If you're vegetarian, they also have plenty of vegetarian options so definitely give it a try. I'm not sure if I spoke to the owner over the phone but the gentleman who picked up was super helpful and friendly!

The lemongrass chicken medium spiced was delicious (full of flavor with the bright lemongrass & herbaceous spice). We shared the mango salad with shrimp -medium spice. “I went at 11:30am on a Wednesday. I ordered the pulpo twice and two glasses of a dry white wine recommended by my server, who is a delightful man with a charming accent. Though the restaurant was practically empty when I first walked in they had a relaxing vibe with a mostly pastel/white interior. I've had better pulpo, but not in walnut creek. If I wasn't able to go to oakland/San Francisco for octopus, I would come here.”

“Montecatini Restaurant is always a welcome evening for our family. We can always count on perfectly prepared meals every time whether it's a traditional pasta dish, seafood or house specialty item. Their service is friendly and efficient and our experiences there are consistently top-notch. We love to start with either the prawns wrapped in pancetta with pesto aioli appetizer or the bay shrimp on butter lettuce salad. The prawns are full of flavor and great to share, and the bay shrimp salad is a great portion, small meal-size with delicate balance of flavors. The carpaccio is also a favorite of our family, we order it with the arugula, red onion and dijon dressing. You cannot go wrong when ordering your favorite Italian entrees; we've literally never had even an average experience here! Pastas are perfectly cooked, well sauces and the portions are abundant. The Classics are authentic, delicious and the seafood entrees are always perfectly executed! They offer a full bar and a wonderful wine list! This restaurant gets my highest recommendation!”

I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich, very filling and the biscuit was so good. I had one pancake and man was that delicious! The parking is also a plus. “My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.

They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.

Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)”

The chef did a great job, cooking the fish to our liking. The staff here is friendly and professional. The sitting has a very comfortable vibe and is open and airy. They have a full bar and great selection of wine, in addition to the food menu. Another plus is the location. You are steps away from parking and Walnut Creek shopping. “I've been to the San Francisco location many times in the past, so was curious to try this newer location ever since it opened.

Went with my wife for breakfast. We shared a Millionaire's Bacon Flight. My wife ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice with a Salad, and I had the Savory Soufflegg Skillet with a side of the Hot Pepper Bacon Jam.

The prices are very high, between 2 of us we spent $130 for 2 entrees, a salad, a bacon flight, and 2 drinks. But the food was very tasty and we did enjoy it. There seemed to be some unique menu items not on the SF location menu, but there were no flavored ketchups like the SF location has. It did have a nice fancy atmosphere and you could taste the care put into the food quality.”
