“We came here after a long urban hike with ravenous appetites. It was late noon but cafe was moderately full. Soon we were seated, welcomed with house special cauliflower & lavender soups. It was delicious and moth watering. I ordered potatoe and sage torte along with lemon & blueberry tart. Trust me ! We all had sumptuous lunch here. I will highly recommend this place who love vegan foods. I am sure ,here you will enjoy foods too.“
“I ordered doordash from here on this rainy evening. First time having food from here and it was definitely worth trying. I read many reviews before making a decision and I agree, the food here is very DELICIOUS, SCRUMPTIOUS AND INFECTIOUS... I want more ?. Everything tasted fresh from the Louise salad to the dungeness crab sandwhich and soup. I would order from here again. This place based on food, quality and proportions is a 10/10.“
“As a Londoner, I don’t often get good Mexican food on a regular basis, so I might not be the best person to judge Mexican food. But the shrimp taco (Taco tropical) is honestly the best taco I’ve ever had! It was bursting with flavour, soft melting shrimp and the jicama tortilla added such a twist on the flavour. Every dish really impressed me with a really refreshing cocktail on the side.Really cool vibe in the restaurant and definitely worth trying out“
“My first time to visit this restaurant. It reminded me of Japan. The atmosphere is also similar to Japanese style! Wooo! We ordered "Toro Ikura Uni Don" even though we were almost full. lol But It was amazing! We never regretted!❤️Love it!❤️“
“If you want the happy hour menu, you have to sit at the bar or window, all of which are high top chairs and not accessible for disabled people. It’a a dumb policy and they should consider more accessible seating for those who cannot sit in high top chairs. Great food though - the beef empenada, beet gazpacho, and ensalada were my favorites.“
“Lovely restaurant! The ambience is amazing. Every dish we got was beautifully presented, delicious and unusual. I don't know why it was not more packed but pleasantly quiet. Great place for a great meal. A nice occasion or just a yummy dinner.“
“They have good beer options, cocktail selections and shots. The atmosphere is really amazing with a couple of couches and tables. Wall decoration, coloring and lightings are beautiful. Bar seating is also available.Parking: Street parking is difficult at evening and nights due to busy area. Street parking is paid until 6:00 pm.“
“I can’t believe I never reviewed this restaurant. We eat here regularly at the restaurant and for takeout. The food is delicious for adults and for children. My son really loves the salmon teriyaki and the veggie sushi; I love their unique appetizers / tapas and their sushi. Reliable and one of the best restaurants in Castro and Noe.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“My friend recommended I check this place out. What a wonderful experience. It is a very cozy homey space great wine, lasagna to die for, small bites and salad were excellent too and great company. Owners are super friendly and fun to chat with. Had to bring my husband there. He loved it as well. And a 20% discount happy hour is cherry on top.“
“Best damn brewery in SF. This place had a cozy neighborhood feel while being friendly and welcoming to guests from all over. The brewer has decades of experience and has pioneered a true onsite microbrewery atmosphere with a dynamic tap list and simple yet tasty food menu. Perfect for after work drinks or grabbing a 4 pack of freshly made cans to go!“
“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“
“Everything was delicious! The ribeye was excellent, especially with the chimichurri sauce that came with. The empanadas were nice too with a very lemony dipping sauce. The highlight were the churros that came with a dulce de leche and chocolate sauce. Incredible! We've been dreaming about the churros for weeks now. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Great for birthday dinners or date nights. It was a little loud but i was seated next to a large birthday table. The place has low lighting. Great service!“
“This is THE best and authentic Greek food in CA. The staff, food and atmosphere is worth the wait and travel. Marcos and Rafeal have been part of my experience over the last two trips to CA for business and every time I have brought someone new and for business. You will NOT be disappointed.“
“I normally order the wings, warm Spinach salad, new style potatoes, chicken pallard, and the beans and rice. This visit was a short visit and I was alone and discovered the arroz con pollo. That's going to be my new favorite. It has plenty of chicken, peppers, olives and comes with beans as well!! Yaaasss!!! The white sangria on this evening quenched my thirst.“
