The meat was so tender and it was very flavorful.The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and had a great ambience. “The food here is delicious. I ordered a Mac and Cheese with Brisket and Fried Pickles. The reason for the 4/5 stars is the price to ratio of food. For those two Items it came out to 29 dollars, 10 for Mac +8 for brisket+ 10 for Friedpickles. I was rather disappointed in the portion mac and cheese, if i had to guess I would say it was 1 1/2 cups of delicious mac and cheese, which felt rather small for 18 dollars of mac and cheese with brisket.”

“This is the best pizza spot I've found in riverside , and I've been here for a decade now . We usually get the pizza pepperoni which is delicious. Very hot because comes out fresh . I recommend letting it cool off a couple minutes or the cheese and topping will slide right off , and you don't wanna burn your tongue / taste buds cause then you can't enjoy it :) . Recently took my younger son , he got the personal size and I got a meatball sub which the bread was perfectly toasted and it was very good .”

“Been here a couple times now. Most recently for their event that they hosted to fundraise for Mary S Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I’ve had a good time each time and the fundraiser was great. My favorite is their Staycation. Brewery itself is a bit small but they do provide some outside seating as well. Thanks to the staff that has always been nice to us and our dog.”

“Tried this place out because it’s a lot closer than Somi Somi in Ontario Mills. Their taiyaki menu is nice however the actual taiyaki is smaller than Somi Somi. Also, there isn’t as much filling per batter ratio as Somi Somi, but tastes good. Somi Somi is 5 larger taiyaki for $8.95 while this place is 5 smaller ones for $10.95.The cookies and cream soft serve is good. Costs $4.99 for a cup. The girl helping us was amazing and gave us a good serving. She was kind and made small talk while preparing our order.All in all, I would return here if in the area. But if I had to choose between these smaller ones for a higher price vs. Somi Somi, I would opt for Somi Somi.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options and toppings”

I found Lindmair Bakery on Yelp and decided to take a chance. I emailed them about my request and Dennis was very responsive. I called him to follow up on my cake requests and he immediately knew which order I was. I was surprised that I didn't need to send over a deposit. I let him know a friend was going to pick up the cake that day and it wasn't a problem. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious. I'm almost sad that this bakery isn't near me because I would have used them for future events, e.g. birthdays, retirements, going aways. “My wife and I visited Vicky's after church today. This was one of her parent's favorite places. She wanted Mexican food and decided on the carne asada plate. I chose the pork chops, but got the breakfast as it was a lot cheaper. We were both very pleased with our orders. She was able to make herself four tacos and loved her rice and beans. My pork chops had great flavor. I loved my hash browns as well. My two eggs and biscuits and gravy were also very good. An added bonus was at the drinks fountain. They had grape soda. When do you ever see grape soda? I enjoyed the change...mmmm! The service was outstanding and everyone in the place was cheery. Great atmosphere.”

“One of the best bakeries in Riverside in my opinion. So far I've tried their famous starbread and filled malassadas. The starbread comes out piping hot, gooey, and filled with this sweet custard. The malassadas are these fried dough balls filled with different flavored custards, and are personally my favorite. We always order the starbread in bulk and warm it up in the air fryer. It's also pretty affordable. Service is super nice and the wait isn't too long. It's a small bakery with modern interior, and the smell of fresh bread just hits you when you open the door. A must-get when you're in Riverside!”

Ambiance was normal restaurant vibes (not fancy or intimate). Chips and salsa is fantastic. Chips are light and crispy, they were perfect. Table side guac was great, it's a little pricy but felt like it was worth it. Carne asada plate was amazing, steak was tender and the flavor was so good. Best steak I've had at a Mexican restaurant in a long time. The chimichurri sauce was on point. Pork Chili Verde was great, the FIL loved it. It was tender and flavorful. Beans and rice were good probably above average. This place is on the higher side of an everyday Mexican restaurant but well worth it. Definitely check it out.”

“Tons of fun! It has been a while since I've been to The Gourmet Detective. I came here with a large group for my cousin's birthday party. It really was lots of fun. We all dressed up with the these and attended the dinner. It was dinner and show. Basically, a murder mystery while you enjoyed your meal. It was super fun. The actors were all really great. They were super into character and that made it really fun. I don't remember the food being all that. You are paying for the overall experience. So the show is the main attraction. The food is just so-so. Overall it was a great experience. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. I would recommend for a group activity or celebration.”

The mushrooms were all my wife I can't stand mushrooms but I tried one for the hell of it and they were made well. The bread on the pastrami sandwich was legit just crunchy enough but soft to the bite. Next time I will ask for extra pickles however. The dining room is clean and well kept and smells of fresh clean oil from the dryers which is nice. “First time here. I had the MINI BABA COMBO. I've been to many Nashville chicken restaurants and this one was ok. Not bad. But was probably last on all I've been to. I ordered hot level and it was not hot at all. The side I chose was macaroni and cheese, and it was good. Service was good. Baba' is located at the food lab in Riverside. So there are many other places to choose from as well. It's pretty loud inside but there's a lot of outside seating as well that is not loud.”

“Romanos has the best Italian food in the area. Their manicotti and chicken Parmesan is just perfect. My only complaint is with their take out. When we have food delivered from them about half the time they forget something in the order. The salad, the bread, once even the meatballs on our spaghetti and meatballs. It makes us pause sometimes before ordering because the omissions are so random and frequent, and disappointing when ordering is a treat after a long day. Still, the food is top notch and I highly recommend, just be aware of the likelihood of an omission on a delivery order.”

We were not crazy about the California beach.They have a regular menu and all you can eat special. “Came here to celebrate my birthday. They seated us right away with reservations. Food was amazing. Real authentic Mexican, food, and great portions. My husband ask for a side of tortillas. Took them a long time to get them, but man came by to see how we were doing g and told them they were taking too long for the tortillas. And he went to the back right away and came out with them. And checked on us ever so after. Thank you! Me, my husband and daughter loved this place. Will come here again.”

We ordered the fried rice, walnut shrimp, chicken and mushroom, and Monark Steak and that fed three of us well. All plates were delicioius, but my favorite was the Monark Steak. The meat was so tender and it was very flavorful.The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and had a great ambience. Probably the 3rd best shredded beef tacos in the IE that I have found. Chile Verde burrito was great too...real pork Chile Verde cooked in a pot. Great flavors and prices are reasonable. We got the Arcmuffin and the Steak Sando. It was so good. The place was so packed which definitely says something about the food. Only thing I would say is even though they may be busy they can’t forget safety. One of the staff spilled the latte and she was so quick to wipe it with a napkin but didn’t get it all. I seen that she was busy so I cleaned it up. Other than that it was perfect. Love the environment, great music. Need more people like Westin.”

“It has been a few years since I last had a meal here. The ambiance and service is excellent still, based on a visit last weekend. We were seated right away without a reservation. The table service was top notch from everyone who waited on us. I ordered a taco salad with no meat. I was expecting a bigger salad with more black beans for protein. What I received was great quality, but was on the small side with very few black beans. Had I known that, I would have ponied up for some chicken to be added. Overall, it was a nice meal and experience. A solid four stars.”

“We just stopped in and were helped by the most charming Young gentleman. We ordered two churros, and without exaggeration they were some of the best churros we’ve ever had. The strawberry filling was the perfect amount of sweetness, and neither of the churros were oily/greasy just a beautiful Crunch and fluffy inside. Will be back tomorrow for pizza night! I went to the drive thru initially but there intercom system was having issues so they asked me to order inside and I'm so happy I did. Such a great find for the woodcrest area.”
