“I cannot recommend this venue enough!! I had the honor of being apart of a wedding there and not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous but the team behind the scenes are outstanding! Ellie gave such a great tour of the venue and knew all of the answers to our questions and Sam the venue manager was there at the event the whole time making sure the day went flawlessly. They all went above and beyond our expectations. Great venue and an even better team that handled everything to perfection! I will be recommending this venue to everyone who is getting married!“

Crystal Hill Vineyard Winery • $$

“Stopped in last weekend with my dog to relax and enjoy the wines here at Crystal Hill Winery. We were greeted by Scott the owner who served us personally as I chose a comfy glider chair. There was a sweeping view from this hillside location with vineyards and horse corrals down below. I chose a flight of reds. All were delicious and the Whiskey Cabernet was outstanding! I had to try a flatbread pizza and it was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend treating yourself to a visit to Crystal Hill Winery. I will definitely be going back. ~ Anne“

chuparosa VINEYARDS Winery •

“I came with my family and two children, and it was a small, intimate space with beautiful plants and a lovely view. There was a surprising number of wines to sample, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Cab Franc, the Malbec, and both ports were amazingly good. We brought our own food and snacks. I can't recommend more.“

“A fantastic place to spend your time, easy going and friendly people feel like you're at the Promise land, You feel like their syrah is made for you. Point blank the best syrah I've had. A wine you could drink barefoot sitting on the hood of a Dodge or with the sweet bells of mercy drifting through the evening trees.“

Woof 'n Rose Winery Winery • $$

“One of our favorite winery experiences so far and we've been to many! Gorgeous views, incredibly hospitable service from Marilyn, her husband and pups! We brought our own food from Ramona family naturals cafe , a delicious apple chicken salad sandwich. Reasonable priced, award winning wines. The Grenache was my favorite, super light bodied fragrant red. Followed by the Cab Franc. Cannot wait to come in November to try the new releases!“

Poppaea Vineyard and Winery Winery •
25643 Old Julian Hwy, Ramona

“This was a great experience. The owners, a father/son team from England, are really a pleasure to talk to, and they have a lot of love for these Italian wines. It was really interesting to learn about the relationship between Primitivo, Zinfandel, and Tribidrag.Seating is indoor/outdoor, and the indoor section was cooled to 80, which was a welcome relief on a hot day. There's also a proper restroom, which is nice. Most wineries in the area have a porta-potty, which may or may not be important to some folks. It's worth noting that most of the wines on the tasting menu had noticeable tannins. I enjoyed it, but my wife would have liked some relief - so you may want to bring some cheese if you think you'd like some relief as well.Great experience, great price, and great facility.“

Barrel 1 Winery Wineries • $$
1007 Magnolia Ave, Ramona

“Atmosphere: Great view, extremely friendly staff. Our few visits were always with Audrey. We have received freebies like olives on occasion, or glasses of wine when we are there to pickup. A great vibe is half the reason I visit.Price: Middle of the road, just slightly on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Small family shop, probably barely breaks even, things cost a lot. Expect $30 - $50 for a bottle. Some of the best olives I have ever had as I do not normally like olives, but again, costly at $15 (worth it to me). More TLC than most.Wine: Quality is good (its not superb, but I am not paying $100 a bottle either). Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to the area, this is one of the Ramona wineries I prefer.“

Rashelica Winery & Art Garden Wineries • $$
17948 CA-67, Ramona

“What I think is happening with all the 5 star reviews for this winery is that they're all based on the Art and atmosphere. Which are incredible and I definitely encourage everyone to check this winery out for that sole purpose. However, one must also leave a review in regards to service and the wine itself. Upon finding the random corner for a tasting, the guy said it was over and the two remaining bottles on the counter was what was left. I asked if I could purchase a new bottle and he said he would open it up and let us buy a glass. We finally sat down to enjoy our wine and I refrained from spitting it up on the ground. It was horrible! I would give this place 3 stars if it weren't for the unique surprise and surroundings. See this winery, yes. Drink the wine, if you're used to box wine from your youth I suppose.“