“My friend and I stumbled upon Grape in the Fog at the end of an incredible California road trip. The ambiance is amazing, wonderful wine and delicious food. We shared the meatballs and the hummus plate and both were fabulous. We finished with the waffle with strawberries and vanilla whip cream and a trio of cheesecakes (lime, coconut and pineapple). I highly recommend stopping in to this cozy wine bar.“
“One of my favorite places. 1st, it has the best and friendliest service of anywhere in town! The food never disappoints. I like to go earlier in the evening before it gets too crowded and noisy. I don’t like to eat a meal with a friend when it’s too loud to have a conversation. Would recommend this place for great service and food!“
“Do you like a place that's locally owned, well this is the place. The owner is there working with the staff making sure everyone is having a great time. Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.“
“This place has great atmosphere, authentic Spanish tapas, average wine and cold beer ? (if you want the honest truth). I recommended the squid in ink, tortilla de patata, jamón ibérico, croquetas, chorizo, mussels, gazpacho, and mushrooms. Honestly you can’t really go wrong with food. If you’re coming on the weekend with more than two people, make a reservation.“
“I was in this restaurant with my parents, we really liked everything, the atmosphere was super, the music was pleasant and not loud. We got there in the evening and there were few people and the service was fast. The waiter was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered salad and quesadilla, and my parents Pescado Al Ajillo and gazpacho, everything was served hot and was really delicious. The drinks were also tasty. Everything about that evening was fantastic, the food, the wine, the service, also the interior created a very nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.“
“There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines.“
“Great food, with excellent use of seasoning and authentic recipes. The atmosphere was low lighting and felt intimate with the music to cover conversation. The booth had plenty of room for 4 people. The menu had a good selection and all ingredients were very fresh. Steak was a bit chewy, but flavor was excellent. Service was a bit slow at times, with the waiter missing for 5 min or so when we were ready to order. The busser was fantastic. We will definitely be back for more!“
“I passed this place many times over the years but never found the moment to explore it. Today was just the right moment, as I was looking for a place where I could eat by myself without feeling completely out of place. Etcetera really has a good vibe. I like the ceiling decor which gives u a bit of a lost traveller feeling that found his port for a brief moment. The live music was spot on, a cool jazz band playing. Not too loud just right to get you into the mood. Their wine selection is very extensive and covers all corners of the globe. I like their menu, a good combination of small bites, appetizers and of course their flat breads are done right. Crisp thin crust great for sharing or indulging by yourself. Well doneI'll be back“
“Randomly found this spot last year but was quite difficult to walk in without reservation so reservations are highly recommended...but why you ask? Well put simply great paella ? made as close to homemade as I have seen in Bay area...they are in the pricey side but we'll put together and most importantly very tasty and crispy enough. Tried the Iberian paella which is their most popular and I can see why..balanced with chicken and pork but also seafood. There is one salad option which is good along with many traditional tapas and good selecion of wines and Spanish beers. Inside feels like a club house with rich materials and warm lighting and full back wall bar. There is bar seating which is nice for walk ins but with limited seating. Parking is ample on street and is free. Service is limited and thin when place is full and so don't go if you are in a time pinch...but rather a night out...place is on small side inside so large groups should call ahead for accommodations. Whether legal or not Service charges are automatically added to tab at about 20% so be prepared in case you are not accustomed yo this charge. Overall good place to try for food and ambiance in Belmont.Parking: Plenty for size of this restaurantKid-friendliness: Not recommended for kids...perhaps older as it will test their patience“
“I love this restaurant, The staff are extremely friendly, it's worker's owned, prices are very reasonable especially relative to rising costs at other restaurants. I come here very often, order the pitcher of sangria and the rabbit stew (so so good). Good for dates, group hangs, solo dinners. They give free bread and salsa brava once you sit down. One of my favorite restaurants in SF.“
“DASH has been a favorite of ours since before they moved from behind the theater. The food is consistently good, the service is good, and while it's pricier than some of the lower end sushi places it's still a good deal for what you get. My wife picked DASH for my surprise 40th birthday party and they accommodated 8 of us easily.“
