“Went there on our way back home from Sacramento.
Nice place, got there around 6pm and it was pretty packed. There were only two waiters but they promptly took our order (to-go) and said our food would be ready in 15 mins.
So we waited at the nice little wood-gated patio with several clean tables they had outside onto part of the road.
The only reason I put 4 stars was because they were so busy that they couldn’t/didn’t bring us our order after 20 minutes passed. I had to go in, ask for our order (two burritos) and they said they had it done already, and they handed it to me as I said thank you.
A little more concentration on whose waiting for what would’ve been better, we might’ve not waiting so long.
But otherwise the two burritos supreme’s were delicious! ($17 ea) maybe because they were supreme.
Nice restaurant overall, good atmosphere, clean environment and nice cultural music to go with it all. Maybe a bit more waiters would be nice so they wouldn’t be scrambling in their thoughts, but it was a nice experience to go downtown in Woodland.“
“Great spot for ceviche, mussels and the pastor burrito is amazing. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.“

“Bro… just had two tacos & the birrieria just now, had to jump up on here while I’m literally eating because it’s that good. It’s like love, community & fun all wrapped up in food and hitting my taste buds. Definitely gonna be the spot when I’m here in Woodland.“

“The place was empty when we got here on a weekend afternoon visit. The service was good and the place was clean. The food was good and the prices reasonable. There are not many plate options, but they do have quesabirrias, which my son loves and he said it was deliscious. Would recommend you try it and see for yourself.“

“The food at Iguana's is nice quality and the prices are fair for what you get. Their cook to order kitchen can be a little slow if they get busy, and they will be busy any time around the end of the school day. The cantina atmosphere is welcoming and the salsa bar and Agua Fresca selection round out the experience nicely.“

“My wife and I stopped in here a few weeks ago for a quick bite while we were in town to have a few of our dogs groomed in the area. What a great find. The atmosphere was friendly, and the bartender was the only one there, and told us that the wait for food may be a bit longer due to this. This was not so, as he did such a great job making our quesadillas, while still tending to his bar, and our food arrived faster than most "fast" food places. He also talked my wife (a wine enthusiast with a gin martini preference on occasion) into a margarita. She was very impressed, and when I ordered an alcohol free beer, he turned me on to the NA Heineken (who knew?) which was also awesome. On a quick note, when we left, we took some of our leftovers and what was left of a container of sour cream, only to notice when we arrived home (1.5 hours away - yes we love our groomer this much!) that the container was not a to-go cup, but an actual dish from the establishment, oops! Luckily we had another appointment the following week for another one of our dogs, so we stopped in and admitted our theft. Their appreciative response to our return of the "stolen" property was genuinely the best reaction with teasing and humor. I highly recommend this venue if you want a good drink or great Mexican cuisine, and if you visit on a day that we have dog grooming, you will likely find us there!“

“Great local spot! Been searching for a great sauce to top tamales, and we have found it!!“
“A little bit out in the cuts, but do-able.
Food- pretty good! Aside from them slapping lettuce on or near everything we'd ordered, things were tasty. My chimichanga was a fried burrito of yum with fabulous meats and spices inside. Was huge- took half home in a container provided.
Service- fairly boring. Except they bring it out to you. Being one of two parties present at the time, it wasn't busy but it was nice to just go sit. Now if you're going to whine about the fine china used, be forewarned: ours came out on the finest Chinet (paper plates) known to man. Enchilada came out in a plastic tray, presumably to not wilt with the sauce.
Ambiance- well it's a barely remodeled fast food joint. Seemed like it anyways. Like I said, it's the cuts so I'd never really come out here before. Not on purpose anyways.
Had no smells of cleaners of any sorts so okay! Reading this place used to be a Burger King. Sounds about correct. Service counter looks exactly like a fast food restaurant.
Wouldn't be my first choice if looking to experience cuisine like no other. It's solid, though, and those street tacos may be (wait for it) FIRE. There, I tried to be hip. Don't think it worked. Try this place if out in the sticks. It's just a little further out there than Costco.“

