“Very tasty sandwich! It was a little hard to eat just because of the sunny side up egg and lack of toothpick, but oh so delicious and filling! I was pleasantly surprised that they were open after more than a year of waiting! The two ladies helped us with recommendations and described each menu item and made it so easy to order. For their soft opening they are offering 25% off but also don't have all their ingredients nor take-out containers. We tried the turkey sandwich with avocado, greens, and an egg, and papaya fruit juice (which was actually a smoothie!). Both are so refreshing and a nice change from the other restaurants in the Lomas Santa Fe Plaza. We will be back!“

“Vegetariana Review:We've visited Kiin well in the doble digits. My wife and I have been to a variety of Thai restaurants in San Diego yet everytime we go back to Kiin we truly wonder why we even try any other place.I usually test a place by the quality of the fried rice. Many places have an excuse or fried rice. Very few specialize in it, so it's a great dish to test the overall quality of a place. Theirs is second to none I've had in San Diego so far.It is a very good place to go with mixed diets (vegan, omnivore, vegetarian). The menu isn't a huge selection, but at the same time I've never had a bad fish in this place. The portions are of good size, service has always been good, decorations are great. This however isn't a quiet place (specially at night) as there are several other dinners up there and there is music playing for all. This doesn't mean you can't have a conversation here, but keep in mind if you're looking for a more romantic place.“

“wow wow wow! I came here yesterday and it will now be my go-to place when I am in Mira Mesa! Talk about express, I was nervous that I wasn't going to make an appointment in the afternoon, but chose to eat lunch here anyways. I was in and out within 45 minutes. You sign in outside and wait for someone to bring you to your table. Right when you sit down, the menus are there. Within a few minutes, the waiter came asking for our orders. I urgently scrolled through ordered pho and egg rolls. A cart came with our waters and drinks. about 5 minutes after that our eggs rolls came. About 5 minutes after that, all our orders came and there was 4 of us. By the time we finished eating, we had only been there for about 30-40 minutes. We would of stayed longer but felt like we needed to leave as they wanted to clear our table for the next group. If you are short on time and want a delicious meal, come here! I have never had such fast service, the food was hot and delicious, drinks were continuously getting filled. Normally, start to finish would be about 1.5 hrs to 2hrs, we were out and full in 45 minutes. The price alone is another reason to come here, way cheaper than other places i have gone to. Ample seating and they have it down with seating arrangements. I can't wait to come back!“

“Do you like to eat intestines? This is the go to place for some of the best mouthwatering tasty intestines you will ever find! They specialize in intestines and offer 4 different types: small, large, abomasum and tripe. They do have other cuts of meats as well and they are all very tasteful. But if you love intestines this is the usual go to. Besides bbq they do offer other selection of food: tofu soups, rice dishes, jjajjamyun, and appetizersThey are not AYCE. They have different order option and the quality and quantity is very great so!Plz do keep in mind the meat quality is that greater than any AYCE which is why price is a little on the higher end but very well worth it.Every bbq order comes with corn cheese, kimchi stew, side dishes and salad. They do offer a great selection of dipping sauces for your meat don't be afraid to ask. I recommend vinegar on the side for your intestines.Service is always great and fast. For example, we wanted the orange chicken but with the sauce on the side. They couldn’t do it or maybe they didn’t understand us but that’s okay. They could really improve by greeting you with a smile and thanking you as you walk out. A friendly demeanor is what I meant. “I celebrated my birthday with 20 friends on the patio of El Borrego today and it was such a wonderful experience! I'm so grateful to Rodnia, the owner, and her staff, for being so attentive and handling it all so well. They sectioned off half of the outdoor patio and set it up with beautiful decor, as well as umbrellas for shade and a big fan as it was 80 degrees out. At the bar, guests could choose from house made Horchata, Agua de Jamaica, beer and Sangria. I heard so many compliments about the venue and especially on the food! We served a self-serve buffet of Cochinita Pibil and Lamb Barbacoa with tortillas, guacamole and garnishes, plus quesadillas made with squash blossoms and rajas that they brought out hot as they were ready. The whole afternoon felt easy and relaxed and I got to enjoy spending time with friends rather than being stressed about hosting. The mellow music they played set a nice atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. This restaurant is such a neighborhood gem! They Taste as good as They Look. Grilled in a very tasty sauce with grilled Onions and served with Steamed Jasmine Rice and A Delicious Asian Cucumber Salad.I wanted a extra serving of that salad. All in All the food was very satisfying and I enjoyed it very much.I will come back to try more of the menu without a doubt. And by the way I took home half of these plates for Dinner.Leftovers Never Tasted So Good. “The food: 1. The mì quảng ếch was alright, the flavors were not as bold or captivating as I expected, I added a good amount of chili to it. The frog meat was very, very tender to my liking. 2. My friend ordered the bún mắm heo quay and this was way better than what I ordered tbh. Pork belly was very crispy, the fermented fish sauce was bold and rich with umami and acidity as I expected. The pickled carrots and daikon that came with the noodles added some pleasant sour taste as well. The service: Average, the waitress came to take our order and she asked us if we needed anything else. Nothing extraordinary. The ambiance: The music could be a little louder, I could clearly hear other people's voices in the restaurant. It was pretty empty on an early Saturday evening though. They told me that my order would be done in 10 minutes and it was probably done even faster. “So I definitely agree that this is an amazing Thai place. I honestly wished we had this in Orlando. So my yellow curry was perfect, a hint of sweetness with spicy, and you can taste the subtle flavors. When reading some reviews I really felt like some patrons may be more used to the American Thai + not fully understand the balance of thai cuisine with vegetables + chicken. Also, I will say that the carrots were cooked to perfection but I wish the potatoes had been left cooking a little bit longer. They weren't hard but they were not soft enough, in my opinion. The staff were wonderful! Parking is on the street or tons of parking garages in the area. I definitely will want to visit this Thai place every time I get to San Diego! One of my fav. “Near my work so I thought I would try it. Not a big food selection, but I was happy enough with it. I placed my order online for pickup so I wouldn't have to wait in line. It was ready and hot by the time I got there, so their timing is accurate. It's a small place, but has a decent amount of seats. I got their lunch special with half a sammich and soup. I got the Chicken Pesto sammich and Farmhouse Vegetable soup. Between the two, the soup was my favorite. It was packed with flavor and they don't skimp on any of the ingredients. I could've eaten an entire pint of that and I wished I had gotten more. The sammich was good too, but it didn't blow me away. It definitely could've used more pesto all around or a stronger pesto flavor. Not sure if they make the pesto themselves, but possibly tweaking the recipe would help. Price is pretty good for what you get. I would love to come back and try their other soups once the temperature cools back down in a bit.“

