“Phenomenal food as always. Zef is the experience that keeps giving. Bbq, breakfast, dessert, any cuisine, it doesn't matter. Zef can do it all and with flair. Worth the line, and worth your time.”
“This sushi place is clean, has a very nice staff, and really great quality sushi and rolls. I ordered to go the other day and it was super fast. Spicy tuna is super spicy!”
“Loved the food and service! We had lomo saltado, papa a la Huancaina, causa and Chicha! It was delicious! I’m so glad there’s a Peruvian Restaurant in Simi Valley!”

“Exceptional service. Outstanding meal. Intimate atmosphere that's not too casual but refined, though parking nearby is limited. If I'm town I would dine here again.”

“were here on simi valley and looking for a place to get lunch. I call up bomb hoagie asking them a few questions and one was in they had a restroom. She immediately said yes and I mentioned i was disabled. We got the directions and got a phone call and it was bomb hoagie letting me know that there's a certain area for handicapped access and told me the way. Most places wouldn't even think twice about calling back to let me know the access area. I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness. Thank you for the delicious food too! A++++”
“This has been about the fouth time that we visited this restaurant and it gets better every time. The service is fast, friendly, and always there for you to make sure you have a great dining experience. The food is always cooked well with a generous portion. They provide beef, rice, and pork noodle soup. They have rice dishes, specials, and egg noodle soup. With a diverse selection of desserts and beverages. Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup, is defined by its aromatic broth, tender meat, rice noodles, and fresh herbs. The broth is typically a rich, flavorful stock made from beef or chicken bones, infused with spices like cinnamon, star anise, and cloves, and simmered for hours. Banh pho, the flat rice noodles, are a key component, along with various cuts of meat (beef, chicken, or tofu), and fresh garnishes like bean sprouts, basil, and lime. The overall quality of pho is often judged by the depth and clarity of the broth, the tenderness of the meat, and the freshness of the herbs and accompaniments. There is a great flavor profile that has a subtle sweetness, savory notes from the broth, and aromatic spices. The texture of the meat is tender with soft noodles and a balance of textures from the fresh herbs and toppings. I recommend this restaurant, and I will be a returning customer.”
“Great place to grab a beer! A wide selection of independent craft beers. They do carry the usual domestic selection as well. Depending on what night you go. You can find Trivia, and Karaoke. Definitely a local spot. Everyone is friendly!! Definitely if you enjoy beer a great place to check out.”
“The food and selections were really yummy. We walked here for dinner quite a ways so I was so hungry I forgot to take photographs of the food, but the portions were excellent. The best part about this place is the staff. There were three people working and they were incredibly friendly, but not phony friendly.”
“It was a truly delightful experience, having lunch at Olivios Trattoria. It’s a cozy little Italian spot tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you—the food here rivals high-end Italian restaurants.
Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.
The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.
Highly recommended for a casual yet memorable Italian dinner.”

“I had the same server as two years and ago and she’s still awesome. I wish I could remember her name :) I go every time I come to visit from Maryland. The food always hits the spot. I just miss the tree stumps. Other than that there’s 3 things to look forward to in Simi Valley-good friends, Smiley face hill and Jerry’s Coffee Shop. :)”
“I come here 3+ times a week and it never disappoints. The food is consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and authentic every single visit. The staff always makes me feel welcome and they remember my usual order, which says a lot about how much they care about their customers. The service is fast, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This place has become my go-to spot and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for great Mexican food, this is the place!”
“Sitting outside is nice. Drinks are good. Beer is good. The food is good but not great. The portion size has decreased especially on the happy hour menu which is usually shared. When its slow service is good. When its busier service is very slow and hard to get the servers attention because they do not have enough servers on. They think they are saving money this way, but people end up leaving or not coming back because of the slow service.”
“Ian and Kassandra were fantastic during our last visit! My husband prefers all the sauces on the side—in individual cups—which can be a bit of an inconvenience, but they were incredibly kind and patient. Once we got home, we were able to split our bowls with our toddler and make ours spicy! They took the time to prepare a delicious bowl exactly the we like it. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and great service!”
“Our furbabies love the "pup meals" at In-n-Out. We went yesterday for our furbabies 12th birthday and had a HUGE order for their birthday party with family. Mia helped us out at the drive-thru. She saw our furbabies in the car and we told her it was their birthday and told her what we were doing. She was so amazing!! She was patient with us and our order. As we drove thru to pick up our food, she came to the window and said "hi, it’s me again" and handed us 1 of our bags, which was the food for the furbabies. Inside the bag, was a hand written note on a napkin that said "Happy Birthday". We were so touch that she went above and beyond to make our babies birthday special that we told the other employees that she needed a raise! One of our babies has a heart condition that he wasn’t suppose to be with us anymore so this gesture was so special and made our day!! Thank you again Mia!!!!!”
“Love this place! Excellent food! Great atmosphere! The menu is HUGE! It took me 30 minutes to pick something the first time I went there because there were so many delicious things to choose from. I think the waitress came by like five times. Are you ready yet? Lol 😆 Oh yeah and they have a Huge selection of shakes and malts”
“These new owners have made a beautiful sushi bar/restaurant/menu. I have been to this restaurant 4 times now for lunch. Their service has made me feel valued and special each time... Friendly and timely. The ambiance is beautiful and it feels very clean when you walk in. The sushi is SO FRESH, even mid-week, and the special cut rolls are very artistic and delicious. I very much love the no rice rolls selection, and the Chef accommodated me by making a no rice spider roll that wasn't on the menu... Mmmm, Mmmm! I'm bringing friends upon my next visit (Sat. Aug. 2, 2025).”
“I love your sushi! They also have some of the best curry dishes!”

“Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.
Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!
Thanks for a great night—we’ll be back!”
“This was an awesome experience for our boys, ages 11, 9 and 6. My oldest boys had brought their own R/C trucks to try on the track, but they quickly realized that the trucks available to rent there were far superior, and the track was designed with that size in mind. It was well worth paying more to rent their trucks, but also fun to put our on trucks to the test. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving the kids plenty of guidance, and staying out on the track to rescue trucks that flipped over. The bathroom was clean, water cooler available, and there were plenty of tables with umbrellas to provide shade. The onsite food truck provided yummy, family friendly food. The word needs to get out about this place—it’s great!”
“Big Mike was amazing!! Had my brother’s bachelor party supper here in a private room and Mike was better than we could have ever expected!!! It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a steakhouse in my 42 years of life. When I come back to Cali, we’re coming back if he’s there.”
“Szechuwan Garden has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I believe they changed owners in the last 5 years and everything has improved. The waitress Juan (pronounced Jen) is lovely and a great waitress. Her personality is second to none and she will take good care of you. John, the waiter is also very nice, as well as Amy at the front desk. The food is totally delicious! The cashew nut chicken is my newest favorite and I crave it several times per week. Huge portions of food for a very good price. Check this place out if you haven't already. Deserving of more than 5 stars.”
“Their new brunch menu is great. Easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in awhile and that’s saying something , arugula side, caramelized onions, bacon …say no more right. It wasn’t heavy either. Incredible. Super nice staff too on the weekend, the bartender was so friendly and kind which is rare at a nice place like this. Prices aren’t crazy either . Place is such a vibe”
“This place is family owned, it seems and it's my favorite. I will die for these noodles. I found it years ago when I was living in Simi Valley and I have since moved out of Simi and I am ALWAYS willing to make the drive to get these noodles. They give you more than enough food and the price point is incredibly reasonable. I tell everyone I know about this place and I love it.”
“FRIDAY FOOD REVIEW...GOLDEN PANDA BUFFET (again)...5/30/25! We hadn't been to the Golden Panda Buffet, located at 1825 Madera Rd, in Simi Valley, in several years, so it was time to go back! They have a huge selection of Japanese, Chinese, and Mongolian food for your dining pleasure, plus there are also different soups, salads, fruits, and of course desserts and ice creams! We both tried a variety of it all, and for a buffet, it's really good!! It's definitely a locals favorite...get there early!!”
“Great lunch special! The beef ravioli was amazing and the cheese pizza slice was HUGE. would come back again!”

“Sadly, I would recommend the Denny’s in Moorpark and NOT the “new one” in Simi Valley. We were SO EXCITED to see that a Denny’s was coming back to Simi Valley - and for the first few months we enjoyed weekly breakfast and dinner once a week. Servers started changing (NOT a good sign) and sometimes it seems like they really didn’t want to be there. And WHAT on earth did they do to the gravy? I use to love a side order or biscuits and gravy - but the last three times it was watery and had absolutely NO flavor. Today we had lunch at the Denny’s in Moorpark and the food was excellent and the servers were attentive, friendly - and ones we have seen working there for years. That has to say something about how management is treating them. The last time we went to dinner at the Simi Valley Dennys - a nice, familiar waitress served us and I told her we had missed seeing her and she said her days were cut to just 2 days a week. She use to work at the Denny’s on Sycamore and also at the Coco’s on Los Angeles Ave. (now closed). We’d sure like to see MORE servers like her at the Simi Denny’s - any restaurant that has such a change over in staff is not a good sign. A happy, well treated server will tend to stay if the Manager is good and cares for their employees. I’ve lived in Simi for almost 50 years and many of my friends who also liked the Denny’s on Sycamore now go to the one in Moorpark instead of the one closer to “home”. That is such a shame. In general, we all like Denny’s menu and affordable prices - but our local Denny’s needs to care more about providing it’s customers with the best food and service possible. Please, Simi Denny’s - hire better staff - including cooks - and treat your staff better so they will want to stay - and will be happy to serve their customers instead of making us feel like our servers would rather be somewhere else.”
“Clean restaurant with good prices & fast, friendly service all in an excellent, convenient location. シ
Parking: The parking lot is sort of a strange shape in turn making parking a bit of a hassle. Other than that, this is my favorite Del Taco to visit in 𝙖𝙡𝙡 of Ventura/LA areas.”

