We experienced notes of strawberry, cayenne pepper, and smoky honey to peaches and grapefruits, and even sherry – each wine had its own distinct personality. Each sip was a delightful surprise, and the unexpected combinations made the tasting truly memorable.Our host, Tony, was outstanding. He not only answered all of our questions with enthusiasm but also went above and beyond by providing us with an insightful tour of his cellar. The passion and artistry with which he described the winemaking process added a special dimension to the experience.We thoroughly enjoyed our time. “Wonderful place to relax and try amazing wines! We did a wine tasting and couldn’t decide what to get, because we liked a few of them. Ended up buying a few bottles to take home. The owners are very friendly and their outdoor wine tasting area was very pleasant! We will definitely come back again. We learned about this winery through Harvest Hosts, which lists different places where you can bring your RV and stay the night. Their RV area is great. It gives everyone plenty of space and they provide you with a picnic table. It is just to one side of the winery, perfect place to stay!“

“By far my favorite winery in San Diego County. This authentic wine maker focuses all their time and energy on making excellent wine. Where some other wine makers are wedding venues or tourist attractions first, Hawk Watch got it right in my opinion; great wine made with passion. Having said that, it's also beautifully located in the Warner Springs area, which means you can enjoy a glass of wine in tranquility surrounded by the vineyards and beautiful hillsides.“

“We visited shadow Mountain winery a couple weeks ago with our friends from Australia. Julie was gracious and greeted us warmly and explained her wines and the different flights available. We chose to try the white flight and settled in and out on her lovely patio in the back to have a picnic lunch. The setting is really serene and lovely she even offers free bottles of water which was greatly appreciated. It was interesting to see the operations around the winery since they were harvesting grapes at the time. Highly recommended bring a picnic here and hang out for a few hours it's really nice experience.“

“Emerald Creek Winery is a little gem tucked away just outside of the Temecula Valley Wine Country. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its sits on top of a hill with the most amazing views! The sunsets are spectacular! Even on the warmest days, there are cool breezes to enjoy, and breath of fresh air! I love it here! Our friend and host Ms Kathleen, with her welcoming smile and southern charm, makes the day complete! She is thee most gracious and friendly young lady y'all will ever come to meet.