The staff is very attentive, bringing ice water and menus immediately.Ordered dac biet pho for lunch. It was a good and hearty meal, they gave us a lot of meat (rare steak, brisket, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatball) and veggies. I like their broth and felt very full with the portion given us. Prices for food are very fair for the amount they give you. We didn't try anything else, but I'd come back to have their pho again if I'm in the craving. Thank you for great, attentive service.“

“It's 24/7, letting anybody come in at any time to get coffee and food and provide a great study/workspace for early birds or night owls. As someone who commutes, it's a great place for me to take a break and do some writing.Parking: It depends the time of day you go. While I had no problem finding nearby parking, I also went after 10PM when most of the businesses had already closed.“

“Dinner was delicious and service was great. It helped to dine here for an early dinner. Better parking and less people! The salt & pepper wings appetizer was delicious. Mongolian beef was very tender and full of flavor. The hot pot we ordered had shrimp, scallops and chicken and vegetables in brown sauce (can't remember the exact name of the dish). Very, very good dish!“

“It has been 28 years since my 1st visit back to San Diego California from Canada! This was the only restaurant brand I knew and could think of, so we chose to come here from our hotel the Harbor Island Hilton across town. It was worth the 35-minute wait for a Saturday night. Dominique our waiter was good too.“

“Pick up Order:Staff was friendly upon pick-up. Staff also read the special instructions note and granted my request asking for pepper that I could add to my Hong Kong Noodles.Best Asian fusion place I've been to. Loved the notable Southeast Asian notes with popular East Asian Dishes. Will have to try more of the menu to find more Asian influences!Food: As a Lao gal, I loved everything!!Hong Kong Style Noodles: Broth was so I good I had to take a second sip to make sure I tasted it right. The Cha Shu Pork was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like that style of pork because of the texture I usually find in ramen, but this Cha Shu Pork was SO SO SO flavorful and cooked to perfection that it just melted in my mouth. It must've been basted over flame because the flavor was present throughout the pieces (4) and it has a yummy sweet, charred umami flavor.Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons: ACTUALLY spicy and were yummy and filling. New kind of wrap for me (thin and silky) but still delicious.Satay Chicken: I smelled the satay chicken the moment I got back in my car. I had to fight myself from digging into the bottom of the bag and taking a bite right then and there. They wrapped it in foil so it was still warm and flavorful when I got home.Beer: Learning to like beer, but the TOM YUM BEER American Wheat Beer was so refreshing and helped cut through the spices so I could continue to enjoy my meal (it actually says it on the back! I didn't see until after my meal lol). Cool to see the other Thai beers, will be trying them next time!Overall 11/10! Will be going back and trying the rest of the menu.Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian dishes have a green "VH" marked at the bottom of the description. SEA food tends to have a good variety of Vegetarian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible right off the sidewalk and is a one story shop with no stairs or barriers. Swing door must be pulled open and is the standard door size. Tables and chairs can be moved to be accessible to wheelchair users.“