“Ordered food to go for a baby shower. Food was ready right on time, they loaded into the car for me and were so helpful. The food was delicious with everyone enjoying the choices. Easy to work with and saved time by putting the wonderful food out to serve. Highly recommend!”
“I have found a legitimate broker who has helped me in so many ways in the aspect of forex & cryptocurrency. At first, I was really skeptical that it won't work but I still kept the faith going until I saw a recommendation about Mrs Craig Vanessa who changed my financial status from grass to grace. Once again I'm really grateful for your help and support towards me and my family in this tough time of the year. If you are looking for a change in your finances, then connect to Mrs. Craig Vanessa today on WhatsApp through Facebook via Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“We ordered a wedding cake from Skiff's for our big day and it was amazing! Our guests raved about the cake (get the raspberry and champagne filling!) and they designed it so beautifully. They were also very reasonable price-wise. Would highly recommend them for your special events!”
“If you want one of the best Mongolian bbq in Simi Valley, this is your spot. You can dine in or take your food to go. I did both. They have a good variety of dishes on their menu. They also have a Mongolian bbq bar where you can choose your own ingredients and have the chef cook it for you. The staff are very nice and so are the chefs. It’s a fun experience watching them cook. I got the take away with fried rice, noodles, beef broccoli and orange chicken. It was well seasoned and delicious. Parking is abundant here so no issues with that. It’s good for a large party as you can see from my pictures, it’s very spacious. Great place to grab lunch or dinner. I recommend.”
“Bree was AMAZING! I showed up unexpected, and she was patient and extremely kind to me explaining which direction I wanted to have something done. Regardless of how busy she was, she took the time to print out a sample! She was beyond professional and helpful! Would highly recommend to use her and I will be back to use her again! *just remember to call ahead so she can give you the one on one undivided attention to make your project unbelievable!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!”
“I love this. It is a guilty pleasure. We used to come here since I was a kid. I can’t believe it’s still in the same location. In fact, I used to live at Bruno Campos home over on Ardenwood! I used to rent out the beautiful apartment that he has custom built over his garage but anyway this place is delicious. I love the smothered enchiladas as I said it is a guilty pleasure. You must try it at least once.”
“Wow just wow!! From the presentation to the taste everything was amazing! Keep in mind reservations only through Instagram. Sushi_Tanaka and reservations can vary from 1
-2 months and cash only. Worth the wait.”
“This place is AMAZING! Not too many quality all you can eat restaurants around the area, but I’m so glad I found this one. I’m a tough critic when it comes to sushi restaurants but at $40 for AYCE sushi dinner for this quality is unheard of nowadays. The food was delicious with generous amount of fish and the service was super quick and great. I highly recommend this place.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Delicious as always! Truly never disappoints. You can get your drinks less sweet if you want to cut the sugar a bit, especially after enjoying some sweet or savory breads. The hotdog bread, brioche, milk bun and taro are some of my favorites. Also, the Deluxe Chocolate Mousse is to die for!!! Drinks are consistent- my fave is the Seasalt coffee with coffee jelly & my sister loves the Thai Tea Boba.
First time at this location, SO happy I don't have to drive to the valley when I want a sweetie from 85. It was a Wednesday, so the selection around 6pm was scarce, although it allowed me to try a few I normally don't get or tried before. I REALLY liked the new Coconut sweet bread they had this time and I love the sea salt coffee with coffee jelly. The best pastries, always fresh and cakes are beautiful and perfectly presented. The staff today were super nice and helpful and the barista made really good drinks!”
“I usually order delivery, and the food always arrives fresh, hot, and delicious. I’ve never had any issues with my stomach — everything has been perfect every time. I really appreciate the quality and consistency! This is the only pizza place I order from, and it’s been my favorite since I moved here a year ago.”
“This particular cupids is the only single remaining original occupant right after this entire strip mall was built. So bless their hearts.
I love Cupid’s hotdogs, especially, the chili dog. Sometimes when we go to junkyard Café up above, then we come here also and get hotdogs to go.
I remember when this place was built junkyard Café used to be Fudruckers, and right next to that used to be a restaurant called the good Earth.
Aw, I miss those places.”