“The veggie miso ramen has changed recipes and is not the same to the previous ownership. Devastated that I didn’t know the last time I had it would have been my last forever. I hope the new ownership does well here. But my search for my go to ramen spot sadly is beginning after tonight’s meal.Broth wasn’t hot enough. The entire dish tasted over salted. Positives: the new set up felt refreshing. The service was polite and welcoming.“
“A wide selection of somewhat non traditional Peruvian food here.We got the ceviche and the rotisserie chicken since that’s what seemed to be the most famous here. The ceviche limon, the namesake dish, was served in a large bowl with such a wide range of seafood - it was interesting to have both calamari and fried calamari on the same plate. I liked the flavors, the seafood all tasted great, it just didn’t resemble authentic ceviche or other ceviche I’ve had before. The rotisserie chicken with two sides was a really healthy order, which was great. The chicken was somewhat unexpectedly a bit dry, you could tell that you had to use all of the mustard sauce that was served with it for the chicken. The yuca fries had an awesome texture though, perfectly crispy.I don’t think I’d recommend the rotisserie chicken though, I think going with other menu items (seafood) is probably a tastier bet.“
“We were in town for Valentine's Day so I made a reservation here. I knew it would be busy, which it was, but the service was still great. We were taken care of quickly, our waters were always full (which is important to me), the wine was great and the food was even better. All the wait staff were friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pulpo if you are in the area!“
“They offer a great escaveche mixto sampler that is always a must try. The combination paella plater , chanchito de la abla and the empanada sampler are more than enough to fill your palette with joy. Don't forget about dessert. The tres Leches, chocolate lava cake and cup coffee will send you over the top. Great place and superb service .Kid-friendliness: They cater to the young customers.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room to accommodate.“
“Turkish restaurant that's expanded to general Middle Eastern bangers and a nice fusion with some US classics. Go ahead and order something that doesn't sound familiar. And it's not even anywhere near full a lot of the time!Only ick is the steep prices even by SF “
“I am not a wine person but their white wine flight allows you to try three different types, then order another glass of your favorite. The fig and goat cheese flatbread was the best airport dish I've ever eaten. For $14 (other near by restaurants offered flatbreads $21+), vino Volo offers the best dining experience at SFO.“
“Went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after it was recommended by a friend for having good dimsum. We thought there would be a wait but there were a few open tables so we were seated immediately. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. Go for the food, not the ambiance. The menu isn't as extensive than a dimsum restaurant, but we appreciated the variety. Our favorites: * String beans - crisp and flavorful!* passion fruit aloe green tea - refreshing! * pork belly with charcoal buns - my son who loves Peking duck said that he would rather get these now. Not sure if the charcoal buns are supposed to taste different than normal bao - they tasted the same to us. * braised beef noodle soup with wontons - delicious shrimp wontons and a very beefy broth. * pan fried soup dumplings - tasty filling and lots of soup to slurp up. Next time we would skip: * cucumbers - too vinegary. Seems like they may have accidentally poured too much vinegar in our serving. At least that's my hope. * beef kimcheese rice - more tomatoey than kimchee flavored. * XLB trio - couldn't really tasty the truffle flavor. I wish we could order just the crab ones. The others weren't that amazing.“
“Actual Spanish cold cuts and cheese! Even the bread is excellent, even if it’s sourdough rather than exact Spanish bread. Such a delight after a month of missing European food. Moreover, the place itself is delightful and the staff are lovely and friendly.“
“Mauricio was our server and he was EXTREMELY attentive ! The food was amazing and the service was just as good ! We went to celebrate my brothers birthday and they sang happy birthday to him and made him feel so special ! Will definitely be returning “
“When I go to a Mediterranean restaurant. I always have to try the mezza. That's what I really wanna eat then. It's delicious. We ordered the mezza, the grilled chicken, mensef, baklava and berry lemonade they're all delicious. The service is fast. And the servers are friendly. I do think they should play more Arab and middle eastern music. I didn't like the whole Tame Impala sounding music they played.“
