When its slow service is good. When its busier service is very slow and hard to get the servers attention because they do not have enough servers on. They think they are saving money this way, but people end up leaving or not coming back because of the slow service.”

“Our furbabies love the "pup meals" at In-n-Out. We went yesterday for our furbabies 12th birthday and had a HUGE order for their birthday party with family. Mia helped us out at the drive-thru. She saw our furbabies in the car and we told her it was their birthday and told her what we were doing. She was so amazing!! She was patient with us and our order. As we drove thru to pick up our food, she came to the window and said "hi, it’s me again" and handed us 1 of our bags, which was the food for the furbabies. Inside the bag, was a hand written note on a napkin that said "Happy Birthday". We were so touch that she went above and beyond to make our babies birthday special that we told the other employees that she needed a raise! One of our babies has a heart condition that he wasn’t suppose to be with us anymore so this gesture was so special and made our day!! Thank you again Mia!!!!!”

“This was an awesome experience for our boys, ages 11, 9 and 6. My oldest boys had brought their own R/C trucks to try on the track, but they quickly realized that the trucks available to rent there were far superior, and the track was designed with that size in mind. It was well worth paying more to rent their trucks, but also fun to put our on trucks to the test. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving the kids plenty of guidance, and staying out on the track to rescue trucks that flipped over. The bathroom was clean, water cooler available, and there were plenty of tables with umbrellas to provide shade. The onsite food truck provided yummy, family friendly food. The word needs to get out about this place—it’s great!”

“Sadly, I would recommend the Denny’s in Moorpark and NOT the “new one” in Simi Valley. We were SO EXCITED to see that a Denny’s was coming back to Simi Valley - and for the first few months we enjoyed weekly breakfast and dinner once a week. Servers started changing (NOT a good sign) and sometimes it seems like they really didn’t want to be there. And WHAT on earth did they do to the gravy? I use to love a side order or biscuits and gravy - but the last three times it was watery and had absolutely NO flavor. Today we had lunch at the Denny’s in Moorpark and the food was excellent and the servers were attentive, friendly - and ones we have seen working there for years. That has to say something about how management is treating them. The last time we went to dinner at the Simi Valley Dennys - a nice, familiar waitress served us and I told her we had missed seeing her and she said her days were cut to just 2 days a week. She use to work at the Denny’s on Sycamore and also at the Coco’s on Los Angeles Ave. (now closed). We’d sure like to see MORE servers like her at the Simi Denny’s - any restaurant that has such a change over in staff is not a good sign. A happy, well treated server will tend to stay if the Manager is good and cares for their employees. I’ve lived in Simi for almost 50 years and many of my friends who also liked the Denny’s on Sycamore now go to the one in Moorpark instead of the one closer to “home”. That is such a shame. In general, we all like Denny’s menu and affordable prices - but our local Denny’s needs to care more about providing it’s customers with the best food and service possible. Please, Simi Denny’s - hire better staff - including cooks - and treat your staff better so they will want to stay - and will be happy to serve their customers instead of making us feel like our servers would rather be somewhere else.”

I stopped going there because the female chef failed repeatedly to make the food properly, so now I come here. I have to drive far away to this location and I don't have a problem with it. “This place has absolutely become one of my go-tos in Simi. I’m obsessed. The food is amazing, the cheap tacos on Tuesdays are such a good deal, and their cucumber drink is SO good. I literally think about it when I’m not there. 😂

But honestly, one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is the people. The main girl I always see working the register—the one who always has her red lipstick and her nails done—is SO sweet. Like genuinely so sweet and personable. She remembers you, talks to you like an actual person, and somehow every interaction with her just feels good. I love her, love her, love her. Everyone else I’ve interacted with has been really nice too.

There are honestly very few places in Simi where I feel like the customer service is as much a part of the experience as the food, and this is one of them. It’s all about the vibes for me, and the vibes here are just GOOD.

The parking can be a little confusing/hidden the first time you come here, but once you figure it out, you get it. It almost adds to the charm because this place feels like one of those if you know, you know spots.

Cheap tacos on Tuesday, cucumber drink, amazing people. What else do I need? 😂 Whether I’m coming specifically for Taco Tuesday or just because I’m craving their food, I’ll absolutely keep coming back. I love this place.”

Asked if I wanted full or partial wrap on any of the dogs, which was appreciated - because I can't get out of the parking lot without at least devouring one dog. The food is always on point and consistent. One thing that I really love about Cupid's, is their chili sauce. By itself, it would be bland. But the point is not to be eaten by itself, obviously. What makes it great is the distinct lack of salt. This incorporates amazingly with the saltines coming from the dog itself and the mustard. Whenever I'm close to one of their locations I try to make it in. The Simi Valley store is especially nice and so is the staff.
Oh, yeah. The Chicago dog is authentic and spectacular.”

“FRIDAY FOOD REVIEW...GOLDEN PANDA BUFFET (again)...5/30/25! We hadn't been to the Golden Panda Buffet, located at 1825 Madera Rd, in Simi Valley, in several years, so it was time to go back! They have a huge selection of Japanese, Chinese, and Mongolian food for your dining pleasure, plus there are also different soups, salads, fruits, and of course desserts and ice creams! We both tried a variety of it all, and for a buffet, it's really good!! It's definitely a locals favorite...get there early!!”

This is one of those spots that can either be busy beyond belief or super chill and inviting for the weekday traveler. Either way, it’s got a great atmosphere and just feels welcoming the second you walk in.

I sat at the bar, and the biggest standout was Marcos. He’s the man! Super helpful with the menu, great service, and genuinely just a great conversationalist. I really enjoyed chatting with him. Above and beyond customer service that made the whole experience even better.

And the food is so damn good. I ordered off the brunch menu, and it HIT. Tons of flavor, huge portions, and some killer sauces that brought everything together.

By far the best food I’ve had in Simi Valley so far. This place absolutely deserves the hype.”

“The Krispy Krunchy chicken is inside Golden Panda. We came here for the chicken and it is how I remember it! Amazingly delicious. It’s the best fried chicken you’ll eat. We also had the buffet here and it is surprisingly amazing! I’m not a big Chinese buffet guy, as a matter of fact I’m most certainly a foody. Me and my wife eat everywhere spending big money on bigtime food. But that childhood flavor of gas station chicken is still soooooo good. If you didn’t already know, KFC started in a gas station and I loved that too. (Something changed there though).
I do really hope they make this a door dash order that I can make. I’d for sure order this many, many times. It would also give everyone in the area an opportunity to try the chicken. I think everyone thinks this ad is a mistake.”

“Hello, honestly, no matter how much I say about this new Chipotle branch on Simi Valley, it wouldn’t be enough—it’s really excellent. Compared to the other Chipotle branch on Simi Valley (town center), this new location is much better. The food quality at this new branch
is significantly higher, and the staff are very respectful toward customers. I’m truly happy that this branch has opened here.