“The food was delicious and heartwarming, just like a home-cooked meal. The atmosphere was simple, clean, and unpretentious, which added to its charm. It's a true family-run business, and you can feel the joy and humility in their service. We truly felt welcomed and appreciated. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!”

“We will not return. SOME staff is just too volatile & moody & rude. We have been going here often. The last straw was last Monday at 4:30 pm when the rude Korean waitress Sylvia (?) refused to seat us in the closest booths ( "No those are for employees "🤔) and then refused us another booth because we were only two people. Mind you we've sat at every booth many times every time because of our back issues. Even though I have a cane, she often makes us wait when the place is clearly dead. The only pleasant staff is Manny, Vanessa & the nice female Hispanic bus person. But Sylvia & the very gruff Chinese woman act like they are doing you a huge favor. I have overlooked their rudeness before, but this was it for us. Perhaps she doesn't like people line me with canes. We will go to Kyoto instead or Hai Sushi we do not need to be treated rudely.”

“Eggs and Things is a wonderful restaurant right out of the Ventura Boulevard style. The food is great. The free appetizer is a nice little surprise and the most delicious toast I’ve ever had and if I’m not mistaken, it is buttered on both sides!
The place is a little bit loud, but that’s only because it’s so popular. We try to go weekly and it’s great for Easter!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible, including the restroom”
“I have been going to Chi-Chi’s my whole life!! This would be since the early 70s! They have some of the best food in town! I absolutely love their salads, rolls and pasta! My favorites are their pesto sauce and their meatless sauce!! Everything is homemade! Their pizza is the best!!
Vegetarian options: They have meat free sauces for anything you ask! They have lots of salads! You can get veggie pizzas too! They have potatoes too.
Dietary restrictions: They have half portions, vegetarians options, fish or seafood options etc. They have gluten-free options also!
Parking: They have several handicap spaces and spaces for take out that they come out to your car to bring your order to you in the evenings!
Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is room for people with wheelchairs, walkers, canes and I have brought my service dog in there with no issues!”
“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I literally walk here and eat frequently with friends and family because I live on Presidential Drive, the same street that the Reagan library is on.
I strongly suggest the turkey croissant club sandwich! Delicious.
All of the eateries inside the library are really good. Actually I love the lemonade at the pub. I don’t drink.”

“Love coming here! Their drink menu has something for everyone, and the toppings are always fresh. The food is just as good—try the popcorn chicken and french fries!
Staff are quick and helpful, and the shop has a fun, chill vibe with plenty of table space. Highly recommend!”
“recently tried the Teriyaki Madness regular chicken with noodles, and overall it was a solid meal. The portion size was generous, the chicken tasted fresh and had a nice grilled flavor, and the teriyaki sauce was rich and slightly sweet without being overpowering. The noodles were soft and flavorful, soaking up the sauce well, though I think they could have used a bit more seasoning or vegetables for balance.”
“This place is fantastic, the workers are super welcoming and friendly like if we know each other. They really help in any possible way. They don't rush you to order, they answer all questions asked, and never in a bad mood. They are just beyond nice workers. 1st time I stopped by this place was a week ago while going back home from Fillmore and after working all day the best thing to treat your body is with a nice cup of coffee. As they have a wide variety of options I didn't know which one to go for, I just wanted something different from most places, and this place has plenty of options, anyway I think I got the blended nutty irishman, it was absolutely delicious, personally I really loved it, as I was driving around the corner and there is not Makena in Huntington Park I decided to turn around I get a 2nd coffee cause I didn't know when I would be back to work in the area, and my 2nd coffee was as great as the 1st coffee. And today Nov-12, I decided to go for another one, same great service and great coffee, I got the Santa's cookies, absolutely delicious and the girl who took care of my order, she is extremely helpful and friendly , while I was trying to choose which drink to get she didn't even rush me or didn't even get upset, because I didn't know what to order , I just didn't ask her name but she is super friendly, thanks I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone which is perfect for kids as well. Plus they have food, tacos, burritos, burgers and soft serve for extra dessert. I was lucky today, I got a free meal card, thank you so much again. Personally I really liked this coffee, so flavorful and very good prices.”
