and different flavors like the takacho "regal hawk" that would be great on its own for sipping and the very plummy ume suppai. Next time I might pick the chisai and try more supplements. We left feeling comfortably full and satisfied.“
“Definitely get here early or be prepare to wait! The service is A+! I got the omakase and it was very well put together. A reasonable price for a 10 piece, there were a few scales here and there, and the miso soup was slightly too sweet but very worth the price!“

Not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for; which, in this case, is the quality and experience. Reservations are recommended since there are only 12 to 16 seats - walk in without a reservation at your own risk. Will be visiting again at some point.“
