I stuck to French cuisine. Started with soup a l'onion. Delicious! A lot of gruyere and the right amount of onions, bread and soup. Next were the escargots in olive oil with a lot of garlic! Yum! Main course was the mussels! Those had to be the largest, most succulent mussels I have ever had! They came with fries, but you really didn't need them. I brought them home. Last was the Napoleon or mille feuille. Creamy! There were three layers: one with just the cream, second with strawberries, and the last with nuts. Wow! Never had one like that!The proprietor was very kind. He brought us our drinks and was very kind when we spoke to him in French. Wait staff was very courteous and we felt no pressure to eat and leave. To show how good this place was, we ended up sitting next to a well known French actor. My friend recognized him first. They say that if people of the same nationality as the restaurant dine there, it's usually a compliment to the restaurant and a testament of the food. “We have been coming to Gabi James for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. It is one of our favorite places to eat and we always recommend it to anyone in the area. Every employee we have encountered is personable and puts in so much effort to make customers feel welcome. The food always comes out so fast, the quality of the food is above so many other restaurants and the preparation is always consistent and delicious. Our most recent visit was especially great as we were celebrating my husband's birthday and had actually started our night at a different restaurant thinking we would try something new. We however lasted about 20 minutes at the other restaurant and realized how sub par the quality of their food, drinks and service was and instantly regretted not going to Gabi James as we usually would. Luckily we saw that it was early enough that we could still get reservations at Gabi James and decided to head there instead so we could have the dining experience we wanted for my husbands birthday and it was perfect as expected. We ordered a few chef recommendations including the spicy southern fried chicken burger, peach salad (my friend), spaghetti and a few others. The burger is great and the bun is slightly crispy which is exactly I am looking for in a gourmet burger. The sauce is well balanced with a slight tanginess. I wish the side fried potatoes could be a little more though.I also ordered an Americano. Interestingly they served you a shot of espresso and let yourself add hot water to your like. “This was a very good experience for my partner na do. We are not French food experts but I will say the food was quite authentic and would recommend their fish dishes the most. I had salmon over cream sauce, accompanied by squash with tomatoes and snow peas. Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great and service was among the kindest I can recall. I will recommend this place to friends and family. Any comments on parking are beyond the control of this restaurant. It’s in busy location but you know that going in. The onion soup was also very good but one serving was easy shared with two people.“

I also enjoyed their pine milk bread and blossom butter that was served with a mushroom broth.There were three main savory dishes.The Red Bream & Scallop "Farci", was my least favorite dish of the menu, it was cooked perfectly, and the sauce looked good, but somehow it all tasted completely flavorless, which was really disappointing.The A5 Wagyu with a ramp stuffed Morel mushroom was amazing, but the main highlight of the meal for me was the Liberty Farm's Duck "Rouennaise". It was delicious and the presentation was really unique.One of the desserts was a cherry sorbet with "dip n dots" which was one of the most flavorful sorbets that i've ever had, and a perfect way to end the meal. This was such a fun and unique experience but it was probably the most expensive 2 star i’ve been to and I don’t think it lived up to the price tag compared to other restaurants i’ve dined at with the same Michelin rating.“

We started off with the hummus board, which was amazing and chef Alex told us he makes the hummus from scratch. For the main dish, I ordered the burger which was perfectly sized especially for a multi course meal. Lastly, Alex recommended the gelato for dessert. There are three different flavors, and each has their own distinct taste and texture, and are delicious! Highly recommend the "We Are All Mad Here" cocktail to sip on while enjoying Chef Alex's food. “This is a really charming local breakfast and lunch spot. The inside is very cute with lots of pink accents. We came for breakfast and the choice of pastries and breakfast dishes was excellent. I had waffles with Nutella and strawberries which was different from my usual breakfast choice. It was so good I would definitely recommend to anyone. All the staff was moving quickly and brought the food to our table. They also had an outside seating area that was enclosed with a heater because of the cool weather the weekend we were there. It is a little difficult to find as it is located in a plaza setting. Definitely worth the stop here!“

The restaurant, the food and the service is very reminiscent of eating at a local cafe in Paris. You know, you walk around, look around and finally pick a place for dinner, any place, because so many of the restaurants in Paris are good. This is how I felt of my first experience at Le Petit Chez Mimi.Many who dined tonight (Friday night) seemed to be regulars and locals. The service staff dressed casually (blue jeans) and the service was good. Whereas Pasjoli, the wait staff are uniformed and professionally trained - what you expect from a Michelin recognized establishment. With Le Petit Chez Mimi, its simply good food, not particularly IG worthy in its presentation.Surprisingly, the prices were higher than I expected. I guess I was expecting a simpler, quaint French cafe to be more reasonably priced. But I guess this is to be expected for French cuisine.Now for my food review:-Escargot. Not bad. I've had better. I felt it needed salt and more of that greenish garlicky sauce (pesto-like.) Please excuse my lack of knowledge of the correct ingredients.-Onion Soup. Excellent! One of the best French Onion soups in town. The portion size was perfect. Sometimes, the portions are so big, you dont have room for the remaining courses, but theirs was perfect. Nice gooey cheese!-Entrées: the 3 of us had 2 different steaks and one pork chop entrée. Again, all were tasty and the steaks were perfectly cooked, but the pork chop was overcooked. This place isn't Michelin-worthy because of the simple presentation (not much presentation at all.)-Dessert: The Tarte Tatin was excellent. It was like warm apple pie with fresh cold whip creme. It was perfectly spiced, slightly tart, and not overly sweet. Someone posted on Yelp! that this was an "award winning" dessert. Hmm, it maybe?Parking: Plenty of parking. No valet service. Self park at the business park adjacent to the restaurant. Very convenient.Wheelchair accessibility: The manager (owner Mimi?) has mobility requirements (wheelchair) so the place is fully accessible.“