“I love their food n dish options. The fact that tgey have a desery place right next door is just the cherry on top. Its a bit pricy but nowadays everything is more expensive than what we are used to.
Parking: Best to park off of court street.
Dietary restrictions: They cook with regular oil only. Except for the carnitas which r cooked in pig fat. N they have vegetarian options.“
“This gem of a taqueria is a must have in Woodland, CA! We’ve eaten here every time we’ve driven through town and it never disappoints! The tacos and burritos have the freshest, most delicious ingredients and they are lovingly handcrafted to order!
For the price, this place is a can’t miss!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Hidden Gem for Fresh, Flavor-Packed Mariscos!
Las Islitas Ostionería is hands-down one of the best spots around for authentic Mexican seafood. If you're a fan of mariscos done right — bold, fresh, and loaded with flavor — this place should be at the top of your list.
The vibe is casual and welcoming, with a strong local feel that makes you feel like you’re in on a delicious secret. The décor has a coastal charm, with nautical touches that match the seafood-heavy menu. It’s perfect for a laid-back lunch, family dinner, or weekend seafood feast.
Now, the food — absolutely stellar. I ordered the aguachile verde, tostadas de ceviche de camarón, and the molcajete mixto, and each dish blew me away. The aguachile had just the right amount of heat, with super fresh shrimp and crisp cucumber slices soaking in a tangy, spicy marinade. The ceviche tostadas were packed high with flavor and had that ideal balance of lime, onion, and seafood. The molcajete came sizzling hot and loaded with shrimp, octopus, and other seafood treasures — it’s a must-try if you’re really hungry or sharing with someone.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. Service was quick, and everything came out fresh. I also appreciated how clean and organized the place was, which is always a big plus when it comes to seafood spots.
Prices are more than fair for the portion sizes and freshness. You definitely get quality here — both in ingredients and preparation. Whether you're a mariscos veteran or trying Mexican seafood for the first time, Las Islitas delivers a memorable, flavor-packed experience.
Highly recommend it if you’re craving seafood with serious flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Pupuseria La Chicana… Wow, their food is so fresh! I just ordered delivery, and if you haven’t tried them yet, you definitely should. I got the Caldo de Res and the Chicana de Carnitas and both were delicious! The portions are huge, the meat is super tender, and the veggies taste so fresh. With the weather getting colder, I know where I’m getting more soup! 😋🍲“

“These are some of the best tacos in the area! The flavor really just comes out in the meat. The radish and carrots they give with their tacos and the cilantro in the tacos are fresh, adding to the taste. The tortillas have a nice crunch to them.“

“YUM! I came here randomly since I was in the area working... the chile verde burrito I had was amazing! I love juicy burritos, and this one was super tasty and juicy. Don't let the underwhelming sign and building deter you! GO IN AND EAT!“
“I have a lot to say about this place. I came when it was first open in 2014, the menu was small. Came back, a few years later. A huge psotive change. Menu improved, they added really authenthic mexican desserts. Prices are decent. Quantities are great. Service is wonderful! The decoration OMG! love it! Mangoneadas are unique here and the tostilocos, they put a lot of ingredients! paid 7 for my mangoneada really cheap price!“
“I spent 100 dollars on drink's and a big bowl of chicken and beef nachos ?. Which I thought was good... The bartender was cool. She always smiles ? and was appeasing... I bought a hour of pool table. Which I was reminded. I'm way out of pocket... Lol. Pun “

“There was a fellow working the window who used expressive voices and a had a jolly demeanor as he worked. He ended our visit with “Come back any time!” He made me and my partner grin from ear to ear, and has inspired a DnD shopkeeper with his wonderful demeanor. Otherwise, the food from this Taco Bell is the best in Woodland. They follow the instructions of your customization requests and everything is hot when it gets in your hand. These guys are awesome.“
