“Just two people, one in the kitchen and one doing everything else. But they were so kind and welcoming. I never felt neglected. I had a fantastic beer I've never seen before (Kati Patang) and my saag was delicious and not oily. I would have liked it a little spicier but I can just request that next time. Truly wonderful experience all around and I can't recommend it enough.”

The decor was inviting and relaxing with soft lighting and interesting artwork. The food was amazing! We would highly recommend the veggie lovers, the green curry, Thai basil fried rice with tofu, the catfish and the sticky mango rice. Parking was a little challenging, but well worth it. Even if you’re not nearby, it’s worth the drive!”

“My wife and I dropped into La Ezkina recently to try a restaurant we have not visited previously. The place was completely empty when we walked in and the workers seemed thrilled to have customers. Our service was excellent and the food was good but it was such a bummer to see nobody else there. It must be so hard to run a restaurant these days. The bar completely dominates the middle of the restaurant and I found it distracting. In a way, it’s not clear if they want to be a bar or a restaurant. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Hopefully others will try it too.

Having been long time San Franciscan that has been to Original Joe's in SF and Daly City, I knew we were in for a treat. What a fantastic experience it was. The decor is so beautiful and our server Kristen cold not have been more helpful and accommodating. We started with the fried Zucchini and the Lettuce wedge salad (My favorite). That would have been enough right there-the portions are very ample. We both ordered the Steak Ala Bruno with a side of their homemade ravioli and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Finished with the butter cake and I have to say it was so delicious. Thanks to Original Joes and the lovely Kristen my husband thoroughly enjoyed his birthday.”

The cooks are great, host is always nice. Be warned it can get crazy busy on weekends especially evenings, its better to order in person and just grocery shop nearby while you wait.”

“My son recommended this place, and I’m sorry I waited so long! We ordered so much food they had to move us from a 2-top to a 4-top just to accommodate! We took a lot of leftovers, but there’s not one dish I would have removed from our order. Everything was felt, you could taste the various flavors of dumplings, the noodles were amazing and not “too saucy”, you could really taste the noodle. I HIGHLY recommend- and, the prices are incredible.”

“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!

The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.
